They have not been able to finish our cabinet and the installation has been left behind incomplete over 6 weeks due to fabrication issues. The company is unable to give a firm date on when to complete the job and continues asking for more time. This is an average kitchen with a Two Day installation the most. The craftsmanship is not close to what is on display at their showrooms plus the material used is not fully plywood which we had asked for. There seems to be many organizational issues with the company. Everyone is a manager, but there are no actual workers to do the job. We contacted Rick our salesperson who is currently working in Sarasota and asked for help. His response was After the sale is complete, you should be in contact with manufacturing; basically, no accountability here. our experience with manufacturing has been few managers who like to talk, but dont have anyone reliable to do their work. There seems to be lacking experience building cabinets, it is obvious they are in experimental stage with zero Quality Control (QA). During conversation it became apparent there are more customers with similar issues and the company still trying to figure out what to do. We have paid GAIA $17K, but after being without kitchen since May, we have to hire another company to finish the job. I hope nobody else falls in this trap.

I met Rick at the Home show in Daytona. He’s very pleasant and polite. We set up an appointment for an estimate. He came on time and explained everything to me and even save me a little bit of money by pointing out some things that I wanted done. We had previously hired another company to replace our countertops and carpet. After the date of install had been confirmed, they called demanding more money. I was infuriated. I then placed an inquiry on GAIA Stone Gallerys website and Assef called almost immediately. He took my measurements and gave me a quote that was almost half of what the original company charged. I then went to the GAIA Stone Gallery-Orlando showroom and selected my granite and purchased carpet from Jose. Both granite and carpet have now been installed and looks beautiful. This project took ten (yes 10) days from the moment I met with GAIA Stone Gallery-Orlando to completion. I could not be happier. From selection to measurement to installation, our job was handled very professionally and everyone was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend GAIA Stone Gallery-Orlando to everyone who cares about excellent quality and workmanship.

We had the pleasure of working with Gaia on a project recently and it was a great process start to finish. Once complete I will.post some images to showcase their work, but to the reviews mentioning slow response, let it be known they are moving locations. It took us about a week to get on their schedule, but once we got on we went from template to installation in less than two weeks. We already had a slab on hold with them because early in the project found they had a perfectly sized and beautiful super white quartzite slab. While they may not want me to advertise this, they held it on site for several months due to our time frames slipping and they did so at no cost. They used laser measuring technology (I actually dont know if it was lasers...as far as Im concerned it was magic) during template creation on site and were vastly more sophisticated than the last installer I worked with. In addition, our project was in Saint Augustine and they were significantly under the other sub we received and estimate from in Jax in terms of cost. I will work with them again without hesitation next time I build or remodel. Glorious pictures forthcoming.

The worst nightmare hire this company. Lie after lie all the time. They turn down my kitchen to build my new one. Ive been without a kitchen for a month, waiting and every time I call is a new excuse.

The collection is not large, but is limited to very beautiful and rare selections which are not seen from other distributors in the area. Price is competitive. I don’t ever take the time to write reviews but my experience was nothing short of great. They had the granite slab I wanted and at a great price. They made the process very easy after going to two other companies that don’t disclose prices on the slabs when you go there. Look no further these people get it done !

