This play was a gem of a find! We needed to replace the supports for our trunk on a Subaru outback. We got the parts directly from Subaru and Hrant had them on the car and me out the door within 15 minutes of arriving. Price was extremely reasonable and we are very happy with their service. We will definitely be bringing our cars here for future repairs.

Both my wife and I (having taken our car separately to Hrant) have always appreciated the quality work and the honesty that Hrant and his crew have exemplified every time.

Tune up was fairly expensive on my Scion tc which consisted of new spark plugs, air & cabin filter. Charged nearly $100 for labor & $70 for parts(took about 15min)What irks me the most is that they broke the clips on the wiring harness of the ignition coils when replacing the spark plugs. All 4 of them! And they fixed it by permanently epoxying the two together!They also used platinum spark plugs instead of iridium which it originally had.Overall, I appreciate the effort but the quality of the service seemed lacking.

They are exactly what u wish every mechanic would be, u can trust their knowledge and not worry that u have to research their advise on ur own, theyre 100% honest and so polite and considerate. I went there bc my sister said theyre great, had a leak in my power steering fluid. They diagnosed it and when I said I didnt have time to stay for them to repair bc I live out of town and had to drive home that same day, they told me what to do once I got home and then comped the diagnostic, plus filled my fluids- all no charge! Once I move back to LA, theyll be my mechanic. Do urself a favor and go to them!

I brought my car in this morning for a routine oil change and a check up before I drive several thousand miles across the country. I had some concerns about the brakes and an unusual noise. Within 20 minutes, Hrant and his crew had diagnosed the issues and recommended some repairs. A short one hour later, I had two new tires, new rear brake pads, a fresh batch of oil, and recommendations for future (non-critical) work that I should have done, all for $400.These folks are honest, fast, polite, and have very reasonable prices. I could not be happier with the service I received. If youre in the area, I would recommend this shop over any other!

Unfortunately I had to edit my original review of 5 stars. While they were very friendly and fast, I believe they made a mistake. I had to get a warped tire replaced. I assumed that they would use the same tire make/model as the rest, and they were pretty new already so I figured Id only need the one replaced. However, they ended up replacing the tire with a different brand. Additionally, said tire was a racing tire. As the shaking in my steering column came back, I brought it to a different auto service, who explained the error and I had to buy two new tires. I shouldve made sure the tire was the same, but I dont know much about cars and figured they would make the right call.

I stopped by about a year ago after getting an oil change done at the Honda dealer on foothill. I drive a 2014 Honda Accord, the Honda dealer told me I needed to change the transmission fluid. Long story short, I took my car to Hrant, after checking the mileage on it (roughly 20k miles) he said Osker, your car is brand new, I would feel bad if I changed the transmission fluid, your car doesnt need it. You can only respect and admire this kind of honesty. Well guess what? My car is close to 30k now and Ill definitely be stopping by to get this service done with him. See you soon Hrant!

This was my first time coming to Hrant based on the reviews I found online. You can tell that the owner and his employees base their business on some high standards professionally. When I came into the shop, I realized the man who I spoke to on the phone was the owner and he remembered exactly what I needed. I waited for less than the time he said I would and I paid exactly what I was quoted. Being a woman, walking into a car repair store can be intimidating, but I was treated with respect and I got the feeling like the owner would only do the work if it was necessary. Im at a loss ....All these positive reviews. The reason I took my car there a few times.1st time to replace my starter2nd time to fix my right front axle & power steering pump3rd time to replace front brake pads & rotors ***4th and last time for an oil changeHe is friendly but quick. He doesnt have time for small talk.When I drove off after getting my brakes & rotor replaced, my car did not feel right. There was a grinding feel every time I stopped. When I called Hrant back to check them again he said they are fineHes the machanic everyone glorifies, so I figured he was right.I noticed the brakes would now leave a dark dust on my hub cabs. I checked with a friend of mine who used to specialize in repairing Hondas and he said Hrant must have used cheap pads :/Less then a year later my car suddenly makes that god awful noise when the brakes have gone bad! I couldnt believe my car was going to need new brakes again.So I took it to another shop and the guy was surprised the brakes did not go out on me and have me end up in a bad accident. THE NEW ROTOR WAS TERRIBLY WORN OUT! AND THE BRAKE PAD WAS HANGING BY A STRING!!He assured me a new rotor would not have worn out in such a short time/miles. And that the pads used were the cheapest in the market.So why out of all these great reviews did I end up with such bad service?!I certainly had luck on my side that I did not end up in an accident.Should I have called Hrant back? Would I have felt safe even after I took my car back and he said the brakes are fine??? NO!I was so upset and let down that I forgot to take pictures of the damn rotor and pads to show you all.Makes me question some of these reviews.Are they made from family members, friends, employees? ? ?
