Ive been to Beachlers about 3-4 times in the last year and a half Ive lived here and now that Im moving away from Peoria Ill really miss their service. Their customer service and pricing are very transparent and clear. If I still lived in the Peoria area I would just go to Beachlers for everything, they helped me with Oil, brakes, tires, and electrical repairs and helped me significantly.

They do good and thorough work, however be advised it usually comes with extra charges because they do things without getting authorization from you first. In this case a wheel hub cleaning for $51. While I understand the need to clean it and appreciate being easier to get the rim off the car easier, Im not mechanically ignorant either. They couldve simply told me about the corrosion build up and Ive got cleaning supplies and wire wheels in my garage. I rarely go here, but theyre right across the street and I was in a tight spot for needing tires at the last minute. Ive never paid anything close to their estimate or have had the work done in the time frame they quote either. So good work, but beware it comes with a price you may not have negotiated for.

This review is long overdue, but so incredibly well-deserved. A couple months back, I got stranded in my car 3 times in one week when I went to run errands and my car (Toyota Corolla) decided to not turn on again. I had just had my battery replaced 3 months prior, but it was very clearly some type of battery or electrical problem. I took it to the Toyota dealership where I used to always get my maintenance and work done, and they looked at it for a couple hours and couldnt find anything wrong with it, so I took it home hoping it was just a one-off instance. I was stranded the next day for 5 hours. I took it back to Toyota, they looked at it for a whole day and STILL found nothing wrong and yet tried to charge me $700 for a new starter when the starter was not out, but sounded like it was going. They then said it would cost $2000 minimum to look further into a possible electrical problem. I had heard great things about Bleachers, so I promptly took it there for a second look and they made time for it over the weekend. They not only found the problem that Toyota mechanics apparently couldnt (disconnected/ungrounded positive battery cable that was causing a short), but fixed it for $115. Just to clarify, that would have cost me $2000 MINIMUM at Toyota and not even to fix it, just to try to find the problem. Absolutely amazing does not cover it, I have not had a problem since when I was sure it was near the end for my car with only 80K miles on it. I am now going to Bleachers ONLY from now on and I highly recommend everyone else does too. One of the few truly reputable and ethical vehicle car and maintenance places around, and extremely price reasonable with great customer service.

Amazing customer service! They give great automotive advice and guidance. There is no one else in town that would want to go. They take of my entire familys cars and trucks.

Watch out for the hidden fees, also the quotes are not close to what is priced. Than I had my tires rotated, was told the tires would come off much easier now they had broken 7 nuts and put new ones on. 2 weeks later 6 more broken nuts when I was having my brakes replaced had to pay for all 13, so clearly it was not that much easier. I mean cool to just go as fast as you can when the customer has to pay for everything they break. And than no discounts nothing, just was told that he begs to differ about the quotes. Laughable at that point. I was going there for over a year plus. DEFINITELY not anymore.

Really great service and helpful even when I ended up going with an option that meant less money spent at their business, but was the best option for me. Craig was especially nice and helpful.

Ive been going to Beachlers for a couple years, and its the best vehicle maintenance and repair service Ive ever been! Super friendly and professional, and they never try to push repairs that I dont need!

My fiancé and I came back from visiting family to see the exhaust pipe in his car halfway on the ground. We dreaded trying to get it into a shop last minute, but one call with Beachler’s and they had the car in the shop, looked over, repairs quoted, and back to us within 36 hours - including working with a truck towing it. They communicated with us very often and were very transparent about their incredibly reasonable pricing - as well as going above and beyond with giving us a full checkup on the older vehicle and lots of information about the vehicle. As new permanent residents of Peoria, Beachler’s has our business with my fiancé’s car, my car, and any cars we get in the future. Very very pleased with the service!

Its a great place to stop and get fuel, and its easily accessible even with a large vehicle. Old man Beachler is a master mechanic, and has a great service team. The gas station staff is great, and theres always snacks and drinks that are very convenient. Its one of my fav fuel up places on that side of town.

