Decent selection but the “sale bottles” were misleading. Took it in good faith that the $60 bottle was on sale at $40 but only to realize when I got home the exact same wine and vintage was available everywhere at $25 or less. Well I am definitely a one time customer then.

Never shop here!! Rudest employees. Unless you want to have your day ruined and feel miserable - avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other wine stores on the upper east side that offer fantastic and friendly service. Not this one!

Staff was terrible to me and my friends. Two of my friends forgot their ID’s and although me and my other friend had our ID’s they wouldn’t sell to us. We were obviously 21 but solely because my two friends didn’t have an ID he denied us. Also previously followed us around the store as if we were going to steal something. The cashier was also very unprofessional and couldn’t answer any of out questions.

Incredibly helpful staff. Ask for Matt -- he knows everything about scotches, bourbons, kosher wines and pretty much anything else there. Friendly and always aims to please. Prices are not the cheapest but it is the UES. Well worth stopping in.

Right, I was hoping to find more variety from American wineries, but it helps if you are in need of a toast. It complies, but it doesnt shine.
