My Marine Quadrajet was in bad shape. He had it a few days and now it runs perfect. He shared a boat load of information and details of the clean out and new parts used in the rebuild. I called and left a message and received a response the same day. I dropped my carb off and it was disassembled, cleaned and re-assembled with new gaskets and run on another motor with a known good combo. It ran perfectly. Smooth idle, good AF ratio, etc.Then we installed the carb on my vehicle. I knew that I had issues with ignition timing. No problem, he tuned it on the spot. Ignition timing was set, idle mixture adjusted, etc. We test drove it afterwards and it ran better than it ever has before. I was pleased with the quality of the work performed and the price. If you need carb work performed or engine tuning, Hobbs is a great choice.

Hobbs gave me a 3-4 week turnaround time for my rebuild. They called me, 6 days later! Five stars for these guys! Great people and a great family owned small business! The carb looks brand new! Im a repeat customer!

Extremely satisfied with the work done here. We had them get an Autolite 1101 working and when it came back we put it right into the car and it started up on the first try with no adjustments. The prices are very reasonable as well. I would highly recommend this shop.

I was thinking of selling some old Carter carbs like solex but closed until7/19/16 on vacation should have answering machine to tell potential customers before they drive out from Massachusetts Im sure there would be interested in these parts no way to reach him.
