Decent local liquor store. Prices are pretty good and they have a decent selection

Wanted a red wine: smooth, not dry, not too sweet. Asked for the owner’s recommendation, and we loved it. Will definitely come back! (ps. When we stepped into the store, the owner was making himself cocktails while working, we see it as a sign of wine lover 😆). The second photo is just for fun

I thought service would get better with the latest, new ownership. Nope. They are very selective. They like to gaslight anyone they choose, without cause. Put your shopping bag on the counter, say, “I have a bag”, and they still pretend it’s not there. They sell booze for a living, but act like they never heard of a “fifth”, including a certain sour mash whiskey that’s been around nearly forever. They speak English and deliver, yet miraculously cannot understand your address or phone number, even when you are clear-speaking, honest, and kind and never ask for delivery unless pain inhibits walking two blocks. I won’t be nice to them, anymore. They don’t deserve it. They don’t deserve my business, either. Theres nobody to blame but themselves.

Lovey location environment very welcoming

I have been living on this area for quite a while and every time I came by this liquor store was always dark and not inviting. But now overnight it’s been taken over with this guys who are awesome and welcoming. I mean it’s like a time capsule of the liquor store of the hood.I Love it now and more and more than welcome to be back. And their selection is really really good !!!

New management was in the store tonight taking inventory. Very nice gentleman was the owner, believe his name was Armando.We found a bottle of wine that was well priced and in good condition.I’ll be back!PS 4 stars is a very good rating by my standards

They have a good selection of wine for moderate to low prices. Better than most of stores I’ve been to. The hospitality of the employees was very welcoming. They helped me as soon as I walked in.

About a year ago I went there and it had absolutely terrible service. Recently I returned for a quick stop and was surprised at the change the store has had especially in employees. A lot better than before. Good job!

This store has recently been put under new administration about 3 weeks ago. The store has been renovated and has plenty of new inventory at lower prices than other liquor stores in the area. The new employees are very friendly and helpful. I invite you to check out this liquor and wine store for yourself!

How to rate a liquor store right? 4 stars for size of the spot, cleanliness, Variety and price. There are two liquor stores my me onnthe upper west on 95-96th and Columbus and on one Amsterdam and I actually take a walk or drive to this spot instead...

The new administration is offering an exceptional service with a friendly and extremely helpful staff that goes above and beyond customer needs. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other stores. Will definitely be coming back here!

Spacious store. The liquor is now accesible for customers to view for themselves, no longer behind glass. Nice change.

They have a limited selection. If you walk in there they dont offer to help. They just stare like they couldnt be bothered.

After the owner died this place went BAD . I knew the owner personally and he happened to be a very nice guy, dedicated to his business. After his passing new management took over and they are the most rude unprofessional inexperienced people. The neighborhood does not want them there . They drove his buisness to ruins ! The talk down to customers offend them and arent happy to service customers. If you arent people friendly you should own a business. Get another line of work !!!!!

Avoid at ALL costs. This is easily the worst liquor store Ive ever been to. Horrid service by a rude staff that will ignore you for ten minutes before even looking at you. I live across the street and pray for when they close down.
