This place was great! I had my transmission fluid/filter changed and an aux transmission cooler installed on an 02 Isuzu Trooper. Despite the fact that they were pretty booked up they got me in and did all the work for a reasonable price. Ive been checking my trans to see if there are any leaks or issues and there is not. They did a great job and theyre super friendly. Ill definitely be going back! In fact I need my wheel bearings done so Ill probably be giving them a call here soon. I highly recommend them!

Absolutely amazing service!! Not only did they have reasonable prices and take care of my car within a good amount of time, they didn’t try to over charge me or convince me I needed things I didn’t (as some places do). They also did a full inspection to see if there were any issues that may come up soon. They also were the NICEST people!! I don’t think I’ve ever had customer service this amazing before! Olympic Transmission was super great to work with! Our truck had been diagnosed by another shop with having a transmission leak and a rear differential leak. Amanda got us in the next day and was able to give us a quote right away. They also looked at our brakes and we found that they needed work too. All repairs were completed in a timely and stress free manner!

My car broke down coming home from work, and I had it towed to their shop. Not only did they give me a ride home, they inspected the car and let me know what the problem was within a couple hours and had the car finished the next day. Truly appreciate everything they do and incredibly thankful for the job they did.

I had the most amazing experience I’ve ever had at an auto repair shop! Everyone was so genuinely friendly. There was never any pressure to get any additional work done. Everything that was going to happen to my car was thoroughly explained. Carlos and his shop made me feel at home from the start. One Saturday I happened to call after the shop was closed as I was unaware of their hours and it was my first time reaching out to them with an emergency auto issue. Carlos offered to reopen his shop to intake my car. I couldnt believe it. I don’t think many shops out here would do that for a first time customer! I have found the shop that I will be going to from now on in the Lacey area.

I took my car in about a month and a half ago for a blown alternator, I didnt have an appointment but I was able to be seen almost right away. Carlos was very transparent and showed me everything that was wrong with the car and what needed to be done. Everybody I spoke with there was very kind, professional, and personal. I did not have a way home and he even offered me a ride!He knew that I was missing work because of my problem and he was able to get my car fixed the same day and I was able to go into work and make up the time and money I had lost that day. It was very refreshing to receive that kind of treatment from a stranger who acted in a way a caring family member does.The workmanship coupled with the hospitality reminded me of the good people out there who put in a hard days work and want to do the right thing. My car is still running great and I havent had any issues since! If (and when) I need services done in the future, I know exactly where to go. Thank you!

We were on a road trip from Seattle to the coast, and our driveline gradually developed serious vibrations along the highway. Eventually the transmission service warning light appeared, and we knew we were stuck! Even though it was near closing time, Amanda answered my desperate call and said it would be no problem to wait for our tow truck to drop off our car.Carlos completed a thorough inspection on Saturday, and identified the problem. Solved that, and also completed some other thoughtful adjustments.On Monday (on our way back through with our rental car), they took the time to explain all the findings and corrections. Do not bring your vehicle here!!!! So i took my car into them because it was not shifting out of neutral. So they charged me 2000 dollars to Look at my transmission So burnt out of 2000 dollar 9198 to be exact. i got my car back and the problem still prosiest so i looked at the relays and noticed that the transmission relay was out. Went down to the junkyard about 3 miles down bought a 5 dollar relay and boom no problems with my car anymore. Although i am down 2000 dollars for pretty much nothing. I really hope people read this and understand these people are just out there to get your money like every other grease monkey. Iv never felt so ripped off in my entire life by people that where suppose to fix my problem. 0/10

We are long time customers and very satisfied with this business. Recently I brought in an 88 class B-Van with hard to find parts but with their determined attitude of satisfying the customer they solved the problem even after we returned the van because the horn did not work after they replaced the steering column. They worked on the problem until they discovered what the problem was, fixed it with no additional charges to us. I was told by another shop that my vehicle’s pan gasket was bad. I brought my company van to Olympic Transmissions and Auto Care in the Greater Olympia - Lacey Area, and they found out that it was actually a water pump that needed replacement, not the pan gasket. These people are honest and you can’t do better by choosing them for all of your vehicle’s needs.

They were very kind and straight to the point. First experience at a shop where I didnt feel pressured, they care about their customers experience.Did a full vehicle inspection with oil change and new exactly what was wrong with my vehicle.Highly recommend this shop!

I met Carlos about 3 years ago. It was December and we were having below freezing temperatures, and rain/snow mix was coming down late in the afternoon. My windshield wipers were not spraying cleaner, so it just smeared mud all over my windshield. I had to stop several times and clean it by sraying glass cleaner on the windshield. It was late afternoon and I stopped at about 4 machine shops and asked if someone could take a look at it. I received a do it yourself attitude everywhere, being told if you check this, or do that. If I wanted to do it myself, I would have tried to do it, but Im here trying to pay you, a so called professional to look at it and see whats wrong. Then came Olympic Transmission. It was a little after 5 P.M. and Carlos was actually closed, but he greeted me with a smile, and Respect, and shook my hand. He came out and took a look at my truck, and told me what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. Finally, someone who didnt blow me off, talk to me like I was ignorant, and someone who actually cared enough about my safety, even though he didnt know me, to look at my truck. Anyway, Carlos got me in first thing the next morning, and problem solved. All my cars now go to Carlos and nobody else, whether its a problem with something, it just needs maintenance or an oil change. I trust Carlos and his professionalism. In a way, you can say Im trusting him with my life and the lives of my family. My son now drives, and yep, Ive already taken him to meet Carlos. Carlos and his crew are great. Professionals, courteous and respectul 100% of the time. Always great you with a smile, and the work is second to none. First Class!! If your looking for a place that does it right the first time, with exceptional craftsmanship and skill, I would look no further. Mark Maez and his crew do phenomonal work. I took my car in to get the timing belt and water pump replaced for my car on a Tuesday afternoon scheduled to get it back Wednesday afternoon. However, due to a rare unfrotunate circumstance, the shop needed to finish up with a vehicle sooner than anticipated and had to put my vehicle on hold (it was finished on Thursday afternoon instead). The shop felt felt bad about not finishing the job when expected, went ahead and replaced my alternator (which needed replacement soon), air conditioner belt, my power steering, changed my oil, and washed my car all for free! Now thats Service!! As long as Im within a few hours of this shop (I live in Seattle), I will take my car to this place!
