This is an A + company. I came to them because a friend recommended them to me and in fact I immediately realized that they are the best. I remodeled my kitchen, bathrooms, and closet and the experience was absolutely amazing. They were on time from date one when they came to measure and throughout the entire process. The Design service was a plus where you can visualize how everything would looks like and they treat you with a lot of professionalism. We needed to replace kitchen cabinets, add more cabinets, increase the height of a wall and cut down and increase the size of our bar counter. Everywhere we went we were quoted really high prices for all that we needed done and it would take 2 or 3 months. When we met Maria, she went through all the selections with us and explained the remodel schedule in detail. The price she quoted us was reasonable and included things we werent getting elsewhere. The remodel began a week later and Maria was great at making sure each contractor was scheduled so there was no time wasted.From demolition to install everyone was very professional and courteous (Carlos and Andres). I was very impressed with their attention to detail and high level of service. The kitchen was finished within 2 weeks of start date. We are delighted with our new kitchen and highly recommend MKD Expo. Thank you MKD team for doing such a beautiful job.

After looking for few estimates for my kitchen remodeling i found this company by there billboards adds, and although my kitchen was not the size they advertised it was definitely much cheaper than all other estimates i already had. A neighbor who rehabs homes recommended My Kitchen Design Expo after Home Depot gave me a near heart attack with their labor only quote to redo my kitchen and two bathrooms. Maria made time for me on a Saturday with my neighbor and based on the information and measurements derived from my meetings with Home Depot drew up a schematic and provided a rough quote for material. She came to my house to view and finalize the design and I met with her the following weekend to go over pricing and sign the paperwork to begin. Let me say her pricing for labor AND material was $3000 less than Home Depots labor only price! But that was only the beginning of the good news.Carlos was assigned to project manage the install along with his two fellow team members all of whom were polite and hard-working. They showed up on 9/16 to start the demo. Considering I worked from home in my kitchen I was a little concerned about being so close to the work but there were no problems whatsoever - especially since I own a noise-cancelling headset. Whenever the power needed to be turned off or loud power tools needed to be turned on, Carlos would check with me first to make sure it didn’t interfere with my work. One night they even stayed past 8 PM.All of the cabinets were in boxes and assembled at my house and were one-half inch plywood with soft close doors. I opted for off-white with shaker style cabinets, and the cabinet and bathroom light fixture installs were completed on 9/19. The two medicine cabinet doors and one side of the pantry needed replacement due to some imperfections and these were reordered with no hesitation by Maria.The countertop person - Mauricio - came on 9/19 in the afternoon to measure and estimated the countertops could be installed on 9/27. I had chosen granite for the kitchen and quartz for the bathrooms. I got a call on 9/23 asking if it was okay to install the countertops on 9/25 two days early! Carlos came back the next day on 9/26 and installed the plumbing fixtures and bathroom mirrors plus the replacement material also came in that day so he could replace. Plus my new gas stove arrived that morning and Carlos was able to hook that up for me also.We went thru a punch list of minor items to be fixed like cabinet doors being too close to the frame when opening or shelving that needed to be strengthened and Carlos fixed everything listed. Carlos’ team bagged up all the debris so I would be able to easily mop and vacuum afterwards. As Carlos was leaving he let me know if any issues came up in regards to the install to not hesitate to contact him which was comforting to know.From start of install to finish was less than two weeks! With any install you expect some problems to arise like first installing the bathroom light fixtures too low so that when the medicine cabinet door opened it would hit the light fixture which I share the blame on for not noticing until after the lights were installed. Carlos didn’t hesitate to change the location of the light fixture higher up. Another challenge was when the medicine door opened it would – once the mirror was installed – hit the mirror. Carlos was able to find a hinge that stopped the backward swing of the door to 1-2 inches before the mirror. In other words it’s not whether you have issues during any install but how those issues are resolved and Carlos and his team were perfection in that regard.Anyone considering My Kitchen Expo should not hesitate to use them as their customer service is phenomenal and as a former Project Manager myself, I know how challenging and stressful any project can be. My Kitchen Expo is the standard by which all companies should follow in regards to customer satisfaction. My highest recommendation is given without hesitation. You will not regret your decision to use My Kitchen Expo!

We decided to upgrade our kitchen and after some shopping around we ended up talking to Maria at My Kitchen Design Expo. She came to our house the same day to take measurements. Since that day everything went as smooth as it can be. Great customer service and great price.

