I would like to give a massive thank you to Ryan at Howards Towing! After a shady competitor left me high and dry after 4 missed promised pick up times that left me stranded for over 11 hours on the side of the road Ryan showed up and really helped me out! I was over an hour away and he was there in an hour and a half. He even made sure I was OK as I was pretty dehydrated and not doing too well from being stranded in the heat. He took excellent care of my car and was very friendly. Howards Towing is my go to for any issues in the future! I highly recommend this business if you want fast dependable service and no missed pick up times! Thank you Howards and especially thank you Ryan! Showed up on time. Super fast and didnt chat much. Just how I like it.

Was told I had a bad starter...I knew it was fine...Left my lights on and drained battery... He hooked up jumper cables, but did not turn over... He didnt leave them on for a few minutes to chg my battery a little... Didnt have a truck big enough to tow my motorhome, called another company who had a large jump starter box, engine started immediately...

Absolutely amazing service! I was stressed out stuck on the side of the freeway and they sent someone out in less than 30 minutes. The driver (PJ) was extremely quick to get the car towed and unloaded, he even made sure my car was close to my apartment building so I didn’t have a long walk. My car was rear ended on Thursday afternoon on I-5 in Olympia. State Patrol called tow trucks to the scene before my insurances road side assistance got there. I reluctantly went with the tow on the scene. Big mistake! Howards Towing told me my car would be dropped off at my insurances designated collision place in the morning and that they would call me. When I didnt hear from them, I called Howards. They told me they took my car to the collision place, but didnt drop it off since they wouldnt pay them for the tow...?!! I asked them why they didnt bill my insurance. They said they didnt do that. Why didnt they call me??? No answer to that one... My insurance contacted them to arrange pick up of my car to the collision place. My agent described the person at Howards as very rude. In the meantime I received a notice from Howards threatening to sell my car if I didnt pay them the storage fee and tow fee. I get wanting to be reimbursed, but we were in process of getting things taken care of. Car is totaled, and I was stressed out enough as it was without this extra drama. Never again! I will only deal with my insurances roadside assistance from now on.

My husband and I couldnt have asked for a better experience. We shopped around for an affordable rate, and were surprised with the quote price. Bret arrived within 20 minutes, was very polite and helpful. He found a faster route to our final destination (as to charge less per mile), and got us there safely. Bret was very honest, efficient, and affordable- giving us a discount off of the already affordable quoted price. Highly recommend this driver! Thank you Bret!

The employees I met made a towed vehicle situation, which is usually unpleasant, a very tolerable one. They were helpful. I was able to get my car fixed up to driving condition again through the efforts of their mechanic. They went above and beyond with their customer service.

The only reason I didnt give this place a one star is because they were nice in the beginning. What I hated was the fact that I paid them to tow my broke down car to their place so they could figure out why it was starting but then sputtering back off. They said it was just the battery and replaced it for me and so they said that nothing else was wrong at all. WRONG. not A MONTH later does the car start doing the same thing. So I called again to explain What happened and what do I get? It will cost you about $80 to tow it to our place so we can look at it. Until then, I cant see whats wrong. Thats the whole point! They were supposed to figure that out the first time but didnt and I kept trying to convey this but all I got again that they couldnt tell what was wrong until they saw it AGAIN I guess. May be nice people but was I satisfied? Absolutely not. I dont appreciate the dishonesty I got from them stating that they looked up and down that car and couldnt find a thing wrong except the battery when obviously the problem was far from fixed.

I called early this morning, trying to get to a new job on time. The driver was willing to come before they open. When he got there, he was able to figure out I had a problem with my starter and he got my car running. So I didnt have to pay for a tow. That kind of honesty means they are first on my list to call.(For the lady with all the problems, angry over the police tow charge, realize that everyone who has a tow calls with a sob story. Some are true, some are not. You have to be tough when listening to them. As for the $400, they take a big risk. They may never get paid. They have to store the car a certain number of days, which takes space on their lot, and then they have to go through the hassle of selling it without title to try to get some compensation. It was not unreasonable.) And no, I dont work for a tow company and never have. (Or related to anyone who has.)

