Ferman BMW has been the best car dealership Ive ever dealt with from buying to service. They never tried to bait and switch, or nickle and dime me during the buying experience. Their service has been exceptional. They drive over 1hr each way to my home to pick up my 18 M240i for service, drop off a loaner, and then drop off my car when completed. I couldnt ask for better service. Highly recommended!

Bringing your car in for service is not something you look forward to with great excitement, but my experience at Ferman BMW was actually enjoyable. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to be helpful. Attempted to schedule an oil change under my warranty FOR A WEEK! I left SIX messages; two with managers and got NO RESPONSE. I called Bert Smith and spoke to someone on the first try, and scheduled something for the next day. So much for spending thousands of dollars. We will NOT go back and will NOT purchase another car with them.

Best BMW dealership Ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and Im an 18-year, continuous BMW owner. The GM, Karl Alvarez, was so efficient, it was mind-boggling. They jumped to accommodate every single need and request for help. Everyone there was a thorough professional and knew what they were doing. I got a flat tire within 12 miles of leaving the dealership, and Karl jumped on getting that fixed so fast it was amazing. What a great dealership!

We all lost a great salesman and a great person I called a personal friend in Steven Venden, my Ferman BMW salesman whom rather recently passed away. After all those years Mickey personally introduced me to Dave. Dave has taken over for Steve working with myself and now my son, and hes there when needed just the same. Come to find out dealers make they’re own prices for parts. Before you buy parts from here make sure to check nearby BMWs. They are price gaging because of the area which isn’t fair at all

Ive never been made to feel more unimportant by a dealership in all my experiences ever. It seemed like they didnt care to aquire my business from the moment I walked into to service department. I made an appointment to have the convertible top on my car diagnosed for a Monday morning. When i dropped the car off on a Monday morning, and they acted like they didnt even know that I was supposed to be there. I waited all week to hear back from them to no avail, so I called on Friday afternoon only to find out that they wanted 3 more hour diagnostic time, which totaled over $500. I declined the additional diag time and went to pick up my car. After paying $87 for basically nothing and not one clue as to whats wrong with my car and leaving the dealership, I arrive home only to discover that the hood on my car wasnt even closed. Thank God it didnt fly up while driving down HWY 19. in guess the only thing important to this dealership is money. Not too mention the parts and accessories that I purchased while waiting to talk to someone. Thanks for making me feel so unimportant!

I found an issue with the satellite radio after I had the car first a week and he drove to my house and took the car back to the dealership, got it taken care of, then brought my car back to me. Ferman BMW made car buying simple and painless. Everybody at the dealership from Robert our sales executive, to Karl the sales manager and Jared in the finance department were super involved with the entire process and could not have been more helpful. I wasted hours sitting at 2 other dealerships and 3 days of waiting and waiting for calls back and chasing people down to no avail. After owning 2 cars from here I would’ve given five stars, but after a faulty car from date of purchase, and purchasing an extra maintenance program that included free loaner only to be told upon scheduling that the Ferman leadership couldn’t pass up a quick buck on the used car shortage and sold them all. Forgetting about the thousands of customers who purchased programs assuring loaners. Some of us proactively due to not having any family in the area and cannot be without a car. Any company that allows greed to overshadow the service it provides to it loyal customers is no longer a company I’ll do business with.Edit: and their lack of service continues. I was called after this review and given absolutely no solution and said with the shortage they had to make the money. Forget the thousands paid for a maintenance program that INCLUDED LOANER DUE TO NO FAMILY IN AREA. They are hands down the slowest repair bmw so I don’t have days to go car less. I’ll be selling my car and pursuing legal action regarding lack of service provided I paid additional for in this event. After 2 cars and 4 referrals, I will never spend a penny with this organization or affiliates. Spend your money somewhere where they care about the customer after the sale. Oh! And they let a car get certified WITH A FAULTY VALVE (aka black smoke) Not sure who’s lead mechanic but talk about failure to represent product properly.
Bought a CPU everyone in Sales were Awesome, just beware of service they will lie to your face about a loaner if you are not one of their favorite customer. Last three visit I walked out without a loaner although I bought Im paying thousands in warranty to them. I was fine an understanding the first two times, but the last time I went there just in time to see a loaner been returned an thats when my advisor lied about me getting until he walked off an the customer who returned it told me it didnt take all that he claimed I need for her to pick up the loaner.

