Went in to get radiator fixed and also needed 4 hoses including labor fee... 1200. Why order most expensive parts... antifreeze 75 dollars i can get it for 20.. called auto zone got 4 hoses and radiator for 268. Declined services paid 35 dollars. Aj is very professional but his mechanic handed me my keys without looking at me just like here you go.... then get in my car and it smelled like the dude straight smoked a blunt in my vehicle. Called back with complaint aj stated another vehicle the mechanic was working on had smelled like it...... well why not say anything or fix it beforehand? I was heated because they tried to hit me in the head with price though aj said he would fix smell.... no thank you sir. Much appreciated but i got the job done and saved a lot of money.... βπΏ and blessings
We were leaving town to head back to Idaho when our brakes went bad. They got us in, were able to get parts and sent us on our way shortly after 5pm with a bill slightly below the original estimate. Half an our later a stuck calliper was burning up our left back wheel. We called and they told us that they would wait for us. The owner and one of his mechanics worked 2hrs beyond closing time to fix our problem.We cant say enough about the customer service and the quality of this shop.

Would not recommend was over charged i paid 364.00 for a head light assembly for a 1999 Ford Taurus. When I was previously told 184.00 just took advantage of me. Never will trust them again. And definitely dont recommend.

Bought some wheels off of tire rack, had them sent there to get swapped. Resulted in a stick lug bolt on my Audi which was okay. I expected something to come up on a used vehicle that I just bought. The sale manager or worker (person didnβt specify on duty title) told me what was going on and I understood. I am a mechanic also but I just didnβt want to deal with swapping my tires and wheels on my day off. I told him I understood that it was stuck and he told me β you donβt understandβ. Very rude and also was the same way when I picked up my car. I was nice and over looked his previous comments. Not a great experience at all. The job got done; very rude and unprofessional personnel issues. I donβt recommend, take it to someone else

8500 worth of work as they said, the part was 1000, the labor is 4 hrs at 160 perhour.. so how?? So took my car to other plce 1500. They did the same to my daughter 4000 got the work done elsewhere 1800. Over pricing people robbing people.
Placed my synthetic oil change appointment a week in advance. I had to wait two hours for a correct filter to be delivered because they didnβt have any in stock. Also, they tried to tell me that my car needed brakes, but they took me to the incorrect car.On top of this, I bought a Groupon that included wiper blades, which they just tossed into my car and didnβt install. When I went to place them on my car, they did not have the correct attachment for my car.In short, itβs an absolutely horribly run business. Definitely will not go back.

I used a Groupon for a wheel alignment here.I expected to be given the hassle and run-around and to be told that I needed a bunch of other stuff that I already knew I didnt need because Id just had my vehicle inspected. Searching on Groupon for the best alignment price. I ran across Precision Tune Auto Care offering 4wheel alignment & wipes for $30 bucks. They ran a full diagnostic & addressed my concerns. The tire rods & 4 wheel alignment was taken care of in a timely manner. 5 stars to Krystal the manger for expectional customer service care!!! Will definitely take my car there for all needed repair....A auto care shop you can Trust!!!

