Rude as all get out. Minimal selection. Better off going to the one at the mall. Stopped in with my son, got pushed out the door, told they were at capacity. Door said 18 people- they had 3 customers. I was told that employees counted as customers, and that the sign didnt matter. Like I said, go to the mall. Better selection, and friendlier staff

No longer keep the games they have on the shelf in stock. When I told them I would have to take my business elsewhere I was told thats fine we dont need your business. I then said and leave you a bad review on Google to which they responded go ahead I dont care. So here is is.

Do NOT go here I will never go to this location again. My husband and I went looking for a Nintendo switch and he coughed and the manager Daniel freaked out cussing at us and telling us to the the F out of his store. The rudest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. I don’t know how he has a job there. Then he threatened to fight my husband. Tried to call the cops on me saying I left my kids in the car by themselves but my mother n law was there with them. He is a psycho!

Purchased a pop about a week ago and was never told at the time of purchase that I was unable to return if it was the wrong item, even if un open and within the return policy, with the receipt. Went in and was told I could not return at this store. The manager was quite rude & a poor example of customer service. There is a way to say things to a customer and he definitely did not act like a manager at all. I then called another game stop and told me there would be no problem in returning the item, they were FRIENDLY and helpful. Even if they had told me I couldn’t return it in a nicer manner I would have understood.

Fairly confident the female working behind the counter took a picture of me when I traded in games. She tried making it all sly but it was hard not to notice a giant glowing webcam.

Friendly staff. I do not know how they do it but this store has friendly and helpful staff on a regular basis. I’m not a gamer but when I take my son or daughter shopping there staff is always giving us good service and here in Odessa that’s no easy feat.

I hope GameStop goes out of business. An employee at this store tried to steal from me on 2-19-2020. The employees name is Edgar. The regional manager contacted me a couple days later and said he would look in to it and never heard back after a month. I will never shop here or ever at GameStop again I hope your business fails.

Employees are not as helpful as the one in the mall. The mall located they are willing to scan clarence items to tell you how much it is. But here they give you an attitude tell you its as marked which dosent tell you how much percentage off it is. This location has a very long wait time for everything and you have to stand in a long line to check out. They dont stock up on as much new stuff as they do in the mall. Its just very busy in this location. I dont advise going if your in a hurry

Every time Ive gone into this store, the staff is super awesome. Yesterday, they went above and beyond for me. I purchased the newest Dragon ball game at a Midland location. The gentleman that sold me the game told me it was the FighterZ edition with the codes for the SSGSS code and season pass code. Also said it was the last copy they had. So I purchased it. I get it loaded up and tried to use the codes. The codes had already been used. So I called the store and explained the situation. I was told it was an unfortunate mistake but nothing could be done. My girlfriend called this location and explained the same situation to Sam. He told her I can bring in the copy and exchange it with them. I was impressed with Sam being able to do that for me and also for the gentleman that recognized who I was (Sam was a bit busy when I came in), I decided to not only put down money on a preorder but also renew my membership there! Now this store is my official store.

Game stop is kinda good but its really cool from selling

I used to work at this gamestop a couple years ago. Idk what happen everyone i worked with is gone now. Its under mew management and he is the absolute worst. He leaves the G.As by them selves to do all the work. There was 2 long lines amd he came out of the back and i asked him a question he ignored me then i followed him amd he tried to hurry to the back again so he didnt have to help me. He turned around and said WHAT very rude. He if its not on the sheld they dont have it. But i had called before going and a G.A told me they did have 4. In stock. Ill never go back to that store again. Ill stick to amazon from now onI dont like being shouted at by big hairy guys with long ponytails.

I went inside to buy a Mic-headset. And like always i figured it will be a quick in and out purchase. But the person working the counter started talking to these girls for a while. I was patient enough and waited till he finished with them but the whole time i was listening to their conversation, he was just talking to them about his life and all sort of other stuff that had nothing to do about a video game or anything that was inside Game stop. I did see his name tag and it says Sebastian. his conversation was literally from 30-40 minutes long. So i got upset and put the mic-headset back and left. Please teach your staff to be more professional and treat all the paying customers the same. If i would of known that girls get more of the attention then i would of sent my Girlfriend to get the headset for me.
