My battery pretty much exploded!! Battery acid EVERYWHERE!! I got a jump and went to this store... thank god I did!!! They have a gem on their hands... Brian was determined to get the job done and get it done right! New battery put in AFTER he worked on getting the post that was stuck in the connection out.. I really appreciated him.. hope that store realizes what an amazing employee they have!! Courteous and knowledgeable!

The staff was beyond amazing! I needed a new battery and called 20 minutes before closing. They told me to come in and they would be happy to help. They stayed past closing to make sure my car was running correctly and installed a new battery. Brian helped us and walked my boyfriend and myself through everything he did. He was very informative and helped us tremendously. I will most definitely be coming back in the future because of the customer service. Thank you!

I have worked in customer service for over 25 years, Im currently and ICU nurse and know the importance of how a persons professionalism and empathy are very I portent in customer service. I had one of the best experiences here today thanks to staff member Christina (didnt get the first letter of her last name). Thanks to her I had all my issues resolved and will continue to shop at this Advance Auto Parts store. Wish there were more people like Christina in customer service. This store is better for having her here.

I need a kit for detecting an A/C R134a leak. First store did not have them but they checked and found a store just 3 miles away that did! This has happened before and the response is always the same team philosophy--we will find a nearby store that does or we will order it for you!

Weve been loyal Advance Auto Parts customers for a couple of decades now. We always receive the warmest greetings and customer service. I love the fact that there are younger guys working here that are eager to help people, rather than older guys that are short tempered and arrogant. Weve recently moved from our home store area that weve shopped at for the last 20 years. Its hard finding new good help in anything these days. When one of our vehicles was having a hard time starting one morning when we were on our way all the way to St Pete, we stopped in the Palm Harbor Advance where Dillon McKay took care of us. He tested the battery and alternator to diagnose that it was only the battery that needed replacement. We opted for the mid grade battery, but Dillon didnt let us leave without taking it upon himself to install an even better battery. Thats not just good technical skills... thats not just good customer service skills... thats going above and beyond. Its so good to see good people and a good company succeeding. Thank you guys!

Great service at this store, MOST IMPORTANTLY this Advance Auto is the only auto parts store from Palm Harbor to Largo that was able to help me out with the part for my truck. Every store I called told me either it was a dealer only item or they wouldnt have it for a few days and it was 10 to $15 extra freight charge, well when I called this Advance Auto and Dillon said yeah I can get the part and have it here by 10 the next day and it was only a quarter of the price, All the other stores quoted me, and there was no freight charge.Found my new go to auto parts store.

Great service! After the hurricane, some parts like batteries were scarce. They called around and found my part at a nearby location. They offered to send for the part but it was close so I drove. Both locations deserve 5 🌟s

I’m not sure if it is this advanced auto parts or the other one close by, I’ll leave a comment on both. I spoke to a wonderful, professional, and proficient young woman named V. (Cool name by the way). She took like 10-12 minutes helping me on the phone finding the clueless me find exactly what I need.

Customer service was horrible. I bought five gallons of oil because I relied on what the clerk was telling me, but that seemed like a bit much because my car only takes 5 gallons with an oil change. To find out that I only needed two. The clerk also told me I busted my radiator hose. Or I had a leak in my radiator when it just did not have water. I had explained to him that I just purchased the vehicle. I can only think of the money he would have cost me if I would have listened to his advice. Not only did all this happen but after I checked out with my 5 gallons of oil and a huge container of antifreeze plus the gas mixture to put in my fuel tank. He goes to show me where to put my oil in my engine and just walks out the door as Im trying to juggle a 5 gallon bucket of oil and like I had said earlier many other items. Poor customer service and advise at least in my case.

Great customer service! My sisters car, water hose busted, we changed it in the parking lot. The staff, manager, kept checking to see if we were ok. 15 minutes, water and coolant, and back on the road.

Evan guy! I needed transmission & power steering fluid for 2003 Ford Ranger. Evan did use his hands to get transmission fluid stocked above eye-level shelf. Power steering fluid on the bottom shelf, Evan used his foot to point out and tap on it, saying he was pretty sure thats what I needed as I was squatting down to look at them. He proceeded to the register. So, I told him I was not gonna get the one he tapped with his foot, got anther one, told him to put the one he had back down there, and demanded apology. He mumbled looking away from me. Back at the register, he looked at the screen and he wasnt sure as it stated transmission fluid maybe interchangeable. He was asking ME if it sounded kinda strange. I asked him to re-check the data base of Advance Auto and he said he did and told me he wouldnt used it unless he is sure. I told him to check again and he already did all the while he is looking at me like WTFUR kind of stock expression on his face. The clincher is that he told me to go on YOUTUBE & whatnot to make sure. So I take it Advance Auto is good-for-nothing!! Needless to say I was so pisswd off you dont want to know except for those few customers&other employees present at the time. So,AdvanceAuto, I am not making this up.I cant make this up. It happened around 2:30pm, Sunday, November 17th, 2019. Im sure you have video. So,there look it up and use it for employee training. Maybe thats standard practice for Millenial gen employees to use their feet to point things out for customers. Or, for non-white customers? In just asking. Just to be fair, there are good people at this location. But, Evan is the worst. I shall never step in there again, or maybe Advance Auto can let me know Evans work(?)schedule to avoid his presence. Consolation is that he does not work in food service industry........at least not yet. What a day it was. I would love to see him doing all his task using his feet, though.

People were great, their computer system is a joke. I was back and forth all day, the computer had the wrong parts listed for my vehicle even giving them my vin. After a few hours of the wrong parts and no solution, I went to another auto part store. I gave Oriley my vin and they gave me all the right parts first shot.

Came in to buy some coolant and oil...asked a few questions about my brake lights staying on. I am not a car guy..but they told me what the issue mostly likely was..the brake switch. A $20 part that could have cost me hundreds to replace had I brought it into a mechanic.. its a European vehicle. I changed it out myself in 10 minutes.

Came in for ac issue. Was completely ignored the whole time while i was looking at recharge cans and making it obvious i was confused. With no offer of help I decided that I would ask for help. The guy I asked for help pretty much said he had no idea about the cans he was selling 2 feet from his counter and didnt try to look into my concerns. I spent another ten minutes reading the cans while without service... In the end solved my simple ac problem but without anyones help.
