I had my oil changed here, but the mechanic failed to replace my oil cap. I lost all of my oil and had to got to 3 different auto shops before I could find a replacement cap. This all happened over labor day weekend, so no one was open. This was a very preventable and reflects lack of precision to detail. I will not be returning.

I used to take my Lancer here, and they always fixed her up!Well, I traded her in for a newer car, and I ended up with a flat. They were able to get me a new tire, the same day even when they were packed.Im always thankful for JT and his crew.

Up until recently I have had great experiences with the shop. That changed today. Back On May 20, 2020 they replaced my rear brake pads. I moved to Georgia about a week later. Today July 7, 2020 I took my car to a different shop to have a tire fixed. That shop discovered that my rotor was assembled incorrectly and the whole rear pad and rotor system needed to be replaced.They said “Top caliper bolt not inside of the slide. Causing the brake pad to not be able to press fully onto the rotor. Since the rotor wasn’t being slowly grinned down it became pitted.”I sent pictures of the issue to a mechanic friend who confirmed the diagnosis. I contacted JT at Accurate-Tune on the phone because I no longer live in the area and he completely refused to work with me whatsoever because he wasn’t able to evaluate my car himself. Even after I informed him I could send pictures of the pads. After how many times I used this mechanic is disappointing that they refused to accept they may have messed up.

These guys always take great care of me including replacing the engine in my Expedition when I decided to replace the engine instead of opting for a new car. They have bent over backwards to take care of me and the manager JT has always explained everything to me in detail so that I understood what was going on

I have been taking my vehicles to Accurate-Tune plus for over 8 years now. They have done all my repairs and inspections successfully, usually ahead of time estimated and always on point in cost estimate. This includes an engine replacement, and most recently pulled my entire dash to replace my heater core in record time! While this shop has all the attributes that have inclined me to send all my friends and family there for auto issues, the best overall characteristic of Accurate-Plus is their integrity. Recently had a radiator changed here. Reasonably priced and quickly repaired. mentioned the price one of their competitors had quoted me (which was almost 3times more!) and they were as shocked as I was but stayed professional. Will remain a loyal customer.

Went in to get a compressor put on (day 1) was told I had to pay cash upfront and leave my car overnight...explained I was unable to do so being this was my only vehicle. Was then told to come back when they opened the next day and service would take about 3 hours. Returned the following morning only to be asked for my money upfront and that it would take all day and I needed to drop my car off. Needless to say I already expressed my inability to do so. I took my business to somewhere else that did not require my money upfront and finished my car in 2 hours. Very unprofessional place at least the location on monticello.

They are awesome. Staff is friendly and efficient. I got my heat/temp module fixed a few weeks ago because it was blowing cold, and they fixed it within a couple hours, was working great. Then 2 nights ago as I was driving home it started to blow cold again, so I took it back there to see if they knew what was going on. It turned out it wasnt my temp module this time (meaning their first job was good work), it was something totally different, but they fixed it quickly for me and didnt charge me at all. I have never met an auto care place that treats their customers so well.

JT is honest and the most professional auto guy in Hampton Roads. We have been here numerous times for oil change and other repairs. Highly recommend he had even saved me money several times! We dont take our cars anywhere else.

He was trying make diagnostic by what he see he said, so after paying getting car done to cover major issue and first car problem wont start sometimes. Told needed airflow sensor . Still problem and engine light on still said needed oxygen sensor another two hundred said Refuse pay for that. Return again with car said, car not getting coolant need thermostat. Suppose I had payed again. Whats wrong with this picture?Did great job on wheel bearings and good tires that I did request not to get but let that issue go!Im just saying! If you cant fix something why didnt they recommend somewhere else or bad part. Justice!Information I am finding air flow sensor should have fixed issue.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. After paying $40 to have 2 tires fixed the tire light never came off, which was the reason I came in the first place. I had to come back twice (because the first time they wouldn’t check my car out) rushing after work before closing to get them to do what they were supposed to do in the first place, what I paid for them to do in the first place and what I left work early for for them to do in the first place. I received extreme attitude from the owner who acted like he was doing me a favor by them checking why the light was still on a week later after they “fixed” it and I was told it would be off after driving a few minutes. The guy who actually fixed my tires was great the owner though not so much. Have some pride and stand by your work and business. It took 5 minutes for the guy to see that the tires were actually fixed and it was a sensor issue, which is all I needed to know and could’ve been done the first time I came back. I’ll find a new place for that issue to get fixed with hopefully a lot less attitude.

This place is honestly a total rip off. They really deserve zero stars. I went to get my car serviced, because the check engine light was on and it was just sounding all around rough. Pretty much all they did was change my spark plugs and sent me on my way. I had to ask TJ about my check engine light and all he did was turn it off and send me on my way. It turned right back on within the hour. Then, later on that day I find my spark plugs by my windshield wipers and they are covered in oil. They mentioned absolutely nothing to me about this. We were there for hours and TJ was honestly pretty smug. $160 for the sloppiest, barely done job. I took my car to Precise Auto Care of Norfolk and they actually fixed my car and the owner was friendly and full of information. Save yourself and take your vehicle to Precise.

