After visiting another Honda dealership in the area a couple of days ago, my experience at Community Honda of Orland Park today, 11/1/21, was both unique and refreshing. I have never felt so valued as a customer.During this uncertain era of pandemic and pandemonium, Community Honda has a thoughtful plan in place that provides protection for both their customers as well as their employees and it is seamlessly implemented by a staff that is very professional.Indeed, I thought the experience could not get any better until I received the bill for the installation of the visor in my daughters Honda Civic. It was priced at half of the quote given by the previous dealership, who by the way, did not have the part in stock!!!Kudos, accolades, fist bumps and high fives to the Service Department at Community Honda of Orland Park!!! Way to go!!!
EXCELLENT (5*) service!! Our salesman Anthony M. was very knowledgeable of the Honda we purchased. He was very personable, had a great sense of humor and felt that he was genuine in the details and facts of the vehicle. Our experience at Honda of Orland Park was easy and no strings attached from beginning to end. Even the finance side of things with Sean who was also very personable, was straight forward and right to the point.Having many choices of dealers around us, we did travel a distance to (this) Honda dealer and glad that Anthony made us feel very comfortable in making our decision of our purchase here at Community Honda! We will be definitely recommending Anthony to our family and friends who are looking for a future Honda.
Service guy Cameron was very straight forward and called me to discuss whatever was going on with my car and waited to receive permission from me before starting any maintenance. No surprise charges, no extras, just what the car needed and also informed me of what may be needed down the road. Bill was a bit higher than i expected but the car did need a lot and it was done with dealership quality so Im satisfied.
I purchased a car there this past Saturday. I told my salesman Tony that I did not want any extra warranties. I went through finance and again stated that I did not want any warranties. I got home only to discover that a $600 ForeverStart Plus warranty was slipped in. This warranty has 3 options Bronze, Silver and Gold. Someone choice the Bronze battery replacement and the Silver key replacement for me. I had no idea what this warranty was and I certainly did not make those choices. When I called Tony he explained that all the cars have that warranty. I told him I didnt want it and asked him to remove it. I spoke to the sales manager Ms. Jimenez and she kept stressing that I signed for it and that it was done in the showroom. In the showroom my attention was solely focused on the price I was going to get for my trade-in. I explained if I signed for it I didnt know that I was signing for this warranty and that I wanted it removed. She said that when I came in she would go over the paperwork. I told her there was no paperwork to go over. She also kept questioning if I was really the customer?! I still have not heard from them.
I decided to come to Community Honda for service since I bought my car there. My appointment was at 11 am. I arrived at 10:40 am. I am always on time for my appointments as always in customer service keeping on schedule is important, I didnt want to be late. I was not seen until 11:05 - no problem- I get it my appointment was at 11. However when I was brought in to discuss that this was an oil change - I was told it would be 1 1/2 hours. In reality it was over 2 hours, I was told this was because of the strike last week. Hmm - this is a result of overbooking your schedule. When getting ready to pay - I stood in line for over 25 minutes as there were issues with the person in front of me not being able to pay. No one else knows how to accept payment for better customer service?? If there is a line of customers waiting someone else should step in I would think. I left my 80 bucks on the counter with my receipt and told them to keep the 7 bucks as a tip for the great customer service. Pearl Dodge will get my business moving forward - oil changes in less than 30 minutes - courteous, on schedule realizing that customers time is just as important - great customer service always with out fail!
The experience was great without any pressure and deal done quickly. Frank was very thorough and easy to deal with. Top notch experience
I went to another Honda dealership in Matteson and was told there was approx $1600 worth of repairs needed - took it over to Orland Honda and after a very thorough and detailed conversation with their Service Advisor (Randy), all I needed was an alignment - saved me over $1400 worth of unnecessary expenses and work!!! Love this place - trustworthy, reliable, knowledgeable, and outstanding service!Randy was the best service guy I’ve ever dealt with - I’ll definitely be going back!
We had a great car buying experience recently when we purchased our Honda Pilot. Our sales person Jake was great. He was very knowledgeable, not pushy, and was able to answer all questions we had. Also Steven, the finance manger was wonderful and helpful. They made the process as quick as they possible could. We would highly recommend going to Community Honda in Orland!