I want to share my experience today with this company. I had a tire go out on my car today, upon leaving the grocery store and Beachers came through for a stranger! They allowed me to put our food in their employee refrigerator and freezer so it would not spoil and had one of their technicians repair my car ASAP. While waiting, I watched them function and every customer was treated with unbelievable respect and care as if they were the only people in the building. I highly recommend this company.

First off, I want to thank youll for giving us healthcare workers a free oil change. When I first walked in, I was greeted with professionalism and courtesy. My appointment was at 2 P.M. I arrived there by 1:45 and I was done by 2:30. Talk about prompt timing. The pit crew was professional getting these cars in and out in a timely manner. The crew wasnt talking and horse playing around like you see at other companies. You can tell they take their jobs seriously and with pride. Brett ( my apologies if I got the name wrong)who was doing check out, told me all about my next maintenance and what is all needed to keep my car running. I enlisted Beachlers to conduct an independent third-party inspection on a pre-owned sports car being offered by a Peoria dealership. I also live more than 1,000 miles away so an honest, transparent and thorough review was necessary. Beachlers was fantastic. I dealt primarily with Larry who not only knows cars, he obviously cares about quality and customers. I also spoke to Brett who was also very helpful. It was obvious to me that these guys went out of their way to ensure the inspection covered nearly every base. The report checked off multiple car parts and systems with any red flags not just noted but captured with pictures. Tell me, one of the remarkable things about Beachlers was the fact that they did they not overcharge me and actually opted to do a less expensive report based upon the historic reliability and less complex nature of the vehicle I was interested in. That’s integrity! These guys are top shelf and I can understand why they would be in business for three generations as an independent shop. Larry is a winner and carefully went through all of my questions regarding their inspection and offered his view on any of the question marks that came up on the report. Beachlers was very helpful and I’m grateful for their expertise as I sought this unbiased but factual review.

We have been coming here for years. Brett, Larry and all the other guys at Beachlers are very nice. They tell me what absolutely must be done to keep me safe on the road when money is a little tight. We can pay and pick up our vehicles after shop hours because of the kind people working the gas station register. I feel like their prices are very fair.

Great price for the work done. Once the work started it was performed and completed in a speedy manner. They did get confused as to the tire I already had getting remounted and balanced. And if I had the new tire to perform the specified task at hand.

Finding a new car mechanic when you move to a new place to can be super stressful. Finding somebody whos honest whos not trying to rip you off and whos not negligent or trying to make problems can be daunting. Beachlers was recommended to us when we came to Peoria and we have been really happy with the great service on our vehicles and the excellent customer service. The guys at Beachlers have been super accommodating and helpful in explaining what repairs or services they recommend for your vehicle and why and take the time to explain if you have any questions. I cant think of anybody that would do a better job than the guys have Beachlers so if you dont know where to take your car, or you are unhappy with the service somewhere else you should definitely give Beachlers a shot!

Yeah, the courtesy ride to home or work when you drop of your car to be worked on is just an Uber driver. Beachlers will charge you more than most dealerships then provide you with the cheapest courtesy by sending you off in a car with a complete stranger they find through an app! No thank you! If I wanted to hitchhike I would just use my thumb.

Best service! Just moved from out of state, blew a tire. Was able to drop off tire, waited a day for them to order my tire, they mounted new tire in time and called me to put it on. Lucky my tire was under a warranty, only costed me $2.73! No service fee, nothing. Had to pay State tire tax was all. Awesome service!!! Would recommend to anyone and will be going back in the future when needed. Thanks Jose!!!!!

Over charged!!!Very unsatisfied!! I brought my wife’s car in because the window wouldn’t close. They kept it for five hours then decided just to tape it in the closed position not to mention charge me 105 dollars for that? The invoice read 40 something dollars for taping the window in the right position what a joke. I will never go back and will let all my colleagues know what kind of place this is. The owner seemed cocky and smirked when I asked him why I was being over charged he answered he felt he went above and beyond bs!

