This tire store was the cleanest place of business I have ever been to including most restaurants. The fellow that helped me, was very knowledgeable and eager to show respect. E checked my tires and inflated one to the proper rating and no charge. Asked me to monitor the pressure and let him know if I needed any help with this just make an appointment.

This is best service station hands down! The service here is outstanding. They do not try to get you to do any work that is not needed. I trust everyone here completely!

My issue was resolved quickly the same day as drop off. Did not need to make an appointment and they have them available. Cost was fair and parts are the best quality.

All of the mechanics and employees at Palatine shell have always gone out of their way to be helpful and informative when getting any service done to my car. The guys at Palatine Shell are diligent to explain what work is most important to the health of my car, and have always made sure to provide me with options and recommendations. On a busy week, they’re upfront with scheduling so I know how long to expect to be in the shop for, and have even gone so far as to offer me a ride if I need a lift so a nearby address! On the occasion that I’ve needed help with air in my tires, one of the guys is always available to assist (I make sure to tip $5 considering it IS a self-device air station). The waiting room is friendly and inviting with a large collection of snacks, coffee, and hot cocoa. The family business atmosphere is my favorite part about supporting this local business. Take a look on the walls of the station and you’ll see generations of informative and friendly guys who seriously know a thing or two about cars. I by no means am a “good” car owner, but Palatine Shell keeps my four wheels moving and safe for me to drive.

This is the best place to get your vehicle repaired. These guys are very good mechanics. They are honest and always give you a fair price. I have been going here since I was a teen. Ron and Tony are great.

I usually take my vehicle there for the yummies oil in the Amsoil oil filter and its an excellent product Id recommend it to anybody to use in their vehicles trucks thats the main primary reason that I go there they are very honest and reasonably priced

Timothy- Customer came in after trying to work on the rear brakes of his own car. His statement to us was to check the brakes because he had a noise after his own work. We immediately noticed upon pulling the car in for inspection that the customer had left the lug nuts loose on his right rear wheel and was also missing one. We continued to pull the wheels to check for any other mistakes that were made when the customer worked on his own car. The total charge was $56 for a half hour of labor pulling the wheels, checking the brakes and replacing the missing lug nut. This charge coincides with our hourly labor rate of $97 per hour, one of the lowest rates in the area. Sorry for your confusion Timothy.
