My family an I came from Michigan for my nieces wedding. Our rental ended up with a bolt in the tire 2 hours before the wedding. Midas got us right in and fixed the tire within 20 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. Without their help we would have never gotten the flower girl and ring bearer to the wedding on time. Came to this Midas location for a flat repair about 30 minutes ago. They quickly repaired my tire and placed it back on my vehicle. They did not charge me at all. I attempted to give the guys a tip and that was firmly rejected. The young man said this is what we do . WOW!! Didnt know this type of service still existed....We are new to Pasadena and will definitely be back to Midas for any other needs. Honest and Fair shop! Went there because my 2004 Ford F-150 crew cab was vibrating up through the seat at 50mph and up. I thought it was the emergency brake not releasing. They diagnosed in no time- (emergency brake) and was able to fix, lube and add a part that was missing on the left rear emergency brakes. I was charged a very fair price and much appreciated. Will use again! Thanks

After recently moving, I was looking for a place that provided reliable service. Midas was recommended by a neighbor and after going there 3 times now, I will continue to go there to avoid the high costs of dealership service. They have an easy way to schedule your appointments online, check in is fast and friendly, and my car had been serviced in about 30 minutes each time. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone.

This is the second time I have come to this Midas for a tire repair (not the same tire) and they have been amazing. Great customer service, quick, accurate, and great attitudes. They repaired an plug for me that another shop did a horrible job with. When I am in need of new tires, I am going to this place hands down!

Only place I go when I have a real issue with my vehicle! I usually deal with Scott Carter general manager. He is very cut throat in a good way. He takes the time to explain the problem and makes sure that I understand 100% what the best course of action is. Never steered me wrong! You have the parts but dont know where to begin, bring the parts in and he will once again come up with a fair estimate!

Good place for automotive repair

Went there to get a set of tires, mount & balance, and alignment, staff was welcoming, mechanics seemed to be having a good time, moved pretty quickly.The waiting room is pretty clean, has a tv to watch with snacks and coffee. Everyone seemed pretty personable and easy to deal with. Also, I got the right tires I wanted without any BS. Ill be coming back for anything I cant fix myself.Also: If you have young kids, theres a changing table in the bathroom and coloring books.

Great experience with this Midas location! I highly recommend this establishment. They completed a brake inspection, wheel alignment, and MD state inspection on my vehicle. Everyone at this location is wonderful and very informative.

I have been here twice recently for an alignment on my heavily modded project Del Sol and to have an exhaust reworked because of size issues after my swap was completed . The customer service has been fantastic. I would recommend this site for honest, quality work. Great place with awesome people.

Absolutely wonderful. I got a flat and took my tire to the place I bought it, and was told the tire couldnt be patched. (The other place just wanted to sell me a new tire). I came here because it was recommended by a coworker. The mechanic took one look at it and said, oh yeah, we can fix that no problem. They fixed it and had my tire back on my truck in like 40 minutes. FREE OF CHARGE. I will definitely be coming back here.

The waiting lobby at the midas is very comfortable,much bigger than ones I been in the past...their customer service is great.. Didnt wait long and car was test driven and fixed..was there maybe and hour and a half...best Midas Ive been too...plan on coming back for car maintenance...very detailed explaining the mechanical work done on the car..I was great satisfied!

Got an oil change and tire rotation today. The lady up front is super nice. 10/10 would recommend.

I was at another oil changing place ( which I will not name ) to have my oil change only to be told you have a oil leak and we cant help you. With that said I decide the next day to call MIDAS. After telling the nice lady on the phone what my problem was she made a appointment for me the same day. Within no time they took my car in the service area. The mechanic came out and got me so he could show me what my problem is. The oil leak could not be fixed at this time mainly because it will be a major job, but he was able to change my oil. I will say they have very professional people from the front desk to the mechanic. I will definitely be back in the future.

This is a great place. Scott does a fantastic job of explaining any repairs or maintenance needed. I have not had good experiences at Midas in other states, but this place is an exception. You can even trust them when your wife or daughter goes to them. Prices are always reasonable. I am already a repeat customer.

