I had an amazing experience this evening at Hanson. My friend Laura Aranda referred me. The sales agent Taylor was amazing and bent over backwards to make this a painless fun event. I left with a wonderful new 2017 Ford Focus. My dream car. All of of the staff were welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend this dealership if you are looking for a new car.

We took our Kia to this dealership because of a check engine light was on. We had always had good experiences with oil changes here in the past. It did not start off well as the guy that was helping us didn’t know what he was talking about. We left our vehicle there and they were horrible with communication. We didn’t know what was going on for over a week. Only found out they were waiting on a diagnostic because I called them. They kept our vehicle for 3 weeks and fixed something with the power train that was covered under the warranty. We had the car back 1 day and the check engine light came back on!! We took it back and they claimed to fix it a second time and kept it a week and a half this time. We got the vehicle back and the check engine light came on 2 days after picking it up. We call them and ask if we drop it off for a 3rd time will they be able to provide us a courtesy vehicle. They claim that is not allowed unless for any type of recall. I asked for a manager to reach out to me and waited over a week with no phone call. We decided not to take the vehicle back to Kia for a 3rd time and took it to a different shop. The shop said the Kia dealership missed securing an O ring and now the oil was slowly leaking. Kia kept our car for almost 2 months and still didn’t fix it! Find a different dealership

We were treated very well by most of the staff. Our sales person Taylor A. She went more than above her job she stayed 2 hours after her shift to make sure we were taken care of. Scott the finance manager also worked extra hard and came back in on his day off to help finish up our deal. Thanks to both of them for our experience we would buy from them again and would gladly send anyone I know that wanted a new KIA to them (Taylor ) for sure she was great. HUGE shoutout to Taylor, our salesperson. She was WONDERFUL! She and the special finance manager worked their magic to get our rate, terms, and payment where we needed it in spite of some credit history issues. We love our new vehicle and we’d easily recommend Hanson Kia to anyone looking for another new or used vehicle in the area. John Watson (the saleman) and the rest of the team and Hanson Kia where very kind and professional when I decided to purchase my new K5 GT-line.. that being said be very careful when agreeing on price.. I feel like I got taken for a ridiculously large $1300 delivery and sanitization fee that later I was told was optional, my fault for not scrutinizing the paperwork close enough.

Started off amazing! But as the time went on, their attention to detail and customer service rapidly declined. My partner faced some discrimination and was ignored the entire time they were there to pick up a spare tire kit for me. (Not to mention this kit wasn’t ordered when I bought the car and had to wait months for it). Once my partner got it, the service team didn’t even install it like they said they would. Just handed my partner the parts and left. Only reason it’s getting 2 stars is because of Carson and how much hard work he did helping us to be able to afford the car when we bought it.(didn’t help I was lied to about what tires I have on the car too)

I would never buy a car from this company. I recently had a c-section and because of the c-section by stomach separated making me still look pregnant. I went into Hanson Kia to buy a Kia Soul. One of the salesmen (not mine) nudged me and said, “I bet it’s a boy.” I told him I wasn’t pregnant and he just walked away. Not one person said anything. I started to cry. The lovely receptionist consoled me and I just left.

I had an amazing rep years ago so i thought. Came back and was basically forced to work with someone else who didn’t seem interested in what is best for the customer. This dealership customer service isn’t the best. They make you feel pressured, try to work “deals” that’s aren’t really deals, isn’t really good at listening to customers wants or needs and tries to make you feel obligated to use their service as if it can’t be found with better service and better information. First off I went there for a specific car that they knew of and waited to tell me they didn’t have it after running my credit and trying to force me in another color and other models and extras I didn’t want. When I refused the terrible deal the guy working the numbers claimed nowhere within 300 miles had it and in his words “it doesn’t exist and I won’t find it” while still trying to force other models and colors down my throat. So I called the next dealership and found my exact model and color for an actual price that I can work with and feeling like I’m getting treated as a customer should. I won’t ever buy or lease from this dealership again.