Anthony was super helpful, and gave me a great quote on ordering my part ahead of time. Got it in the next business day. Went in at Noon was out of there before 1pm. Bill did a great job expediting the process. Had a wonderful experience. Very professional.
Go to literally any other Honda dealership. I was lured in by false advertising of a 2020 Civic posted on their website. Called the dealership 3 time to confirm the car was there. They confirmed and promised to call if the car was sold before I was able to make it there. When I got there they said OOPS it was a mistake in their system and that car had been sold weeks ago. Great. So I end up looking at their used cars. They wouldnt budge on the price at all which I can understand as its a sellers market and I was in a bind needing to buy a car asap... Bought a car with a cracked bumper which they promised to replace. Went to pick up the car today (with the new bumper). Was told it would be ready at 3pm. Was not ready until 5pm. Bumper was not replaced, it was repaired and they did a poor job. There is still an obvious crack in the bumper. Plus there was garbage in my car... Cookie wrapper on the floor and crumbs on the seat. Couldnt be less professional. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else and if you must buy a car here, expect to be lied to.
I bought my car back in January. January 26 to be exact! I’m leaving this review now because I recently needed a oil change. I usually take my cars back to the maker of the car which in this case is HONDA. But I don’t even feel comfortable going here. The day I purchased my van when I walked into Honda I wasn’t greeted, asked if I needed anything, NOTHING! I literally was standing over by the tables for 2-4 minutes waiting on someone to approach me. Meanwhile it’s a bunch of guys(white) huddled over by a table. YES THEY SAW ME! more then one guy looked my way multiple times. In my head Im wondering if it’s because I’m black or a woman! I wasn’t leaning toward because I’m a woman! I have bought TWO trucks from ACURA and never experienced this! Finally Mike walked over and ask if I needed help. Yes I spoke to the manger and told him as well! I believe his name was Ken. He apologized, but yes I still feel some type of way and don’t won’t to return.
The service person was not friendly told me I needed a service that was not in my maintenance agreement for my leased vehicle. He said it would be $135. As I waited in the waiting room I googled the service that spoke to the make and model of my vehicle to need the service at 30,000 miles min. I have less than 13,000 miles. Why are you trying to nickel and dime the consumer. Did you really rotate my tires? Why do we make appointments and service takes longer than needed?
Very happy with the service provided; even came to my house to jump start the car in my garage. It was determined that I needed a new battery and they were able to do it right away. All in all I was very happy and even got a free car wash.
Went in to dealer for 2 purposes today:1) B12 service which we prepaid for with lease agreement2) To get purchase price (assuming price on initial lease agreement plus tax.)Service was taken care of promptly even with mechanics on strike. Prepaid service agreement for 5 oil changes and included service was $1245.00. Bill for today’s service (#4) would have been $65.00. Note to self: NEVER buy the agreement.About lease conversion to payoff: Contract says payoff at the end of the 36 month/36k lease would be slightly over 25k plus tax and fees. Ended up driving under 29k of the 36k. Not expecting money back on the remaining miles, but dealer moved the sales price to almost 29k plus tax on that higher amount because the vehicle has a higher residual value (obviously since it could have come back w/36k miles vs 29k.) Note to self 2: Be sure to drive all allowable miles in the lease or pay a steep penalty.Looking elsewhere for a vehicle once our lease is up in October.
Wonderful costumer service. And amazing help with my car!
I lost the only key I had to my car and called to have a new key made. Although they could not make a key the same day, they said they could make it the next day. The next morning I called to let them know when I would be there. As soon as I got there they had everything ready and had my key made quickly. Thank you so much to Bill and his team for making a stressful situation easier!!
Jim was a great salesman who worked with us every step of the way. Thanks!
I needed some maintenance work on my olderAccord. I didnt realize mileage packages no longer existed. Kamron at Community Honda OP was so very patient and listened to my list of potential needs for my car and my intention to keep this Honda working for as long as possible. He and the tech worked very diligently to inspect my car and to give me updates on what was found and what wasrecommended within reason. They got all the work finished ahead of the expected time and Kamron was able to keep me within my budget which I greatly appreciated. By far my best experience with Honda services in the last 16yrs of being a Honda customer!
The service department was efficient and thorough. Everything was explained well and the paperwork covering what was done and what might need attention going forward was easy to understand and well documented. We will be using Community Hondas service going forward.