I try to ask the workers that were there standing around the garage if they were supposed to be open they was ignoring me in strange way. This place definitely has no great customer service here. On June 26th, 2020 at approximately 8:00 AM my Black Honda Civic was dropped off at Precision Tune Auto Care (12477 Jefferson Ave Newport News) for a tire alignment.Later that day around 12:00, I was contacted and told that my car had been backed into something and there was $600.00 to $1,000.00 damage. I arrived at the shop around 12:30.I was not extended an apology at this point and unfortunately, a sincere apology was never extended.When I arrived at the center, the Manager AJ treated this as if it wasnβt a big deal. He instructed me to go get 3 estimates and bring them back before they closed at 4:00 PM. I did as instructed and received three estimates. When I arrived back at 3:40, AJ was not there.I asked Andrew, who was at the desk at the time was there a way that I could see video footage of what took place with my car and he told me no. I asked if I could have the drivers name of my car at the time of the incident and he stated no. Andrew appeared to be frustrated and dismissive to the issue at hand.Thus, I requested the corporate office and I gave corporate a call and received their voicemail, in which one was left.I have a problem with this service for a number of reasons:1. I like to say that I take pride in taking care of my things so when someone does something to damage it and show no remorse or provide me with poor customer service - theres a genuine problem.2. AJ, nor any of the staff members showed any remorse for the damage that was done to my car. In fact, AJ seemed to defend the drivers of my car; disregarding my feelings or the damage that had been done to my car. He treated this as simply business and not damage done to someoneβs personal property.3. Our service (tire alignment) was purchased through groupon, meaning we can not get a refund and when confronted on the issue - we told we could come back at a later date. Why would we do such?The next day.. around 10:00 AM, I arrived at Precision Tune AutoCare to speak with AJ, regarding an estimate with MAACO.I decided to get an estimate from MAACO because I recently had my car painted by them and they are familiar with it. The quote from MAACO was $3,000.00 as they went inside the trunk and found damage as well.I informed AJ that I would like to go with MAACO for this reasons stated above. AJ informed me that an adjuster needed to come out because it was βabove a price range.β AJ also stated that I do not get to decide where my car is repaired, the companyβs insurance does; reiterating that I have to accept what they decide for my car.I was receptive to that, though that it seemed troubling because the day before I was told by the estimators and AJ that I decided where I go and that Precision would provide me with a rental; however as I proceeded to ask AJ to explain the process to me he appeared annoyed and stated βThis is above me now. You will have to handle that with another person.βThis was and is unacceptable, as the manager - he should be willing to answer any and all questions that I have due to the damage being caused at his shop with him supervising.I also asked was there an incident report created and AJ informed me that he did not make a report, however if I would like one I can contact a higher up, but did not provide direct information.A week later, after still having the run around the CEO reached out to me and got the ball rolling on my cars repairs. However, it should be noted that I was required to get 5 estimates and in the state of VA, you are only required to get one and you are also allowed to decide where your car is fixed. It is against the law to be told and pushed to do otherwise. Save time and energy and do not go here. Itβs been a month or so later and I just got my car back.
My experience from beginning to end was amazing! They had both of my cars taken care of in no time! Not to mention they offer great prices. Crystal and Blue were awesome! I had previously been a customer at a car dealership near by for seven years and never received the customer service experience that I had Precision Tune Auto. They definitely won me over.
Went in for a simple oil change, and went as expected. The gentleman working at the front desk honestly seemed to care when talking to the 10 or so customers who went in and out during my wait. Hard to trust anyone in the auto industry, but this place seems trustworthy.

These guys have taken care of me twice now. The first time they gave me an honest assessment of a vehicle I was purchasing and the other time I though I had a screw in my tire, BUT it wasnt actually puncturing the tire and they didnt charge me at all. All around good guys and very honest.
The manager was great. Walked me thru the steps of service they were providing. He also conversed great with me over everything from Atlanta to oil changes. Very easy to talk to, especially if you do not know anything except to put in drive. Lol. I enjoyed very much. Very affordable and quick and under the tine quoted. Who can ask for more?
Place is horrible kept my car all day to just do plugs and still didnt do the plugs! When asked how they screw that up the manager and his workers all gave me different stories as to why my car didnt get fixed. They did a diagnostic but told me it didnt show anything but my papaer says clear as day that plugs are a recommended change and the pkugs were in the car. Seeing as how they were all dumbfounded when questioned about my car not getting done maybe its best i didnt let them touch my car anymore they probably wouldve screwed it up more. I would give zero stars if I could
Got two services done here, an alignment and a transmission fluid change, prices were better than other places but for both services I was quoted different prices than paid and I was told I needed to get there first thing when they opened at 8 am to have a chance at being helped.

Went to this location to have them look at a serious problem to my truck. Fixed a converter to my truck and other issues. I have found them to be knowledge caring and understanding or your needs. SSCAM ARTISTS AND FRAUDULENT! They slapped a rejection sticker on my car and tried to scar me into doing 1500 dollars of work. My second opinion passed my inspection and said everything looked great. I even gave him the list of work these guys recommended. They want to SCAM YOU!
For the past few years, we have had them do our oil changes and state inspections for our cars and trucks. Each visit our vehicles were always given an estimated time for service, and each every time they have been on time or early. The price for service is always reasonable. The two times we took in a vehicle that needed to be rejected for safety reasons we were unaware of, it was for a valid reason that was priced very reasonable to repair. We either had them successfully repair it, or we repaired it ourselves and returned for the pass sticker. A great experience each time.