Sorry I was meaning to write this review back in late February when I had my vehicle repaired. These guys were courteous and professional from the first time I called to when my vehicle was finished. Larry was very understanding of my situation and accomodated me with paying my way to take me home and picking me up for work with a Uber and even giving me a lender vehicle for a couple days. I was extremely satisfied with the customer service and also the repair of my wheel hub assembly. They go above and beyond and I recommend Beachlers for any maintenance or vehicle repair needs. I first took my car to Obriens Toyota andd I was there for five hours to get a 1,000 dollar quote. Beachlers was able to get me back on the road for half the cost. I will never forget their care and that they were understanding of my situation. Honestly Larry just called me for a 90 day check up just a second ago which made me write this review just now, and my appologies, I was meaning to write this early March but had gotten sidetracked. Highly recommend Beachlers and this will be where I get my vehicle services or repairs done. Thank you Larry and your team for great service and I appreciate everything. Stay safe guys!

My service was phenomenal. Jose B. was my service agent and based on my diagnosis of my car issue (which was wrong), Jose steered me back on track. He explained what he suspected the issue was, ran the diagnostic testing, communicated results, cost, completion time, ubered me home until my car was ready, and walked me through the service of my car a second time upon my return to pick it up. I trust Jose. He is honest, my car runs perfectly, the cost was fair, and the turn-around was so fast ( 3 hours prior to the estimated completion time.) PHENOMENAL! ! I was so pleased that the next day I decided to have my second car serviced on an issue that occurred only occasionally. Problem was found, corrected, and now I am good to go!!Excellent Service at Beachlers, excellent service management via Jose B. He will be my auto service man from this point on.5 star rating. After taking our Subaru to the local dealership to resolve a starting issue, we left with a new battery and feeling like we were rushed out the door.The problem quickly resurfaced and I was not looking forward to taking it back to the dealer and paying dealer prices to have them practice on my car and keep repeating until they got lucky or I ran out of money. (Sorry, this is frustration talking.) I had heard that Beachlers had recently built a new garage and was expanding their service capabilities. They were billing themselves as the Dealer alternative. I thought, finally, someone between the Dealer and the oil change-plus guys. The problem was complicated but they found the issue, communicated well and fixed it. The price was perfectly fair. I also left believing that if the problem would resurface, they would stand by their work and work with me. A very good experience. I will be returning and referring!

Im so happy with my service I got there . I had brake service, oil change and inspection on my car. I was kept informed about my car inspection, they even sent me pictures so I could see for myself what they were talking about. I had to work before they opened up so they gave me a Uber to take me to work. I read some reviews about staff members being rude but that is not what I experienced. Larry and Rick was very nice and professional, great customer service for sure! This will be my place where I take my car. My car also runs great, no complaints here.

Every single employee is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. I always receive a notice before my car might need some important work done, and setting up an appointment is as easy as scheduling lunch with a friend. Traveling and had fuel leak issue. Went here because it was close to the highway. The estimate they gave to do part of the work is what the entire job cost down the road. They also ran vehicle out of gas but was kind enough to leave it at their gas pump so we could get more gas. Definitely take advantage of people from out of town.

They have personable customer service and a friendly atmosphere. I booked my first appointment online with ease and was also given an e-mail reminder of my appointment time and date. I booked my second appointment with them via phone call and received a call back once work was complete. They do thorough work and they did not badger me for up-sale items/work. I have my girlfriend go to them also for this reason. Thank You for honest work guys!

Jose B and Bret B have always been my two most professional persons to walk me through my vehicle maintenance projects. They will break down the ‘needs’ and the ‘shoulds’ for customers to best propose the work that can be done in your budget. It helps that they are centrally located in the City and easy to access at their newly built repair center.

My car broke down when I was in Peoria for a convention. Beachlers got me to my hotel and had the car back in my hands in less than 24 hrs. Larry kept me informed on cost and progress throughout the process. I would recommend them for any automotive service. A friend at the convention said his family has had excellent service from them since the 1960s.

Absolute great service from beginning to end. I reached out after receiving a letter from them, welcoming me to the neighborhood. Very helpful over the phone and in person. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a cheaper, quicker solution than another service shop in town. Additionally, they rotated my tires free of charge and checked over the entire car to see the general state of the vehicle.Then, after providing the services, they called back a week later to assure my car was running smoothly.I highly recommend Beachlers to anyone.