Great service and such nice folks. I appreciate their fairly generous weekend hours. They even have a Keurig to fix yourself a cup of coffee. There are much worse places to have your car repaired but fee better at 1pm on a Saturday with almost no notice.

The staff is friendly and helpful. Theyve aptly fixed exhaust issues on my car every time Ive stopped. Their walk-in availability is also very handy. However, theyre pretty high priced. They have warranties that cover the work, but usually, as part of the cost savings for exhaust work, they repair only the small section that was broken... a few months later a different section might break so its costs another chunk of change and so on. Keep that in mind as they offer deals and cost savings options with a great warranty. Ill go back in a pinch, but will shop around next time I need work.

I recently took my car in for service, and they not only did a great job, but the manager (Scott) thoroughly explained everything to me in a clear and concise manner. The repairs on my truck took all day, but it runs like its 10 years younger. All the issues I had are gone, even things I hadnt thought to get repaired. The techs were friendly and honest and Im glad they are my mechanics.Every time Ive been in there, theyve been honest and upfront about what needs doing, what can wait, costs, timelines, everything. All in all, very happy.

I had a wonderful experience at Midas. The manger, Scott explained everything in great detail and made sure that I understood the process my car would go through and he also explained the prices. The wait time was supposed to be an hour to two hours but it got done in less than an hour and I was on my way! I will definitely be coming back for any services that I will need in the future.

Horrible customer service, spend your money elsewhere

I needed my car to pass emissions and took it in for that specific problem. The manager Scott decided to do almost everything other than the work I needed and when I told him not to complete the work he gave me a hard time stating that he had already taken the vehicle apart and could do nothing about that. And that I owe them money. I contacted corporate office in hopes of trying to resolve a $2700 debt and no ability to still have it pass emissions. I was told to go back to the store and that they were filing a report . When I went back to the store the manager was extremely abrasive refused to give me the proper documentation showing what I had spent so it would pass emissions and then became abusive to both my wife and myself by literally pushing me out the door shutting it on me and causing my handicapped wife to hurt herself.I was told by corporate to contact the owner of the shop. I did so and the owner contacted me I was not available at the time. . I took my vehicle to a another service station and they gave me paperwork on how poor Scott’s work was and overpriced and unnecessary which I sent to the owner/shop I never heard back from them.Not only was I out $2700 but the problem that I initially brought the vehicle in for was not resolved nor could I get the proper paperwork. I had to go to another Service station and spend more money just to correct the faulty work that was done and to get my vehicle through inspectionI thought Midas stood behind its shop and work. I have not gotten any satisfaction from the owner or corporate. I’m sorry that I brought my vehicle there in the first place

Very knowledgeable and trustworthy - told us we didnt need a service done that the dealer was adamant about us taking care of. He explained things thoroughly and was quick to get the work done.

Ive been getting my oil changed here ever since I bought my Jeep 2 years ago. Staff is wonderful, including Scott the manager of this location. He never stops networking! We met him out at dinner one night with his family and he quoted us all a low price for an oil change and was just such a nice guy! Prices are EXTREMELY reasonable and the shop is always clean. Highly recommend them for any of your auto needs.

My family and I love the Pasadena Midas! We bring all six of our vehicles here for regular servicing. The manager, Scott, is always helpful and makes sure I am getting the best price for the service I am getting. The staff always explain what I need to do in detail and are patient when I ask questions. Ive had bad experiences at other auto shops giving me used filters, suggesting repairs I dont need, etc., and I have never had this issue at Midas. They are fine with my looking through the window while I get my car serviced. They have complimentary coffee and snacks for the wait- which is always short. I really trust them with my car. I wont be using any other auto shop besides Midas!

Great experience. Requested a quote for work over Facebook Messenger thinking I may never hear back, but got a response (thanks Christy!) and price and scheduled for 2-days later within minutes without leaving my computer or picking up a phone. I arrived on time for my oil change appointment and they immediately took my car. Tom took care of me and was great. We discussed prices and options on some other work (tires, brakes) I was considering and had priced around. He told me what he could do, tried to work with me where he could, told me what I actually didnt need to do right now, and was flexible without putting on any pressure. On top of that, he was able to squeeze in this unplanned extra work immediately without my needing to schedule again later. Yes, I probably could have saved 10-15% more by doing each piece of work somewhere else, but then I have to go to all those places, use my warranty at all those different places, and they dont all have a reputation like here, so the small premium was totally worth it. There is also value to be had in having your car work warrantied with a national chain, as you never know where you may be when things break down.It is very convenient to have a trustworthy local place where I can schedule a reliable appointment and now have oil change, tires, and brakes all taken care of at one place. Give them a try.