My Experience is a 10. Our sales person Michael was very informative and helpful. Very professional and knowledgeable. Had a Great experience with the whole experience. Thanks Community Honda ❤️
I took my car into service for an oil change and my radios volume keeps cutting out I saw someone in service and they told me they can make an appointment but it will get cancelled because of the strike and technicians weren’t available. Why would you offer to make me an appointment if it’s just going to get cancelled? I drove to the Honda in oak lawn and they are willing to do something about my radio. I had a bad experience in orland park and never going back again for service.
Jim McElligott provided exceptional service in providing me with all of the info I needed to choose the best auto for my needs. He was interested and informative, without being high-pressured. Sean took care of the financial end of the transaction and again, provided information professionally and respectfully. After my purchase, Jim contacted me again the next day to followup and let me know he was available if I had any further questions or concerns. Overall, a painless and pleasant experience.
I worked with Frank Cleveland and he was awesome!!! No pressure, no nothing!! I’d have no problem going back to Community Honda to buy another car.
The salesman Michal Para was polite, knowledgeable and thorough. However this dealership adds dealer added options which the customer has no way to reject. For example, they added a $599 package that is basically an insurance policy on the battery and key fobs. When I questioned them about it they said there is no way to remove it because even though it is only insurance the dealership has to spray the battery contacts which is done as soon as the car is received. Another option that couldnt be removed is a $499 option for wheel locks and front mud flaps ... $499, seriously?
Brian was very helpful programming my phone in both my cars
Staff was friendly and helpful, my vehicle looks and runs beautifully
My experience with community Honda was one of the worst experience of had in my entire life going to dealerships. I made it 10:30 appointment I was there at 10:10 in the morning on Friday the 8th of August. Where I waited to be greeted. My service rep named Greg was very condescending and unprofessional to me. After filling out the paperwork I was told that it would take an hour and a half before my card can be seen in service. After sitting two and a half hours I went to inquire about the service to my car. No one came to tell me or update me as far as when my car will be serviced. As I saw new customers coming in and leaving out my car is still wasnt touched. After 4 hours of waiting my car was finally finished. I proceeded to pay with my card, their system wouldnt accept my payment not only that I wasnt giving them keys to my car and after 3:00 a.m. I left my credit card number so they can charge my card I looked outside to see where my car was upon that same my car I walked back and saw my car was being held in the bay not where should have been. As I proceed to go to my car their alarm system goes off giving me the impression that something was amiss. Its one of the worst experiences Ive ever had going to a dealership. I would never go back.
Community Honda service department is the best!!!Efficient courteous friendly experience always. I have owned 2 Honda’s and I highly recommend them. Greg P. Took great care to inform me of the service to be performed along with associated costs. Bob M the service manager is highly personable and fair with his customers. He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are satisfied!!! A+ For Community Honda and their great service team!!
I was pleased with the service today. The shop was busy but I felt that they ran a tight shop with good professional advisors
I like to come when Randy P. is available to help with my service check in. He is always so kind, patient and helpful!
Service advisors never disappoint. Always very welcoming, most helpful, and prompt. Many thanks
Bought a brand new 2022 Civic here. Very fast and easy process, was in and out in 3 hours. Both Jose Aguilera and Sean Flatley we’re amazing helping me through the process of buying a car. Really made it easy and helped me understand everything throughout the process. Would recommend this place!
My experience buying a car with Jim McElligott was top notch. He put my wife and I at ease immediately and went above and beyond through the whole process.
Great experience at Orland Honda, Bob is a very good sale men. He explained all details very well, regarding my purchase of a 2021 Honda Accord. He made you feel at ease. He answer every question with knowledge .
This was my first visit to Community Honda. The staff was very friendly and willing to answer any questions.I do wonder why your prices are so much higher than other dealers. An oil change and tire rotation is about $60 at other dealerships, but at Community I paid $100.
Everyone was really helpful! This was a painless experience. My issue is the price of the services. They are really high in pricing. A air filter change is $54. I can do that myself for $17 and only waste 5 minutes of my own time.
This Honda dealer was so great! They took excellent care of us. They went over and above what we expected. We had bought a Toyota Sienna with a few issues. They took the time to correct the issues. Never in my 70 years have I experienced a dealer that great!!
I had a great experience at Honda of ORLAND. This is my 7th Honda and I am a lifetime believer of these great vehicles!