Rip off!This place said my water pump and timing belt was bad. I paid them $417 to fix it. 3 days later my car shut off and wouldnt start again! I had it towed back there. JT said it was a blown head gasket. My car has never run hot! I told him he knew it was that on Monday and he insisted he has no way of knowing, but hes supposed to be a mechanic! You cant just fix parts and hope you fix the problem! I was ripped off and now he expects me to pay him $1600 for a head gasket. Im calling the BBB. This is horrible business and he was rude on the phone. Mechanics always try to rip women off and its sad! Do not go here!

JT the manager of the location is the rudest man ive encountered in a while. Understood they couldnt service my car at the time. No problem. But the way he treated me and spoke to me was what made me decide to never come back again.

Dont waste your time or money. You will regret coming here. Spent over $300 just to have the same issue a week later. When I was there they were unprofessional and did things in an untimely manner. Waited 4 hours when they said it would be an hour. The guy at the front desk is rude. Learn from my mistakes, dont take your car anywhere near this place.

Brought my 1991 Ford truck in for a diagnostic of a bad knocking noise. While my truck was, sadly, not worth the repair costs, the mechanics at Accurate-Tune Plus were fair, honest, and listened to my questions. TJ, the owner/operator spelled out the courses of action and presented me options rather than dictate what i should/shouldnt do. And, at the end of the day when it was clear that the truck was a bust, he didnt even charge me for the diagnostic. While I hope I dont need a mechanic again, if I do Ill come back and see TJ.

Needed car repair done on our daughters vehicle, worked with JT and can say only positive things about the quality of the work done and the outstanding customer service.

Just found out they flipped my tires inside out. So it failed inspection because of it. Payed $40 for a tire shop to fix it, rather than go back here and have them possibly mess my car up more. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STORE THEY WILL MESS YOUR CAR UP.

JT was really nice and explained the logistics of the problem w my engine and the repair that he recommended ...he even drew me a diagram which helped me keep all the car parts straight during his explanation (Im completely ignorant when it comes to this stuff).The assessment and repairs were done on the same day that I called them. From what i could tell from the waiting room, seems that if you have a prob and needed something fixed sooner rather than later, theyll fit you in if they can help.

Manager is racist and very unprofessional. My niece went there and because one of the technicians broke a piece in her car she asked that they fix it and the manager resulted in name calling to a young lady after his technician admitted to breaking the part. The technician apologize for breaking the part in front of the manager which really infuriated him.

I spent the money to take my car to get it diagnosed by this group of guys. It just happens to be close to where I live and easily accessible from Monticello. I thoroughly explained symptoms of my car to the gentlemen, and they came back and said that my water pump must not be working and that they had 2 of their techs both arrive at the same idea. What kind of techs cant trace a coolant leak to a HOLE in a hose. They tried to quote me almost 700 dollars to fix the timing and water pump because it needed it. Had another company look at it..they immidiately told me I had a hose leak, and that my thermostat was stuck shut. Cost to fix around $85, and What do you know..it was fixed. I HATE scam artist, and I HATE mechanics shops that try to get over on PEOPLE. I will make sure my friends and the rest of NSU and ODU student know to NEVER trust this shop. I just hope I saved one person from spending WAY more then needed from a dishonest Mechanic. Im Beyond angry that they blatantly tried to scam me. Typical worthless, unreliable, dishonest Car Mechanics Shop. The PLUS is for plus well try to catch gullible people who believe us and take your whole paycheck

I went to Accurate Tune Plus based on the recommendation of a fried who was getting a full engine change done. JT was extremely knowledgable and helpful. We had an issue that a dealership was unable to diagnose even though we told them what the problem most likely was. JT tackled the task of confirming what it was and getting it fixed. I had him do three different large jobs and he did a great job at a lower price than anywhere else out it town. I highly recommend giving them a shot.

Took my car in to have a flat repaired. Took quite a while before I was even helped, then they fixed the wrong tire. After I told them the story twice about using Fix-A-Flat to get it up there, they didnt notice that Fix a Flat didnt come spewing out of the tire? Then,when I took it back up there to explain the mix up, they told me I told them the wrong tire AND called me a liar! I will never take any vehicle to them ever again and I would suggest no one else does either.

Got my axle replaced in half a day, price was fair for non-refurb part. JT easily could have replaced and charged me for both cv axles, but was honest and only made the repair that was necessary.

I went to this shop because my truck wad leaking gas. They didnt know how to set the truck up to be lifted. Then they caused more damage. Then the manager used the you people card degrading me because they couldnt do the work on my VW Toureg.

I thought they were dismissive of my questions and treated me as if I wouldn’t understand my own car because I am a woman but the same thing happened to a male friend here few weeks ago, so I guess they are dismissive and not very respectful independent of gender.

DO NOT GO HERE especially you have a foreign car they dont know how to troubleshoot foreign Cars i have a infinite and I took it there cause it was overheating and they told me I have a blown head gasket a bad water pump and I need a thermostat and tried to charge me 3500 i knew that was not right so I took a to the dealership and it was a cooling fan and they fixed it do not listen or trust JT
