Since moving to the area, we have taken our vehicles to Southtowne Chevy/GMC for service. We have not been disappointed. Our service advisor is Tim Jackson. You will find it difficult to find a more knowledgeable advisor when it comes to the Chevy/GMC line of vehicles. He cares about the customer and gets the job done right by staying in close communication with the techs, who are doing the work. They have serviced and repaired our cars right the first try every time! They are very busy so I highly recommend an appointment.

Preston did a great job. My issue with Southtown is from an experience earlier this year. I went there to order a specific 2021 Trail Boss that I built on the Chevy website and they made dozens of excuses as to why they couldn’t have it built. I even offered to finance it through the dealership, and they still balked. Ultimately, I went to a competitor and ordered the truck and received it 2 months later. I agreed to pay MSRP for the truck to compensate them for doing it. When I go to buy a new truck about 5 years from now, I will definitely will NOT go to Southtowne.

Great customer service/friendly. However, the wait time is at least 1-12/hour due to overbooking. Patrons should not have to make an appt (oil change) for extended wait times. Unacceptable! I understand the business concept, but quantity in lieu of quality do not pertain to everthing. The staff also looked tired also so many customers rolling in and out revolving door. The small parking lot also do not accomodate the numbers of vehicles also. This was my first and last visit.

Selling my GMC Sierra 2500 was SO EASY at Southtowne. Appraisal took 10 minutes. Sales process took 25 minutes. Im getting ready to buy a new car and I will absolutely drive to a different county to buy it. My wife blew a tire last week while it was down pouring. She limped her way to the dealer to get it patched. When she got there she was met with the most abysmal, condescending attitude from the service department. She didnt get his name, but works at the counter. He not only told her he didnt have time to fix it, but was incredibly rude about it as well. So this man, turned away a woman in the rain to go drive somewhere else with a flat. What a sad excuse for a man. Not only have you lost my business, but I will go out of my way to not recommend this establishment at every given opportunity.

Awesome experience here. Dealt with Jacob, he was professional, attentive, not pushy and very helpful. Buying a car and sitting at the car dealership can take hours however I was in and out in about two hours. I had my family with me, including two small children (I was only supposed to test drive) and I told Jacob this. He relayed that to financing and they quickly got my loan application pushed through. Great deal on my trade in. Financing officer (I forgot his name) was very personable and friendly as well. Highly recommend this dealership.

I had set-up an appointment and was greeted promptly upon entering the dealership. The vehicle I was interested in was on the back lot, so it was brought around for me.I had driven 3 in the last several days, and did not need to take a test drive.The process has gone smoothly so far, but I have yet to take delivery of the vehicle due to having several options/accessories added from the dealership. The leasing process was somewhat confusing, so that took some time as well.All in all, it was a good experience. I usually do not like to purchase vehicles, but this went well.

But Preston had to go in and fix the mistake that the receptionist did ! Sat from 8:00 to 10:30 to find out the Turbo went out and needed changed after I said it went is little much ! 2nd time not good experience with service. And No Blame On Preston At All My paper work is not the only one that day was written up Wrong ! So No would not recommend Service there even though you have some dedicated to their job.

He made the experience feel right.Now more recently ...This was my first visit to the Service Dept after buying a brand new Sierra in March. It was for the 5k service, Oil Change and tire rotation. I scheduled the appointment 3-4 days in advance for Friday at 4 pm. I got there and was greeted at 3:50 pm (my service advisor was not there when I arrived). I didnt get my truck back to leave until 5:50 pm. 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation with an appointment??? The service advisor told me after tracking him down about an hour and a half after being there... they put your truck in the wrong place and couldnt find it ??? Terrible first experience with the service departmentI balance the two with a 3/5 stars

Four new tires were purchased June 2. Stem valves were not replaced with new ones. Here I am in July with tire problems again. Old stem valves leaked causing very low tire pressure in two tires while I was traveling from Florida to Newnan. When I got home from valve stem replacement, I noticed that one tire did not have stem valve cap. Another tire has 38 PSI when the other three have 34 PSI. What has happened to quality service? I expect things to be done correctly as a respect for my familys safety.

Ive purchased 2 vehicles from Southtowne and both times my salesman was Jerome Lewis. He took great care of me and made sure I had EVERYTHING I asked for, no exceptions. Hes just like family in my book if youre not comfortable with anything, hell fix it until youre 100% satisfied. Everytime I visit for any service or any reason I have excellent service. I didnt care for the financial side because I didnt want gap insurance but he still put it on and said I can cancel later but still that made my note higher now Im told it will come off the end of the loan not happy about that.I also informed him that I already had my plate to transfer and he still charged me and sent out one because I wanted to get a personalized plate so now I paid twice for a plate one which Im not using.