My wife and I were in town visiting family when we saw the Civic Type R, and the salesperson Tony Mendoza was great. He answered all of our questions and never rushed us even though he knew we were from out of state and probably didnt expect to hear from us again. About two weeks later I reached out to him and we texted and talked on the phone until we had a deal worked out, and I flew from Nashville into Chicago to buy the car. When I got to the dealership, the car was washed and beautiful and waiting for me to look at it.Very smooth process from beginning to end, and they were very patient with all of my questions. Will definitely give them the first shot at my business in the future even living 500 miles away.
Community Honda is by far the best dealership I have ever worked with. Sue and Anthony M were absolutely amazing. They were considerate and understanding of my situation and despite the low inventory of vehicles made sure I got a vehicle that I absolutely loved. They let me take my time and did not make me feel rushed or pressured into making a decision I wasn’t comfortable with. I would highly recommend Community Honda if you are in need of a new vehicle, it will be a great experience!
The service tech Cameron greeted me on arrival & gave me an estimate on price for service and the time it would take. He was very thorough & it was one & a half hours earlier! Awesome! The cashier was great & although I got my car from McGrath, I will continue to get it serviced here!
Went in for a basic oil change and ‘B1’ required services. Honda Associates we’re friendly, promp and efficient. Positive experience.
The salesmen, Bob and Anthony, were great! They spent a lot of time with us going over all of the features of the Honda CR V that we purchased to make sure we had a thorough understanding of everything. They are both friendly and very helpful. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is considering buying a Honda.
Mike Mitchener made my car buying experience simple and stress free. There was never a moment that I felt pressured into buying car and his customer service is outstanding! Community Honda has always been good to me whether it be buying a car, buying parts, or visiting the service department. Highly recommend this dealership. Ill continue to send all of my family members and friends here. Thank you so much mike!
My daughter just bought a 2018 Civic after graduating college. She went in for first oil change which was supposed to be covered. Was not in system but he said he trusted her. They added brake fluid ($15) and something else for ($12) then charged her $143 in labor. It also took 2 hours even though she had an appointment! BS. Was looking to buy another car and will not go back to Community for fear of being ripped off!
Was interested in a car and spoke to them over phone about a offer I had at a different dealership and asked if they can match it. After telling them I was a hour away They requested I drive down to discuss negotiation in person and once I arrived they told me that they dont negotiate. I get it if price was firm but that was Terrible of them to make me drive that far to tell me that. Very rude.
Bought a 21 Pilot. Our sales rep, Jim was very friendly. He listened to our needs and got us the car we were looking for. Would definitely do business with them again
Nice place and good customer service but the time it took to service my vehicle was horrible. I had a 7am appointment but chose not to wait. They told me it would be about 4hrs to complete the work. When I called at 11:00am they could not tell me when my vehicle would be ready. I returned around 12:30pm and had to wait until 3:30pm for my vehicle. I personally dont think they started working on my vehicle until I returned.
I truly appreciated Bill Savage, he assisted me for two straight days. My CR-V needed an oil change and some other work, it was taken care of immediately. Bill, let me know that sooner than later, I would need tires. He showed me the three options that were available to me, I those the recommended tires that he said that he had. Im very pleased with the results, thanks Bill.
Everyone was very nice. They were helpful and made me feel at ease. It didn’t take that long at all!! I’ve spent hours waiting to sign papers, then signing papers! It was painless and I love my new Honda!!The young man that stocks the water bottles etc. is a great asset to Community Honda. Very friendly and helpful. Thank you!!!
Customer service was immaculate. Very professional, very friendly.easy time buying a car
Won’t be buying any more cars from community honda or honda in general. So far it’s very difficult to get defective manufacturer paint job repainted.more details soon.2021 Accord
Came in looking to buy a new Accord and I patiently waited while I saw them immediately assist two people that came in after me. Now Im in their parking lot calling another Honda dealership to make a deal. Oh well...
Stefan was amazing every step of the process from finding exactly what I want to explaining every thing in full detail. I am over the moon happy about my purchase and have him to thank for making it easy!
