Cool place, cooler people in a quaint neighborhood Robert Smith might call Fascination Street if it werent already named St. Marks. I give it 3 stars because they need to rotate out their wine selection - it seems a bit tired. They do deliver so getcha drink on with one of their cool drinks delivered to YOUR party.

I’m a picky wino- and love nothing more than a neighborhood shop with a great selection of my favorite vice - St. Marks Wine & Liquor checks that box, though you might not expect it given the address & later hours. Even better- Jon & his team give really good, thoughtful, informative pointers consistently, and I’ve never left disappointed.

They are the best human beings I ever came across. They genuine, took good care of me and my friend. They even have us water because we were too hydrated. I would recommend this place to everyone.

If i could describe this store in one word it would be WOW! They are clutch in so many ways. Not only are they the liquor store opened the latest in the neighborhood, theyre also friendly and knowledgeable. Being such a small store with a great selection of wine, i tip my hat to whoever does the ordering. I can go on and on. Long story short, great place, great prices, great people and you wont be disappointed!!

Theres something for everyone, from beautiful special-occasion bottles to grab-and-go everyday drinks! I especially appreciate all the featured NY local spirits. I found this wonderful little gem completely by accident when I was in St. Marks Place looking for a specific band t-shirt for my daughter. My friend and I never did find the t-shirt but we did stumble upon St. Marks Wine and Liquor. The staff is amazing; very friendly and knowledgeable. The store has a really interesting and well thought out selection of wines and spirits. Next time I am in NYC, I will make a special trip back to St. Marks to visit this fabulous shop!

Wow, what a nice little store. I was pleasantly surprised not to find the usual(boring) choices that every other store carries. Excellent bourbon, scotch and rye selection. This is our new East Village spot, especially since they are open later than the others nearby. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Love this place! Store showcases carefully selected offerings, so theres always something new or different to try, such as quinoa vodka or locally distilled gin. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. If they dont have what youre looking for, theyll special order it for you. Definitely a must-try if you havent checked it out yet.

Cute lil shop. What really makes it is the staff. They are extremely knowledgeable. If you need education or suggestions please ask them. The prices are more than trader joes but you are paying for the knowledge and expertise. Also if you get a membership you get free bottles every now and then.

Very nice ambiance, very good selections, prices are steep when compared to Astor wines just 3 blocks away who have great selections, or S+P around the corner at 2nd Ave and 5th St who have good selections.

My favorite bottle store despite the awful location on the worst stretch of St Marks. A great selection, and very helpful staff. Make sure you have your ID with you.