One of the worse experiences I have had with a company. Does not own up to their errors. They are good to you until they get the sale.We were getting a custom vanity done with these guys and I was very concerned about the plumbing being correct as the vanity had an open concept look. Breno told me that he would have a guy come out to meet my plumber. After we put in the deposit, he called back and said his guy would not meet the plumber and to just give our plumber the measurements from the design.So we pay to get the plumbing work done prior to installing the vanity and then we also paid to get the drywall done (because of the open concept). Turns out the hole in the middle is no longer visible (which was not communicated previously) and so I paid for drywall repairs that were not necessary.Then comes the day to install, and the drawers are not made to the measurements that HE gave me which he then tries to blame on us! So we send him the proof that we did things based off of the measurements he gave us. He agrees that it was their mistake and gets the drawers remade. The side cabinet is also wrong and hits the drawers when opened so they had to remake this part as well.Theres currently a pandemic right now so getting a hold of anyone to do anything takes some time. We finally get someone to do the electrical, and the mirrors and now are ready for sink installation. The guy agrees to do this on a Saturday. When he comes he sees that the hole that was made on the countertop (also done by gaia) is not correct and the pipe will be hitting the drawer under the sink. We immediately call Gaia and he acts like he will do something about it. We send pictures to him as well. Come Monday or Tuesday, we call. We leave a message for Breno. We also send him texts telling him he needs to take care of this or we will write a bad review about our horrible experience.Finally I call from a different number (two weeks later) and get a hold of him at the office. He tells me his phone is broken and thats why he didnt respond and that this is the first time hes hearing of this. I told him thats interesting, because one, I was there when my husband called him on Saturday AND the messages show as read on his phone that he doesnt have. I send him pictures via email and he tells me he will call the crew that did the install. He asks me why it took long to get this done, and I explain to him the delays (because of the current crisis) and that as soon as I knew it was an issue, I contacted him. I have also found another person to fix the drawers, and I ask for the partial refund for that amount to cover the costs. He calls me back 20 minutes later and tells me to do what I got to do because its been too long (approx 6 weeks mind you) and that they cant do anything about it.ALSO, the original design did not have handles, and the sketch he made, replicated this. A few weeks into production he asked which handles we were going to pick for the design. I told him that the design does not have handles. He says he cannot do it without handles unless it has a push mechanism on the drawers which he did not charge us for. I told him his original sketch did not have handles on it and he told me he doesnt remember the original sketch and so I sent him a picture of HIS sketch. He then admits that he made a mistake and would have to charge us for the push mechanism to which we agreed.THESE GUYS JUST DO NOT TAKE ANY RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ERRORS THEY MAKE--> OF COURSE THEY WERE PAID IN FULL BEFORE THE SINK GOT INSTALLED. and are now washing their hands of the situation. I will be doing a chargeback as well.Sleezy and horrible customer service. STAY AWAY.

This place sell low quality garbage...defective slabs with cracks and imperfections. They get it for peanuts from Brazil and India... then they sell it for more than triple the price. They pay their workers very low wages and do not pay overtime,so imagine what their customers are getting. All the reviews are fake self produced. Stay away from these crooks. They will tell you anything to sell their low quality product...straight out lies to your face.

I am leaving my original posting below but I must change my 5 star rating with United Slab of Orlando down to a 2 Star rating. Just a day after I had written a wonderful review, which was asked of me by the sales associate Rodrigo, I was completely dismayed and frustrated to learn that the primary slabs we had on hold were sold to someone else. To explain this scenario my wife and I traveled two hours on a Saturday to United Slab. We had two choices picked out to be held through Tuesday. Monday was MLK Day and United Slab had trouble reaching my fabricator. I was contacted Tuesday saying that my fabricator had not finalized a plan and to please touch base with both parties asap. I spoke and texted at length with Rodrigo at United Slab confirming what slab option we 100% wanted to move forward with both on Monday and Tuesday. I had texted again by the latter part of Tuesdays business day to confirm that my fabricator had said she had spoken to them Tuesday morning and my slabs were going to be on hold, and to let the sales contact know that if for any reason things did not get finalized to please understand that we absolutely had our slab of choice and wanted it held until everything could be finalized worst case first thing Wednesday morning. By Wednesday morning the two slabs of our top choice material was sold by the end of Tuesday. I was told this is how the business works and that the sales reps hands were tied. I do believe that United Slab had very nice material and they are knowledgable about these items though I have to say our shock to find out that no effort was made to let us know another buyer had come into place or to give us the consideration of a phone call, email or text giving us an ultimatum, we gladly would have put down a deposit payment but were never given this option.Original Post: My wife and I had an incredible experience working with United Slab in Orlando, Fl. We live in Gainesville, Fl and did not love the selection available in our area both in price point and quality. We were introduced to United slab through our countertop rendering and purchasing coordinator Anjie of Granite Wishes in Summerfield, Fl. Anjie orders regularly with United Slab and suggested that we should turn to them to find our best option for quality material. Most stone slab companies require you to go through a design, fabrication and install team so if you are looking for some help Anjie at Granite Wishes can help you out.We had called United Slab late on a Friday afternoon hoping to come see them over the weekend as it is a good two hours each way. The team at United Slab is wonderful. We were told to call a specialist for the company named Rodrigo and while they are available on Saturdays for appointment only visit, Rodrigo took the time out of his weekend to meet with my wife and I on his day off.From the moment we first said hello we could tell instantly that we were in great hands. Rodrigo is a fantastic individual to work with for any of your questions and expert advice needed to make the best decision. He patiently guided us through all of their options and took time to explain where each material came from, the quality of material from one slab of stone to the next and sometimes back and forth while we were comparing our options.If you are looking for incredible quality for your kitchen or bathroom countertops our family highly recommends the drive anywhere throughout the state of Florida down to United Slab of Orlando. What was more important to us than the quality of the material was the knowledge and friendliness of their sales expert Rodrigo.