For the record, I dont live in Washington, nor have I ever been to Hanson Kia in person. I was in search of Kia parts for an engine overhaul, and found their phone number through a website. I spoke with Anthony, and he answered all of my questions and then some! I did auto parts for 12 years on top of 21 years total dealing with cars as a career, and I can say with confidence that he is top tier when it comes to automotive professionals. Ill be happy to place my order when the time comes, and Ill gladly wait for shipping because I know Im dealing with a top notch organization. Greetings from Texas!

If you’re looking for a female sales rep who won’t pressure you at all and who will treat you with respect and care, ask for Taylor Alvarado. This is the first time I’ve purchased a vehicle without having to endure misogynistic behavior. It was awesome to be able to tell Taylor what I was looking for, hear the information relevant to my priorities and then test a half dozen vehicles in the rain without any unpleasantness. So refreshing! Added bonus: She’s LGBTQ+ friendly too!I am so happy with the jeep she helped me find and even happier with the easy experience. The next time I buy, I will absolutely seek her out.

I called to make an order on some locks found out that it was not what I needed after I had already given them my credit card information called back and canceled the order within this time they had already tried to process my card and accidentally refunded me the parts cost didnt check the notes for me canceling the purchase and then double charged me to make up for their loss. No one seems to talk to anybody no one can pass a message no one looks at the notes and they cant seem to process an order correctly on top of that the guy in the parts department seemed like it was a hassle the whole time previous we trying to make the order what a circus theyre running over there.

We took our KIA in last week because our wipers stopped working. We knew it wasnt the fuse. Well they said the motor on it was shot and would be 800.00 to replace. Luckily we had someone look at it and a screw had come off and that was the issue. They alo lied about the roters needing to be replaced. Avoid them.

When I think about a dealership experience, I think about an online experience that matches reality, and realistic pricing for a product and its market.We discovered a Stinger GT (base GT, not the GT1/2) at Hanson Kia with a Northwest Adjustment worth about 5k extra compared to whats listed on their website, and the base MRSP. Keep in mind, Stinger sales are slow enough that Kia has announced there may not be a second generationAs far as the market, the BMW M340i is a competitive (and arguably better) product; BMW is offering 10%+ off on those at the dealer with even better lease deals than a cheaper Kia due to stronger resale value... meanwhile Hanson is asking for 10% extra on a base Stinger GT.

The service advisor Tracy is actually the worst, she was so unkind and rude and talked down to me as if I didn’t know anything about my vehicle because I look feminine. She absolutely needs to be spoken to and I would suggest a demotion until she can figure out how to treat your loyal customers.

My husband and I went around the Olympia auto mall, but we stopped first at Hanson Kia. Eric F. was the first person to acknowledge our existence, asked what we were looking for and gave us a couple of different options to look at. I didn’t want to buy the first thing we saw, but after going to other dealers and no one even greeting us, we knew we had to go back. Turns out, we bought exactly what he suggested based on our needs AND wants. I was still grieving our old car so I wasn’t too attached at first but now I am absolutely smitten with our 2016 Mazda 3 Touring. I did not know that I needed a Touring in my life, but driving 100 miles a day, I’ve realized now what I’ve been missing. Eric knew it right from the start. We are so happy we went to Hanson Kia and met Eric. Funny, personable, and down to earth. We didn’t feel pressured the way we have at other dealers. #grateful!

I went into Kia to purchase my first vehicle that I would be making payments on. I was exhausted and went in after working a 16 hour shift. I was obviously tired and shouldn’t have gone into a dealership. That was my fault. They took advantage of how tired I was. I had gotten a price verbally negotiated down on a vehicle and they through that out the window on the paperwork. Charged me $2000 more than the negotiated price on a $15000 vehicle. It is my fault for going in tired but they took complete advantage being knowing of that fact. Will not purchase a vehicle here again.

The service there from some is incredible, from others, not so good. Wish I would have went somewhere else. My first car buy there was amazing but my second time was definitely a 360 turn.