Our kitchen suffered significant water damage and the cabinets needed to be replaced. After several visits from other companies, we chose MKD because of the tools they had at the moment of their visit to our home and their consultation just felt more relatable and understanding of what we needed vs wanted. Maria and her team of experts were very professional and courteous. Maria was very thorough during our meeting, tour and demo and understood clearly how important this was to us, both financially and aesthetically. We had many concerns/questions and she addressed all of them with no rush at all even though she seem very busy. Even now after the work has been completed, she took the time to make a video and send it to us about how to operate some of the cabinetry. She went over the entire contract with us in detail, making sure we fully understood and were comfortable with all. Excellent service to have.The cabinet team came in first and before they began demolishing, they went over everything with us on what to expect. They even asked if we wanted to keep any of the old cabinets because they were going to destroy them. Very nice gesture. After demolishing the old cabinets, Carlos, the cabinet lead installer, called us to show us the water damage and thankfully it was not as bad as what we expected. Once again, he told us exactly what to expect. Very insightful tool to share with customers; no surprises. They made the necessary repairs and installed the cabinets. Left it prepped for the countertop team. However, we did notice many issues that we informed Carlos about and he wasted no time and wrote everything down to assure it was taken care of. It was well taken care of.Moon Stone Renovations, LLC, was the countertop team. They came in as scheduled and moved quickly with the installation. There were more concerns and issues with this installation than the cabinets. However, the owner himself, Mauricio, came out to see the issues and made sure everything was as we expected it to be. He understood the cost and made it known. We were impressed that as busy as Mauricio was with other work, he still took time from his day to come over from miles away to take care of us. Customer service that even well established companies today do not have or care to use.The whole process took about 15 business days from the day the demo began. Worth the wait.I highly recommend MKD to anyone looking to have their kitchen fixed, upgraded or new, because to us, MKD shows they care very much about their clients and customers as they do about their business. They understand and see things through the eyes of the customer and they have that understanding and experience of what you may be looking for. Be it type, color, functionally, aesthetically and more. I am very happy with the end results.

Expensive! My Kitchen design expo has several billboards in the orlando area that advertise their services to be just under $3,000 for kitchen cabinets and granite countertops . However, you will soon find out that the $2,995 price tag is for a kitchen thats typically found in an efficiency apartment and not the kitchen of a typical homeowner. It may be cheaper to do your own measurements, hire a cabinet installer, and look up granite shops. Millswork is the company subcontracted by my kitchen design expo to install cabinets and they did a professional job installing the cabinets. I think the overall price would have been cheaper if I had not chosen to hire a third party to do the work. If you were not lured by the under price billboard then my kitchen design expo should be a good fit for you and your family.

We have had a couple kitchens remodeled in our rental properties by My Kitchen Design Expo. They do an amazing job and the kitchens always look beautiful. The prices are very fair, the work is done quickly and the office is so nice and helpful. We look forward to getting more kitchens remodeled by them in the future!

We where pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cabinets and pleased with the professional installation. Purchased new cabinets and had them installed. Very quick process from start to finish.

I wish I could give this place a zero. The lack of customer service was beyond my comprehension. I contacted Maria about 6 weeks before I wanted to start my project. She asked for my address to come and do measurements. I sent it and didn’t hear from her for weeks. I understand things get lost sometimes so I reached back out to her about a month later. She told me I never sent my address. So I sent it again and forwarded the same message I sent the previous month.After that, she scheduled an appointment for an estimate on Friday at 1:00pm. I emailed back accepting the appointment and she said ok. This was all done on Tuesday. On Thursday, I did not receive a confirmation text or email but no biggie. I assumed she would message me Friday before she came. Friday at 1:00pm. I didn’t receive a message or phone call to state that she would be late. So, I decided to call her at 1:15pm. I said, “Hello, just making sure we’re still on for the day.” Maria says, “YOU NEVER GAVE ME YOUR NUMBER TO CONFIRM!” I told her my number was in the email and asked if an email confirmation wasn’t a real confirmation? She said, “It is. But I would have to check the email because you never gave me your number to confirm and we already came and left. We’re back at the office.” (I’m thinking, 15 minutes after my appointment, you’re back at the office? Ok.) I asked, “Came where? Here?” She said they were in my city but because I never sent my number (which was in my email) they couldn’t come to my appointment. We are going to have to reschedule after she checks the email. Basically insinuating that I didn’t give her my number.My issue is even if I didn’t give you my number it is YOUR job to follow up with the customer and take down all information ahead of time. Not to blame the customer. Also, the customer is always right. First rule of great customer service. I guess they do not value that here. She did not sound like she wanted to fix the issue. She should’ve sent someone else back out to do the estimate that same day especially since the error was on their part. Nope. Those words were never uttered from her mouth. When we got off the phone I sent a screenshot of my previous email with my telephone number and she never responded.