Wait time is ridiculously long. Alignment took 8 hrs to complete with only 3 other customers ahead of me. Was there from open to close. My alignment was not needed, just put on new tires. An alignment is typically done after new tires are put on. That being said why 8 hrs to do a simple alignment.

Took my car there for an alignment because they were the best price I could find around town. I guess I got what I paid for which was terrible service. When I arrive first thing in the morning the guy at the front desk was rude as hell. First word that came out of his mouth were whats the problem?. I patiently disregarded the comment and decided to wait it out since he still had work from the day prior and considering it was my only mode of transportation I was leaving there. After waiting a very long time for my alignment I drove off and went on the highway to try it out. My car was still not driving straight. After a couple hours of having to run some errands I brought it back and and the guy at the front desk once again responded to my presence with whats the problem?I mention to him that the car was still pulling off to one side and he didnt even attempt to correct the problem. He told me I would have to wait because he had other cars to align yet the alignment rack was not being used. He said I could come back early on the morning again and he would fix it then which I feel is a load of B.S. I have to come waste my time again.
The Groupon oil change deal worked perfectly. No extras. They even put in a new air filter I had just bought for no charge. Be warned though, be early. I was number two and it took only 40 minutes. By the time number 4 & 5 got there it was already a two hour wait.
I do not typically do online reviews, but I wanted to share this with you. This past Saturday 6/8 I was in desperate need of a state inspection. It was noon. I traveled around and tried many places in Newport News/Hampton and was told they were not taking any more state inspections for the day. This happened 4 times. When I called Precision I asked if he could fit me in. He made no promises on time but asked that I bring it and they would get to it as soon as possible. I understand a $16 state inspection is not a job that brings big dollars to your business. Even though it was my first time in this location I felt like a valued customer and the manager on duty was not only engaging, he proved to be honest and developed a rapport with each customer I seen come in and out. Due to his honesty and how he handled me I will be bringing my vehicles here for service and will also recommend this location to my family and friends.
I came in at EXACTLY 8:27 am (they open at 8 am) and left at 11:20 am without being serviced. When I initially walked in, there were 3 women in front of me and the lady name Crystal (at the desk) said it would be a 1 hour wait, which was perfectly fine . There were 3 mechanics there and another guy in a black muscle shirt arrived (not sure if he was a mechanic but he was socializing with the other mechanics as if he worked there, an Asian guy) shortly after I 8:45 am. The guys in the back were goofing off at times and the inspector was TERRIBLY SLOW as if he had no care in the world .... 3 hours for an state inspection is unacceptable... IF I WOULD HAVE READ THE REVIEWS BEFOREHAND I WOULD HAVE NOT COME HERE! Crystal did offer me to bring my car back on Monday but I declined . I will take my business elsewhere .
Left my car there for 8hours, went to check on it and was told its too low to get on alignment machine, was then asked do you have boards or something to get it on lift, sure I do would have been nice to know hours ago with a simple call, oh yeah and we havent had a chance to change your tire yet either, car was there at 7:30 before they even opened, was one other car there that is also still sitting in same spot. Also my car is not slammed or even on coilovers, stock height gsr with type r lip.
Once again they took great care of my little red van, it drives like new after the alignment they did. I appreciated that the service writer was a Marine Corps veteran, he was friendly, no BS and got me in first thing in the morning and helped me out with my groupon deal. Last Saturday, I went to this location to get an alignment done on my car after getting a quote by phone by a man named AJ. When I arrived there was no parking in front or on the side of building. I temporarily parked my car in front of one of the bays until I could see a parking spot or see someone to ask where to park. Before I could ask, a black man in uniform which I believe was the manager came running out yelling at me to move my car. I told him to calm down that I was moving my car but that I saw no place to park. He wasnt helpful to me and walked away from me. I had a friend follow me there who was concern and wondered what was going on. The manager came back out and began talking over me explaining to me why he yelled at me...in which I told him that it was uncalled for. I told him I was not doing business there and he said ok and walked away. Extremely rude man and has no customer service skills. DO NOT DO Business there!!!
Bought a full service oil change on Groupon to have to check the fact that you have to pay for the oil filter (cartridge type) which is common. Thats not a full service oil change. Thats a partial oil change. You cant do a oil change with out replacing the filter thats called a flush. Dont ever go here, they cant even advertise deals. Cause that is no deal by far.
The only place I take my car to. Theyβve demonstrated multiple times they can be trusted by finding the problem to be an inexpensive fix, when they could have made up something expensive and Iβd have to believe them since Iβm not a car guru.Highly recommend.