My husband and I have been wanting to buy a new car for a while. We came in skeptical but hopeful to find the perfect car for us (the last experience we had car shopping did not go well) we pulled up and Mickey instantly greeted us; we told him ourSituation and he immediately started showing us options and giving us so much information on each car. He answered all our questions, and let us test drive the cars we were interested in. At the end of the visit we drove away in our brand new car that Mickey cleaned AND filled up with a full tank of gas! Honestly the best customer service ever! While I can appreciate a low pressure sales person, the salesman we spoke with was less then enthusiastic and did not seem interested AT ALL in helping us from the start. We started our process with the internet department who invited us in to test drive, which we gladly accepted. When we arrived there was a sales rep on the floor watching the tv and the receptionist, who was in a call. The receptionist nicely let us know she would be with us shortly as she was on a call. The sales rep (no Introduction provided) overheard and said “oh there’s people” and came over to see if we had been helped. We let him know we were looking for Don in the internet department and he took our name and went to get Don. He returned shortly after and said “well I guess I’m helping you” and proceeded to show us the K5 we discussed. When asking the difference between the K5 and the Optima, the only answer he provided was that the K5 is longer and wonder and the equivalent to the optima in Korea. He immediately tried to tell me about a used vehicle that was much more expensive. We asked about other trim levels and he showed us another option and brought up the used vehicle again. We agreed to look and went outside but he did not know where it was located. As we wandered the lot, he continued to make comments implying he was not interested in helping us and we decided to leave.This was the second time we have attempted business here with an unpleasant experience. We will surely be doing business elsewhere!

Big on promises, small on delivery.We bought a Kia Sportage 2 months ago. Part of the agreement was for the dealership to provide me with 2 items that were missing from the car, floor mats and knobs for the radio. I had to call 3 times before the knobs were found for me, and I finally just stopped calling about the floor mats. It was pretty clear the salesperson I was working with just wanted to get me off the phone. I also found the blue lockbox in the backseat, I figured it’s probably a little speedy. I offered to bring it back when I pick up the floor mats, but haven’t heard from him.

This dealerships sales tactics are reminiscent of 1970s sleezy car sales. My mom went in to look at a model they didnt have so they tried to stuff her into something else. They had her drive from where it was on the lot to the front and called that a test drive. They had her sit with finance which she thought was to see what kind of rates she could get. Next thing she knows they are taking her stuff out of her car in bags and transporting it to their car. She said she didnt want to buy that one she wanted to take her own car home and they said she couldnt because they put her keys in a lock box and didnt have the keys. They claimed she had to take the other one and she bought it. I wish she called the cops then. They didnt send her home with any paperwork. She also said they charged a $3k covid cleaning fee when they shared numbers with her. Fortunately she went in the next morning with my dad and while they were still claiming she bought it, she called her credit union and said dont process any paperwork, she doesnt want this car. Then all the sudden they said oh ya you didnt buy it, gave her her keys and scooted her out. Such a miserable experience and she doesnt want to shop for a car anymore based on fear of being treated like this again. Shame on them! Buyers beware! Please take my advise and skip this location.

I was in the market for a third row SEATING, AWD suv. This place took advantage of me and my fiancée. I told them how much I could put down, they waited to run my credit for when I had my fiancée there with me. Almost a month has gone by and we are still getting credit loan applicant denial letters. Hanson Kia and their finance manager dropped my credit down 22pts then have the never to email my address and address it to my fiancée for any other needs or cars he may want since they sold the other one. Mullinax was way BETTER.!!!

