Called the Orland Park location today and spoke with Dave to inquire about a new tire for my SUV and he was very helpful and polite and beyond professional! So I came in and he showed me and taught me how to tell when my tires were bald. I got all new tires and Dave kept me up to date on the progress of my vehicle and what was being done. From now on I will only come to Mavis in Orland Park and its because of Dave!! Thank you for the lesson today and for being so courteous and helpful!!

Ive been a customer for a long time at Orland Park shop. Carl is very nice he makes you feel comfortable and listen to your concerns. What I love the most is their honesty they explain & show you what need to be done to your vehicle. Prices are reasonable. I would recommend others to come.

I was shopping around for tires and brakes for my vehicle and I remember I passed by this place in Crestwood I’ll. I tried to book an appointment it was no available spots I saw Orland Park and they had availability on the same day. I went they were friendly and kept me up to date about everything I will return if need to do something else.

I had a punctured tire, called 4 different places for quotes. Cliff was honest and had the BEST prices. The work was done in a timely manner and I am extremely happy. I will be going back if I need anything else and referring anyone that needs help with their car.

I went to get my oil changed today. Excellent service. Carl is absolutely the best sales associate I’ve ever worked with. Everything went very smooth. If you go in ask for Carl!

After having MULTIPLE auto shops tell me I needed new tires to a new battery to a brake fluid flush for an issue re: one of my tires constantly losing pressure, this place fixed it with a simple change of the tire valve! FINALLY, no more problems! Along with speedy and friendly customer service, I would totally recommend them for all your tire needs!

I went today to pick up my car after having a melt down about the last three opinions concerning what my car needed for fixtures to keep the longevity up. Shout out to Cliff for suggesting a consultation on my fixtures.also shout out to Dave for his expertise. Dave saved me from a 1600 dollar job being done from the dealership, and presented me with a thorough explanation as well as understanding of what my car needed. I went from being told I needed to replace oxygen sensors, catalyst converters, and a tune up to being told that if you replace the catalyst converter you have to replace the oxygen sensor, and leaving with a educated breakdown that I could visualize and understand better what my car really needed. I can not thank him enough for his honesty and quality service that was executed by Dave and his staff at Mavis Tires and Brakes. If you come to this place ask for Dave right away he will point you and his staff in the exact and honest direction you need to go for your cars longevity. They exceed expectations!!

After having 2 tires replaced after a tow, one of the tires seemed to be having some problems. I was able to bring it right back in and have it reviewed and repaired on my own time and schedule. Great customer service on the phone and in store. And quality work as well.

I was a previous customer under NTB. I recently went back with a concern about my tire? I was greeted by Mr. Clif who was extremely professional and very helpful!!! He told me the tire was still under warranty! I was also in need of an oil change and since he was so very helpful with the tire I came back the next day to get the oil change.We must have an oil change shop on every corner but I went back there and will continue to do so because Clif was so very kind and had wonderful customer service skills!! Most of all he was very trustworthy and I felt good about him working on my truck!! Im so thankful to know there are still good honest people and places that care about their customers!! I had a flat tire and needed it replaced ASAP. All the other shops in town would take days to replace the tire and were very expensive. I called Mavis around 5:00pm, and they were able to take care of it before they closed at 6:00pm the same day! Dave and Carl were so helpful and friendly! Fixed my brakes fast and right the first time. I didnt know it was the same place but different location that I bought a tire from that kept leaking and I had to just buy another somewhere else. I never got my money back but this time was better and the location in Orland knew what they were doing and I am very thankful. They were honest and didnt try to sell me more.

What can I say but nothing but the best at this place, best service, best prices, and you can practically get just about any tire you want and if they dont have it at the store they order it for you. I got my tires special order by them and i thought. I would have to wait a few days for them when I got a called the next day my tires had arrived. I highly recommend Mavis for just about.all your car needs.

Mavis (or NTB) has been the only place I have taken my car for the past 6 years. I dont know much about cars, but I have never once been ripped off or lead in the wrong direction with these workers. I had Clif help me today, and man was he outstanding! He really made my experience special. I recommend all my friends to come here, so, if youre seeing this review, you cannot go wrong with Mavis.

Very bad customer service, bought two new tires, three months later wires came out of these tires, the tires was completely worn out, took the car back, they tell me you didn’t do tires rotations that’s why. Tire rotations not going to do all this damage, the shop mostly empty you barley see customers their now I know why. Don’t recommend it at all

First, a shout out to Cliff (the only reason I can justify the one star rating) who did a great job with a difficult situation. He was very nice, understanding and professional. Cliff was also the best part of a bad situation.Made my appointment on a Sunday for the following Friday. Called on Thursday, gave order/confirmation number mentioned appointment for the following day. Everything is set.Took the day off work to get the new tires only to get to Mavis and ...... NO TIRES! Turns out the tires were never ordered. Cliff explained the appointment was made with a call center in New York who was responsible for placing the order for the tires and getting them delivered to their location. He offered something which - according to Mavis - was comparable (google searches did not agree). No idea when the original order would even be there. So, (sigh) cancelled the order (is it really an order if the order was never really placed?) and will just go somewhere else.Owner/managers: Ive been in customer service for over 30 years. I suppose its something nobody really cares about anymore. However, should customer service ever really be important, may I suggest someone check the upcoming work orders the night before and make sure you have what you need. Calling a customer BEFORE they take time off work to experience what YOUR company has to offer and letting them know theres an issue, it a LOT better than the experience I had.Note: we have 4 cars. At nearly $1000 per car, you missed out on a chunk of change.Do better.

