I got a wheel alignment from here a cpl weeks back & I was still experiencing issues with my alignment so I inspected the vehicle myself only to find out the front tie rod end links as well as the rear stabilizer end link bars where shot on the vehicle all around. Seeing this first hand I confirmed no safety inspection was done prior to releasing the vehicle back to me. You would think that would be mandatory before releasing the vehicle back to a customer. The technician listed on the paperwork is 10 Luis. I would think an establishment such as firestone would have better work ethic & procedures to follow to ensure the customers safety. I would not recommend anyone use this establishment in fear of you or your family members safety.The funny thing is I kept getting emails from firestone immediately after the work was done asking me to take a survey on my experience.Well needless to say a cpl weeks later in my experience I will have to give this establisment 2 thumbs down.

I returned to this store after having used them to align my previous car.Manny and the Alignment technician were able to diagnose a worn(but not blown) ball joint and bushing in my Audi S6. They saved me time by letting me know prior to attempting an alignment, and I was actually able to get them replaced under Audi warranty because of their knowledge. I will definitely be back to them for an alignment soon.THEY EVEN HAVE AN IN GROUND RACK.

Went with my friend to pick up his car... They were very disorganized & at first thought they lost his key. It ended up being in the car. He paid $10 for an exam of the vehicle but the guy couldnt tell him which part of the paperwork pertained solely to the front left tire accident!

They were closed one hour before the time it was supposed to be so yeah IDK 😐 what they were doing but I left

Worst experience ever. Was at shop and told other day I can come to do wheels alignment but when I get there one lazy fat guy took him 10 minutes to get to me even no one were there, very slow with the business and he said oh Im sorry but we cant make it today and need to set up for Monday. This was Saturday around 1pm - 2pm. That lazy guy just went straight to seat again since he dont care to gain more business. Will never ever enter this shop even was customer before bit they lost me forever.Big liers at this shop. Very poor management.Save yourself trouble and go elsewhere you wont regret it trust me on this.

Firestone Employees are friendly and they will explain to you anything thats really wrong with your car. I trust them with my cars, they do brakes, oil change, tire rotation. Check out this shop you wont regret it.

I made 2 calls to this firestone to see if they could do my a/c recharge. I even spoke to a manager who said they could do it. When i got there i was informed they could not. This is why i dont go to Firestone

Dropped off the car for an alignment and picked up with damage. Dent and paint crack. And of course they said that they cannot do anything. Just stay away from this place it’s not worth it. You damage someone’s property at least apologize and do something but the manager didn’t even said sorry he just said we can’t do anything

I made an appointment online at Firestone, drove all the way there, and then was told I didn’t have an appointment. I showed the employee my confirmation number. I was in the correct place at the correct time but he still told me that they didn’t have time to change my tires. I didn’t even get an apology for what was clearly their mistake.So, I took my business down the street to Midas, where they actually value my time. They’re changing my tires now - I didn’t even need an appointment...Moral of the story: Forget Firestone. Go to their more convenient/customer friendly competitors instead.

Manny helped me fix a couple of my tires recently. I had the firestone tire insurance on my new tires (one of them had popped). He was really nice and efficient. I was very happy with the overall experience.

First of all, the customer service here is excellent. They gave me a free ride when my car was being worked on, and the online appointment setting is easy and convenient. They are very friendly and helpful, especially one of the girls, I think Sue. Ive been here 3 or so times for new tires, battery, inspection, and oil changes. However, I do not know a lot about cars. After one inspection they give me a print-out recommending $1,200 worth of repairs. I wasnt even having problems with the car in the first place. That was over a year ago, and my cars been fine since. I will get oil changes here, but anything else Im getting a second opinion.

Called and made an appointment to get my AC checked at 10am for the following day. Get there at 9.30am and was informed that my appointment was for 7am and theres nothing they can do. Dan was extremely rude and had an attitude since I walked in. Its unfortunate that the front guys have their heads up their a$$ because the techs in back are trustworthy. I wouldnt go here again just because of Dan. Not my fault he hates his life, but dont take it out on the customers. Ill take my business elsewhere.

Lost faith in this place today! I have used them for a long time and will not be back. I came for simple alignment a few weeks ago..absolutely no issues before. Just routine alignment..now my car has issues. Here for them to put car in air a 3rd time to get it right. They are now coming up with other issues that didnt exist BEFORE they touched it UNREAL! These EXPERIENCED techs had my car in the air 3 different times looking it over..even told me 2nd time suspension was ok..now there are issues?? Shady!! Its a shame I went in for a routine alignment and now this....I urge future customers to be weary and hopefully go else where. I know I will!

I scheduled an online appointment to change the oil and have received email with a confirmation. After few hours I was about to leave for my appointment when I decide to give them a call just in case. A gentleman on the phone let me know that apparently the time has already been booked for someone else and offered to reschedule during the week. I wish they had let me know in advance so I could have plan my day better. Do not rely on their scheduling system. I am glad I decided to call.

