This was my first time at this store, and I will be back. The place was clean, well organized, prices were reasonable, staff was friendly. The only downside I saw was the parking lot, and I dont blame them because that parking lot was awful way before Maj-R Thrift showed up. Since I dont mind dodging a few pot holes in order to get a good deal, this place is definitely a new favorite of mine.

Honestly their prices are absolutely rediculous lately. My last trip I didnt receive my receipt didnt realize until I was home but paid with card and the price of my items verses what I was charged arent even close! So basically he ripped me off right to my face A LOT!! Such a joke! Their loss because I frequently shopped here but no more! Id be better to go to Walmart and buy new things for what they charge! There are plenty of thrift stores in the area so its no big deal to lose one especially if they have a practice of being shady with charging customers these days! This place was great when they first opened last year its declined tremendously such a shame because they would do alot better if they kept their prices at a thrift store level! Oh well I guess on to the others to do what you should do at thrift stores save money and make it so I can afford some extras!

Wondering who is pricing things now!! $6 for used stuffed animals?? (Garage sales = 50 cents-$1). Regular drinking glasses $1.49 each?? (.25 - .49 elsewhere). USED tubes of body creams $7.99??? Guess I will mark this thrift shop off my list. It used to have decent prices - not anymore! Back room manager, watch your overpriced items sit on the shelves, accumulating. You are between 2 stores with NEW items sooo much cheaper! What are you thinking??

I love shopping at Maj-R Thrift!! I can find lots of amazing items. Love the colored discount tags and the rewards program. There are mainly 2 big complaints I have. No bathrooms! What about kids? Well just people in general need a bathrooms!!! The other I feel prices have gone up lately. Some of us live to shop here, its how we clothe ourselves as well as our family.

I really enjoy going to work everyday. I absolutely love Epsy and Marcella. Different personalities but love them all the same! Thank you Jesus for my job. I love it! 💓

A really nice place to go if you want to buy some good Bargains because they are in there. The staff was very kind and friendly and of the place was very organized and clean. I gave them five stars congratulations

Amazing!! Such a cute and clean store with amazing sales, got lots of great t-shirts and sweaters for these cold winter months. The manager on duty dawn was so kind and helpful while checking us out I cant wait to go back to get my clothes for the summer as well. Good finds.

This is by far the best thrift store I have ever been to. Everything was clean and organized, with social distancing markers throughout. I was able to find some really high quality products with the help of the manager, Dawn. I highly recommend visiting!

Not real exciting. Greeting was minimal and the person seemed unhappy. Not a second trip kind of store.

Major Expensive. Ive been thrifting most of my life and I understand procing varies on popation, city, items, etc but geesh the pricing was ridiculous. And no greeting upon entrance. Its a no from me.

Always a good find or two here. Not my favorite thrift store, but it is one of the better ones in the area. The staff is always great and almost every time I find something I need there.

My favorite thrift store! I used to shop in the one in Topeka so I was glad to find this one when I moved. The staff are always helpful & they have the best selection of puzzles & childrens toys of any thrift store Ive ever been to. Their clothes are usually well organized as well.

WAY over priced. No consistency with pricing either, Ive shopped here a lot through the years something has changed since my last visit. I wont be back.

I donated today four large boxes and a bag of assorted items. I called before I left to make sure someone was going to take the items. When I got there, there was nobody to take them and the intake area was discusting. There was trash and glass everywhere. The inside of the store is fine but the back of the store needs work.

Its nice how people donate clothes and other stuff to a thrift store and then the store Marks those items like they were almost new. Thank you for being so thrifry.

Very organized used clothes. It was half price today on clothes so I found some good bargains for summer.

Solid thrift. Prices could be lower for 2nd hand but e-commerce raised the prices for all of us.

The employees here are so nice and its guaranteed you will find at least 3 things you love every time you walk in. Its also super cheap!! Cheaper than other thrift stores because they like to keep their inventory moving! Its so good. Also they do sales every now and again!

Found a working floor lamp! The lady at the desk was very helpful, she let us plug it in and make sure it worked. Plus i found 2 pairs of jeans for my 6 yr old and spent less than 30 dollars. Just be careful on discount items sometimes they ring them in full price.

Love this place, I have found some cute name brand clothes cheap. And a ton of shoes. Also very clean. Employees are great.

A ton of stuff, a ton of nice stuff but the prices on the majority of items are ridiculously high. As in, with a few extra bucks, I could get some of those items brand new from the store. Also, if you happen to go there at a time that is not too busy, you might end up waiting around longer than you should for someone to check you out.

