I’ve only had positive experiences with Fremont and Purdue. They are honest and fair. They don’t sell you something you do not need. While I was waiting for my car, I saw many happy faces and heard sighs of relief when people picked up their cars. Most were expecting crazy bills. They get my repeat business. Plus they are good about getting you in and out! They are absolutely the best in the area!!

I’ve been coming here for 5 years. I’ve had every kind of regular maintenance and some body work as well. They fix only what’s needed, have reasonable prices, communicate promptly, get the work done right, and they’re always friendly and very professional. I recommend this place to everyone I know.

Great customer service if i could give more starts i would honestly, the staff is very friendly and they don’t mind explaining to you what the car needs in my opinion very honest mechanic place they don’t over charge you i always felt like the price was fair also very experienced and professional staff they are always accurate on the diagnostic of the car and 100% of the times they fix the issue if they tell you they can. I’ve been a customer since I moved to Lincoln Heights about 1 year ago. It’s always been extremely pleasant to come here. Since there’s a lot I don’t know about cars it’s very important to me to go to a place I can trust so I don’t get screwed over. Eric is amazing! I fully trust his opinion and recommendations. I’ve often asked for specific things I thought my car needed where he’d say I could easily wait. Friendly, qualified staff!

Was quoted $175 for front and rear brake replacement on the phone. I get to the shop, $250 for the job. I walked out for the price mark up. Employee claims they dont like using OEM parts from customers because people will complain. All I needed was the labor. Bye

The guys at Fremont & Purdon have always taken care of our family anytime we bring in the cars. I first brought them my car when I had ripped hose hanging from the right rear tire area. I stopped by the near by shop and got a ridiculous quote I decided to take a risk and drive to Fremont & Purdon which was close to my house. The guys fixed the hose for $10. They’re honest hard working guys that will not cheat you for a minor repair. Would be nice if everyone valued business like these guys do.

The head mechanic said he would use a high end synthetic oil for my car and showed me the bottle. When I looked at the stuff they were actually using I found a completely different (cheap) brand.

These guys are phenomenal. I had a busted for that the tow guy dropped off for me and all the guys got together to push it into the lot. They got the parts and service all in one day and I picked it up the next day with no additional charge. 10/10 would go back to this place.

I recently purchased a 1930 Dodge coupe and brought it to Fremont & Purdon for a wheel balance and brake check as a first- time customer. Im very impressed with the attention to detail, honest service and fair prices. When I move to a new area and find a quality honest mechanic I feel like I won the lottery. I will be taking our other cars here for service.

I moved here from Virginia and was recommended by my son to go to Steve for all my auto needs and I am so very glad I did. I have a 2003 Expedition so things are starting to wear out which is to be expected. One time Steve let me borrow his truck so he could take my truck home with him to be able to start it and drive it 1st thing in the morning to see the issue I was having. Who does that?! That really meant a lot to me and showed me how sincere, trustworthy and honest they were. I will not take my truck to anyone else. My daughter takes her BMW there as well and is very satisfied. They are good people.

I highly recommend these guys.Steve J. pretty much runs the show there -- and he knows everything (including Hondas). I first went there for my Smog Check. I knew that my Honda Odyssey needed some work in order to pass, and these guys helped get the car in shape. On labor, they only charged $20, even though it would have been reasonable for them to charge a higher amount.My second trip there was for my Timing Belt and related work. They gave me an estimate that was slightly under what I was expecting, and they completed the work within that estimate. They did the work in a single day, even though they needed to order a new Tension Adjuster. Great experience.These guys are professional and they do great work at great prices.

From the very first time i came into the shop i was treated with respect and kindness and not like i was some dumbbell. Mr. Eddie informed me of all the services they provided and said they would take care of everything for me and for me not to worry about anything...guess what, i havent worried since that first visit. When i was leaving after my first visit Mr. Eddie was so kind and said to me, if for some reason, God forbid, you should need body work, we can help you here. I get a very comforting feeling dealing with this company. And the men are all Gentlemen!

Love this place. Steve is the best. Always remembers me and always right there to get things done right. I started using them only for Tires as they are the place recommended by the Tire Warehouse. But after a few times I started going for service on my older vehicles. Of course some things they cannot handle such as a Tesla, but for the Volvo and the BMW, they are great. Thanks Steve.

This shop is legit. I have an 04 corvette and they help me take care of her with new tires, brakes, oil, transmission, suspension changes, updates, etc. Prices are very reasonable. Steve will take care of you and your car!

Ended up taking the truck 7 times for the same repair job. Paid 700 originally and ended paying 4 times as much as every visit something else was wrong. Not once a warranty service on original work was provided. Either they dont know anything about diesel trucks or we just had bad luck. Am shocked to see its ratings. Will never refer.
