We spent approximately $1,000 on a Montblanc pen as a gift. We were told we could mail it to them to be engraved, which we did and eventually received it back with a very faint engraving that was barely visible. The pen sat on the desk in its cushioned box and when we finally opened it to use it we noticed a chip on the pen cap. We reached out to Montblanc immediately upon noticing the damage and they replied that it would cost us an additional $100 to fix the damage. We find this is unacceptable and expect them to fix the pen cap without charge. They should stand behind their workmanship and the quality of their product, and furthermore this damage was done in their hands. That a cap could chip at all is unacceptable, and that they would try to charge additional money is disgraceful.

I used to drop by this location regularly a decade ago when I visited NYC for regular business meetings and to visit my cousin who lives in Manhattan.This store was close to my clients office building and my cousins condo. So I would drop in after my meetings to browse around. The quality of the Mont Blanc leather goods are outstanding. They do stand the test of time.I am not a big fan of their ballpoint pens however. I had a Starwalker and a Generation before and I was not impressed. Maybe the Meisterstuck pens are better. But I digress. However, their leather goods are a sure hit.I remember the sales staff ( Brandi and Peter ??? ) were rather helpful. I had no complaints back then.

Always a pleasure to visit this MB Boutique. I had a small problem with the cap and clip of my Montblanc M RED ball point. Mr. Kwok was exceptionally helpful and pleasant and tried to repair in-store, but it will need to be serviced at the center. All of the staff were following COVID risk protocols and hand sanitizer was available--I appreciate that. Absolutely recommend this boutique. I have had Montblanc pens for years, and treasure and value them.

I purchased a strap from this store for a brand new watch I bought in Florida that was too short only to have it come apart in a few months I been purchasing this brand for over 20 years only to be told by there flagship store in New York Madison Ave that its from water damage I didnt spend $3000 to wear it in water the manager offered me a 25% discount to get another strap that I paid $190.00 so disrespectful I will never buy mont blanc again I have pens, card holders, briefcases, etc to be treated like this was unacceptable after having something a few months bad business and the way they handled it was like I bought a stopwatch

Speedy/kind service. The security can feel overwhelming (I normally dont even notice security, but something about it here was odd).One star minus because when I went to buy a watch:1. They were locked out of their own display case 😐2. They did not have any version of the watch available except the display one, on which they did not offer anything extra.

I showed the picture of the roller pen I wanted to buy as a new year gift for my friend. An Asian, around 40-year-old lady told me WHAT I WANTED(which is below$300)IS ONLINE ONLY. THE LEAST PRICE AVAILABLE IN STORE IS $XXX. Will you be comfortable hearing this when you didn’t even mention the price, just looking for some gift?????????????????!!!! Poorest service ever.

My mother bought me a pair of gloves 40 years ago, at a price which made my eyes water. I had them with me, when I visited Montblanc Madison recently....quality items rarely evaporate and can last a lifetime, reminding you of style, grace and the roots of true value every time you look at them or use them. So it is with Montblanc, cheap....absolutely not. Top, peerless quality. Yes. The store on New Yorks Madison Avenue is a perfect vehicle to present, display and tempt you with pens, wallets, bags and lifestyle accessories. All at a price which, if you are remotely like me, will make your eyes water. Jimmy and his colleagues know and understand the brand, inside out and should your eyes betray a hint of moisture, I suspect they will be standing by with a tissue, along with the genuine, enthusiastic and quality welcome.

This Mont Blanc boutique is exceptional in service. Christian, the boutique manager was great. Very polite, professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming. I came here for a bag, and will be back soon for luggage. I loved their luggage. Super lightweight, and good looking!