After getting my oil changed at other locations, I came here for an honest answer to a suspicious problem that other places were denying existed. Scott was honest, non bias, informative, and helpful guiding me through the right steps to get the problem resolved. I will be making this my permanent location for anything vehicle related because of their honesty and knowledge.

Scott was THE BEST. I took my car in for a basic oil change and mentioned a noise it was making. He found $3300 in damage and coordinated with my vehicle warranty company to make sure that he could do the work himself and the correct way because he knew where I originally got my car wasn’t as reliable. I received an estimate from a local shop by my house, the price seemed high. I went to the internet to search and found the reviews of this location, I called the shop and Scott answered the phone and assured me that he would look over my truck and give me an honest run down of the repairs needed. I drove from Carroll County to bring my car to him and from this point on I will not go elsewhere. Not only did the total of all repairs cost me $300.00 less than the quote from my local shop, but Scott explained the repairs in great detail. First stopped in when I had a slow leak in a tire and I saw their sign saying flats fixed free. They fixed it at no charge. When I needed brakes I went back and they did a great job. A few months later I needed tires and went back. They always do a professional job and often cut me a break on services. They have become my go to auto shop.

A friend referred me to Scott after we discovered a nail in my tire. Went to visit Scott the next morning to repair the tire, if possible. Scott was friendly and didn’t need an appointment for this kind of repair. He fit us in and was able to complete the job within an hour! I have lived in MD for over 15 years and had never found an honest mechanic. When I first went to Midas to have my Jeep looked at for exhaust issues, Scott Carter (manager) told me what he could do and didnt try to rake me over the coals. Since that first experience, Scott gets all my business. I know hell be fair, and thats a good feeling when you need repairs or maintenance. I highly recommend this particular Midas!

Writing this review is very upsetting for me, simply because I do not like giving bad reviews. I originally came to this Midas location a few months ago when my car overheated and this was the closest place I could get to given the circumstances. I had asked for them to just top off my antifreeze, knowing I had a leak but I was very close to my house and knew I could get back with just some antifreeze.The manager put my car on the lift and when he told me that I needed significant work done, I responded that I was aware of this and I just needed to get home. After debating with him for several minutes to just get my car off of the lift, he made me feel awful that I would not leave my car there for repair (this was a Friday and he wanted me to leave my car there over the entire weekend). It was absolutely ridiculous that I had to debate with him for this long to just take my car off of the lift so that I could leave.I decided to go back a couple of months later for an oil change, only because they had sent me a coupon in the mail. Of course when I got there, the same manager told me that this coupon does not apply to me and that the oil change would cost $120.00. What was interesting about this is that the Midas on West Street, Annapolis informed me that it should cost just under $100.00, which included the extra quart and filter.I am so upset with how this Midas has treated me. I feel incredibly taken advantage of and will NEVER return here.

Made an appointment one Saturday early. I repeatedly called them for updates as the day progressed. Finally go there close to closing to find that they havent started on my simple oil change when they told me there were close to being done then they tell me I need a new oil pan and give me a few hundred dollar estimate and couldnt get to it until later in the week as he had other appointments. I declined as it was clear my time wasnt important nor the fact that I had an appointment and it wasnt honored. I went to the dealership down the street on a holiday and they finished in less than an hour without mentioning the need for a new oil pan.

