We drove 2 hours from Houston to look at a Mustang they had on the used car lot. Gavan was awesome and Eric got us squared away on financing. Both were very professional and courteous, no pressure. We got the car we had been looking for almost a year and it was hands down the best car buying experience Ive ever had. They came out with a fair price despite the fact that most dealers are gouging folks these days because of the inventory shortages. No dealer in Houston would have done that. Gotta love small town honesty and principles! I wont hesitate to make the drive again just to deal with these great folks. Thanks yall!

This dealer ship sold me a used car on May 7, 2021 and the car broke down on me on June 27, 2021. Something is wrong with the transmission. I understand that you take a certain amount of risk when you buy a used car. The dealer may not have known the car had this defect, but after only having the car 1 month and 20 days, and spending 15,000 on everything, I just paid my first car note. Because Im 20 years old FEMALE and buying my first car, I feel as if I was lied to and taken advantage of. I asked if they could fix it. they said they wouldnt even look at it until July 15th,2021. It broke down on June 27,2021. Im very disappointed with this dealer ship.

Not very happy...a lot of he said she said. Ms. Diane (who was very nice) and then Ms. Debbie(not so much into customer service) They had our truck for over 4 months to replace a starter, glow plug, 2 tires, and some cab lights and batteries that we brought up there. Did not do 1/2 of the things they said they had done like oil and filter change they DID NOT DO.....$1510.00 sadly very disappointed in this Ford establishment. Walked in and told them I already had a Bronco reserved at an out of area dealership. Told them what was being offered as far as incentives and offered to show them. Asked if they would match it, and if so, I would then transfer my reservation to my local dealership. They didnt even get out of their chair.... said no without even looking up at me and went back to what they were doing. Didnt even bother to try and earn my business. To top it off, they werent even friendly about it. The rudest I have ever been treated in any dealership by far! Im a local business owner in Orange and this dealership has lost my support for life.

I called Sabine River Ford 11 times to speak with someone about a part I needed. I wanted to make sure that they had the parts needed to repair my van. I needed some information and told them I would have to.call them back. That was at 4:40 pm...5 minutes later I called them back at 4:45 and got an answering machine. I called back and asked if parts department was open and was told yes until 5:30. 11 calls later (5:20)I am told Oh no..service is open till 5:30, part departent closed at five..#$@###$#%#&&

Flew to Houston just to go to the dealership and buy the vehicle Ive been looking for 6 months ago. I saw it online and called immediately and Billy was able to take care of everything and help me through the process to make everything more smoother. I just needed to fly there, sign paperwork, test drive and was able to make my purchase.The vehicle was missing a part when I bought it, said something about it and the mailed it to me along with my license plates. Dont ever go here.1 appt was then about 12. Simple factory warranty issues, But they mismanaged everything and caused damage that they wont cover bc I didnt see them do it. Ordered parts that they didnt know they already ordered, and no communication. (The mechanic didnt know or care what he was suppose to be doing). Some appts would have little to nothing done bc they didnt know what they were suppose to do.Idk what bubba and the other service manager do, but its little as possible. They use third parties for many things and put the boxes of supplies/parts (to be installed) on the leather seats which damaged the leather...(on top of the other damage by them)..... They tried denying it was them before finally having the damaged leather replaced just to be done with me. They dont cover anything and will get the interior dirty.Do not go here...

Got a great deal, and the service department is awesome. The financial department was great!The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the dealership is dirty, there was no coffee or any amenities that you werent charged for, and the used car manager has zero social skills. He came off that he wasnt happy with his job. Willy, my salesman, was great, but he doesnt work there anymore. This dealership needs some major updates! Once again, the service department was/is awesome!!!

We live in Phoenix, AZ and did our deal completely online. Sabine is located in Orange, TX. Our saleman was Gavan. He was amazing. Constantly stayed in contact with us. My brother went to have his regular maintenance done on a 2019 ford ranger, after they rotated the tires (still covered by the warranty) he drove about a 1/3 mile before noticing something off. Pulls over and he find no lugnuts left on one tire. After calling they show up 20 minutes later to try to put the damaged tire back on. There is no way you can safely reuse a tire that has been wobbling around on the highway. This could not only have cost my brother his life but drivers around him. Thank god it wasn’t worse. Now let’s hope they can replace the tire and rim.

Service was in no hurry to return phone calls to make an appointment. They were not interested in what I said about the problem with the car, but very good at reminding me how much the bill was when I had questions regarding the repair. Yes, the did avoid answering my questions. The most surprising was the employee who told me my car was ready said the closed at five and when we rushed to get there, the door said 5:30. I would not recommend the Sabine Service department, however their Quick Lanes were very efficient.

