Well my son saw toys here he wanted instead of looking up a correct price they grabbed a random toy to scan in so there will be inventory problems here. Also my checkers were gossiping on how they could write a book on how horrible there customers are and I could write a book or this review to let you know how frustrating and lazy the employees are at this location its obvious they hate there job and customers

They have a surprising selection of items! I frequently look through their home decor and garden department for new and exciting finds for my home. The cleaning and organization selection is also pretty good for a discount store. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because the aisles tend to be disorganized, making it more difficult to find things.

This place must be going out of business. Back in the day it was the greatest store in that strip, but everything goes. Place has very little and prices are high for what the do have and watch sale signs they were all over but nothing on sale so make sure you look and ask before buying anything is my thoughts.

We go here a few times each year just to see what they are currently doing. Took my daughter to purchase Christmas lights. They always have a huge Christmas assortment at very reasonable prices. This year, Christmas lights and outside decor was gone before December 1st. Couldnt believe it. If you are looking for a deal in seasonal items, this is worth checking out.

Went in for a daybed that said they have them but they did not. Also they could not tell me when they would be getting one in. Went to another bigots in Martin City and the same response. If your advertise says take home now then a customer should be able to take home now. The daybed was $388.00 with out tax. Also we were told that we could not buy the display. Big lots you lost out. Will not be returning.

Found exactly what I needed. Great price. The staff was very helpful. I love that you carry such a wide variety of items.

Entered without a mask, they informed me their policy was that you had to have a mask to shop with no exceptions. I said I respect that and I will leave. Another customer then decided that they would threaten me with violence for not wearing a mask and the manager standing there did absolutely nothing. I left, but the violent customer was allowed to continue shopping.

Am not too impressed on this being a discount store. Prices tend to run high in my view. It is also difficult to navigate through some of their departments. The ladies who work there were very pleasant though.

Pretty typical for a big lots, good prices on most things, overall the building is a bit of a mess but it is what it is. Weve bought both vacuums here, a handful of furniture pieces, food, various yard items... You get the point. They have everything and theyre cheap.

Their lack of communication between each other is horrible one day something is on sale and then they take the tag off and charge the regular price as the other stuff what kind of business is that

I hope they are renovating. The place was trashed. Prices higher than Walmart. Mostly Garbage. Waste of time.

Love going in to see what is new. Seems like there was a layout change and once it was finished, some of the products were left off of the shelves. Hopefully, by the next time I need them, the paint brushes will be back!

It was great! I was wondering around because I didnt know where my items were and a gal helped me find it. Just wasting time before work. Although yall didnt have the 6 pack bottle of DIET Dr. Pepper that I keep in my locker for work. Other than that theres always someone that ask me if I need anything.

Incredibly rude and unprofessional management. In the middle of a phone conversation discussing a negative experience I encountered on Monday, Sept. 28th, the store manager Beverly actually hung up on me. Beverly refuses to take any accountability for her behavior and actions. I have never had such a negative retail experience in my life. As a store manger, Beverly should know better and conduct herself in a more professional manner. Beverly also kept referencing a store protocol regarding how a customer is supposed to handle any return items upon entering the store. To my knowledge, this “protocol” does not exist and clearly is not an official corporate policy as I’ve looked on the website and there is absolutely no mention of what Beverly kept referencing. Hoping this is merely reflective of the individual (Beverly) and not the corporate brand as a whole. I’ve had discussions with the district manager and the exchanges have all been professional and handled well.

Nice place to get things(household stuff) for a nice low price. Cereal to pots and pans and bedroom sheets and covers. Very nice to get gifts for any occasion.

Dr. Teals bath wash and lotions are of superb quality compared to some of the expensive products carried at other stores and online. The Shea Butter, lavender, ginger and other products are awesome and at a price point of $5 or less for the big bottle, Big Lots is a winner. Trust me, you have to try them to believe it.

Friendly staff that is always helpful. I can find just about anything I might need without the hassle of parking. No greeting card section anymore.

The prices have risen. $24 for a pair of womens pajamas. They used to have good deals but today everything was so overpriced. :(

This store is ok, not great. They are doing a good job keeping shelves stocked and the store in good shape. It seems like they have moved away from being mainly closeouts and have a fairly standard inventory of items now. Theyre still good deals, but not the same concept as when I first started going there 7+ years ago. Some of the employees were not real happy the day I went in. The parking lot is in pretty bad shape.

Every time you go into a Big Lots its like a different store with the same name. Their items change constantly. I love that! Its always a fun store to go to and the clerks are fun and knowledgeable.

Good experience today. Took a moment to get extra help on the registers but I went in for a specific item that was on clearance. Fortunately for me they still had what I wanted.

Fairly good selection across the board, though the building is older and not as large as some other locations around the area. As such, some selections (ie furniture) arent as large as other KC stores.

Never go with a list, we enjoy the treasure hunt. Always great deals and unique finds

It has been several years since I have been to Big Lots. Prices have certainly raised. The store was clean and neat. Check out was very slow and inefficient.

I love that as soon as you walk in, they greet you. Also, if they see you walking through the store, they ask if they can help. If you say no thank you, they tell you their name and let you know that if you need anything to ask for them.Great customer service.Clean store as well.