Had a conversation to see a car and possibly buy it and was given a “VIP appointment” with the senior sales manager to be “first in line” to see the car yet the car sold before I got there. I was not told this at all and when I walked in after my 3 hr trip the staff had no idea what I was saying when I told them about my appointment and didn’t try to help, until someone finally came and said the car sold. Horrible communication and service.- Also was told after the fact that I would be contacted to resolve the situation - never happened and there was no way to fix the problem when the car was already sold to someone else. Full of dishonest employees like any dealership. I shouldve known to avoid after seeing many negative reviews about people getting lied to and sold faulty cars but in my case I didnt even get a chance to buy a faulty car due to their lies. AVOID AT ALL COST!

In 4 years I bought 6 cars from them each time very disappointed! I bought a bmw m440i model 2021 with all the guarantees that come with about $ 4000 more! my windshield cracked no projectil just started the vehicle and put on the air conditioning the windshield cracks I was going to ferman, they told me this is not our problem contact the insurance! the insurance tells me go get repaired paid and we will reimburse you bmw the advisor do not even worry about me limit I was the trouble come the bother never again bmw ferman go to audi or porche you would have a real after-sales service

The absolute worst Service department I’ve ever been to. Took my car in for a headlight replacement on September 8th, received a text several hours later telling me that I should “get a another car” after their so called diagnostics. I responded to the text and left numerous messages with the Advisor during the week. No return calls, texts, nothing….after 6 days there for a headlight bulb replacement! I just showed up to get my car and of course, more lies…. Horrendous customer service!!

Good experience overall, that said we waited over an hour to be helped by the finance department and took us about an hour and a half to complete that process, the sales manager came by to introduce himself but when I called him after the transaction day with a question he never replied.Salesperson was nice and attentive, that said his email response time after the transaction took over 36 hours.

Took in 2 different cars for service. If Im there on time, why do I have to wait for 15 min to be seen? First visit, they didnt do my lease turn in inspection that I requested several times. Second visit, they didnt reset my service reminder light and tried to charge me almost $800 for a $50 part and 15 min of labor literally anyone can do. Now the sales side of things: Sales rep didnt know anything about BMW or cars in general. She didnt even inform my wife how to drive a dual clutch transmission properly for her test drive. When I spoke to the manager regarding my lease turn in and buying another car, I was promised a call back after some information was gathered. This was 2 weeks ago and I still havent heard a thing. Im going to be trying out the other BMW dealerships even if they are further from my home.EDIT: Removed 1 star for the super annoying email and texts begging for a review. Be careful what you wish for.
Good luck getting a service advisor to answer a phone call.Got sold tires under the assumption they came with warranty. Was reassured several times they come with warranty...Only to arrive to replace a tire and be told“ no they aren’t under warranty. Here’s. A quote for new tires”No sorry, no remorse, no nothingI had to ask them to pump on my flat tire before I left...mistakes are made, but at least own up to them and apologize. Not make me feel incompetent.

This review is solely for Vincent Kitka, their paint guy. I simply can’t believe how good of a job he did. He went above and beyond at every opportunity to completely dwarf my expectations and turn out truly incredible work.I’m really, really picky about my car, and my car’s color was super tricky to match. When I went to pick my car up, he admitted that his first pass wasn’t quite a perfect match, and he agreed to totally sand and repaint it AT NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE (full bumper-off job), then touched up a pretty serious ding in my rear bumper (it looks brand new now), and even asked a few colleagues to look into some issues I was having with my iDrive while they had the car. And wouldn’t ya guess it? They fixed that, too.There are more parts of the story that I’m leaving out, but picky customers can definitely trust their car with this guy.Vincent was a pleasure to work with, down to earth, super friendly, and very critical of his own work (in a good way). I will be making consistent recommendations to my fellow Tampa Bimmer Club members from now on!
The finance person tried hard to sale all kinds of expensive warranty options, if you dont buy those options, his face turn to so ugly. Be careful, dont rush to sign the documents before you clearly know how the final monthly payment number come from, even he push you in rush.

This was the perfect experience from the start to the end. I found a limited series Mustang that had been there just a few days. I inquired online and was called right away. I set an appointment for when got off work and the car was out front waiting for me. Quick test drive and got to business. I was pre-approved and a low rate, they beat it. They were very reasonable on my trade in and offer. Everyone was very professional. From sales to finance. Im definitely keeping my business with Ferman, this is my second purchase from this group.

