BEWARE!!! Storage units infested with RATS!!! I had multiple storage units from this location and I found an actual rat inside one upon move out and the other units were full of rat droppings!!! I had to throw out almost all of my stuff that I stored there. So gross!!! Will never use this location again. Warn everyone you know so they can avoid the same fate!!!

I had an accident with their U-Haul. In good faith I came to park it here 9n that day when I got out of the hospital. A NRH POLICE officer told me not to trust S2 8500 Apartments because they had already tried to tow it from there after the Manager Kathleen told me she would take care of everything and not to worry. Anyhow, so I left it herethat night for safety reason. In the morning when I call up here no one answered and the call went to an answering. Call center.

I made a purchase of a reusable item at this place of business. The cashier was efficient and cordial during my recent visit. The storefront was seemingly clean and spacious. I would return to this location if I needed the specific types of goods and services that they offer.

Stopped by at 4:45 on 4/1 to inquire about getting a trailer hitch installed on my truck. No one in the office/retail store. Stepped outside and waiting on a young lady to finish with a customer renting an open trailer. When she finished, she looked at me and immediately proceeded to check her smart phone and then start answering her texts. I waited a few more minutes while a guy in a U Hall jump suit walked past without acknowledgement of the customer. After he left, I interrupted the young lady in the UHaul t shirt to ask if she worked here? She said yes. I asked if she was on the job. She said yes.Had I not interrupted her social media session, I suspect I would have waited for several minutes longer.Bottom line is that this location appeared to have no management on the premises, and if it did, that particular manager wasnt watching the store and had apparently not spoken with his/her staff about the importance of greeting customers and acknowledging their presence. The young lady had more important things to do than service customers. Same for the young man that walked by. Ill find another place to install my trailer hitch.

Everyone is so nice and friendly. Extremely helpful. I was in and out with boxes and great service within 30 minutes. I highly recommend this place.

Horrible experience calling in trying to just determine if they have a trailer in stock to rent. They would not answer the question unless I answered dozens of irrelevant questions. Waste of time. On hold for 15 minutes just to talk to someone and then no answer.

Terrible customer service. Waited in lobby 25 minutes no one around at the North Richland Hills, Texas facility off Harwood. Finally a female employee, maybe the manager walked in and asked if I had a mask (she was not wearing one) I said I did not and she told me to leave. I attempted to explained that I had 10 plumbing vans that I needed hitches installed she said couldnt help me and walk away. Nice business model folks!!

Terrible customer service. Especially Diana. I had a reservation which I booked and paid for 2 weeks in advance to have a hitch installed on 12/3 at noon. I receive a call 1 hour before install that the hitch is not in stock. They dont know when it will arrive and that it could arrive in 30 minutes or another week, and that they best they could do would be to call me when it arrives. I wait 4 days, still no call. I call up to the store roughly 10 different times, no one picks up the phone. I am especially frustrated because I took a day off of work on 12/3 to have this hitch installed and burned a vacation day because of their lack of organization and communication. I would not recommend this particular store to any single person.

Good customer service. I appreciated Andrews help with towing questions and recommendations. I would have given 5 stars but noticed some staff members not wearing masks.

Helpful and friendly from most of the staff!

Great place to rent a truck from. Good in town rates and more importantly staff that cares. My keychain broke in the truck and got stuck between the seats. The staff here including the General Manager David, went above and beyond to get my belongings back and really helped save the day. Thank you!

Mr. Andrew Ross is the man to see. He has great service and the staff here work hard to get customers taken care of.

