I went to this auto shop because of all the good reviews I read online, and I am so happy I did. These guys are the nicest, I called to tell them I was going to drop off my car after hours (by 10 minutes), they told me about their key drop off box but then they waited for me.They are honest mechanics, who didnt try to up sale me. I will definitely go back to them for all my other issues.

This is the best auto shop I’ve ever been to and it will be the only auto shop that I trust from now on. I am a 20 year old girl who doesn’t know anything about cars and George has taught me more about cars in the past few days than I have in 4 years is driving. He’s professional, straightforward and 110% honest about your vehicle. He doesn’t try to scam you and drain you of money like other big name locations, and is a great human being overall. I highly recommend them for any type of service or just general questions.

I gave these guys short notice that I needed my brakes serviced and they took care of me on the same day despite being very clearly busy. Pricing was extremely fair. Hi,Their customer service is impeccable I came in with a check engine light issue and previous work that needed to be fixed from another auto shop. The customer service representative explained every issue at hand that needed to be fixed. Plus, I even qualified to finance to get my car fix with their lender! That’s right! No upfront costs however they repair your car and you make payments toward your repairs biweekly. I just made my last payment today my car is in great shape and runs like new! I can’t thank you all enough and if I have any major issues going forward this is my new go to auto shop. Thanks guys!

I have an Inifiniti M37 and I needed ball joints and a control arm. Car was making to much noise and felt like them wheels were gona pop if I hit a big pot hole. Spoke to Gorge(Rep) and John(mechanic) at that shop and they definitely made me feel like my car was good hands unlike other mechanics who are so dry and ehhhh. My car now rides smooth and i definitely would be back if I have other issues.

They got me in literally last minute when I had a flat tire and had to drive 40 miles home. I had no spare, they filled it at no charge and I got home safely. I dont know what I would have done without them. They are also super kind. I highly recommend! Would definitely go to them again with any car trouble.

I call Saturday around 8:30 am to check if they were available to change my rotors and pads, same day. Told they had time it should be done before 1pm. Took my car around 9 am and was done by 12pm. They took care of that really fast and efficient. Good prices, quality work, friendly, and professional. highly recommend this shop if your looking to get any work done on your foreign vehicle or domestic.

We came here after hearing a nail in our tire. We asked if they could patch it and the gentleman said he’d take a look. He comes back and said we looked at it, took the screw out and it wasn’t even in the tread of the tired. He sprayed down the tire and said no work needed to be done and even if it needed to be patched he would’ve done it for free. Such awesome people!!!

Update: 09.17.21. OAK LAWN AUTO has proven to be Honest, Reliable and customer orientated. In an age where auto shops are all about money(monetary gains) Oak lawn auto is about integrity and actually fixing the problem with your vehicle. They did my brakes for me(thank god I found oak lawn auto), which another so called mechanic (in name only) told me something different about the brakes. These Class A mechanics at oak lawn auto have proven to be Honest and trustworthy. I will only take my vehicles to Oak Lawn Auto!!!.

My check engine light came on while driving home on the expressway. I took it to Advance Auto for a diagnostic. I was getting a misfire on Cylinder 2. The employee who performed the diagnostic recommended Oak Lawn Auto. I Googled and Yelped the company. I saw nothing but 4-star and 5-star reviews. With all that being said, I took my mint condition 2004 Lexus there for service. I was greeted by George who gave me 5-star customer service. I also met the service techicians who related that I had a bad ignition coil and spark plug. George stated they could replace just the faulty components, but I risked returning soon because of the mileage on the remaining ignition coils and spark plugs. George recommended a full tune-up by replacing all 6 ignition coils and spark plugs since my car was 15 years old, 146,000 miles, and never had a tune-up since I purchased it. George stated the parts would be the same parts used by Lexus. No aftermarket parts. The price to repair my car with parts and labor was a little more than I anticipated, but it was fair and reasonable. I was very happy with the customer service, and work performed on my car. My car is running like new, and I passed my vehicle emissions test with no problem. I will definitely be back to see George and Crew for any future car service.