Beware of the service department❗️ I bought a 2018 Honda Accord Hybrid brand new from this dealership. Just last summer the A/C stopped working but the car was still under warranty. They said it was the A/C condenser which was on backorder so I waited over month without A/C and summer was almost over. After the repair it worked fine but fall and winter arrived and I obviously didn’t use it. It was the first hot day of the new year several months later and I realized it was blowing hot again. They told me their repair was only warrantied for 12,000 miles. Well...I drive a lot and don’t use my A/C in the winter obviously so I wouldn’t have noticed the botched repair. They charged me $330 to put a dye in the refrigerant and said bring it back in a month. They still can’t find the problem. Basically, they clearly didn’t repair my A/C under warranty properly last summer but have no problem taking my time and money now. Very disappointed in the service department. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND GET YOUR HONDA SERVICED AT ANOTHER DEALER!!!!!!!
Great people to deal with. I have bought a number of cars from Dennis piecinski and he has always between a true proffessional
Great service, but took longer than originally told. I had another appointment after that I was late for. My time is important to me.
Incredible experience. Knowledgeable and efficient staff. Couldn’t have been more friendly. Gave great advice. I have bought my last three cars hear and I wouldn’t consider going anywhere else. Makes car shopping a stress free delight and the product is exceptional
Tony Mendoza was awesome! In and out of there with our new car in little over an hour. No fuss, just a great price with great financing.
I went in for routine maintenance and the service I had received was exceedingly high quality. Service advisors were kind and Informative. While The service it’s self was exceptional.
Randy Pribyl was efficient & helpful, explained everything,& had my car ready in a few hours as promised. Nosurprises or hidden charges.
Thanks to Greg and the mechanics for keeping my van running great.
I was in the market for a used car in a pinch. Community Honda (especially Tony) came through and helped me find exactly what I needed. The whole experience from testing the vehicle to signing the papers was hassle free. I have my eye on a new civic or CR-V and I will definitely be going back to Community Honda.
My appointment was at 3 p.m. today for just an oil change, usually you have to wait at least an hour, sometimes almost 2 hours. My service advisor was Kamron Mikuta, he said it would be about an hour or a little more. My car was ready to go in 45 minutes. That is probably the shortest amount of time I have ever waited for an oil change, and Ive been going there for 17 years now. Hopefully this is a sign that management is actually improving things like wait times, it will sure make more customers happy and wanting to continue using this dealership! Thank you for the efficient service today!
They did a phenomenal job on my vehicle, however, my car smelled the worst of cat urine. Either the mechanic bathes in cat urine or washes his or her clothes in it. I am NOT being funny here, I actually had to drive down the street for about a mile with ALL my windows down just to get rid of the smell. Please, hygiene is paramount Community Honda, your slippin a little!
My sales person Anthony was awesome. Smooth transaction. He didn’t give up on finding me the best car I’ve bought from you and I and my family have bought 5 Honda’s from community Honda! Highly recommend Anthony.Deanine Leuver.
The Honda Facility itself has a great selection of cars. However the salesman, I had was ridiculously uneducated on what he is selling. Corey G. was his name. Tried to up sale me by 36% which is more than 1/3 the amount I would need to pay for the lease itself by adding 1200 worth of car basics and 2400 from a higher than average money factor rate. Then I asked him how was this interest rate calculated he stated “I don’t know”.Then when asked how did he come up with a monthly payment if he doesn’t know what money factor was used. He just stated “we can’t give you a money factor until we run your credit”. Needless to say I showed him a credit report when we first sat down so he knew what the credit score was and you have to use a money factor in order to give me an estimate payment. That’s when I knew it was time to exit. Little advice for you Corey remember you are the salesman it’s your job to sale; not to try to act like it’s either this or the highway. The highway we will go.
Frank C was great to work with. He was kind, patient, and explained every aspect of our new car to us. A really great guy and we highly recommend working with him!
I had to bring my vehicle in multiple times for the same issue- squeaky/creaking noises when I brake. No one listened to me in the beginning because for the first couple of trips to the dealership, the service department explained that the only thing they did to my car was put oil on the brakes. Clearly that wasnt the solution because the noise persisted. My father and I spoke with the Service manager (Bob) about this dealerships failure to fix my car. Bob explained that the squeaking was normal for a Honda and showed us a picture layout of the Civic. We explained that the noise was not normal and needed to be thoroughly examined. I gave them my car for a few days and had to pay for a rental- only for them to come back to me saying that they didnt find anything wrong. After the warranty expired, they conveniently found out what was wrong with my car. Originally they wouldnt fix it without pay due to the warranty being expired but later agreed to make the exception. I was told that I should be thankful that they were doing this for me. Mind you, had they done their job from the jump, we wouldnt have been in that situation. But guess what? Till this day, the car still squeaks when I break sometimes but I wont even waste my time taking it in. The service here is absolutely garbage and I will never recommend anyone do business with this dealership. Also, I just took my car in for an oil change 2 weeks ago. I asked twice that they cap my fluids off because I was out of wind shield liquid. Guess what? They never did it.