Well, this was my third trip, trying to address a tire that kept going flat. The repair shop assured me there was nothing wrong with the tire. So when it went flat again. I insisted on them replacing the tire with a new one. It cost me $125.00 plus my time, about 5 hrs. for all three trips and my inconvenience. I will go somewhere else in the future. A little better than Just OK, but seldom feel like a customer thats really appreciated as someone special willing to drive 35 minutes from out of town to have a vehicle serviced there with The Works. Seems to have slid downhill the last year or two from where aiming to please service used to be. This last trip we were told the nitrogen machine is broken so we couldnt get the Nitrofil (sold with our vehicle from Sabine Ford) recharge on that trip. Understood, things happen, but no real apology or effort to make it right, or to explain when or if it would be back in service. Almost had to laugh when told air wont hurt your tires, but a little extra appreciation or discount under those circumstances would go a long way for a customer who went out of their way to make the trip to Orange, with a nitrogen recharge being one of the reasons for bringing it in there- as was mentioned when making the appointment a few days prior. Doing better on a handful of little things would go a long way.

I was on my way home and I lose pressure on my turbo. Didnt open the hood to look at the situation because I know I have a warranty that I paid for, so I didnt think anything of it. I havent driven this truck for 20,000 miles, surely itll be covered and I get it....things happen. I bought a warranty for close to $3000 with being told that the truck would be covered from bumper to bumper, leading me to believe that I wouldnt have to work on anything myself and have it fixed by certified mechanics. I bring it up to the service department, was told about the $225 diagnostic charge. I was explained that if the warranty covers the repair, I would not be charged the $225. I read into my warranty, it states that the turbo is covered. Doesnt say anything about anything related not being covered. I get a phone call about the issue being the inlet piping being broken and the warranty does not cover this. I am told that it would cost ~$750 for the repair on top of the $225 diagnostic charge. I removed the broken pipe and installed the new pipe, in their parking lot, in less time than it took for them to find the part and ring me up. The manager did take a good bit off the price of the pipe, but had I known before hand what I know now, I wouldve saved hours and money.

Experienced a Death wobble scenario on my under warranty 2017 F250.This was a very violent event. Brought it to a trusted mechanic friend of mine for his experience of what may have caused that event. We determined that the passenger side tie rod was faulted. I brought it to the dealership of purchase, Sabine river ford and explained the death wobble event and the tie rod being the suspected culprit. The dealership replaced the steering damper and labeled it as the root cause for the event. Discussed that assessment with my mechanic and he believed that tie rod caused wobble is what blew out the damper. I returned the truck 2 more times complaining about the tie rod, and Sabine ford continued denying any tie rod problems . I kept pleading my case to let me show one of their mechanics the visibly lifting up tie rod upon turning the steering wheel back & forth. I was allowed to crawl under my truck with him to point out what I had been talking about, he took one look and verified to the service manager a faulty tie rod. The rod was finally replaced but I now have no faith in the integrity of my trucks entire steering system after that very violent event . I will no longer allow my wife to drive this truck any more for fear that scenario unfolds again and she panics & totally looses control.After my warranty expires, I will never set foot on Sabine river ford property again, and I am spreading this info through social media. Did a tire rotation and when I left my tire fell off the studs and the lug nuts got lost less than a 1/4 mile away from the dealership.The entire interaction with the service and customer representatives was poor and they seemed to view it more as an inconvenience than an actual issue.

Recently bought a used f-150. While the sales experience was easy enough i started having issues with the truck within the first week of purchase. It started as problems with the radio then problems with the gauges and shifting. I made a service appointment which they set up pretty quickly (2 days later) and brought the truck in. They finished with the diagnostics the same day and reported that the vehicle had 2 warranty extention repairs, a transmission issue and a sync issue. The transmission would be covered by the warranty extension but the sync issues warranty extension had expired and they would not be able to fix it under warranty and I would have to cover repair cost for it ($1100). Now I understand used vehicles come with some risk but the reason for the 3 star review is that i would expect when dealing with a larger more established dealership like Sabine River Ford that all known recalls and warranty extentions to be taken care of before purchase. If i wanted to roll the dice on a used vehicle i would save a bunch of money and purchase from an individual. That being said the salesman, service department and everyone i dealt with was very pleasant and efficient so the experiance has been very painless and more a sign of poor management choices than employee incompetence. For that reason i will no longer be doing business with them after getting the repairs done but do recommend them to others as long as you use the same buyer beware mentality that you would used for shadier car lots and individuals.

Great service weather you buy a vehicle or getting service done to your vehicle. Glad it is in Orange. Freindly staff.I took my truck in for a possible transmission problem. They kept it for a couple of days and thoroughly inspected it for anything wrong and also repair some recalls and update the computer. The service tech said he wanted to do this because of my factory warranty going out soon.I have been pleased with the service they give me and how they respect my wife who has mechanical background. Most service places do not do that. Having a place and a service tech that cares is great. I hope this will not change. Thank you Sabine Ford for the service you give me and my wife as well the support you have for our troops vet and active.