Hands down the best place to get your cabinets countertops, and designs done. Affordable prices with absolutely no shortcuts. Marias design experience helped us transform our outdated kitchen we hated into our dream kitchen. Her installer Rafael is an extreme perfectionist. He is super clean, neat, and organized. It was a pleasure having him in our home. I spent several days just going over design and layout with Maria, she always was happy to sit down and make any changes. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PLACE AND BE AWARE!!! We had cabinets installed in May, and are still not completed!!! Some of the drawers do not have the silent closures, and actually fall out when you open them. We have doors thats lame shut, that are also without the silent closures. We have shelves uninstalled. Maria was happy to take our $8000 cash for these beautiful cabinets. She owes us money for the backslash we paid for, but ended up opting out of, BUT she wants to make it difficult to give us the money back, knowing I am the only one who is able to come and pick the check up because my fiance is working 7 days a week. Oh, did I mention the crown molding we paid for too and didnt get?? Apparently our cabinets are too high and cannot have crown molding after all, so the installer put caulking above it, which has already separated from the ceiling and is cracking. Probably will never see that refund either! This place is a scam, Absolutely terrible service all the way around. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!

They made a mistake in the order and did not want to fix their mistake. They claimed they had video proof showing we chose the incorrect product and she never provided the proof because it did not exist. Now we are stuck with something that we never ordered because she refuses to acknowledge she made a mistake in the ordering process. Our first order sheet was lost and she had to make a new one and still refuses to take responsibility for the mistake. Was impolite over the phone, raising her voice and saying for customers like you we have cameras but failed to show video evidence.Again your reply proves my point, shows your lack of professionalism by responding in caps lock through whatever device you are using to respond to this review. And if I choose to come out in defense of my parents I have every right to do so especially if the person they are doing business with is not offering a viable solution. So much video evidence that you fail to provide yet again. If you believe you are correct then provide the actual video and audio of you showing them the actual handle proving what they chose then I may retract reviews but with lack of proof my negative review will remain.

2 years ago we bought a short sale house on 5 acres that needed a lot of help. It was our dream home and we basically started demonlishing and rehabbing for a month before we moved in. As with every remodel unexpected expenses showed up. We got the house in live in condition except for the kitchen cabinets. We had stripped the kitchen and planned for a new kitchen but once we replaced an air conditioner put in a water system and other things the kitchen budget was eaten up. So we made due with the appliances and some tables. So we lived with it for 2 years saving up for the kitchen.I went to Home Depot and Lowes both of them wanted $15,000 and that was just for the cabinets. I went to other cabinets places too. Still too much. Both places gave me a layout plan and neither was very good. Finally, my husband was going to start making the cabinets because he wanted better quality cabinets with dovetails, 1/2 include drawers, soft close. But, I wanted it now after waiting so long! I wanted to wake up one day with all cabinets in and done.I happened to see a billboard for My Kitchen Design Expo and called Maria. My husband approved the quality of the cabinets and was thrilled with the PRICE. Much better than any of the other places we went to for quotes. Maria came out and measured and her design was way above the other two places. I trusted her from the beginning, she tells you what you will get and makes sure you understand. She told me to check all cabinets as they are installed and she would replace any manufacture defects. I carefully inspected each one and told her about two cabinets with very minor scratches and she immediately had them replaced. I loved working with her and the team. She is a smart business woman and I will be referring her to anyone who wants a beautiful kitchen at an incredible price.I am going to post before and after pictures.