I accompanied my husband to the Pasadena Midas shop because the tailpipe on our vehicle separated from the muffler. We walk in and a very friendly Scott greets us with a big smile and asks how he can help us. Scott had us at “hello”. He let Tom know that Brian (my husband) was in for the appointment that Tom had set up the day before (which my husband said went well too because Tom was just as friendly). From the time Scott checked us in to Tom completing the job (and Tom guessed the problem and told my husband what the fix would be based on what my husband told him over the phone) it took 42 minutes. I had originally had a diagnosis and estimate done of my AC/Heat issue at AAA car care center in Towson, MD, where they said I had to replace my blower motor and blower motor resistor. I had the other issue -- my rotors -- fixed but decided to wait on the AC since it was cooling off outside. I decided to try to get another estimate since I already had the diagnosis and had moved to the Pasadena area and it was too cold to go without heat anymore. I talked to Scott at Midas who strongly recommended I get them to diagnose it again as those two parts do not typically go out at the same time and it could just be one or the other. I was skeptical that it could be anything else at that point because I had not had any problems with AAA in the past . . . that I knew of. Scott and the mechanics at Midas found that I didnt have a problem with either my blower motor or resistor that AAA had diagnosed. Instead it was the switch with my 1-4 settings. I originally thought the same, knowing nothing about cars, because I could sometimes get it to work by messing with the switch until it finally stopped working. I had told AAA of my suspicions and yet they came back and said it wasnt the switch. Anyway, Scott showed me where the switch was melted on my old one. Today my AC and Heat are back and only that small part needed to be replaced. They still had to disassemble the dash to replace it, but I saved over $120. The people at this Midas are very hardworking and honest and well be going there from now on. And now Im wondering if I actually needed my rotors replaced.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the staff is very honest and straightforward. I had my brakes done the first time and they checked everything else out for me at no additional cost. I recently had a noise coming from the undercarriage and they spent hours looking at it and driving it. It was fixed when I picked it up and since it didn’t require parts, they didn’t even charge me for it. I’m going to use this shop as my go to place from now on out. I have a Jeep Wrangler and they were very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this place if you are worried about honesty in the auto profession.

Free tire repair. While I was there the manager was being very helpful to a young couple on how to get their dealership to perform the work under warranty. Seemed honest to me.

Took my 2002 Dodge Ram to this Midas for an engine overhaul (head gasket, timing chain, etc.) and Im extremely glad I picked this location to have it done. Scott and his crew did a fantastic job at a very fair price. All the 5 stars reviews on this site are well deserved. My truck is running like its brand new again. I stopped in the day after Thanksgiving because I saw a sign that said free flat repair. I waited a few mins to be helped due to them being slightly busy. No biggie! Once it was my turn to be helped the gentleman asked to see my tire. He looked at it then said You drove on the tire and the tire is now no good. You will need a new tire which we dont have here but Mr.Tire in Pasadena,I hear arent the friendliest but should be able to help.Now because this is a Firestone tire you could also get one from them so they will match.Now mind you I literally drove out of my driveway and got maybe a couple feet away when I realized my tire was flat and reversed back into my driveway until I could get a donut put on. Point is I went nowhere. You could see where the tire was flat and driven on,on the outter part of the tire. However the tire was still in great condition. As a matter of fact I got it plugged and that same tire put on.I was told I did not need a new tire. Its still practically brand new and this is a brand new car. Just very frustrating because I have a small child and Im riding around on a donut. I know they are safe enough to use but I rather be safer and have a regular tire especially when I have a child. So I could have gotten it plugged at MIDAS.I rather him had said they are too busy they to lie in my face. I have been there once maybe twice but I will not be back again. Thanks again Midas!

If you are looking for speed this is not your place. I went in for a routine oil change and it took about an hour to complete. You may be thinking to yourself that sounds crazy, but first let me explain. During my oil change they also rotated my tires and completed a visual inspection. Instead of telling me the list of additional items I needed to fix they physically walked me to my car and showed me what was BAD and GOOD from brakes to air filter. Although I could have easily replaced my air filter I had them do it as a thank you for their exceptional service. They quoted me at a fair price for the remaining services; brake drums (rear brakes), primary O2 sensor, and battery cleaning, which were all preexisting problems I already knew about. As a bonus they went ahead and clean the corrosion from my battery for free, which is generally a $20 service. So for roughly $50 I received a full service oil change, battery cleaning, air filter replacement and inspection. I am beyond satisfied and would highly recommend this company.