My initial experience with Beachlers as a first time customer was okay. The customer service was excellent but they werent able to provide the exact job I expected. The basics were done which was okay with me since the cost was cheaper than estimated. My maintanence required light remained on which is annoying but no big deal). Let me tell you though, once you question them about a possible mistake YOU are the ENEMY. They were very rude. Apparently the person who completed my transmission flush was a 40 year veteran - the guy who I was told was going to service my vehicle couldnt be older than mid 20s. Another older man did look into a separate coolant leak but apparently the possible leak wasnt looked into, then it was, then it wasnt. Whatever I said I was wrong before I was able to explain into further detail. I feel very disrespected by Beachlers. It was as if I was arguing with a person off the street and not the GM or owner of a business. I was warned not to go here by several people but listened to the one friend who said the place is great (they did mention theyre pricey though). Not only did they lose one customer, but several because myself nor any of my family will be returning.

Traveling through Peoria on 3/17 our engine problem light came on. We were referred by our local mechanic, Famgmanns Service in Farley, Iowa to contact Beachlers to diagnose the cause. We were greeted by professional mechanics who quickly determined we could make it home safely with the vehicle. It is good to know that there are such good service people available who are willing to help when needed. We recommend Beachlers to anyone in need of quick and honest service.

I had the oil in my car changed. I also asked for a tire rotation ($19.99). The service technician came out while I was in a lobby and told me that my tires didn’t need to be rotated after they looked at them. I really appreciated the honesty. Overall good first experience.

Called and shared the need to have 3 motor mounts replaced on my daughters 2007 Ford Focus. They doubted if I knew exactly what the vibration was from. I told the guy it was already confirmed that the top 2 mounts were shot, and that I wanted those, along with the bottom damper mount replaced. The tech was persistent in getting the car to him for an inspection for $100. He would not even tell me what hed charge even if the inspection was confirmed that tge mounts were shot. This is typical practice of a mechanic scam: get it in for an inspection, and try to scam money from honest and tax paying citizens. Sorry sir, I paid a mobile mechanic $50 on his 1hr total labor, and $46 for all 3 motor mounts. Runs like a charm. When a customer tells you they already had the car inspected and it was confirmed to be a motor mount issue, dont tell the customer you cannot give a quote, and please dont tell them that you yourself need to perform the to confirm the 1st shops inspection.

I was having some trouble with my car and was referred to Beachlers by a family member. After dropping off the car, I got some very unexpected news about the problems. Without going into detail, Jose handled my hysterics very well. Once the decision was made to fix everything, they even offered me a loaner vehicle free of charge. They had my car fixed within hours and it is now running great. Very happy with everything. I will, of course, be returning to them for all my car needs!

I spotted my wifes car almost close to a flat in the garage about 4:30 PM on a Friday evening. I called Beachlers, and they told me to come straight in. They fixed the flat for a reasonable price and within 40 minutes I was on my way home. Morale of the story: Happy wife, Happy life. I mean well, kinda!

If youre looking for a place to go, just choose Beachlers. You will never have to worry about quality, they always try to find the best manufacture rebate when applicable, and they never get pushy when asking about replacing filters and other items during oil changes like nearly every other place Ive been in the past. They also popped out a dent I had in my rear bumper for free without me even asking! Ive worked with Jose and Brett so far - each have been fantastic.

Just got an oil change this morning and they vacuumed my car for free! All the staff are friendly and they have a beautiful waiting room with free coffee and wifi.

Im very late with this review but I cant say enough great things about Beachlers! I had my car towed here at the recommendation of my son Tory after it died near Bloomington. I didnt get my keys there until after 10:00 am on a Monday. By 11:00 am Brett called me with the problem of my alternator diagnosed and what I considered a very fair estimate. He offered to check other things later always calling to let me know the cost. My vehicle was ready by 3:00 pm the same day. My 1999 Toyota 4 Runner is running great and I was saved the cost of a rental car due to Bretts quick a professional service. I had my car taken in for service to fix the bushings and brackets on the rear suspension and even though they couldnt get one of the parts, they were willing to fabricate one of there own. It may have costed a little more for me, but it was actually less expensive than what I was expecting. They treated my car with the kind of care that I try to give it, and that means a lot to me. Great group of people doing great work!