Referred to MKDS from a friend who flips houses. Was initially concerned about the price and products UNTIL I saw the quality, which was great. The cabinets are solid wood with dove tailed joints and pricing includes a choice of sinks and hardware. All drawers and cabinets had soft close features.I walked in with a layout in mind. Maria plotted it out on the computer and when I saw a 3D perspective I realized I would have made a big mistake if I stayed with my own design. She suggested some subtle differences which made a total difference. She then suggested some great options for the color of the cabinets and granite. She knows what she is doing with the styles and colors available in her showroom.The installers were great, they were neat and efficient and I felt they treated my installation as if it was their own home. The granite people came out and measured and I had a complete kitchen within 2 weeks. Amazing.I was so impressed with the company and products that I came back and ordered 2 more cabinets and quartz tops. Again very impressed with the quality and servicing.For the price, there is nothing better. I highly recommend MKDE for your next remodel. BTW, I did recommend her to another friend who is also very happy with their cabinets.

Truly disappointed with this company. The product was absolute garbage and arrived in terrible condition. The attitude of the owner changed after she got my Money. she was no longer helpful in anyway. She made several mistakes on the layout that she did for me and would not live up to it. Let me clarify, there were math errors in her calculations. not to be confused with design changes. The cabinets could not fit the space because she added incorrectly. She said that because i approved the design that i was stuck with it. i understand that if i wanted to make design changes that i would be responsible.... but SHE MEASURED and SHE CALCULATED the layout. As I was leaving i was smoking a cigarette in the parking lot and a man pulled up and told me to get back in my car and go somewhere else unless i wanted a pile of headaches. Too bad it was too late. the 3700 project has now surpassed 5000. When i finally agreed to buy the replacement cabinets in order to finish my house she tried to charge me 1800 for 4 cabinets. another store that I had never even worked with offered me the pieces for $1200. Not only did she make a mistake and force me to pay for it.... but she was going to rip me off and overcharge. These kind of slime balls dont last long in business. I know shes only been open a few months and it doesnt look like she will be there much longer. Word gets around quick.

Maria was very agressive and it made us uneasy. We decided to do some homework on the business before buying from them. We called orange co to see if there were any complaints and in fact orange co said that there was no business tax application for that business or anything at that address. They have opened an investigation and advised us to stay clear. Do your homework folks. Theres a reason people dont file the proper paperwork to open a business. They either dont plan on being around long or are looking to fly under the radar. RED FLAG.

Very knowledgeable. The owner has been in business for 32 years and you can tell when she start doing the design in the 3D program. The showroom has product display very nicely and unique. I did my kitchen, bath and closets for a very good prices in all wood material. They shedule the installation at my convenience and start on time. They finished the complete job in only 2 weeks with countertop as schedule. My house looks incredible and the comments I have received on the remodel have been amazing! Great job to Maria and her team. I will recommend MKDE to everyone.

Be aware of this company, poor workmanship!I hired Maria Nieves to design my new kitchen. The design i agreed it was a complete job of replacing my cabinets and new granite countertop.What i received was an unfinished job, holes in the walls, broken floor tiles, unfinished edges and damaged walls. They refused to fix or pick up the mess and worse of all refused to put back the stove and microwave.I live alone and unable to lift heavy objects.Please dont make the same mistake, i do not recommend this company. Read your contract carefully before signing.

FTHB. I was highly recommended to Maria. I had my kitchen demo and wanted shaker cabinets. I have visited a hand full of places with pricing to see where I was at with my best value and options. Maria, by far offered great service and value for what I wanted. I was not an easy customer as far as my decisions across the board with remodeling my house. In other words Maria was patient with my scattered questions. I ordered the Pepper Shaker solid wood at that. The product arrived in boxes and I may have overlooked something but from what I checked they were in deliverable condition and installer took pictures as well :). I had a concern after installation that I address to Maria and it was addressed immediately. That superseded what is most important when it comes down to customer service. From my experience running around and around to the dollar and sense...not cent. She was the bottom line with pricing and installation. My cabinets look beautiful and enjoying them but need to find time to order knobs so I can enjoy opening them the right way..lol. I would highly recommend MKD when looking for quality cabinets at an affordable competitive price. Thank you Maria, for following up calls. :)

The first time I went to the store was to quote my kitchen and when he gave me the prices I was in shock, the prices was really good that i cant believe it was in all wood, so then they have a little display were they can show you the product (that impress me also), so I decide then to do also my laundry room and the vanity for my master bath. My experience with Maria at MKD Expo was wonderful. She was very kind and knowledgeable about the cabinetry she offers and the software in which she shows potential buyers how their kitchen will be transformed.The cabinets as stated below from another user are very well made and are of dove-tailed construction (the first I look for when opening drawers). I assembled the cabinets myself which were fairly easy to assemble. Note: if going with a lazy susan corner cab, be sure to put the shelves in before installing granite as it is impossible (for me) to fit the shelf in place.Mauricio, the granite person, was extremely helpful and installed very quickly. Since our 50s construction walls were not too straight, he made knowledgeable and experienced decisions to make our granite look awesome!I have read some other comments that were less than kind below regarding MKDE. Im not sure why as my experience was excellent.Thank you so much Maria and MKD Expo! Bathrooms next!

