I have never used an Independent shop in my life because Ive always Worked for dealerships. What a GREAT shop! Tyler was the only one in the office when I walked in. Warm smile, good eye contact. Good communication throughout the process. Fantastic personality for working with people. He went out of his way to find a matching tire for my GMC.Ownership and employees are honest. Both our vehicles were done on time and right on the money. I will be bringing my truck back soon. Highly recommend 👌

The staff was pleasant and personable. It took them no time to figure out the problem. The repair was a reasonable price, with a three year warranty. They was so helpful and knowledgeable. They had no problem provided me a ride home and back to the establishment. Tyler handled my transaction quickly and effeciently.

Everyone at Tech 1 Auto was very professional and courteous. I never really leave reviews but felt compelled to in this case. They were clear in communicating with me all of their maintenance findings with regard to my car, and never tried to sell me on a service that I didn’t actually need. Probably the best auto shop I’ve taken my vehicle to yet. Trust is an essential piece of the puzzle when dealing with car repair shops, especially for someone like myself who knows the bare minimum about auto repair and maintenance (can do my own oil changes and replace air filters and some lights but that’s where the knowledge stops). Tech 1 Auto has certainly earned my trust and they will be my go to shop for general automotive maintenance while I’m living in the Phoenix area. You’ll be disappointed if you’re expecting quick stop oil change prices, but you get what you pay for in terms of having well trained, truly knowledgeable technicians and service advisors. I’ve used Tech-1 for a number of years now. They service all 3 of our vehicles and NEVER try to sell you a repair you don’t need.All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. When I have questions about a repair, such as getting new struts on our Camry, they take the time to explain why the repair is needed and if there are any options.Tech-1 is one of the best repair shops in the valley.

I cant even find the words to describe how amazing this establishment is. Krista listened to my exact needs/concerns and was able to relay that to Tyler so when I received the call back everything was addressed. Tylers communication throughout the process was above and beyond. The technician was even able to diagnose problems that two other shops could not. I made an apt. To have my truck worked on . I waited a week to tow it over there. Then I was contacted and told that it would be another week before they could get to it. I used another place to fix my truck. This place may be a good shop. I dont know because they never got a chance to fix it. They must be extremely busy. The shop I used was fantastic

Over period of 6 years, I’ve taken it to 5 different shops including the dealerships, 3 to be exact. They were patient, understanding and found the problem when the Ford Dealership could not. They went beyond just looking at codes on a computer to determine why the AC wasn’t working when the compressor and fan checked out fine. The dealership wanted to replace parts one at a time until the fix was made. After spending over $1100 with them and the next part being quoted at $1500. I decided this wasn’t working and found Tech 1. It is difficult to find a shop that has the knowledge and skill to figure it out but they did. Thank You, I will be back and recommend!

First and foremost. This is one of the most honest, if not THE most honest shop I’ve ever experienced! I went in with what I thought was an issue (due to my research and other shops saying the same thing over the phone). Well, the issue was something completely different, something cheaper.The staff from the front desk to the mechanics were very friendly and knowledgeable! Plus the 3 year 36,000 (maybe 30,000 I don’t remember) mile nationwide warranty is amazing too! Thank you everyone!

Need an Uber/Lyft inspection? Do not come here! I set an appointment a week in advance. When I arrived I was told it would take 2 or more hours. I have been driving rideshare for 5 years and have had many inpections, most carried out by Lyft and Uber employees and ALL in less than 5 minutes.

Ive used this place for 2 or 3 years and the service has been outstanding. Even through a difficult period where a transmission repair/replacement went bad during the initial 12 month warranty period (twice!) they stood behind their repair and took care of it at no additional cost.I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good, dependable car repair shop. You make an appointment for an oil change. Suddenly they have a cheerful guy who is going to drive you home. Think about it all you need is an oil change but they want to drive you home. Does that mean that they’re going to find something wrong and call you telling you that you have extensive repairs necessary. That’s what they did to my niece. She refused to accept the recommendation for new shocks when they called to update regarding the oil change. She said no and the shocks have been on her car for an additional 25,000 miles with no problems whatsoever. To get even with her for not going along with the scam they vandalized her car by putting grease marks all over the ceiling.