I dont recommend showing up to this dealership on a Sunday, unless you are ready to sign on the dotted line. My wife and I drove an hour on a Sunday because their website listed a number of models she wanted to test drive. After waiting for 30 minutes for a someone to free up to talk to us, she said she would like to test drive a couple of models, the response our salesman gave us was I dont usually do test drives on Sundays because there are only a few hours to make a sale and I usually have a sign up stating that - it was 4:15 so I guess we werent worth the effort. After waiting another 20 minutes and hearing about the staff levels on Sunday, cars not being available (though advertised), only being open a few hours (again) our salesperson managed to get a set of keys. During the test drive, I had to ask questions about the vehicle (typically I cant get car salesmen to be quiet during a test drive). He did get a second set of keys much faster but again had to press him for information on the vehicle. Wife didnt feel comfortable asking to drive anymore vehicles so we left, it was 4:42PM. Hopefully, he was able to sell someone else a car before closing time. The Tuesday after this experience I faxed a letter to the dealership detailing this experience, complete with contact information, if they cared to contact us. So far nothing, maybe your experience will be better.Update, the Monday after posting this review I did receive a call from the dealership to discuss our experience. Since my wife has already purchased a vehicle, any corrective actions were limited but I will say the dealership did reach out and make an effort, so I am willing to consider them with future business . I have updated the number of stars to 3, as this whole experience is not how you want to be treated when making what is the 2nd most expensive purchase most people make in their lifetime. and I am not dissatisfied with the resolution effort.

I was involved in an accident in AL in July 2021 by a USAA customer. USAA was easy to work with but Kelly at Southtowne Collision made it even easier. She scheduled an appt for me to receive an estimate, scheduled the repair appt, called Enterprise Car Rental to pick up a rental while my truck was at Southtown Collision for repair. Kelly had me leave the Enterprise rental car at Southtowne when they were finished with repair and took care of it being turned back in on time. The repair shop did a fantastic job with the repair and repaint and the clean up. I would highly recommend Kelly and Southtowne Collision.

I made an appointment almost 1 week ago to have my car serviced. I took my car in to the shop at 7:30 am. At 4:30 pm, I called the service dept. ( after NOT receiving a call from them, all day) to give me the status of my vehicle. I was transferred to at least 3-4 individuals before getting my service rep.’s voice mail! When I arrived at the service dept., the service rep. told me that they couldn’t get to my car today and could I bring it back on Monday!?!? I asked him why wasn’t my car be serviced? Trying to have understanding, I still couldn’t understand why he didn’t call me earlier in the day to tell me that?! So I could have taken my car somewhere else to be repaired….TODAY! Poor service there. Do not purchase prepaid oil changes. Even when you set an appointment the oil changes are a long and drawn out. I was charged for the last oil change I got because I surpassed a mileage marker for prepaid oil change. I purchase tires from Southtowne they did not offer road hazard but I purchase them anyway. I ran over a small key that punctuated a tire. I was told the tire could not be repaired and one would have to be ordered. I took it to Buck’s tire and they were able to repair the tire no problem. The tire sensor indicator was still on between Southtowne and Bucks so I didn’t realize until I left Bucks that they had not cleared the notifications that the vehicle was due for an oil change. Just shade tree stuff. I would have continued to have service preformed there and purchase more vehicles there in the future but they lost my business in one trip to their service center!!!

Mike was was great and easy to work with ! One of the reasons I came back to Southtowne to get my new car was the ease of the transaction and not pushy at all.Lizz was great also. Andrew was a great sales person. He was very knowledgeable, personable and did a great job of explaining the differences in the vehicles that I asked about. He sold me a vehicle when I wasnt even going to consider purchasing. My mom wanted to see what Acadias looked like. I ended up with a much better, nicer vehicle than what I was even considering in my options of vehicles. Chris was great as well. He closed the deal when I was ready to walk away. Great team especially since I wasnt an easy case for financing. Thank you all for your assistance and support. We will be back in the future!

This is my second time buying a car from there. The customer service is impeccable. I remember going with my parents growing up to buy cars and it was a stressful long experience. That is not the case with you. Everything was finished under three hours and the customer service is the best I’ve ever had at a dealership. I called the dealership at 10 AM to ask about an 2021 Envision Avenir I saw on the internet and by 7 PM . . it was in my garage, 200 miles away !!! The process couldnt have been better - Victor did a GREAT job making it all happen in RECORD time. Ive bought many cars throughout my 68 years, but Ive never had an experience like this one.