I had a great experience here! I dropped my car off around 11am for a state inspection and a really bad grinding sound. My brake pads and suspension needed replacing, as it turns out. They had it done by the end of the day and my car drove as well as when I first bought it (used, but still). Very professional staff as well. Im very happy with them and would recommend you go see them for your car repair and maintenance needs.

Made appointment to get headlight restoration, as Groupon suggested, website approved the appointment. Get there 5 minutes early and guy says we dont take appointments, although they do.Ok, lets do it and I will wait. Guy says I cannot do it its raining. Um no the sun is shining, it rained 9 hrs ago. Guy says well it is a 4 hour wait, but I cannot because it rained. All you had to say was you did not want to do it, I should have known better than to go here ! ##### After going back and using my Groupon, this was a much better experience. Every one seemed more professional, and ready to help. Also had the inspection done, a short wait and over great second experience. Going to prove that everyone has a off day ! Rating goes to 4 stars !

Not woman friendly. Here was my experience in a nutshell... Check engine light came on went to two advanced autos to get the codes ran. Both times code said P0440 evap system leak.I found that this place does in depth diagnostic checks for $90.. or so.Did the test, Crystal told me I needed 2 new spark plugs and a tune up and gave me two estimates. I asked is that why the check engine light is on and if the repairs would make it go off and make the car run better. She said yes. I went ahead and did the $400 repair.4 hours I was told everything was great with the car and I would be ready to go. I asked again... so the light is off, and wont be coming back on. Crystal said yes, if it does come on just come back up here.................I drove away. Less than a hour the light was on.I called just to hear we dont deal with emissionsOk.... so I brought my car for emission work... instead of saying we dont do that you found anything to get money out of me.$400 later I still have a gas leak.Take your money time and business somewhere else especially if you arent car savvy.I know I could have used a tune up and I am grateful I could get it, but that is not why I came in initially. Its not the money Im upset about its the principle.I would not recommend this place.
I am visiting this location since past two years for my cars all issues when i am facing the manager AJ is good person he always take care of me but this time their service made me really upset and frustrated, i visited like two weeks ago and told to AJ that my car specially front wheels has a little noise after the mechanic checked and said its the caliber of brakes so AJ told me the total cost will be 600.58$ i told him OK lets do it because i was trusting them, i waited 7 hrs for my car to get done, finally it got done when i tried it was the same as it was before i came again and the worked on it and waited 3 hrs but again nothing happened then AJ said will see you tomorrow and will changed the mount of motor maybe it will be good so i visited and they changed but nothing happened and then AJ said we gonna change the other mount but again nothing happened now i am saying i didnt have any problem with my brakes but as they said its brakes problem i said OK so it means my brakes were OK and charged me for that then they couldt find my problem and wasted my time too and took my all money and then i visited two more mechanic shops they couldnt find the problem in my car so they said sorry, so when you not sure why you saying this part is damage so now i will talk to my lawyer to appeal on them in court to get my money back and also to fix my car and in the future i will never visit them again and my all friends too and again i am saying AJ the manager for this location is good person, whoever sees these reviews you can find me in your system by my last name.

Im not sure if they know how to align vehicles, without following instructions that are very generic. I dont drive a complicated car. Hoping to hear from someone, before my Groupon expires. I waited almost two hours to find out they dont know to alignment the front wheels of the car, and apparently a camber bolt is locked up on the back end.

My car broke down on the way to the beach during Memorial Day weekend, and I had it towed to the only shop which promised to look at my car (the shop was closing in one hour). I arrived, the receptionist Crystal was nice and told me to hang on, theyll get to me. Blue (the mechanic) found the problem and replaced the part within 30 minutes. Since I told him I was in a hurry, he used a refurbished part since it would have taken a long time to order a new part - and everything was closed for the weekend.As I left, the car started acting up again, and I called Blue (luckily, I had taken his cell phone number) and he came to my location after work hours. We took the car back to the shop for a second look.Unfortunately, this was Memorial Day weekend, everything was closed, and I didnt even know if I could get back home by Tuesday. Blue went out of his way, during his holiday, to find an available supplier for the part I needed, and replaced the refurbished part with the new part he had obtained. He had to drive quite far to get that part.I drove back home (200 miles away) without any issues, and in time for work on Tuesday. He even checked up on me to make sure I got home ok!
Dont waste your time making appointments apparently they are just for show. So i ended up spending over 3hours waiting while people and vehicles who werent there before me came and went. Save your time, money, and groupons for elsewhere.
This place is a dump. I took my Nissan here for a front end alignment now the car is pulling worse than before and the steering wheel is even crooked.PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I should have read the reviews first. I wish I could give them a NEGATIVE 5 stars.

