Went to fix chip on windshield and this is how they “fixed” the chip. I called to complain the same day about how it came out and they said they could offer store credit. I would not recommend.

Highly Highly recommend this auto glass shop! Ive taken many of my vehicles here and as a fellow car enthusiast I am very picky with who I let work on my vehicles. This shop never disappoints and they always do quality work! In the past ive had other shops do my windshields and they rush their work and leave my car a mess. These guys care for your car as if its their own and take pride in there work. Dylan is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable.

My son’s car was leaking water in the interior every time it rained. Made an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. Dropped it off 8:00 AM Wednesday morning at the North Plainfield shop. By 10:00 Steve called me with a diagnosis and a very reasonable estimate. Car was done by 2:00. Steve even had pictures of the cracked seams over the hatch that he patched. It’s been a month of cold and rainy weather, and the car is completely dry inside. Great job and great price. Highly recommend.

I went to get new sunroof so happy with the price and the service! Went in at 9am had my car back by 11:30am and they were courteous and professional I cant say enough! I was kept in the loop about what was going on and will definitely be recommending your business.

Well, first off, I know little to nothing about cars. All I knew for sure is my car has been developing insurmountable amounts of water on the floor of both my seat, and the passenger seat. I brought it to a trusted local mechanic who unfortunately failed to find the cause. He pointed me to Quality Glass..stating, as many reviews below have, the mechanic there isnt necessarily a people person, but the most talented around. He was right, Chris (i think that was his name) seemed far too busy to entertain my nerves/desire to point out every drop of water/my thoughts on the issue/etc...I left feeling a bit blown off (not rude, just busy). To my surprise, I got a call back 7 hours later - complete! Not only did he find rust under my windshield - he managed to remove the windshield and re install it without breaking any glass! I didnt even know that was a thing people do! Not only was I happy to pay a reasonable price, but he also had all the carpets and floors dried out for me, and fixed the rust. Cant believe how long Ive been dealing with this issue, wish I knew itd be this easy!! Recommend to anyone.

Chris P. is really sweet and will take the time to show you where exactly he’ll be doing work and what exactly is going on with your vehicle. He’s very honest and understanding! The owners (father and son) are apparently nicer than they seem too

Took the time out to explain and suggest options for me and showed he genuinely cared about giving the best service. The guy really knows his stuff and is really nice. Someone that goes the extra mile to make sure you get the best service, not many ppl like that around. Very pleased with the quality of work done.

Work done good. Customer service...I would bring them straw because they suck. Whoever work on my car stated he “try to called me a few times”, dirty lie. O was with my phone even in bathroom.When I went there to see how things going after six hours (around 3.45pm) I found “open” turned on with lights shut off and no one inside.Luckily after phone call and short conversation someone showed up to get money and give me back car.It is easy to judge and hard to understand. Unfortunately I don’t get it, says open till 5pm, I can understand emergency situation but at least don’t lie. I’m not the first one who had hard time to communicate with crew member.Job done goodCustomer service unacceptable.

Quality glass is by far the best place to get my car repaired! From the very beginning Chris was always honest and kept me updated every step of the way. I had an unfortunate event happen to my car that left me with a broken back window. My insurance had me go through other shops however I was not comfortable with the service nor did they have good reviews. As I was driving on 22 one day I passed Quality Glass and figured it was a worth of try. When I went in it was noticeable that the place was super busy. Even with all the commotion, chris approached and asked what I needed. After a few minutes of him explaining to me what needed to be done as well as how much it would cost, we reached an agreement. I dropped off the car the next day and by 3 the car was done! Chris was a great person and extremely helpful. I have gone back to have minor things done to my car and chris has always been able to fix the issue in no time. I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else, whenever a problem shows up, I can trust Chris will take care of it.

I wouldnt recommend this particular location to anyone. The male receptionist lied and said he could fix my glass the same day but he didnt. Then he said he could put my 200.00 parking permit back on my window but he didnt. Then he got mad because I told him I need my permit for work and didnt want to get a ticket and he called the police because I raised my voice, really!!!! I offered solutions for the problem and you still refused stating you couldnt give me MY permit because it had glass on it. You are suppose to try to work with the customer but you didnt. Never again!!