The salesmen are tuned into what you are looking for they take the time to talk to you about what you are looking for in a vehicle and keep in mind what your price point is. From the front desk to the parts Department they all are down to earth people and very professional and friendly and accommodating. I was introduced to the General Manager Frank talk about a professional Man and very accommodating he invites you to come see him with any questions or concerns you might have that might come up that cannot be answered by the salesmen. Service dept. is a joke. I had a 10:00am appt. on 12/28/2020. I dropped off a 2017 Kia Forte on 12/27/2020 for a large amount of warranty repairs. Tail lights full of water, trunk full of water, and blower motor went out. I was supposed to pick it up on Wednesday, and I had to pay to rent a car as they would not provide one. Wednesday came and no phone calls, so I called at 4:55 pm and was told by Todd that the wrong part came in and they had to reorder, it would be ready Thursday. I called again on Thursday at 4:55 pm and was told they had left early and will be closed Friday, I cant get my car back until Saturday. I spoke to Lee Jackson, who promised I would be take care of and reimbursed for the extra days car rental.Three more days of car rental fees. I will never buy a Kia again, not because of the cars, or the salespeople, but because of this service dept. It is now 01/02/2021 and I am now paying for a ride up to get my car today hopefully. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.Update: I just picked up my car, and went to speak with Lee Jackson. He said take it up with the service Dept. it has nothing to do with him. I mentioned I have purchased 5 Kias and will not be buying anymore from them. He got angry and told me to leave since I was threatening him by saying I would not be purchasing any more vehicles from them. They have my money and dont care anymore. I leave and notice the tail lights are still not working. They resealed the lights but did not change the bulbs. 30 mile drive home with no tail lights in the pouring down rain. KIA defective repairs cost me $206.73 after paying for rental car for 6 days, new tail lights and $40 to go pick it up. I have never been treated so horrible by a company before.

I had a Toyota Tacoma and was ready to trade it in for something new. I reached out to our sister Subaru store in the automotive group that I worked for and was treated like dirt. I was told by an internet sales manager that I was “preventing them from getting sales” after I messaged them about a WRX to see if it was available. I obviously felt discouraged, until I reached out to Hanson Subaru about a BRZ. I was met with the upmost kindness and respect. I worked with Jaun who was extremely helpful during the whole buying process. At the end of it all, I got the BRZ and left with a great feeling. Even after the buying process, I still had to turn my truck in to them. I live an hour and half north of Olympia and drove my truck down to leave it with them. The store was closed because the power went out (I was not aware of that). I called Juan and he drove all the way back to the store to insure they got my trade in. That was great customer service. I will surely be going back to do business with them and recommend them to my friends and family.

Jon was our sales guy. Super nice man, even stayed an hour pasted purchasing just talking about life.When it comes to the overall experience, one thing I found annoying was the $700 Covid cleaning fee. I don’t feel like that should be up to the buyer to pay for the car be cleaned properly during a pandemic. That should just come standard. On top of that, they handed us the keys before we even signed anything and the car stayed parked the entire time. It was not even detailed. There was still dirt on the floor mats, somebody else’s hair in the cup holder, and the outside could of used a wash. On top of not even knowing if they truly did the sanitation because it looked no different then when we test drove the vehicle.When it comes to their “lifetime warranty” they say it comes with the car, but it’s really an extra $30 a month. If you don’t purchase it the same day, you won’t be able to get it later. Did not find out about that until we got to the finance part. Overall, I would recommend this dealership . You just have to be able to stand up for yourself, and fight for the price you want. We were able to get a good discount on the car we wanted,.the most shady thing about this place would just be that $700 Covid charge.

My wife and I stopped by to check out the 2021 Seltes. Very friendly and courteous salesmen available for assistance. Knowledgeable of the product lines etc. And Not pushy. Very enjoyable experience. Its possibly too early for the big inventory of 2021 models. Love to see the EX and the turbo models for the Seltes, which is our reason for coming and your dealership the closest. We are looking to purchase about 8 months out. Got some time to do more researchMy rating is based on my contact with salesmen and sales knowledge of the product .

We had a situation where we had brought our Kia in to get fixed but found out that it would cost us a lot more than what we paid for it to fix it. Ashaun in the Service Department really looked out for us. He linked us to one of the salespeople, Lucas, who did a great job explaining what our options were. We were kind of concerned about pursuing purchasing another car, but Penny, David, and Bobbi in the Finance Department reassured us and walked us through financing and it went pretty smoothly. There was good communication and we felt taken care of. Overall, a great experience!