I am new to the area and needed an oil change. I scheduled the appointment, and showed up 15 minutes early. They told me I could get a shuttle ride, so I didn’t have to stay there. They then tried the usual tactic of telling me I needed more services. When I said let’s just do the oil change, he then said he would just get us in and out and not get us a ride. An hour later, they still hadn’t started on my car. My wife asked how long, and he said 20 minutes and we couldn’t get a ride. They then overheard me talking to my wife about how I would find somewhere else to go, and they somehow found me a ride. My car finally was done an 1.5 hours later. Total time 2.5 hours for a scheduled oil change. Would never go back again.
Jose was awesome to work with. He was very helpful, professional and made my purchase as simple as can be. Everyone else on the team there was friendly and I would recommend this dealership to friends and family without a doubt!
Probably one of my best experiences in terms of going to get my car worked on. I needed to take care of a recall situation and the agent, Randy, took care of me well. Got to check out the new cars during my wait and was happy to find super courteous and knowledgeable staff. Great place. Wish all car ventures were like this.
I hate going to buy a new car but today wasnt bad at all, very good salesman, Antonio, and was in and out quickly, thanks.
This was our first Honda vehicle purchase and I cant say how pleased we were with the buying experience. We were provided a line item cost workup for an out the door price via email. The price was fair and what we expected from our research. There was no fast talk, disguised fees or covert profiteering. We went that evening to purchase our new CR-V and were in and out in less than an hour. This is the model car buying experience all other dealerships should follow.
Brian Nava in the Sales Department was very courteous and knowledgeable. I didnt feel rushed or pressured by him at all. He worked with his sales manager and me to get me a good deal, and get the final out the door price one that I was happy with. Sean Flatley in Finance was also very courteous. He was thorough in explaining all the various forms and options, etc. I highly recommend Community Honda to anyone looking to buy a car.
The dealer honored the monthly payment plan proposed in their email. The salesperson new his cars and did not try to push us into a choice - greatly appreciated. The transaction was done quickly and we bought exactly what we came in to look at.
Possibly one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Michal is an awesome salesman - not pushy, but definitely knows his stuff. We are very happy with Community Honda right now.
The service people were kind, thoughtful, and prompt!
The service I received they were exceptional.Kamron was very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. I didnt have to wait very long to get my car serviced. Thank you Community Honda Oakland Park.
Had to get a rental car from them. Car its self was great, however its was dirty, they did not tell me how to work the vehicle at all. Had to flag a guy walking in the service area to show me how to start it. Next time someone rents a car you should go over it so the person renting it knows how to work it..
Cory was great throughout the whole process and made everything very easy. Highly recommend the Orland Park Community Honda team!
I went in for an oil change and had some other issues. Randy was wonderful and explained everything in detail to me. He’s the best!!!
Veryy Good and Efficient Experience! Cory; Steve, and All Other Honda Personnel Made My Car Buying Experience Veryy Smooth, And Answered All My Questions, or Concerns! ***I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND Community Honda of Orland Park To PURCHASE YOUR DREAM RIDE!! Experience Was AMAZINGG!
Came in to check out a vehicle and got the run around on multiple occasions, was told to call back, was also told I would be called back on another occasion. The salesman who I met the first time seemed to want to usher me out the door as if they didn’t have the time/want to service me. Overall very poor experience. If you’re serious about buying a vehicle I wouldn’t waste your time coming to this dealership, there are many more to choose from on 159th street.
Employees were very pleasant and waiting room comfortable. The wait time was two hours, which I didnt expect for an oil change. This was our 1st experience with Community. Car was returned to us freshly washed and dried.