I chose to use the online portal to pick up a truck. First the truck was hard to find. Then once I found a truck and started the process this woman came out and got an attitude with me. She sternly said WHAT ARE YOU DOING? THIS TRUCK HAS ALREADY BEEN RENTED! I said Im checking it out on the app right now. She replied OH NO YOURE NOT. THIS TRUCK IS ALREADY RENTED. These trucks dont do 24-hour rentals any way I said its right here on the app. She replied, I dont know anything about the app. You can come inside, and we can help you in there. Most people have to come inside anyway. These trucks arent set up for 24-hour rentals. So, she did know about the app, she was just being a jerk. I decided to continue with the online service and pick a different truck. I made a 24-hour reservation for a 20 truck, I was going to get it, and she wasnt going to stop me. This time I went faster taking pictures and paying for it through the online portal. When I went inside they were trying to rent out the truck to someone else! The online pick up does not talk to the people inside. Its terrible! But the people inside are worse. I showed a guy the online portal and asked for my key. The lady then again yelled THOSE TRUCKS ARE SET UP FOR 24 HOUR RENTAL. I got my key and left. Thank GOD I was dropping it off somewhere else. I will never go back to this place. Im not sure I will even use U-Haul again if the online service won’t talk to the people inside. Get your stuff together U-Haul. Im sure that lady was the owner, her picture was on the inside of the truck and she was wearing the same green shirt in the picture. If the owner is that rude, and I cant imagine the staff being any better. Or maybe she is just a tyrant and needs a big slice of humble pie.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The worst customer service ever. The people are very rude and make you feel like your an inconvenience to them. Come to find out the rude person helping us was the manager.Also if the customer service isnt bad enough they will also mess up your rental reservation. I rented a small u-haul for the weekend and they put me down for 4 hours. I was only able to rent the truck for 24 hours. In closing, if you can go anywhere else I highly recommend you do.

All the things you need to move at the prices I could find

The staff at this location is always friendly and helpful. They always assist me carrying out my purchases of boxes, etc., without being asked. Much better customer assistance than other locations. I have also had several hitches installed here and it is always done timely and they make sure theres no mess on the floor of your vehicle.

Charged my card twice then acting like absolutely nothing happened and was no help getting my money back. Brought the car transport back MANY hours early and they still “extended” my purchase for no reason and recharged my card.

Rent is a bit pricey but it is indoors, secured, and kept air conditioned even if it sometimes doesnt feel like it. Staff is courteous and knowledgeable. The reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because, there were ants in and on my things when I went to retrieve everything from my unit. Other than that, Id say top notch. You can rent any size vehicle for moving online and pick it up at the location and pricing on the rentals is pretty fair from my experience. Good job U-Haul people, U can bet I will Haul my ass back next time Im in need of your services

Staff not friendly at all, seemed disorganized, the vehicle I was given on the contact said 7/8 full, but when I got to the truck it was less than 1/4 empty. If i missed that during my inspection I would have to pay for all that fuel.. my question is why didn’t they know or even check before having a customer sign the contract?

We had absolutely no issues with our truck rental, and the storage units here are nice. It is inside, and they have amazing dollies to help you move everything in and out. You do have to pay extra for 24 hour access, but for us personally that isnt necessary.

I reserved a truck for after hours pick up, along with a utility dolly. There was no dolly in the truck when I picked it up. I immediately reported the missing dolly to the after hours center, then called this U-Haul the next day to let them know. Yet I was charged for 2 days for the dolly. I have called multiple times to rectify the situation, A manager will call you back. and nobody calls. I went into the store 2 weeks later, the counter help was disinterested in helping me, so they pawned it off on somebody in the back, if there was anybody at all, this person never came out to talk to me. They said they would look into it and maybe mail me a check. Watch these people closely if you rent from them.

I had a great experience renting a truck for local round trip use this past weekend. Thanks to the staff for their quick service at check-in and drop off. And for letting me leave my car on their lot for 24 hours. Made everything so much simpler.

Clean with good access. Well stocked. One of the few places you can get your own propane tank filled. Nice people work here.

Had the North Richland Hills on hwy 26 location install a trailer ball and wiring for a trailer we rented to go to Houston for my daughters wedding. Got to out destination and discovered the ball had loosened allowing excessive travel of the hitch on the trailer damaging the bumper on my 2017 Nissan Titan that only had about 3,000 miles. Have contacted there insurance and they are contacting the corporate office. The guys at U Haul installed and hitched the trailer. Pretty clear this is their fault but its taken several weeks and still no resolution.