Had 2 windshields replaced here without any problems. Wiper developed a problem 2 years later & asked him to look at it for me; repaired it free of charge. Definitely great customer service & will return again because of it.

You work hard, buy a nice car, and some unfortunate accident happens and your windshield is broken. Then, your insurance preferred vendor fixes your windshield. Then you discover they glued your fabric pillar on the interior of your car to the windshield, the basically poured tar glue into your Bose sound system, they completely F*** your rain sensors, dent your hood, and gave you some cheap glass - and didnt install it correctly - now youre getting wind and noise in your car!!! All of this happened to me... THEN - I got in touch with Quality Auto Glass. They are Ray Catenas choice for glass. If you know Ray Catena, you know they only sell luxury cars. I drive an Infiniti Q50 S. Im very anal about what work is performed on it and how. If you go to Quality Auto Glass, thats what youre getting - QUALITY. Their technician, Jonathan, performed the work with master craftsmanship, extremely well developed people skills and communication, and made me feel comfortable the entire process. I wish I found them 1st. If you drive ANY car with lane departure, front camera, rain sensors, etc. Make the right choice, and go with the pros - Quality Auto Glass.(My CORRECT installation performed by Quality Auto Glass was on 11/21/2017)

The guy that answers the phone is ridiculously rude and unintelligent. He has no clue how to speak to customers and really needs a lesson on good communication skills and customer service. If you call here, ask for Melissa because the male receptionist is completely impolite, unmannerly, and his way of handling phone calls is tasteless at best.

Great price. Poor workmanship. Crappy customer service. Left me no access to my car over the weekend. Do yourself a favor look elsewhere.

I do not recommend this business. Recommended repairs for a leak that were not needed and would not have fixed the problem. Went to another place that found the problem and fixed it.

Today 5/3/2017. Plainfield NJWorst experience Ever. Nobody should go there for business. I took my car in for a broken windshield at 11 am and the guy told me its going to be ready by 5pm because they have to order the windshield. At 3:50 pm I called to inquire how thing was going. The person on the phone told me that he just got the windshield and its going to be ready before 5pm. I left my house on west 8th street on Plainfield, NJ, walked to North Plainfield 650 US-22 (1hr walk) and got there at 5:02 pm to find the open sign blanking but all doors are locked with my car inside. Then I checked my phone to see if anyone called me to let me know that they are going to close before 5pm(by the way no visible sign telling their work hours and I got picture to prove it). I called customer service and talked to 6 different representative and all of them took my name and phone # telling me that they send out an emergency message for me, that someone will come to give me my car that I can go to work. Meanwhile I am waiting outside on route 22 in a chilly wind thinking how I am going to work. For 1hr I stood there and no one called me like. I left at 6:12pm no one called or showed up. I had to call my boss in the Hospital to tell him I will not be able to make it today. As a per diem technician I lost a pay day when I will have still to pay $315 for a Honda Pilot rear side window to Quality Auto Glass for their work. SHAME, SHAME, SHAME ON the technician and the company that hire such horrible person. I had to walked back for an another 1hr to my house. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM QUALITY AUTO GLASS ON 650-US-22

Im a defender of the North Plainfield Shop. In 2012, I had a windshield replaced on a 2011 Mustang. I was heartsick when the huge boulder from a dump truck on Rt 287 kicked up at my new car and new windshield. My Ford dealer privately shared this was the shop they often use for their Ford replacements so why not just go there directly? So I did. This shop calmed every fear. My appointment happened on time, within the time allotted and was well within my cost estimate for the replacement. Friendly, very careful with the new car and helpful. Chris offered some helpful advice for the long term care of my convertible top and for driving the rear wheel Stang in snow. Its 2014 and Im still happy with the windshield and all it took to replace it. Would happily return to them again. I trust their advice in North Plainfield.

Went twice to get sunroof fix because of leaking and it stiil leaks. A worker tells me Well when it rains hard its gonna happen Should have been told that before I spended $250.00.What a rip off never again.