Helped me with an issue by calling Honda on my behalf pertaining to a service bulletin, but only after I initiated that request. They should have done it without me prompting them. And then a service advisor who knew nothing about me requesting that they contact Honda calls me telling me that he had great news after he decided to call Honda for me. No dude, I asked the manager to go to bat for me. Dont present it as though you did that on your own.
Stop screwing over your mechanics. Pay them what they deserve!
My car service was not well coordinated. My experience at the workshop was terrible. My car was left in the service area after I was told the work had been completed instead of bringing it out to where completed cars are usually parked. Upon sighting my car still parked inside the service area I entered it to go home only to find that the key on my car dash board is not my car key and the paper work does not belong to my car. No one seemed to be interested to explain to me why there was such a mix up. I am not actually sure if my car was worked on or not after spending two and half hours at the shop for transmission and basic engine oil change. They need to be more careful with peoples cars.
Excellent customer service from the moment we walked in the door as has always been our experience with Community Honda. Stefan, our sales assistant was able to assist us by providing all the information we needed. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us through every step of the car buying experience . He went above and beyond and stayed until 7 o’clock on a Saturday night no less getting us set up with a new CRV. This is exactly the reason we buy all of our cars from Honda and more specifically Community Honda!
Even though dealing with labor problems, Community Honda managed to provide excellent service, On time and complete!
Today I went to Community Honda to lease a vehicle. My salesman was very courteous and very helpful. His name is Dennis. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. He showed me how to operate the different aspects of the car, and was very patient with me. He made me feel very comfortable. Ms Willis
Couldn’t fix a leaking wiper fluid motor problem. Pretty disappointed cause I’ve trusted them with more serious issues. The one star is for the good haircut Greg in service had. He know a good barber apparently. That one star is for you Greg. Tip your barber well man.
We are in Ohio and found Community Honda’s 2018 Pilot Elite on Autotrader. Very happy with the great customer service received over the phone and in the dealership after our 5 hour drive to pick it up. They set up my memory seats, phone and explained more than my 2 Ohio Honda dealers ever did with the Honda’s I purchased in 2012 and 2020. Can’t say thank you enough!
Excellent service our salesman was very nice and knowledgeable about the car we were purchasing.. great experience
Bought a car here recently. My sales agent was nice, Robert is his name I think. I came in with a trade, they came at least a grand off the True Car value, I drove all the way from Rockford and I dont want to come for nothing so I have to haggle a little bit to get more from my trade which is a much newer car and with less miles than the one Im buying from the dealership. I was buying with cash so I was surprised they did a hard credit inquiry of my credit score (saw it in my credit report). If not for these things I will give 5 stars easy. Overall, Im just taking the good with the bad, got the car I wanted.
Community Honda isn’t at all about the Community. I went in looking to get a new car. The price I was quoted in the dealer was 2K over the price that was online. They then also tack on unnecessary extras like wheel locks & a key fob replacement service which they say are “non negotiable.” Go to any other dealership, you’ll be much happier & you won’t feel like you’re getting ripped off.
I was recommended by a friend to visit this location while car shopping. I met with Cory G and was the most helpful person I have encountered in my car shopping experience. I am definitely enjoying my new car! Thanks, Honda and Cory!
Community Honda was able to diagnose and fix a problem with my car that another incompetent dealer (Gerald Honda Matteson,IL) was unable to. They came through. Although the charge for labor was too damn high, at least they fixed the issue and were competent. They booked a Lyft ride home for me while car was being worked on (even though I know I paid for it in labor rate lol).
In the last 2 years we had to come 3 times and wait hours regarding Air Conditioning issues on our 2016 Honda Civic. It is well known Honda has issues and much outlash on their new vehicles regarding A/C. Today we came in looking for answers and be shown some consideration and empathy. Its kind of ridiculous and frustrating to visit the dealer every 2 years for the same problem and still expect us to pay for inspections/repairs of manufacturer quality issues and engineering incompetence. Its just not right and deeply dissaspointed. We gave Community Honda our business by buying a new car with our hard earned money. Whenever people asked for referrals for a dealer, I would always suggest Community Honda. After today, no more. I will have to seek new means of addressing these issues whether its through Honda Corporate or legal means while I risk a heatstroke. Thats my review.
Definitely highly recommend this location very polite very easy to work with and they do everything possible to get you out in the vehicle you want... Definitely a huge shout out to Iris and Stefan. Thank you so much!!
