I used to work there when i was younger for years, under different owners. Actually at 3 different locations. Although, i was the best, cough, cough, they do a really good job with your cars oil change and are very professional and nice people. I was surprised at how good they actually were. With my own oil it only cost my like 30 bucks, maybe less. So, i like going there.

When Grease Monkey could not acquire a certain replacement part within the time frame necessary for us, they did the next best thing- they managed to repair the broken part instead, doing such a solid and professional job that we dont ever anticipate having to get it replaced again. Also saving us around $900! Great guys at Grease Monkey in Elko, Nevada!

Oil change only took 3 to 5 minutes I question whether or not all the point checks were observed and completed and they didnt vacuum or wipe the windows it was actually a bit too fast to be true

This used to be my go to place for oil changes. I dont know what happened but lately the service is not there. Today I checked the website for hours. The website said open 9-4. I gor there at 9:15 and the place is closed with no one in site. No sign stating different hours. No answer when I tried calling. This is the secind time this has happened.

Went in for my cars first oil change. At a glance they knew exactly what I needed based on my cars make and model. I was in and out in 15 minutes, maybe 20 minutes tops. Courteous, professional, and quick with zero sacrifice in quality of service. I will be back in the foreseeable future without question.

Great service!!! These guys got me out of a jam one day. My daughters car was broken into in Philly and car got towed to the police station while it was parked in the street. In order to get the car out she needed her license plate number which she did not know because her registration was in the glove compartment. It was not on the insurance card only way to get car was to know the plate. I called these guys on a Saturday guy took his time to retrieve the plate number from the computer. My daughter was able to retrieve car . Thanks so much!!

FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.In the past this location was great - some recent visits less so. My latest visit, a mess. I stopped in Sunday, and even though the doors were open and someone was in working on a vehicle, they told me there were no techs in and they could not change my oil. I went back Tuesday and was taken fast, but yet on way home I noticed my washer fluid light come on. I returned to place, and was told we are out of fluid. They then proceeded to put a couple ounces of fluid in my reservoir - far from full but a little. He offered no real apology or solution. I wonder what other luid or air level they did not check. I will be going elsewhere in future,

Took my brand new car in for oil change, mechanics stripped the oil screw and claimed the dealership stripped it. piss poor service and mechanics have absolutely no idea what theyre doing. do not bring your vehicle here.

In the past 3 years since the corporation resumed control over the location (which was initially prive) I have had 2 incidents that have completely changed my mind on the quality and trustworthiness the company deserves. In one instance a check on my air filters resulted in someone not replacing it. I didnt learn this until my next visit when I came in for an oil change and an engine light was on. A representitive came out and explained I had no air filter?!? for the engine and it was very likely that the engine light was coming from clogged fuel injectors. When I explained nobody had touched the car since the last change and at that time a guy told me it the air filter was needed (and showed me the filter in his hand) he spoke to his manager, checked the computer and replaced the filter at no cost and said it should correct itself (light go off) within a few hundred miles.The cost to fix this issue (complete cleaning of the injectors is over $100!!). Today my wife went for a routine oil change on the same car which has had all its service except 3 (which all occurred over 70k miles prior) by Grease Monkey. The place was fortunately closed so she went to another service station which was still open. To her surprise she was shown that the oil was empty and whoever changed the oil the last time was using silicone to keep oil from dripping out of the stripped oil plug. Well, since Grease Monkey was the only company that has touched this car for the last few years it doesnt take a detective to figure out this is where it happened.So it seems my trustworthy Grease Monkey has been performing some horrible work and not only that - in the first instance they didnt even deny it. this second issue was never even reported to me by the people doing the work at Grease Monkey. This oil plug issue which is visibly causing oil to slowly leak out could have only occurred by someone cross threading the plug. And worse, they knew it happened and used silicone to try and cover up the mistake rather than admit an error, replace the oil pan or plug and ensure my engine would be ok. Now I have to have a mechanic drop my oil pan, determine if there is any damange, repair if necessary and still replace the oil pan and plug!Dont trust this location folks, their new management and workers are not even close to the qualiy of the previous owners. That is not to say that all locations are like this but this one certainly is.