Rented a Trailer, asked where to put when brought back? All I had gathered was a yellow area? Confused... I had put back in the same spot the same day. Which they noted afternoon the next day? Late? Also purchased ratchet straps (without looking to close?) They had no hooks? Meaning they go back to there self for operating. Worthless. Charges shown up twice, 2 different calls and still not resolved for two more days!?

Great staff they always take care of me. I rent from here often. They get you in and out fast and have great prices. The staff is very friendly and professional.

If I could leave negative stars I would...i ordered a 6x12 trailed, reserved of a week in advance, Did the express check in, paid in advance, called two hours before we went to pick up to confirm and see if we could come earlier. No problem the employee said, our trailer was ready. We show up and the employee working was extremely rude are we were told they don’t have what we ordered and needed to go across town. I called the location and the customer service representative kept calling me “ma” and “mommy” before transferring me to the manager on duty. The only explaination he could provide was that someone picked up a trailer right before us and the other one was reported stolen. I asked him what the point of a reservation is if they don’t have what I reserve, at the very least we should have been notified. He put me on hold, comes back and says he’ll “note my order” then hung up. I filed a complaint with their corporate.

Just had a hitch put on. Very friendly group of folks working there and they were eager to help.Got me taken care of. I appreciate their professionalism and follow ups during the booking/installation process. No problems at all.

Quick and easy. BEWARE they will over charge you! U-HAUL hual has charged my account 3 times. 180 to go less 20 miles and I had the truck less then 24 hours, left it clean, and gas tank half full.

I was over charged, just like everyone else who left a bad review, but they actually made it right and refunded me the remainder. Still waiting on a call back from the manager though,...... its been 2 days, There must be a long list of people to call judging from the reviews so I can understand that.

I reserved a truck online. I went to pick it up and could not find it outside. Walked inside to get assistance and no one was inside to assist for about 10 minutes. Finally someone came in assisted the first customer and walked out with that customer. Another person came in, a woman, spoke and asked if i had been assisted. I told her not yet. I informed her that i reserved a truck online but could not find it. She looked at her keys and said the truck was a one way truck and said she dont know when i reserved the truck but it her one way. So basically she disnt want to give the truck to me. I walked out to let my husband know. I walked back in and asked the same woman if they had any vans available but before she told me if they had any vans she asked if i had a major card. When i said yes that is when she decides to tell yes they have vans available. This place is not geared through customer satisfaction at all. I left and took my busy somewhere else.

Alex is 10/10. Fixed my trucks wiring on the fly for our trailer rental. Give this man a raise.

This place is a joke. Loads of millennials trying to run this place. They have no communication and no clue. Stay away .If this has to be the place you better get it in writing. Stay away .

DO NOT GO HERE the service was horrible and they will screw you over as much as they possibly can. Oh we over charged you? Sorry there is nothing I can do about it. I will be making sure no one I know ever goes to this location ever again. Looks like my next moved will be with another company because this is ridiculous.

4/2/2016 An ounce of precaution is worth a pound of measure. Had lights installed on my Mazda Tribute SUV and they did and outstanding job as I also pull watercraft so they suggested strategically installing it in the tail light Went on a Saturday not to busy got right in and out. Friendly efficiently knowledgable staff. I will make this my home location. And by the way they also do excellent work on hitches. Had a hitch installed Dallas Hitch and trailer and uhaul does a far better job. Totally happy with uhaul period.

The staff is friendly. The store and truck clean and the price was decent. Will use them again.

Understaffed!! They have 4 registers and only 1 person working! The line was nearly out of the door

They messed up the time of my original appointment to get a hitch installed. Rescheduled but they still didnt start on my car until an hour and ten minutes after the appointment (others in line ahead of me experiencing problems with bad instals etc.). Management was terrible and very passive in handling situation. Wont be going back here again.