Had a big screw in my tire, called about their hours and was able to come in right away. Although it wasn’t a big service I needed to be done, I was asked how much time I had and they were very accommodating as they had other cars in there already. I brought my 2015 Grand Cherokee here after getting absolutely raked by my dealer for a transfer case replacement. The dealer wanted an obscene amount money to replace it, so I called around. One of my colleagues recommend OLA, so I gave them call. I got a super reasonable quote for the job along with a bundled tune-up, and I ended up having them do the work. They did a fantastic job (I inspected it afterwards) so I will calling them up in the future if I need them.

I discovered this shop through a coupon in valpak and they have quickly become my favorite mechanics. The staff is friendly, the work is professional, and they have consistently saved me money. They found me factory grade parts for hundreds of dollars less than I was quoted at from another mechanic. They were very transparent with how much the part cost and how much the labor would be. They really took care of my car, giving it an inspection and fixing a pesky check engine light and rotating the tires for free. I highly recommend coming to them for things big and small .

Oak Lawn Auto (OLA) is a superior and reputable repair facility. I depended on OLA to assist with repairing my BMW at the most reasonable and fair rate, nearly 60% lower than the cost quoted to me by the dealership. Not only were they fair and reasonable, they are highly knowledgeable about foreign cars and even offered to thoroughly inspect my vehicle at no additional cost. It is often youll find a service provider who tacks on the fees without providing any service. Thankfully this is not the case with OLA. Kudos to the owner, John, who even offered to come in and assist me before his very own wedding day. Also, George is amazing, helpful, and incredibly patient! I completely support and stand behind their business! Thank you OLA!

Extremely reliable and affordable service! I used to take my BMW to other auto services only to be ripped off time and time again. I brought my car here one day and after going to Oak Lawn Auto, I feel like Ive finally found my auto spot. George is always really helpful and professional when answering questions and following up. Brought in my BMW for an aftermarket downpipe install and the experience was top notch from the communication, scheduling, quality of work, and turn around time. George was my mechanic, and he was nothing but amazing! I called in days before requesting a quote of a coolant flush, and he gave me way better prices than the dealer costs. When I brought it in, it did not take them long at all to work on it and also replaced bolts for me free of charge. He let me know everything I needed done with my car, and gave some amazing recommendations for things to do in Toronto as we were traveling there the following weekend.

I really cant say enough good things about Oak Lawn Auto! I was honestly tired of paying an arm and a leg for car maintenance/repairs from the dealership and decided to give this place a try based on reviews. I walked in on a Friday afternoon, spoke with George (super nice guy!) and was told to bring my car in the following day. Came in Saturday morning for an oil change and an issue with my check engine light. The work that was needed to be done was thoroughly explained to me as well as the cost (very important) was also explained. I was reassured that there wouldnt be any surprise costs and was definitely put at ease knowing Id pay what I was quoted and nothing more. An additional bonus: the work on the car was a expected to take about an hour and a half but was finished in about 45 minutes!!! Theyve got a happy, lifetime customer!!

Professional, fair, and honest.I thought I had to replace the lamp for my headlight. Instead, turns out a bad bulb, some bad wiring and poor work done by a previous mechanic led to the issue.I was given a quote for my repair before inspection and time estimate of 30 minutes for repair. After learning about the new issues/new parts needed, Oak Lawn Auto stuck by their prices and still was able to make the necessary repairs in a timely fashion at an affordable price.Definitely will be back!

I took my 2004 van in for A/C service. After looking into it they determined the condenser needed to be replaced. They also noticed my radiator was leaking. They recommended doing both at the same time since I could save on labor that way. Once the work was complete they showed me the old radiator and condenser that were replaced. The radiator was in really bad shape with multiple leak spots. I really appreciate how upfront they were. Their honesty helped me avoid a possible bad situation with the radiator and helped me save money. Well definitely be going back for future repairs.

The BEST Foreign Car Auto Repair... when I cant make it to the Benz Dealer, they get me right together, with authentic Benz parts... Headlight replaced in less than 10min... and it didnt cost the $180 Benz was charging. Ive used them for other services as well; they are the only auto repair I trust with my baby

Amazing! So i called here on a whim bc i was getting the run around with a dealership regarding my trans. I was super frustrated and George was able to calm me down within like a 30 second call. He was friendly and reassuring that they would be able to help. They took the time to research my warrenty and even call to confirm coverage.