Worst customer experience. Went in to get an oil change was instantly told I cant, Im not taking anymore cars today. Well, I understand getting busy, but I cant understand the lack of interest in customers. Worst case scenario, you try to see if you can schedule an appointment for the customer or try calling an affiliate store.
BEWARE: My son took my car in for an inspection. They told him my left front marker light was out, and quoted him $101.74 to change it. They told my son they had to take the bumper off to change the light. I told him to refuse the repair. My car had an access panel to get to the light with one philips screw. I changed the bulb for $3, and it took me 3 minutes total.When I complained, they replied that a lot of cars require the removal of the bumper to change a bulb, even though mine did not. They were not apologetic at all, and insisted their quote was reasonable.
First off from a business stand point, everything was great. Crystal was the lady helping me and she was very professional and super kind. I spent almost an hour in their waiting room/ office area and from I can tell she was very polite and knowledgeable with not only me but with about 5 other customers during this time period I was there. So from a business stand point, the service was great, however, I did witness something that kinda bothered me. Crystal is clearly VERY pregnant. And from I gathered a guy named AJ, which Iβm assuming is the manager was giving her a really hard time and seemed to be really tough on her. Seeing how I have a pregnant wife, it really bothered me. I really couldnβt tell you what the issue was between them but just the way he spoke to her and berated her in front of customers alone is unprofessional and it kinda put a damper on this wonderful experience Crystal was giving to her customers. I will be back but this guy needs a stern talking to. Cuz if you dont, I WILL NEXT TIME.
My experience here was terrible. It was a classic swindle. First they showed me a problem with my car and told me one price, $350. Then they called their supplier for the part and told me it was actually going to be a little more, $450. At this point I should have walked out, but my naivety made me stay. Two days after installing the new part the same problems returns. All they needed to do was install a engine mounting bracket. I did a little research on the part and you can find it online between $125 and $200. That means they charged between $250 and $325 for labor - and didnt even install the thing properly. SCAM ARTISTS!!! FAILED MY TRUCK FOR INSPECTION AND TOLD ME IT WOULD COST OVER $1,200 TO HAVE IT FIXED. WHEN I STARTED ASKING QUESTIONS THEY GOT VERY DEFENSIVE AND WORKED UP. DID SOME RESEARCH AND TOOK IT TO HIGHLY RESPECTED MECHANIC AND HE ADVISED IT WAS A MERE LEAK, AND REPLACED THE HOSE FOR A LITTLE OVER $100. THANKFULLY, I DID NOT LISTEN TO THESE FRAUDS AND SAVED OVER $1,000. WOULD STRONGLY DENY THIS PLACE. I WILL NEVER RETURN HERE AGAIN, NOT EVEN FOR ROUTINE OIL CHANGE OR MAINTENANCE. IF THEY TELL YOU SOMETHING IS WRONG, PLEASE GO GET A SECOND OPINION SOMEWHERE ELSE - IT COULD SAVE YOU THOUSANDS!
I went in with a friend while she got her car serviced. I was instantly in awe of how knowledgeable the service writer Crystal was. But I did see her get treated very poorly by her manager, AJ. He came in and threw a clipboard on the counter and said some very rude things to her. She is noticably pregnant. I asked after it happened how far along she was, and she said almost 9 months. My friend has been coming here about 4 years and has always talked so highly of her so I decided to come in with her on this visit to ask a few questions about my vehicle. It is absolutely disgusting how she is treated by her manager. She is a kind, young, very knowledgeable staff member. Someone needs to follow up and stop letting management treat her so poorly.
Quick tire service during a road trip back from the Outerbanks. Prices were reasonable and service was great.
My wife used them in May to change oil...when she left stuff started falling off the car...they gave her a free oil change...well that happen today and they forgot to replace the oil cap....2 strikes your out.....