I was here 3 weeks ago, and the service was excellent!!. I went in with a lot of repair work needed from major to minor. Dave, Mike, and Cliff were able to fix everything all in one day! The tire price was great. I compared 3 different companies and they had the lowes price for what I was looking for. The service was great. They keep the place very clean. There was any waiting around for other people and the place was very comfortable. Everyone was wearing their masks and following all covid precautions. I definitely recommend this place. They do a lot more than tires and brakes, so dont let the name. The owner was also very helpful and gave me some good tips for maintaining my cars tires.

I came to Orland Hills for a christian conference but ended up picking up a piece of metal from I80 on my tire. Found Mavis tires on the web and Explained to Carl - the gentleman behind the counter the situation. He went to the vehicle and quickly diagnosed the problem and he was able to bring the car into the garage. I was told about 2 hours but they were able to fix it in about 1 hour. Thank God! and Thank you Mavis for the quick turnaround and I was able to resume attending the Christian conference. God Bless Carl and Gid Bless your business!

I was a loyal customer for a long time because of one good employee Abe. They told me I needed a battery and Id just bought one 3yrs ago...Im still using that battery. I bought 4 tires...worst tires ever. I still more now than I did with the ones they replaced that had 30%. Also 2 are really bad and they wont honor the extended warranty I paid for. They want to charge me more than what I paid for 4 for the 2 bad ones after only 20k miles of driving on them. I repair everything that is wrong within a wk so the cheap tires shouldnt be bad anyway. These tires are their signature brand...theyre terrible.

I will never again go anywhere but here, theyre professional, courteous and quick. They know exactly what theyre doing and treat you very well. I went here for a tire repair. I called first to see what the wait time was, and I was able to put my name in the wait list. There were no customers waiting when I arrived, which was nice. My car was taken back within 10 minutes of arrival. I was in and out in under an hour, which was great, especiallyfor a Saturday. I am closer to the Crestwood location, but always go the extra 5 miles to the Orland location. The repairmen are friendlier, and the waiting room is nicer.

I got my summer tires here just a few days ago, very good staff, they notice my sway bar had broken and they fixed it for me, great service, highly recommend!!

Dave and the guys were great! I’ve had to come in twice recently because of rim leaks. They are professional and explain how it happens and says there’s nothing I can do to prevent it. Fixed it for free because I bought the tires here. I don’t mind driving 20 minutes over here so they can look at my car when I need it, because I trust them.

I called at 5:10 pm to ask if they were busy. They asked me how far I was from the store. I told them I could be there in 15 minutes. They said come right now.I got there by 5:25 pm and they fixed my leaking tire and only charged me $32.72.They were honest and didn’t try and tell me I needed a new tire or two tiresI was on my way home by 6:00 pmGreat experience

I originally ordered $75 Cooper tires in-person with David at the Oak Lawn location without a deposit, but they never arrived and he didn’t follow up after a couple of phone calls. I’m still waiting on his callback. I spoke with Carl at the Crestwood location, he said the system wouldn’t allow him to order the Cooper tires, but offered tires at $90+ over the phone at the lowest price.Last attempt, I called the Orland Park location & spoke with Clif. He apologized immediately, confirmed the Coopers were discontinued, verified he had another option on hand for $10 more at $85 each & ready for install. Plus, he discounted the wheel alignment due to the inconveniences.Clif & his team were very professional, friendly, considerate and efficient. I highly recommend THIS location. Thanks so much!

Eddie was a great guy, professional and easy to deal with. I had to order tires that were not in stock but he managed to get the tires and installed them later that day. I will definitely be coming back just because of him. I can get tires anywhere, but Eddie make this location first on my list.

Great place if youre looking for budget prices. They will beat any competitor out there-- I saved $50 by choosing NTB. The service is also quick. That is where the good stuff ends... After changing two tires and rotating all my tires on my 2007 Chevy Impala, none of my TPMS sensors worked. Contacted them and they said they needed replacing. But they were working beforehand?! Something doesnt seem right there.Also, zoom to present day--6 months later that some electrical work had been undone during the tire installation and Orland NTB used butt connectors to seal up the wiring. These wires are exterior and exposed to the elements so they quickly became unplugged. I was never notified about this issue. The wires had to be cut, re-soldered, and shrink wrapped like a typical outdoor connection should. Cost me an extra $200Overall if youre looking for cheap, fast work this is your place. Sadly for me, I cannot recommend Orland NTB as the work is sloppily done and cost me more in the long run.

I have always came to NTB (countryside), now Mavis, I decided to come a bit closer to home for my oil change and today was a great experience! Eddie got me into my appointment and he was very personable. I trusted him on what he was telling me because I even knew I needed a little bit more than an oil change today! I will be making this my location for any of my car needs.

It all started from a nail in my rear tire! Thank you Cliff for your great advice since youre closing Saturday. I added a little more PSI in my tire, so I wouldnt have a flat tire when I woke up. I arrived Sunday morning to get my tired repaired when Cliff and Dave greeted me very nicely. I am so happy I purchased the road hazard insurance on my 4 tires a year ago from NTB...bingo, no CHARGE Cliff stated! The mechanic ran the diagnostic on my Nissan Pathfinder and it read my brakes had only 15% and the rear has only 20% and I needed to get an alternator. Dave was very knowledgeable and explained to me what needed to be repaired first because my repairs will be costly. I will be returning after Christmas to take care of my car needs. Thanks Dave and Cliff for the great customer service!