Its a great place to go if youre finding a unique gifts or anything that you need around the house. Love it

I see used items in this store for regular price if they were new, or sometimes more. My fiance found a Walmart brand pair of boots that were priced 10 dollars more than they would be bought new. They do not have very good quality control of the goods going onto the floor. Things should look new or next to new. The shoes are disgusting. They sell things that are way worn down and should be in the trash. A lot of the toys are missing pieces are are dirty or colored on. The baby clothes are not organized by size so it makes it impossible to find anything that will fit a child. The books are SUPER overpriced, when everyone else charges 99 cents, they charge 2 dollars. I chose out a stack of books one time just to literally put them all back because I was not paying 2 dollars a piece. most of the kids books are written in or are falling apart. They price anything they know is valuable at new cost, and the things they have no idea about are dirt cheap. I got a $450 brand new designer bathrobe here for around $8...literally because they had no idea what it was. I found a play kitchen priced at $40 and when I opened it, it had mouse poop all over the inside... They have no idea what they are doing. The store is trashed and disorganized. They need someone to clean up, because his store is basically full of trash. By far the worst thrift store in the KC metro area

So many things to choose from it will make your head spin! Although presentation is not the greatest, its great choices for the money. Always running specials of the week! Worth the search to find something youll like.

Went looking for boy boots and a girls backpack. No luck on the boots but found a backpack for 2.50. Happy with purchase!

I must say, I was kinda disappointed with the items this store had to offer. However, I know thrift stores inventory is constantly changing so maybe it was an off day? Ill follow up at a later date.

Really enjoyed the variety and the setup of the store. The clerk was helpful and I got a few items at a great price.

This place is wildly overpriced! Im not the poorest person that would shop there but I will not go again. They had shelves at Walmart for 28 dollars and they are marked over 30 at this place! Thrift stores are for people who need help getting essential items and this place is NOT THAT PLACE! they arent here to help anybody like they used to be they only care for the money now. I dont recommend it AT ALL and they dont even deserve 1 star in my opinion!

Huge selection of used inventory. They are much larger than the other thrift stores in the area. The only thing that could be better is organization and pricing could be a little lower.

Its a business, trying to stay in business, like everyone with one exception, Walmart. They acquire unusual items that must be priced everyday. Probably not the easiest job. Its not Walmart and thank God that its not. I appreciate the store and the good souls running it.Someone shut this Bishop.

As others have said, I used to go in here to shop. Today I went in looking for a cheap table or desk to do a project for the kids. I noticed that they had raised all of their prices by quite a bit. $25.00 for a tore up cheap metal desk? $120.00 for a severely scratched and chipped coffee table? Their prices are stupidly ridiculous for the merchandise that they are selling. I went over to check out the toys, as Ken dolls are hard to find. I found a couple of packages, one of which was filled three dolls. Two of the dolls in that package had broken heads that had been attempted to be hidden by a high necked shirt. Out of principle, and because I was disgusted with their greedy prices, I just didnt buy the other package. Save your money. Go to a garage sale or Good Will or something similar. Stay away from this place if youre looking for a thrift store.

Price very reasonable..... great if youre on a tight budget

I really dont understand how they get away with selling stuff at such a high price. I go to ross, and marshalls and find all new shirts stuff for under $8. The kids clothes at those retail locations are $3-$12 and I dont really understand how they can mark used, and dingy stuff so high. Even at the retail stores in the mall I find new stuff wayyy cheaper. Not to mention the home goods at this location vs walmart and other retail chains like hobby lobby. Why wouldnt they mark their prices lower to move product and inventory? All of the stuff is donated so they have no cost in regards to inventory. It would make soooo much more sense to mark all the prices low and just move product. This store will be out of business if they dont figure out how to price things correctly. I wont even go back to this place, as opposed to, going back once or twice a week spending $40-$50 per week. I would be almost $2600/yr customer if they priced their products correctly.

This is a good store but sometimes they can be expensive. But the employees are good there and helpful.

The buyer who comes constantly and buys for 100-200$ got a bad service and the main problem the employee literally went and changed the tag. Second, they just doubled price. At the end employee started taking photo of me and showing that I have changed them. Awful experience, awful.

Great sales every day and good finds

Large thrift store with lots of selections for clothing. Took me a bit to figure out the sizing; however, once I did I was on a roll. Bought 4 pairs of pants for under $20. Heads-up...the jeans (not plus size) are on a different row from the other womens slacks.

Great place to get used items. When dropping off donations they dont always have someone there, and have to just leave items sitting outside.

Sometimes I go there and find an item I was looking for elsewhere. Today was that day. Not only marked down, but on Sundays it is 20% off.
