Been going here for years and I drive 30 minutes to them for any and all service. Its hard to find honest mechanics and they are dependable, reliable and provide all options for you. They dont price gouge you or recommend things you dont need. Just good old fashioned honest work. I recommend them to everyone I know. Highly recommend to go through them

We were new to the area and needed to find a good mechanic. Im so happy we found this place.We had a run of bad luck with car issues and worked with a few different mechanics. Every person we worked with was understanding and helpful.We were stressed because the issue took a long time to resolve (because of a defective part from a Honda dealership - no fault of this shop). Ryan and his team took the time to explain everything to us and provided realistic estimates for times and prices. We really appreciate everything this team did. And I cannot recommend this shop enough.We will definitely come back in the future.

I can not say enough good things about this place. Took it to another place and they tried to charge me 390 for diagnosis of the problem I told them exactly what it was and even provided the part number. Chesapeake car care had me in and out in 2 days for only 457. They were super friendly and helpful and professional. I recommended going here before trying anywhere else these guys are 11/10 on the satisfaction scale.

I stopped by with a leaking tire on a Friday afternoon. They saw me right away, were able to find the leak, and patch the tire in just about 10 minutes. The service was great and they were super friendly. Will definitely be coming back and sending friends over! Thank you again!

The customer service at this place is amazing. I’m usually intimidated to talk to mechanics but they treated me well. When I called they took their time to listen to the strange situation going on with car. They encouraged me to bring the car over for a quick look. They didn’t brush me off. They went in the car and quickly figured out what was going on. I am eternally grateful they helped me out because they discovered a toxic liquid had spilled inside my car and I was not aware. That’s what was cause my throat and lungs to burn and blurred vision while driving!!! I highly recommend this place and will be taking my car here from now on.

I was attracted to Chesapeake Car Care due to their good Google reviews, and it seems I wasnt alone. I had a rushed need to fill, and they wouldnt be able to get me in the day I needed. So, why write so positive a review for a business I didnt use? Because they were so professional over the phone. They could have given me a line to get me to drop off my car for an undetermined amount of time and secured another customer, but they were very professional and encouraging when I said I was in a rush and would likely need to call someone else to get it done faster.I cant hold them responsible for being too busy, and congratulate them in this current economy for having both a strong customer base (testimony to their merited reputation) and the courtesy to have my interests prioritized over their getting an extra customer.I wasnt able to work with them this time, but theyre at the top of my list for the next time Ive got an issue with my vehicle. In this day and age, and in an arena that suffers from questionable integrity at times, it was refreshing to receive such courtesy and treatment from an auto shop. Would definitely recommend.

Shout out to Duane and Ryan who took the time to look for and found a wedding ring that had fallen and made its way into an obscure, out-of-view location deep under the drivers seat -- pulling out both seats and the drive panel, Duane and Ryan never gave up --- and hours later found this ring. Its about going the extra mile --- listening and helping a customer. We have been faithful customers to Chesapeake for 15 years, through old and new ownership, the quality of work remains excellent but for us, the going the extra mile for their customers is boss! This was my first visit, I was referred by a coworker that goes there. I took my RAM for an oil change and they discovered I needed rear brake pads. They got the parts and had me going in no time. The service was great, the people were super nice and I met the new owner Duane, very personable really appreciated the business. Simple as that and if you dont like what I have to say then make some improvements that count starting with your customer service because I dont know any owner that spends this much time responding to one negative review if your business was doing well. I’ve been taking my vehicles to Chesapeake Car Care and Mandrel Bending Solutions for a long time and send all my friends as well. Their services are always amazing and customer service is well beyond anyone’s expectations. Anytime I need exhaust work I always use MBS which is next door. I recently just had them modify my challengers exhaust and I couldn’t be happier. Absolutely perfect!! I can’t recommend a better place to take your vehicle for anything it needs. When you go ask for the owner Duane or the manager Ryan, both of them are exceptional and have over 50 years of experience.

Called early in the a.m. to see about getting an appointment for the same day for an oil change and tire rotation, was told that there was one in the afternoon, gave the gentleman my name. Sent my husband there at the agreed time, only to be told that they couldnt take it because they got really busy and had a bigger job ahead of my scheduled appointment. Said to call back Monday. We based our schedule around this appointment; very disappointed after reading all the good reviews. This isnt how you do business.

First time customer here with my f350 5.4 liter. Needed manifolds, he gave me a more than fair price and told me hed have it done in 1-2 days. Pulling the trigger on Dave at Chesapeake Car Care was hands down the best idea ever. Im definitely taking my truck back to him.

Weve used this place a few times ...Ryan is the guy weve always dealt with . I.sure hope the owner takes good care of him. Hes a rare mechanic these days ... honest... conscientious and cares about his customers. My older kids used him to do inspections on the vehicles they purchased ... weve used him to do repairs .A COUPLE YEARS BACK .. We got another estimate from a nearby shop to do work for almost 600.00 on our expedition. We took it him for a second opinion without telling him about the other ....wow ... It cost us $40.00 ( price to put it on a lift ) It was 2 loose bolts had fallen out ! Total cost $40.00! Awesome for us ...not good for the other place of buisness. Thanks again, Ryan!