Staff is extremely helpful and answers all of my questions to my satisfaction, and I ask A LOT of questions, if one person doesnt know they find someone who does. They are patient and understanding from the top down, my entire experience here is always excellent. They seem to understand buyer loyalty and they act like they want to be the only people I ever buy a car from. Ive bought three cars from Hanson Kia: Forte, Sportage turbo, and Optima Premium, and will soon buy another for my wife, she loves my new Optima Premium. I dont think Ill ever buy anywhere else, they treat me like family and always exceed my expectations.

Went in looking for a small SUV, interacted with a man named Karson. Extremely nice and understanding, took the time to find us several different options in our price range. Great customer service without being pushy, he wanted to her help us instead of sell us. We are very grateful and definitely will return again for our next car! Go see Karson, he is the best!

Guy kept trying to sell me cars and didnt seem to understand my needs or wants. Kept trying to make me feel bad for how hard he had been working. I get it. Long hours are hard. His AND mine. I did end up buying a Kia, just not here. I went to Tacoma Car Pros and will continue to do so.

We dropped the Kia off for an oil change and tire rotation on a Sunday night. We also stated that the tire stems needed to be replaced and that we wanted to know the cost. Specifically we said that we have an estimate for replacing the tire stems laying on the front seat from Firestone for approx $100. If Kia can complete the work for the same amount or lower then it was ok to complete the work. We received a confirmation email that said the Kia was at the service dept. and awaiting an oil change. Due to conflicting work schedules we were unable to pick the car up until the following Friday. In that 5 day time period the service advisor never called either vehicle owner at all. I finally called on Wednesday and offered to pay over the phone so that we could pick the car up after hours if needed. The service advisor still did not mention any of the work that was performed and I assumed that a bill of approx $180 was $100 for the tire stems, approx $50 for the oil change, and approx $30 for the tire rotation so I did not question the amount. I advised I had a email coupon and the advisor applied that coupon. When we picked up the car we found that the oil had not been changed at all (this was the primary purpose for dropping off the Kia) and the tire rotation was not done. We reviewed the invoice and the invoice shows that ONLY the tire stems were replaced at a cost of $180 approx. That is it! Based on my description above you know that Kia did NOT have authorization to replace the tire stems UNLESS THE COST WAS EQUAL TO OR LESS THAN THE FIRESTONE QUOTE OF APPROX $100. So Kia had access to the car for 5 business days & did not complete the work that was authorized (oil change and tire rotation) but did complete the work that was not authorized for an outrageous cost! When I complained the service advisor Ashaun was called at home and he offered a free oil change. I disagree with Ashauns solution and expect additional consideration.

I had a reasonably good experience buying a car at Hanson Kia, but my experience with the service department has not been good.First, there were a couple of delivery defects with our car. I would hope that a dealer would prioritize fixing these. They did not. It took a week to get an appointment, then the appointment was really not honored.Most recently, I took the car in for an oil change. They insisted on first doing an alignment check right at the front end. They generated a piece of paper showing the alleged alignment results, and proceeded to try to sell me an alignment. I took their alignment check, left the dealer, and went to a very reputable local tire dealer who I have used for more than 40 years. They took one look at the alignment check, and pointed out that they had applied a much stricter standard than the owners manual does for what constitutes alignment. Or, put another way, nobody could pass that test. They put it on their own alignment rack, and it got all green lights for camber and toe-in on all four wheels. So I think they tried to scam me.They need to learn some customer service skills and some integrity. Its 25 miles to the next Kia dealer, but I had a good experience with them, and will visit them again.

Went in ready to buy a car, and myself abd a buddy were talking to a salesman that was rather friendly. He showed me a car that I was dead set on if I could get the payments where I could afford them. We sat and waited for over 2 hours to get info on payments. We were approached only twice and told, were working on it. When we left, our salesman was in the sales office talking about his vacation he took.

I was extremely pleased with how easy it was to purchase a new car! After having my previous vehicle for 12 years, it was time for a change. I spent about 90 minutes from choosing a car to walking out the door! I have to give a lot of credit to Nathan who was knowledgeable and friendly!
