Great medium sized shop with one of the best Riesling selections in the city, perhaps the best as far as reasonably priced bottles go (they have about 40 and none are over $60). I have traveled here from Brooklyn just to grab a few bottles of amazing dry Riesling. I can safely recommend the Weedenborn Trocken at $16 for an amazing deal, as well as the Spreitzer Rosengarten GG if you want to treat yourself at $38. You really cant go wrong though, as wine geeks have plenty of the best German and Austrian producers to choose from including Diel, Ott, and Hiedler to pick a few.

I had a hard time whats best to give for my uncles birthday tomorrow. My officemate introduced me to this wine shop, and told me wine is the best gift for him! I went this noon, after lunch, and I was amazed about the wide array of wine and beer they had! The staff was very helpful, as he was helping me pick the best wine for my uncle. Amazing experience!

An excellent whiskey selection in addition to surprisingly reasonable prices for Manhattan. The store is nicely laid out and the woman helping me was friendly and knowledgeable. I had been looking for a particular bottle for quite some time, and not only was it available here, it was 20 to 40 dollars cheaper than comparable stores in the area. If I plan on buying a specialty bottle of bourbon, scotch, or whisky any time soon this will be the destination.

This is my go-to liquor store in NYC. I always call ahead to check and see if they have what Im looking for and they pick up right away every time. They even gift wrapped the bourbon I just picked up for free. Highly recommend - great selection and friendly staff!

Interesting and varied selection, with bottles that you dont see everywhere. Small, but covers the world of wine well.

One of my favorite stores in the city

Its a liquor store, pretty hard to screw that up...yet somehow theyve managed to. I was a regular customer of this store simply because its near my office in the Flatiron District. I no longer shop there and do not plan on ever returning. Aside from poor selection, I became fed up with some of the staff who I found to be rude and less than helpful, in particular a woman who I dubbed big ugly (never got her name, but those who have been there recently will know who I mean). There are simply too many fine purveyors in the city to shop at a mediocre store with rude staff

It would be better if it was all free.

We decided not to partake in the lackluster and overpriced wine in our mini bar at the hotel so, we ventured out to find a store. We rushed as we knew it was almost closing time and we made it just in time.We have a favorite wine that they only sell in boutique stores in Texas and Colorado so, we werent too optimistic about finding it here. We were greeted by the person working immediately upon entering and we showed him a picture of the wine label and to our surprise he took us over to where it was. It wasnt the exact blend but, it was the brand we love.I couldnt believe how knowledgeable the staff was and they were really excited that we knew about the wine and the level of our wine knowledge in general. We stood there chatting for about 10 minutes and after raving about the specific blend they are going to look into acquiring some. For NYC I didnt think this place was too expensive and they have an amazing selection.

Always enjoy talking with the team that works here. They all are knowledgable about whiskey and have a thorough and well thought out selection. Some very cool and harder to find bottlings often show up.