If it wasnt for the installers who tried to resolve many of the issues this review would be zero stars. In the end my kitchen looks good HOWEVER I would not do business with MKDE again and neither would I recommend them to anyone.Let me be clear that this is not about pricing. This is about service, or rather, terrible service. My name is Odette and I visited the showroom after a friends recommendation. Initially I thought the quote was too much but I had no experience with kitchen remodeling and quickly learned that Marias prices were actually competitive; very competitive in fact.Marias personality takes some getting used to; shes a no-nonsense business woman/owner which I can respect but when that extends to rudeness, a different threshold has been crossed. Throughout the course of our interaction over roughly a 6-week period, Maria never responded to any of my texts or returned any of my calls. On one call I felt that she deliberately hung up on me but, if it was a disconnect/dropped call, then the appropriate action for her was to call back. I tried calling back several times with no response.Maria will probably speak to the fact that I changed my choices on the order a couple of times. Yes I did. That is my right and my prerogative as a customer and therefore I do not expect bad attitudes from her or her staff. I paid my balance as required and never asked for any deals or assistance with my payment so I do not expect to be treated as if I am asking for a handout. There were errors on my order, no fault of mine, yet I felt belittled at every turn. I felt that if I had not been as thorough as I was with questions and checking every detail, I would have had to live with the mistakes. I have no proof but the additional charges tacked on at the end had the appearance of deceptive business practices. She added an extra amount and blamed it on the mix-up in the order. My fault for not getting an updated copy of the order at the time the change was made.Except for day 1, not once during my 4 follow-up visits to the showroom did I ever feel welcome. Instead, I felt that I was intruding and a bother. Twice, one of her staff came to my apartment and walked in without so much as a half nod much less a greeting. Call me old fashioned but it is beyond rude, especially as a service-based business provider, to walk into someones home and completely ignore the home owner. Also, I can understand that their heritage and primary language is important to, and probably most comfortable for, Maria and her staff but in every interaction I felt the switch to/use of their language was deliberate to keep me unaware of the conversation. It was deliberate and rude. English one minute and then Spanish when I am not to know what is being said.With all that happened what was perhaps the most shocking to me was that without a single thanks for your business or appreciate you doing business with us Maria finds me on Facebook and sends me a friend request!!! Seriously??!! After the way I was treated??!! Its as if the entire staff is blind to this behavior. Obviously business is good for them with unlimited niche clients so SERVICE is not a priority which is great because I have steered the 3 people whove asked me for a referral to find another company to do business with.I am not someone who frequently does online reviews but this was, hands down, the most uncomfortable and negative buying experience I have ever had. I chose not to give specific details on much of what went wrong with this order but am certainly willing to speak to it if required. I hope rather than making excuses (or worse, lashing out), that Maria and her staff will try to make amends and use this feedback to make some course corrections.

This business is a front for SAUL GOLDSTEIN from SG installations and Cabinet Market aka CM design center. He has been scamming customers for years. Google him or his other businesses. He ripped me off and I have made it my mission to follow his moves. When his reputation gets too bad to operate business he opens under different names and continues his old tricks. Save yourself the trouble and stay clear.

Very bad service. I hired a kitchen and they gave it to me without working. Cabinets are not installed properly. The doors do not open properly. They didnt even install the cabinet handles. The truth was a disappointment and I feel cheated. Now there is no answer.

I do not give it 0 star because it does not allow it.Mrs. Maria Nieves who attended us today afternoon 4-22-19 to make an estimate was extremely poorly educated for several reasons:1 - I was chewing or trying to get something out of my mouth all the time.2 - He treated us with an attitude as if we were going to ask, when we are potential clients.3 - At all times raised his voice in a bad tone and saying constantly: is that I do not know what you want.4 - In a low voice when hearing the main door sound as a result of entering customers, he said: now all arrive at the same time.5 - Did not have the decency to apologize when receiving other customers and receive them on top of us.In short, such an employee does a lot of damage to the company because it makes customers or potential customers leave and / or do not do business with them.
