Visited today to inquire about the C8 and possibly add ourselves to the wait list. The sales team ignored us for several minutes. When the dude (I will not give him the title of salesman, that would be an insult to all salesmen) finally showed up he was so rude. He didnt get the keys until I explicitly asked for the third time. He wouldnt even unlock the passenger door for me or the trunk. My husband was trying to find the button and ended up just leaning over to open the door from the inside. Would not spend a penny in this dealership. Absolutely trash service.

I didn’t make an service appointment but I called 30 minutes before arriving and the oil change was done in one hour. It’s smooth and the supervisor is very helpful and professional. He pointed out the previously missed services which are important to be done soon. So I have made an appointment to get them done next week. I am fully satisfied with the service.

I just wanna say this is the best place the men there were so helpful and gave me a really great deal on a impala. They went above and beyond to get me the best prices and even discounts. If your looking for a Chevy I highly recommend them and also what I liked is joe was prepared right when I got there and made everything super easy. I was in and out in two hours. Also liked the fact that they were honest and not just another car sales man trying to get over on you! Very professional and kind! My daughter just bought a beautiful Chevy Cruze! Selman Chevrolet was very patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful! Jose set us up with a very comprehensive test drive and showed us the many features of the car. We decided to purchase the car and we then worked with Gus in finance. Again, easy to work with and ABSOLUTELY NO PRESSURE! We really got a great deal and our whole family would like to thank Jose and Gus! Horrible customer service.Took my 2014 SS camaro in to get the fender flare fixed. This was a dealer ordered, dealer painted, and dealer installed stock piece. (Note: Not from this dealership but one in Florida). Part was installed about 3ish months ago. Still have a warranty. At first, instead of properly taking it off and fixing it, they wanted to just pull it back and try to replace the double sided tape while it was still on the car. Common sense would say this wont work but that was their fix.The next day it started to peel off with no shock to anyone. I called the manager Joe at the service department (the guy that has been working with me on it) on Sept 10th. It was a Friday and Joe asked if i could call back Monday and we would schedule an appointment. So i called back Monday Sept 13th. No answer/ left a message. Tuesday no answer/ left a message. Wednesday no answer/ left a message. Thursday no answer/ left a message. Friday was told he was off and wont be back till Monday Sept 20th. Of course no one there knew of the issue.Called back Monday and again no answer/ left a message. Finally in order to try to get this solved, on Tuesday Sept 22 i went to the dealership. Found him and he just basically said we arent going to work on it and the body shop also doesnt want to, sorry i never called you back, bye.About a month ago, the body shop worked on my back bumper and did and amazing job with quality and time. They took off and put both back fender flares on better then the Florida dealership did. Seriously an amazing job. Why they are afraid to do it now is beyond me. Especially since its all stock pieces.Im really disappointed the service manager wasnt able to pick up a phone and take the five mins to inform me they wont work on the stock warranty piece. Communication is that hard.

My service guy Rick is absolutely great. The first time I came in with an issue with my DEF sensor, he knew exactly what to do and did it. Unlike Connell Chevrolet who did absolutely nothing with the exact same information. This time I just needed an oil change and to make sure I was all good for a 6,000 mile trip. Once again, Rick took care of me and replaced my fuel filter which would not have lasted until I returned. The only reason I did not give a 10, is that the DEF sensor began acting up immediately after this last service. Not Ricks fault but maybe an issue with the vehicle. I called Rick to inform him that it was and will document it along my trip. Makes no sense because it performed perfectly from the time he replaced the DEF tank until bringing it in for an oil change and service. Not related as far as I can see but I cant trust the gauge and pray I dont have problems along the way. I know Rick will deal with it when I return.