Was there within 20 minutes of a cold call, did his job quickly, took extra care not to damage my dropped axle, and got me to the repair shop in a timely manner. Idk anything about pricing, but it was slightly cheaper than I expected.

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! I have been dealing with a child with inoperable brain cancer. When you think things cant get worse, her brothers car gets stolen. Unfortunately, he only had liability insurance because he couldnt afford anything else. The scumbags that stole it drive it to Olympia, strip it and light it on fire. On top of this, he fractured his hand the next day. Thurston County dispatch calls him in the middle of the night to tell him his car was found and he needs to come pick it up. With no car and a broken hand, he says he has no way to get it so they ask him, Do you want us to have it towed for you? Since he is young and has never dealt with anything like this, he mistakenly thinks they are offering to help a crime victim and makes the mistake of saying yes. The next day, the prick from Howards Towing calls my son demanding $400 for towing the vehicle a short distance! My son is off work due to his injury and has no money. I am pouring every extra cent I have into my other kids cancer treatment. I call Steve myself, explain our recent run of terrible luck, and ask him to just give my kid a bit of a break on the excessive charges. He tells me, I dont care about your problems. All I want is my money and if he doesnt pay me I will sue him for it. So, not only are they dishonest and charge inflated prices, Steve is a heartless, soulless bastard who deserves to be run into bankruptcy. Please help this happen by never using this business for anything. And if you see Steve, tell him what a worthless piece of crap he is and that he better hope that, if he ever finds himself in a bad situation, that the person he deals with gives him more of a break than he gave us. And if they dont, he is getting what he deserves. Thanks!

Paid a bill from a wreckage from them 4 years ago. They sent me to collections, never contacted in all that time or anything. Im looking at my receipt right now for 400 dollars. Keep your receipt when dealing with them, whoever does their paperwork isnt too shabby

Such a rude and horrible business. He is an hour late and when called and asked how much longer he’s going to take, he hangs up and is rude. How does that make any sense. I try to be nice but you don’t treat customers that way. Do not come here unless you want horrible service and you want to be late to work.

On 1/12/2018, Howards Towing came and picked up my F250 that had preexisting damage that was located at the FRONT of the vehicle. Upon arriving at the Collision center, they took me to my truck and then realized that $3,500 worth of damage that was quoted wasnt previously there. The new damage was on my back left fender. I took pictures that are time stamped of my truck before, during, and after it was dropped off proving they were the ones who caused the damage, along with 50+ people stating the truck was damaged upon arrival. At first, they were super cooperative and nice then all of a sudden started making claims that the damage was already there then switched it to the fault of the Collision Center. They cant even keep their story straight. This is definitely the worst experience I have ever had with any business and I will be in contact with the Wahington State Patrol and a lawyer. They are rude, degrading, and cant even own up to their mistakes.

Exactly who you want to help you out, on a Sunday night during dinner, in the rain when your car breaks down. So many automotive and towing companies have the reputation of trying to gouge you but they seem like they want to serve their community.

Cold hearted, money grubbing, vultures. Took our 26 year old sons motorcycle after he was in an accident on Thursday July 2nd, 2015. He is in critical condition at St. Peters hospital. I get a letter 6 days later from them stating that they have his bike and we have 120 hours from the time they hauled it in to pick it up. I go down to get it and they want $675 to reclaim it. It is a twisted ball of junk. I tell them that he is an Army Ranger with the 2nd of the 75th and that he did two tours in Afghanistan and is in the Wounded Warrior program. Greg tells me that there is nothing that he can do about the bill so there it is. Our son may never walk again as his spine was snapped in the wreck and he has severe head injuries. A week after the wreck he still cannot move his legs or talk. All I wanted was to just get what was left of his bike back for him in case he makes it through this.Howards Towing is just in it for the money and they dont give a rat about our military guys and any problems they may have. Please dont do business with these scumbags.Thanks for reading this and I hope it strikes a cord with some of you.

Howards towing illegally towed my vehicle and is now holding my belongings. They are refusing to let me get my ID and my daughters stuff from the hospital (footprints, birth certificate, etc.) Horrible business
