After many years and thousands of dollars given to this once wonderful establishment, I have decided to call it quits and look elsewhere. Deliveries don’t arrive, it is, as others have pointed out, horribly over-priced, and the service has suffered. Sad that a neighborhood shop has gone the way of a chain retailer. To quote an employee, ‘Someone was murdered in your building, so they don’t let us go up to deliver to your door.’ While the first half is unfortunately true, being lied to is disappointing.

While this shop may be convenient for locals or transitory business professionals, Rosettas prices are much higher than other local wine and liquor shops. We paid $10 more here for a bottle of Makers Mark and wine pricing is not impressive. Try Simply Wine, just 3 blocks away -- wine is much more affordable, a very fine selection, and also offer some fine spirits. Plus they offer $20 vouchers for every $100 spent. Simply Wine is a much better option for frequenters.

By far, the wine store I go to most often in the neighborhood, because the customer service is so good. Everyone is always friendly and helpful without being overbearing or intrusive while Im browsing. The manager Ali is the absolute best -- her recommendations have become favorites that I buy over and over again. Her selections for me are always spot-on, and she always stays within my requested price range -- she is a true rarity!

Paid $15 for a pint of mediocre vodka, but was out of other options. Could get the same for $6 in many other stores in Manhattan. Never again -- rip-off joint.

Rock solid delivery. Weve been going to them for 2 years. Selection is great, price is fair and the staff is awesome. They remember faces, names and give your dog treats when you come in too. I always use them when I can.

My husband works on Wall Street and we have shopped here together from time to time but its too expensive and the owner is just a conceited hot air balloon. Expensive and just kids as staff who know nothing about wine or liquor

Love this place. Probably the best selection in downtown Manhattan, and ridiculously good customer service. Good hours too!

I didnt think the selection was very broad, and I was appalled at some of the prices. The staff person who helped me didnt seem to know much about wine.

Rude people make me so angry. You are working offering a service to the public. If you dont like your job, go away instead of embittering clients. Terrible service I am very sorry for the manager who is always super nice, but most of all very rude. They wont see my hair in this store anymore.
