Super friendly staff. We were greeted upon entering the store. Both the store manager and sales associate were genuinely interested in assisting us. It wasnt a corporate forced customer service experience either which was amazing. Bravo.

Parking availability. Customer service and products are both on point. I really liked that they had Dodgers hats here along with a healthy variety of shoes. Very fair prices.

Night and day difference between this Big 5 and the Cathedral City Big 5. This place knew their products and could talk about them. Whether it was shoes or tennis equipment. There was a person there that actively helped customers too! Finally, the guy just picked out the stuff needed and handed it to us. This is the way a store should be run. Hopefully the Cathedral City branch closes and all staff is fired so that this place can shine and represent the Big 5 brand.UPDATE 2021-06-05:Went there again today and spoke with another employee. This employee was also quite good. Knew the store merchandise and showed us our options. 5 stars again.

Big props to Lauren at Big 5 today!. Walked in on a long shot after not finding a product listed available nearby wasn’t really available. After walking in door found two or three associates around the register and after greeting me I asked Lauren about a kiddie pool I had been looking for. Without hesitating she had me follow her to doors of the stockroom where she then pulls out a ladder and climbs to the top shelf to get and bring down the exact thing i had been seeking online and around town.I respect and appreciate that level of service anywhere, no matter what profession or job youmight be doing.Bottom line. Thank you Lauren, You made Charlie’s (the dog who is enjoying the pool) and my day!

Great Big 5. I usually go here or the one on Date Palm. Both are great. My son went here recently for new cleats. Customer service was great. The employees came over and asked if we needed help with sizes and were able to find his size quickly. Prices are always very reasonable as well. Highly recommended for any sports needs.

Returned an unopened, unused beginners pickleball paddle set that my GF got not knowing much about the game. They said store policy was only 50% of the purchase price on a gift card because I didnt have the receipt. Little did they know that I was going to buy two (2) $99 paddles and balls. They dont let you try on clothing. Had a bunch of things to buy in hand, just walked out. Their excuse was due to covid you had to buy it, take it home to try it on, and return it. So irrational on so many levels. Not only is it bad customer service but it increases customers potential exposure because they require an additional trip to the store but it also increases the likelihood that articles of clothing will become exposed to the virus by being in someones home and handled by more people. Clearly they hope you just wont bother and will keep things you dont want.

I came shopping for a .22 rifle to dust off some varmints and snakes around my house. I almost bought from them but found a better deal on Craigs list for a used pellet rifle that would do just as good a job for what I needed. However, the manager and other employees were very helpful, knowledgable about their product. Their prices were very reasonable also and better than Second Amendment Gun Shop in Palm Desert if all you are looking for is a new .22 rifle or shotgun.

Friendly service, found what I was looking for.

They treated me like a thief based solely on my appearance. And their was an incident which was I immediately brought to the attention of their corporate office.which they never offered me any sort of compensation or made any attempt to make me a happy customer not even so much as a formal apology or a 5% discount on next visit. I had even made a follow up call to cooperate to ask what if anything did their investigation to which I was stoned walled by saying that they couldnt give me any information on the matter even though they were clearly in the wrong.

Nice place. Been to about 100 big 5s this was one of the nicer ones. The staff was knowledgeable about the wide range of things we came for. We looked at everything in the store just about. If we ever go to that area again its nice to know theres something from are area in that area. The prices were even the same! Thanks! See you again.

I often visit this place for a new shoes display I was not disappointed. I got a new pair of running shoes here. It was really comfy and light weight. Good quality and the great price.

I enjoy shopping at Big 5

The place to go to for sneakers at any equipment from knives to camping thermal socks for winter great selection of shoes and tons and tons of things that you could use that you cant find anywhere else flashlights you name it they have it. The staff is always nice Unfortunately they must not pay them very well because the turnover there is incredible every time I go there are new people working there it is what it is. Besides that thats my go-to place

Conveniently located for PS residents, however, a very small store. Unfortunately they are not able to stock selections locals demand.With a fairly new Mgmt in this local store, I am beginning to see an upswing in clothing selections; hats a plus, especially for the outdoor female enthusiasts. This demographic has long been excluded at this location and I appreciate the endevors of the present Mgmt. Keep up the insightful changes. (It would be nice if you could expand your store to accommodate a much needed womens clothing dept./selection.

Went into the store as scheduled to pick up a firearm. The manager clocked out early and refused to let me collect my purchase. And smiled at my wife and I and offered the number to the corporate office. He stated that it would take about a half an hour to finish the purchase. More registration and background I suppose. I had already waited the 10 days. And we arrived at the scheduled time. The manager was Pedro.