The first greeter/valet man (I didnt get his name but wish that I did) got me who I needed to speak to regarding my cars situation so quickly. Joe and Mike at the service department were amazing! Where do i begin, I was referred by someone to go to Selman Chevrolet by someone and to see specifically Tommy. WOW were they right he was amazing from the beginning when i made the appointment with him over the phone he asked me to see what i wanted and what my needs were prior to arrive so that i can look at just that when we went to see him. He pulled out everything i asked for and didnt show me what i didnt want to see. Ive never had a easier car buying experience than i did with TOMMY!! He wasnt pushy and made me feel comfortable when arriving to see the vehicle, he was very knowledgeable when it came to explaining everything about the truck itself and i felt like i knew what i was doing on that test drive. I purchased my 2018 Volt from Selman new... This included a warranty for road hazards, windshield chips, lost FOBs, etc... Fast forward 2 years and I brought my vehicle in for service to a damaged tire and rim. After 8 days in the shop, 2 trips to your service department, and 8 days in a self-paid rental car - I received my car back with a brand new door ding! Really? Yes - and I talked with your service manager about it.During this visit they also determined that I had a problem with the suspension - with an estimate of $900+ that will not be covered under warranty because I was in an accident. I might think this was funny but the auto insurance wont cover the repairs because the accident was on the other side of the car! I would have agreed to pay for the repairs and seek reimbursement through my attorney if the repairs are accident related.If its accident related it should be covered by insurance. If not it should be covered under warranty - but apparently you guys could not give me paperwork to make either scenario work for me. For this reason, i will not be buying a Chevy truck this year and will take another look at the Nissan Titan or Ford F150.FYI - This was not my first bad experience with your service department.

The customer service at Selman Chevrolet is consistently A1. They do whatever is needed to make sure you are taken care of and each time I came feeling welcomed and respected. I visited last month and Joe helped fix an issue from a prior unfortunate experience at a different auto shop. They were able to resolve my issue and also fix a separate check engine issue Ive been dealing with for a long time!Bonus, they even have a complimentary ride system where they order you a ride to drop you off and pick you when your car is ready! That is superb customer service. They have a nice waiting indoors also with cubicles and outlets if you need to get your work done. They have plenty of benches outside too for those who rather take in the fresh air. Also shout out to Elizabeth! This dealer service departments is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with and I owner over 80 cars in my lifetime.. They will send you back and forth a million times to get your car fixed. Be super careful if you take a loaner from these people, if you dont go through a super thorough inspection of the loaner, be prepared to get screwed after returning the car. Your cars build quality is as terrible as your service. Never buying a GM product ever again.

Dropping off vehicle was a breeze. However, picking up my vehicle was a bit confusing. I was I instructed to go to the cashier, the cashier asked for my last name and for payment. I asked if everything was fine with my car and was told she only took payment. No one talked to me about service done, did I have any recommendations? Do I need to have any work done? Any recalls? I think they could do better, talk to the customer dont just take our money.Funny how things work, when you want to purchase a vehicle they roll out the red carpet, they are very friendly, you get approached by multiple people, everyone is happy and smiles left and right. Once you purchase your vehicle, and you sign on the dotted line they are done with you and on to the next person. Im sure they make lots of money from the service department how hard would it be for some good customer service so we can return and keep spending money. I mean its a win win situation if the customer leaves happy and satisfied.

This review is for my visit on 3/8/20. I took a trip to Selman to check out a pre-owned Kia Optima Hybrid. I was quickly greeted by one of their sales staff. The salesman was very polite and I appreciated that he was not super aggressive or pushy while we checked out the car. He offered to take us on a test drive which went fine. I liked the car so we continued with the buying process.I wanted to trade in my old car towards the new one and that went very smooth as well. Some of the staff checked out the condition of my car and did some research before giving me an offer which took about 20 minutes. The offer I received was very fair in my opinion and was in line with the average book value so I agreed.The rest of the buying process was very easy and much quicker than other dealerships I have been to. They were able to communicate with my credit union right there at the dealership and sort out the financing. There is always a lot of unavoidable paperwork to sign when purchasing a car but Selman got through it as quick as I could hope for. Overall the entire process start to finish took about 2 hours from the time I first arrived. I have bought many cars from dealerships and that time is about average if not a little quicker than normal. Coupled with the friendly staff and fair deals I consider this a dealership worth visiting and I would definitely return in the future.Extra Tip: I normally pass on any extra warranties offered when buying a car but I did choose to buy an extended warranty on my Optima here. The reason being is I found the warranty to be very cheap for the peace of mind. I was able to get a full coverage warranty for 5 years and it only added about $30.00 to my monthly payment! definitely worth checking out.