Upon the first time servicing our vehicle here for the 5k service they left the coolant cap off which resulted in the car overheating and my stuck on the side of the road. Paul, the service manager did get everything cleaned up and adjusted and we thought we were moving forward. The 2nd time the vehicle needed to be serviced went alright however shortly a light lit up regarding a head light issue. Ferman required 3 appointments taking the car before they were able to properly diagnose and repair this. Each time creating an additional inconvenience and demonstrating a desire to avoid me rather than fix the issue. I had to call Karl before I was able to get a straight answer from our service advisor Sal. My subsequent appointment for an oil change was met with system issues, delays in service, a wait time in excess of 90 minutes for an oil change and this was after a 4 day span of back and forth before even being able to set an appointment. To put it frankly, Im exploring leaving my lease early simply to never deal with this dealership again. They should be embarrassed by their level of service compared to BMW standards.

I do not recommend ferman....they sold me the vehicle with the understanding that the headliner would be fixed...they threw some glue on the headliner and said wait for a couple days to open it when I did what they instructed when I opened the sunroof the liner ripped back off and now headliner foam will blow in our eyes while driving which is a hazard...they do not want to fix the headliner because it’s a $2,700 repair....so thanks Ferman for a vehicle I can’t even roll the windows down in...I will never be back and I’ll make sure to tell everyone I know how you do businessI have to uphold my end of the agreement and make my payments even though they didn’t uphold their end of the deal

CAUTION!I took a 06 BMW Z4 in for service, the AC was not working and the convertible top would only operate in cooler temperatures. They charged me a diagnostic fee and said the AC needed a new Blower Motor $1100. They said the top need d a new motor and lines for $5500.I took it to a European repair shop and his diagnostic showed the vehicle was in transportation mode which prevented the AC from working, he reset it free of charge. His diagnostic on the top was that it needed a new control unit, parts and labor $285.And they dared to charge me an absolutely inaccurate diagnostic fee!Use Caution if taking a vehicle here for service!
There is no word to describe the experience of doing business with this dealer, I called to ask some information about a car for sale and make an appointment. When we went to Ferman BMW to see the car there, we entered the Dealer and went to the Front Desk, there was this polite lady, and asked our name, and confirmed our appointment, and asked if we want something to drink or eat, at the same time that she was calling a sale agent, Mr David Soto came to us, and started explained about the car, and went to get it for us to see it, and test drive it, this guy can not be more professional and customer service oriented, we love the car, and started the buying process, That when Mr Joe Cleaver came to assist us, everything related about the finance, this guy is a Genius, this guy is a gentleman, this guy make your dream come true, to make this story short, I bought a Nice BMW, I have the best and the most professional attention, and the best buying experience of my life. This dealership Posted a 2017 Mustang shelby GT350 for sale on Car Gurus, which is a vehicle that I have been searching for over the last few months. I placed a phone call to the dealership prior to driving an hour to view and test drive the car, fully intending to purchase the GT350. They assured me it was available and ready to be viewed, and set an appointment to do so.After driving for an hour to arrive for our appoinent, we arrived to accept extremely horrible customer service. Not only did they have no idea who I was supposed to meet, regardless of the fact that I made the appointment and confirmed it as well, they had no idea where the car even was. The sales person said that they believed the GM had been driving it, then disappeared for near 30 minutes, leaving us sit there waiting. After about 30 minutes, they came back with a set of keys and informed us that it had not been leaned or inspected yet. Stating that they would not sell it if their Inspection found any issues.When we got to the vehicle, it was completely nasty, had a flat tire, and was not able to be test driven at all. I expressed my frustration after not just driving an hour, but also calling to make sure it was available prior to making the drive. When I expressed the irritation about the matter, they asked if they would want them to call me when it is ready, then continued to tell me that the inspection had been done, and no issues were found, after just telling me it had not been done.After asking if they could at least give me a trade in value to see if it were my time to come back with it to get the GT350. She said she would be right out, then left us standing at our vehicle for almost another 10 minutes. After calling my second dealership to see if they still had their GT350, we left to drive to Mercedes of Tampa Bay. The sales person called after watching us leave the dealership to let me know she was coming out to Evaluate our vehicle for trade when we drove.away. The experience could not have been more different. They had the vehicle ready for us, met us out front with it, and we purchased the GT350, finishing app paperwork in under an hour overall.I sent the sales person the below text to let them know my disappointment in the experience. I have bought over 35 vehicles over the last 10 years, this is the worst dealings I have ever had with a dealership, and that should state a ton!.Text to dealerahip:Please let your management know that we just purchased a GT350 from Mercedes of Tampa. Cash payment. Your dealership missed out on a solid deal due to the lack of coordination, communication, and poor customer service. Very disappointed with the experience at your establishment. One of the worst dealings with any dealerships i have had, and I have bought over 35 vehicles within the last 15 years. I will not be returning to your store, please remove my number from your system, and do not call again. 📵I would not recommend dealing with this organization. I am totally objective when it comes to sales departments being blamed for things out of their control, however the disorganization and lack of professionalism indicated to me that they were not in any way a trustworthy organization. My 11 year old son kept cmpparing the contrast in customer service overall. The attention to detail, organization, and customer based service from Mercedes compared to BMW. Was literally as opposite as it could be.100% I would never shop there again. I would be embarrassed to work there, and humiliated if I were the owner and had people who treated customers like this.
I recently purchased a CPO BMW from Ferman BMW and I’m completely satisfied with my transaction. I shopped around for about 6 weeks and Ferman BMW has the best customer service, selection and prices. The atmosphere in the dealership is very warm and welcoming with zero pushy salespeople. My sales representative Daniel Ruiz was so accommodating, patient and honest with all of my questions over the weeks of shopping. The general manager Mr. Karl Alvarez leads an awesome team and they were all so kind with my multiple test drives and visits. Thanks guys I really appreciate your patience and kindness.

