I was in a big bind today with my car after leaving work today.I was not sure what was wrong if it was a battery or something more serious that would cost me an arm and leg. When I went in to this Auto Zone to the counter and I need some help this young man named THRUMAN got his tester and came out to my car to see how he could help.He is only 20 yrs. old, but was so respectful and patient.He educated me on some things I didnt know,being a female and not knowing a lick about cars.He got to the root of the problem and kudos go out to this young man.He said he has only been working there for a few months.He went up and beyond to make sure I left with a running car and no issues. I felt his Supervisor should know how this young man helped me.It felt great to leave with the issue resolved.We need more people like this young man in this world. Great customer service! Im located out of state and needed to get a car battery for my dad in Newport News, VA. I called this location on July 27, 2021 and spoke with a rep named Kaitlyn. She was wonderful. She was attentive and took the time to meet all of my needs. She went above and beyond to help my elderly father with getting the right battery and ensure that he received it. We appreciate her and so should you! She is an asset to Autozone company and this location. Definitely a keeper! Thank you again Kaitlyn! All auto zone speaks for each other. Good customer services, help with check engine, battery, alternator diagnosis they are very helpful. Prices are reasonable.

Id give zero stars if I could. Online hours say open till 10. Hours on the door say the same. I went to the one in Yorktown and they closed and nine so I drove to the one on Warwick Blvd. It was 9:55 and as I was walking up to the door (employees looked right at me) they locked it and cut lights out. Horrible customer service. This is whats killing businesses. No one takes pride in what they are doing. Customer service is a thing of the past. Whoever this district manager is should take a look at his managment team and employees. They are a reflection of you.

Clean with good customer service. Not a lot of people inside . plastic up at the registers so that you divided between them . Employee asking customers if they need any help like most businesses stop doing, but they haven t and thats a good thing . Overall my experience was good

The Toyota Tundra takes 2 different wiper blades. I did not want most expensive, but they were out of stock on either one side or the other in all brands until we got to the most expensive. A little frustrating for my husband!

We to get a code read on my car and because of the current virus situation I was explained that they could not test my car but I could be given instructions how to do it myself. Needed key battery replaced and was told I needed to get inside the key to get part number. I know Advance will replace the key battery for you but cant expect to get good service at that particular Autozone. I always get bad service there and laziness.

Life-savers. After a long day of work and having to jump-start my car twice, I went to them within a few minutes of closing and they helped find AND install a new car battery. They were very approachable, extremely helpful, and I never felt like an inconvenience. Superior customer service. Would rate more stars if I could.

This store has the worst customer service skills I have ever seen. And for me to be an ex employee, my visit to this store was horrible. The grey shirts here need to go back to the basic training. Especially the male African American manager coming from another African American male u need to find another job your to scared. I worked at store 2024 Norfolk,VA send him there and see if he can handle it. Hes going to quit.

I needed a new battery. Went inside, purchased one then had to stand around waiting 25 minutes for assistance to put the new battery in my truck. Vincent told me he could not install it, (he said he was afraid of breaking a bracket) which HIGHLY irritated me! Thats part of his JOB.. After all, I was at a car part store! My truck would not start after waiting all that time. I asked Vincent if he could at least jump my truck. He said yes. He got in his own personal truck to jump mine, ( I had to wait AGAIN while he installed wipers on a car in the parking lot AND it was hot as HECK outside). I thought it was very odd he used his personal vehicle as I know they have jump boxes. Needless to say, after my truck started I left there, picked up my daughter then drove to the Auto Zone up past Oyster Point. My daughter went inside, while I stayed in my truck with it running. She explained what had just occurred at the Warwick /Denbigh Auto Zone. The young man at that store had absolutely NO problem coming right out and putting the new battery in my truck. He said there were no worries with the bracket, nothing was wrong with it, it was just fine. He said Vincent was just being Lazy! The young man told me I needed to call Corporate. I will NEVER go back to the Auto Zone in the Warwick /Denbigh Shopping Center again!

I went in for assistance with my car, I was unsure of the cable length I needed that goes to the O2 sensor. Don was excellent and extremely helpful. Since I didnt drive the car that needed the sensor, Don told me to bring the car in so he could help me figure out the correct length. When I come back 15 minutes later with the car Don is assisting another customer and Im lucky to be assisted by the store manager Jake. When I tell him my problem about not knowing the cable length, hes rude, curt and unhelpful. He tells me he wont know the cable length either. When I tell him another employee advised me to bring my vehicle in so we could figure out, he questioned why they said it. He reluctantly went to my car after I confirmed his name and told him he could learn from other store employees about customer service. Eventually his demeanor changed, however its unacceptable for someone who is managing a store to lack basic customer skills. Im sure store managers are rated on how well their store performs. If my first encounter had been Jake, I would never come back.

Been to this location twice in the past month or so and the same guy that helped me both times is incredibly bad with customers. Unfortunately I forgot to look at his nametag. The first time I came, I ended up not making a purchase because his attitude was so bad. I only came back a second time because they had the best price and its close to my house.

I want to share my experience at this store which was less than desirable. I was there to exchange a battery...which they did exchange, but the experience was unpleasant. Mr. Don is a very rude person that shouldnt be doing customer service. His voice and overall attitude is bitter like you are annoying him. Mr. Vicent helps us at the end but the overall atmosphere isnt the one I have experienced at other stores. I will not coming back to here for sure.

I happen to be shopping in that shopping center and just recently bought a new car...needed window visors (not sure of proper terminology) to keep rain out of the windows when driving, I walked in and there was a guy outside smoking..(not a problem Im a smoker), and 1 guy at the counter servicing a customer. took a few minutes so I waited patiently. the part that disturbed me was..the guy came in from smoking, went to a counter and immediately was on the phones...knowing I had been standing waiting patiently. The line I was in, the customer finally finished and that guy got a call..so I was waiting...then 2 Spanish guys came in behind me waiting and both counters both guys were on calls...then a third guy appears at another register and calls the 2 Spanish guys over to him and then I was pissed...I was stll in line and then said oh hell now, its obvious they dont need my business. rule of thumb is for customer service you take the person standing there and put the person on the phone on hold and explain you are helping a customer in line. I walked out. Anyone with common sense should have been aware of this. Never went into autozone before and hopefully this is not the norm..