Took my car in for new tires and an alignment and it was easy, fast and affordable. Bob Dickens is the guy to go to with ANY questions regarding your car. He is an expert mechanic and the manager and will do his absolute best to advise you on whatever issue your car has and how to fix it. He is as honest as they come. I travel from Chicago proper to come here because thats how much I trust Bob and his staff.

I would like to commend the store manager, Bob Dickens for doing a fantastic job in making sure my car was ready for our long road trip. Not only did Bob give me a great deal on tires, he also gave me a great deal on brakes and a few other items my car was in need of.The service was great, the price was more than fair...compared to the dealership. It was a real pleasure dealing with him and I will certainly take my car back.

I’m an essential worker during this Covid-19 crisis. This specific location is a joke. I’ve stopped there few months back because I was in the area and caught a flat. I was there right as they opened. Not a single car in the parking lot and I was told that they can’t help me at that moment because of the appointments they had. I sat in my car for 30 minutes to see if other people show up. Nobody ever showed up. Today, sadly I picked up another nail in the same area and decided to give this place another try. The response I got was “we can’t look at it now but can if you leave the car with us”. Seriously? I drove down the street to Discount Tire today and they took me in right away. I drove to NTB the first time I was rejected at firestone and NTB took me in right away. Considering that there is so much competition in the area they shouldn’t reject customers. Don’t waste your time with this location they are a waste of time

Great experience, Jordan here had helped me with several of my vehicles and even some friends and family. Very professional, courteous, and overall trustworthy when it came time to bring a few necessary repairs to my attention. I didnt wait any longer then promised, also loved the showroom is well lit creating a clean environment. I would recommend them especially Jordan to anybody seeking automotive repairs or advice.

Brad is a good, knowledgeable mechanic who knew his stuff and did a thorough job. The service writer Sue Dickens was especially personable during the quoting process. Firestone was our third quote and we had confidence from the start, over the others, that they had our best interests in mind when the discussed our alternatives. They took the time to prepare exact quotes pricing out the parts as well as the respective labor for each alternative. (The other places all gave us estimates with a $200-$400 price range difference without going to the trouble of even looking up the parts...which, in the final analysis is what cost them to not earn our business.)

Ive been servicing my car with Firestone for close to 10 years and have never had a poor experience until now. This was my first and last time at the Palatine location. Augustine is the store manager and is not qualified in any way.First of all there is no one manning the lobby and taking in customers. It took close to five minutes for Augistine to come out and acknowledge me and another customer. When he finally took my car in I told him that I would wait in store. An hour and a half later he came out to tell me that I need a coolant flush and break fluid. It took another hour and a half for him to come out and tell me that I need new brakes. I asked him how much longer and he told me 45 minutes. By this point it was noon and i had been there since 9AM. So I went across the street to get some food. Came back two hours later and my car was still inside the shop.Poor Joshua had to deal with me after that and kindly offered $15 off the coolant service. Hes been with the company for eight years and deserves to run a store over the dingbat they call Augustine.For my next oil change Im driving 45 minutes to Algonquin, where they have their act together.

Very professional staff. I understand there can be a wait at times but when you find a shop you can trust, its worth it. Fair prices and the work is thoroughly explained to me before I make a decision to move forward.

Recently I had new brakes and rotors installed. Now, prior to setting up the appointment, I called different shops, only to be quoted $100-200 more than what firestone had quoted me. After the 5th estimate, the choice was obviously clear. I spoke to Jordan, who was very kind and courteous. He answered all of my questions and explained things thoroughly. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the service that I received. I will continue to have my vehicle serviced at this location for years to come.Also, a special thanks to Jordan for being honest and providing an excellent customer experience.

I love that they have tire repair coverage you can buy for your tires! This has helped me pay little to nothing on flat tire repairs!

Great service. I went in for an alignment, and when they put my car on the rack they found everything was within spec. They offer free alignment checks, so they didnt charge me.

Be careful. They are very non-chalant and evasive about their pricing. Service costs arent listed anywhere at the counter.Asked three different times for the cost of a service, and received a different response each time. Price wasnt very high, but they lost my trust immediately because of this, so I decided to take my business elsewhere. Customer service wasnt that good either, especially after being questioned about the pricing.Cant speak to the quality of the work there, but I can say there are many other shops in the area who are much more honest and upfront about their business.

I went to this Firestone shop after getting a nail in one of my tires on a road trip. Patching up the tire was free of charge because of the road hazard warranty I bought. They failed to balance the tire after putting a patch on. This caused the vehicle to have a shake which went away after a different Firestone balanced the tire. They also tried to get me to replace the cabin air filter even though my vehicle model doesnt even come with one and tried to tell me to flush my coolant after I had recently done it. I caution anyone that goes here to get a second opinion on any extra work they say needs to be done.

I started going to Firestone after they were the only game in town around me who had tires my size in stock at an affordable price when I needed it. Now they also get all my easy regular servicing business also - they are inexpensive and no frills - but it works for me that way.