I told the Tech 1 team about a friend who was struggling with the economic and personal impacts of Covid. She was a single mom whose house had been ravaged by Covid twice and had lost many extended family members. Her family members had to take time off from their hourly jobs and were facing the financial implications from that. When she finally was cleared to return to work-- her 15-year old car wouldnt start. The team went above and beyond for her; picked up the car, worked on it for her, and dropped it back off at her home. When I last talked to her, she told me that it is running GREAT. They are a team with a HEART for their customers. While, they have been my team-- working on my car for at least 7 years-- after witnessing many of these acts of helpfulness, I won’t take my car anywhere else!

My a/c went out on my car. After doing a thorough inspection on my whole car, I was given an estimate on each item of concern. They did not pressure me at all about doing any of the repairs. We had the AC fixed and the radiator flush and I was more than pleased with the work the professionalism and the kindness of Hunter. I would recommend this place for auto repair 100%.

I had electrical issues I took my car to them they were very thorough and made sure the diagnostic was correct being I had taken my car other places and spend a lot of money fixing other things that werent the problem. Took my car here after another shop failed to identify where the leak in my AC was coming from. They located it so quickly and had me in and out with it running brand new and ready for summer ! Ive only been there one time and plan on going back, but so far everything was great. I brought my car in and they looked over everything. Told me what needed fixing and things that didnt or that could wait. They gave me photographs and copies and detailed pricing. They were super friendly and pretty quick to finish the work. My car has been running smoothly without any issues since. Would have given 5 stars but since Ive only been there once, didnt seem as appropriate.

I’ll admit I was sad when my mechanic of 12 years (Thunderbird Automotive) merged with Tech 1 Auto, because T-bird always provided me with reliable, trustworthy, efficient, and honest work. I was nervous about trusting my vehicle with Tech 1 Auto, but my fears were put to ease when I was treated like a VIP upon entering their doors. Hunter and his team were very professional, up front, and helpful when it was discovered during a routine oil change that my Ford Fusion was leaking a considerable amount of oil. Hunter contacted the dealership & warranty company to get the repairs covered for me. He saved me over $700 by working with the extended warranty company and even giving me an educator discount, which is truly appreciated. I was even provided with a courtesy vehicle free of charge while my car stayed overnight for repairs. Awesome! Had a friend who was stranded in Phoenix due to broken down van. Hunter and Cassie were prompt in their return calls and informative. Found the part same day and before noon next day, van was back on the road. Transported my friend to nearby hotel and picked him up next morn. Appreciated their help and great customer service. This is the best place for repairs I have found in Phoenix. The shop is clean the employees are friendly and the service staff explains everything to you as the do any repair. No high pressure here. 6/5/2020.I took my 2 vehicles in for service. (1) was for routine oil change, when they replied with a few additional services ( cabin filter, brake flush.) I can understand that as routine needs.The 2nd vehicle I took in with an A/C issue. They took their time to evaluate it, which i appreciate. Then called to tell me that it needed a new kit and 8 hours to repair / replace to the tune of almost $2000!!! I told them that I would not be paying for that today. I called a different local shop, near 91st and Grand Ave, and I was told that price was very high and to bring it in. Long story short, Yes it needed replacement parts, but NOT A WHOLE KIT!! They replaced the compressor, and now I have cold A/C again.I will no longer be recommending this location anymore. Why rip out working parts when individual parts can be replaced for less money?? Thoroughly disappointed treatment received.

There are so many great things to say about tech 1 auto. First and foremost, they are incredibly honest and sincere, which in my opinion is rare to find in a mechanic service nowadays. They walk you through every step of the process, and even if they do recommend a service, they dont badger you into a purchase. I have a vehicle with alternative fuel, so I was referred to Tech 1 Auto years ago because they are certified to work with my system. They have done several repairs on my now 18 year old expedition but this time they advised me not to sink the cost of the needed repairs into a vehicle whose value is much lower than the costs to repair it. I know they know their stuff, and I APPRECIATE their honesty. I trust them implicitly & heir customer service has always been top-notch. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Very expensive!!! I had my car towed to this place on a referral and I also checked the ratings and I must admit they have great ratings.....but WOW, their prices knocked me out. Literally every place I called after I got my diagnosis from this place was $600 less. Thats not chump change. Check your pricing before committing to these people. I took my vehicle to Greenway Family Auto they seriously did the same job for 1/2 the price. I was leary about Greenway Family at first because they have some questionable ratings, but just with any business if your rude to them they are gonna be rude right back and thats with any place you get treated the way you treat others. My experience was very pleasant and my vehicle runs like a champ😎