Scott Simpson, was professional, knowledgeable. humorous and I had a outstanding experience. Exceeded all my expectations. Well trained professionals are hard to come by and even harder to keep. I highly recommend retention and a promotion commensurate with skill set demonstrated.
Difficult and incompetent team at Ferman. Very disorganized group of people from management to finance to sales. Would not do any business with the dealership again or recommend the location for your next car. Avoid the headaches and hassles and spend your hard earned money anywhere else where you will be appreciated.

On 12.07.2018 I requested information on a vehicle that was documented by Carfax as being serviced at their facility on 11.30.2018.Initially Nicole got back to me extremely quickly to let me know that the Sr Sales Manager was going to get back to me shortly. Its been almost a week, Ive followed up three times, and no one has responded to any of my contacts.Very disappointed.
I brought my X5 BMW in for a check-engine light being on...Cesar and the Service team found the problem and noticed some other major mechanical issues that needed to be addressed..I have an extended warrantee, and Cesar worked tirelessly with the warrantee company to ensure the covered issues were taken care of.I could not be happier with the outcome...Thank You Cesar and the whole Ferman BMW Service Department for a job well done!!!!!!!!
This review was written while sitting in the waiting room.Automated ... that’s the word for this place. It’s sad really ... my cars buying experience was great! No complaints.Now my car breaks weekly and they find it acceptable that have to come in and get service. They do “fix it”. But then it all falls apart.What’s funny is that I get texts while my car is in the shop asking about it LAST service and if I was satisfied.Well ... shocker I am not.No one seems to understand the issue.... if I got a rental care while it gets “fixed” that’s ok ...The service center needs an overhaul.While I understand BMW (as a company) has to make decisions about how this works ... the dealership is NOT helpful in this process.I am on my own to file my own lemon law paperwork. I even offered to pay to get this car out of my life ... apparently that is not an option either.It’s funny once they sell you a car they don’t want to sell you another one?It appears low tier and uneducated people are making informed decisions about how make a customer happy.If you want to drop big money on a car. Please don’t do it it here. Your happiness will turn into a frown and your life will be upside-down.These are my own personal opinions please do not materially rely on them to influence your decision. The parts department is terrible! Unless youve done their job for them and already researched the part number they will get it wrong. The old man in there is more interested in chain smoking than doing his job. After 2 attempts to order a part(ordered wrong both times) I went to bert Smith in st pete and the guys down there are incredibly helpful and actually enjoy their job. Stay away from ferman!!!
I recently went here to trade in my 2016 X6 for a 2020 X7. First of all they had a decent selection of the model I was looking for, so I was able to find exactly what I was looking for. We had Rosie as our sales rep and she was great! I also got, what I felt was a fair price for my trade in without any hassle.The process was fast and we walked out with a car I love and a great deal!I will be back when its time to upgrade again!