IF YOU VALUE YOUR LIFE DONT COME HERE !!!!! Car was in fine before they checked it. Was just supposed to get rear pads but they started trying to con my bf saying more work was needed when it wasnt. He asked him to just put the wheels back on well go somewhere else, the mechanics talked amgonst themselves, and gave it back. We pulled out and our car was wobbling all over the place. It was scary, one of the wheels couldve popped out while driving. Took it to another firestone and they said that this place didnt even out the weights. They knowingly and purposely sabatoged our car....we couldve had an accident.Augie was the only one who seemed to know what he was doing and helped to try and fix their mistake, however their distract manager denies everything and is blaming us for her employees.

STAY AWAY!! This place will rip you off in a second! Tried to replace a caliper working perfect because it is only 6 months old and the laughed when I said why would I replace a brand new caliper. Dan the guy I worked with was an obvious con artist. Complete waste of my time.I drive my car and now wobbles almost undrivable! I take it to firestone in Lake Zurich asking them to re e a look why it wobbles. They said whoever put these new tires on did not put weights on right said 3 of them wrong. All tires were weighted perfect but Dan it seems told the worker putting tires on to knock off the weights which is not easy to happen on accident on 1 tire let alone 3. Manager was not in till next day I talked to him in morning and admitted he has bad apples in his store he is trying to get out but his district manager will not help him and he is frustrated. So he said he would pay to have it fixed and get my breaks fixed somewhere else since I will never use that store again. That would have been $1100 and he said he would pay it. Then I find out they put a whole in my caliper as well that was Perfect before they touched my car. I felt bad for this guy because he is an honest good person surrounded by con artist so I only got pads on rear and the caliper and not the rest of breaks and rotors that was supposed to be replaced. I wanted this district manager Lynn Duenas to step up and do her job and compensate me for her employees wrecking my car obviously on purpose maliciously. In short it cost them $146 for my pads and about $180 for the caliper they broke. So really the 146 of parts they did not break. District managers calls me asking me questions sounding like she wants to punish the manager for doing right thing but then admits over and over they obviously sabotaged my car on purpose and was sorry and wanted to see what she could do to get rest of my breaks fixed at her other location. She admitted over And over she should help her manager make this location better not against him and that this type of con artist employees are her fault for not getting them out. Calls me back telling me the manager did more than he should have and they will not honor what she said in fixing the rest of my brakes and that is when I realized she is a con herself was very rude on doing so like I did something wrong. I see why so many locations for firestone have these reputations in the area.

Most horrible experience ever...should have stick with Discount tire in a first place. They sold me wrong tires for my vehicle. Non stop noise and shakes. When i went back to see whats the problem they said that the tires are not for my vehicle and asked 140$ more to replace it. I am not a hater or anything but this company puts their profit in the first place. Thanks but no thanks! Updated, if I can leave 0 stars I would.

Very unhappy, took my car here for brake work and some other things the bill was 1k, 2 weeks later brakes so loud you can hear me coming took it back they said issue was I need brakes Hello you did them 2 weeks ago! ok now 3 weeks later 3rd time back here had to miss work same issue, they didnt offer a refund just we will look at it, worst experience ever!

What a bad experience, I had stopped in earlier during my lunch hour to ask about getting an uber inspection on my vehicle. I was told that there was about a 1/2 hour wait. I noticed they closed at 7pm, said thank you Ill come back after work. I stopped back in at about 6:10 didnt get talked to for about 25 minutes . When asked what I needed I stated I was there to have my vehicle inspected for Uber. The woman looked at the time and said I dont think we can do this today, i asked why not. She claimed that an inspection takes 2 hours. Hard to understand how uber green stations and every other location claims it takes 30 mins. I get it people want to end their workday and go home. But this is a service center and you need to take care of your customers. Not bring up details to why something takes longer then it should. Help people with what they come in and thats how you earn a customer. My $19 is worth much more then you think.

The first time i came here the older guy was sooo nice! I loved it. He had great service and was honest. You can tell he liked his job and it seemed like he was the owner because he took such pride in his work. So i chose to come here again instead of my usual firestone in Glen Ellyn (which is excellent). The middle aged lady was the one who managed my car. She seemed like the store office manager. She was dressed in unprofessional street clothes talking to the other guy about stuff while im right there. It seemed like a financial issue with the store. Then she tried to upsell me on services. She even forgot to call me back on the status of my car to begin with and I ended up dropping in on my own. I went to another store in the end and they told me she was exaggerating a little bit. I ended up paying less somewhere else. Bummer really liked that guy. If you are the owner you should fire that unprofessional lady. She is cramping your style and making your store too generic.

I had Blizzak change over with TPMS kit at this store, and the day after the service, my tires started to lose 5-10 PSI pressure. They failed to clean my rims even after I instructed them to do so. I called and they did not even make room for an appointment to correct the issue. Finally, another Firestone corrected the issue. Im glad I did not have any accident. Overall, I am not satisfied with the service I received and will appreciate an apology from this store.

Went there, spent 3 hours for an oil change and a new tire. Left to find I had no windshield washer fluid. Was looking for a fleet place for our company vans but I guess its not this place. (Disappointed)
