The hobby lobby on Dempster and Harlem is a really awesome store. They have so many items to make a house a home. The staff here have always been nice, and theyre willing to help you find things that you need. The store is very clean and very organized, when I was there on a Saturday I saw the store manager himself working on organizing and sprucing up some of the items on display. The prices are excellent, and there is certainly something for everybody.

They have a great selection of water based paints for train sets. They also have anything you could possibly imagine in this location. Check out was pretty fast and the team that works here are very informative & helpful. Store was very organized and clean. All isles of merchandise were full no empty spaces from what I could see. I will definitely be back as it was a very pleasant experience here.

Its a very large store and you can get lost in all the products they offer. Employees are friendly and engaging, making the shopping experience enjoyable.

This store is clean and well-organized. There were plenty of staff members milling about, and when I asked where certain supplies would be located, I was told in a friendly and easy-to-understand manner. The other customers in the store that day were courteous, as everyone kept a distance the best they could and wore masks without fail. The prices are reasonable with lots of sales, and we left with everything we were looking for, plus a few discoveries we happily added.

They charge full prices for items on sale, they say everything spring shop and paper stuff is 50%off but at the registers they charge you the regular price, avoid this store, the exact same item i paid twice the price, i am never coming back to this scaming store again, cheaters

During my highly anticipated second visit ever to Hobby Lobby, I was disappointed with the cashier at the register. I did not realize it until till I left the store but the Sewology thread I brought was suppose to be 50% off however I was charged full price. This was my second visit ever to Hobby Lobby. And my first visit was so excellent, it made this visit pale in comparison. But I did find everything I was looking for in the store and the sales staff was excellent in guiding me to the area that I need it.

I havent been in a Hobby Lobby since the 80s. They seemed to have left the Chicagoland area. I was expecting a lamer version of Michaels.It had all the craft stuff and a beautiful artificial flower section. Lots of unusual home decor that you dont see in other stores. Really beautiful store, even though they are very heavy handed with the Christianity quotes on everything.I appreciate that they are closed on Sundays, but not a fan of them not paying for birth control for their employees or them not stocking any Jewish Hanukkah items, but the Supreme Court said its ok.I did not make a purchase.

I absolutely hate that the register doesn’t know what’s on sale I can’t tell you how many times I’ve bought some thing and then have to stand there have them return it so they can give me the sale price. I just went in today and I got a really bad attitude from the cashier and there’s quite a few of them that have bad attitudes. I can take my business to Michael’s and not get the attitude. And actually right now that’s what I feel like I’m doing

If you love home decor, this place is going to make you feel like a little kid on Christmas morning! Only thing I wish was better is there is ALWAYS a long line when I have gone and theres only 2 registers open. But nonetheless, its definitely a great store.

Great selection at this store. I came in with my mom because she needed painting supplies. They had a sale for 50 percent off all items that are a certain brand that I cant remember what its called. But the prices were so good!! Our cashier was really nice as well! They have sooo many different things there its impossible to not find what your looking for ! They also do a great job at keeping the merchandise nice and organized. Really easy to navigate through the store.

This store has every decoration you will ever need....ready made or make your own....super clean and organized.

It was my first visit to a Hobby Lobby, as they are new to the area, and boy was I impressed! It has a similar product offering to Michaels, with a much larger home decor section. Very reasonable prices as well. My wife and I were able to purchase 8 home decor items for about $250. All home decor was 50% off. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Only wished there was a sale so that I did not have to pay full price. Sometimes that is what I want the cashier to say. Oh honey there is a coupon for you and that would make my visit better. I was in my way to Michaels but saw hobby lobby across the street and headed there. Didnt make it to Michaels, but now wonder if I would have saved more because they always have coupons.

It really was true to its name which its a hobby store what ever your hobbies are they have a section for like if you love coin collecting or stamp collecting they have the tools youll need! Wanna fly rockets there your store, if you love makers tools this store is where you start!

The staff here are friendly and helpful. I love the wide variety of fabrics and sewing supplies they offer. I especially love their sales and the 40% off coupon!

I went to a hobby lobby shopping for some long stuff people are never going to believe this I found the most fabulous well so I can put in my front yard and have a wishing well in the front so Im probably bought it and another little one and a couple of other things thank you see you next time

This place has great selection and Im so happy to have a hobby lobby nearby now. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There were lots of corporate people there as it just opened up, they probably could have been friendly instead of just standing there watching the workers, not even greeting people.

Hobby lobby always has amazing finds at the best prices. Always clean and helpful staff. I was surprised to find a new location concerning the reason they closed all the other stores.

Brand new hobby lobby is great. You have Michaels across the street and now this place for all your home/craft needs. The cashier guy Hugo was great to talk to. He helped my wife and I wrap up 20+ Mason jars so they would be safe transporting them home. He was friendly and treated us well.

Had the best help from Jen at this Hobby Lobby location. She helped in choosing and fitting table clothes for my restaurant (Shawarma Stop). Honestly went above and beyond to help me out.The reason I give a 4 star review and not 5 stars is due to me hearing the manager tell Jen she shouldn’t have done as much as she did to help me in cutting my table clothes the specific size I wanted.As an owner of a business and one who has employees under me there is a time and place for everything. Coming and interrupting Jen in the middle of her amazing customer service is definitely not the time to tell her employee not to do something. Also the manager definitely shouldn’t have used a loud enough voice for me to hear I was an issue.Highly suggest Hobby Lobby to train their managers to not make them look controlling. Especially in front of a customer.Thanks for everything Jen!