Poor customer service sad to see an amazing brand try too hard to wear “many hats,” and trying too hard to be a luxury lifestyle brand than what they intended to be originally. I called regarding my newly acquired 149, and wanted to see if they had a service department anyone that could simply look at the min and ensure all is well or if I needed further work. Obviously willing to pay. Sandy the rep that answered the phone changed her tone for some reason and became quite short and condescending during our brief interaction. She inferred more or less that I was an idiot for calling and even asking such a thing because her words not an embellishment, “they haven’t even bothered with a service department for over 3 years.” I guess it’s my fault I should have realized that Montblanc is now just a shop for shiny things and no longer of any substance.

I purchased a Mont Bloc belt from the Madison NY location and was told that I could return the product in 15 days. Mind you that I did not wear the product or cut the belt to length. Perfect unworn Condition. They dont have a Return policy- It is an exchange policy were you will be given credit for an in store product. So buyer beware when signing the contract at the register with the car salesman. Correction PEN Salesmen.

I had to take a moment to share my wonderful experience at this gorgeous boutique. Montblanc is certainly known for their top quality writing instruments, but the timelass beauty, elegance, and quality of their timepieces was astounding. I have done research on them since visiting the store, and indeed, they are very highly regarded in the horological world. The woman who assisted me, Jentia, was wonderful. Her welcoming demeanor, extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for the products she represents was highly professional, and absolutely contagious. I will be sure to return there, and insist on dealing from her.

We stopped at this location while on vacation in New York City. I had always wanted a Montblanc. A gentleman named Kevin helped us and I was very pleased with the service we received. We were at this location the day after Christmas and it was surprisingly busy. It took maybe 5-7 minutes for someone to help us (note: we were not acknowledged during the wait, but it wasnt a long wait). I pretty much knew what I wanted so we werent in to browse. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience at this store due to Kevin who blended the right amount of promptness, politeness, and friendly banter

If google allows me to give them .00001 start i would give it. I bought a watch from them for $4500, it got broke in just 2 week and i went there to get it fixed, they told me its gonna cost $100, than i told him i just bought this watch than he asked me for the book that comes with the watch. I said I need to get to from home, its not with me. He said he will have to ship the watch and its gonna take 2-4 week to fix it. Never buy the watch from them, i guess they are not the best at it.

The customer service is awful. Their staff does not even have know their products. It took them over 5 minutes to find a price on a pen? I bet they will be out of business in the next few years. With the poor customer service, and much less demand for their products, I will be spending my money at better stores on better products.

The clerk was terrible in the way she handled the return gift I received. She was unwilling to change it and she did not even talk to the manager. I bought a pen and a watch in the past and they always assured me that I could exchange it but she simply did not allow it this time because it was purchased from a different boutique. This is unbelievable if you consider the level and quality of products this store sells. I will never buy in that store again, really poor customer service, bad image of Montblanc in the world. This should have never happened in a luxury boutique - and never happens in other stores of similar level, such as Burberry or Tumi.

I went to the store to buy my iPhone case. I was helped by an asian woman on the staff, but she seemed very annoyed at something. I checked the online official site and it said the item was in stock at the store, but she said literally said the item is out of stock without even trying to find it. So I just walked to the iPhone case that is displayed and she yelled at me “don’t put your phone into the case, it’s hard to take out”. Isn’t the display one to try? Seriously Montblanc should do something about her. I have purchased some items from Monblanc, but now I’m so disappointed.

The employees here are superbly unethical and I would give them 0 stars if possible. I live in Seattle and I recently received both a phone call (to my personal cell phone) and an email (to my work address) about a watch repair. Ive never been to this store, much less drop off a watch for repair. Long story short: someone stole and is using my identity in NYC. My problem with this store, and in particular Jimmy Kwok and his manager Jennifer Grippa, is that they are completely ignoring my requests for any information regarding the person using my identify. I will soon report them to the authorities for aiding and abetting identity theft. I suggest you take your business to a place that understands basic ethics.

I have sent a pen to their shop for repair, for which I received a service ticket. The cap of the pen needed to be replaced--their classic meisterstuck fountain pen--which should not be a big deal. I was informed that it will take 2-4 weeks to repair, which is not ideal, but I accepted that since the item needed to be shipped to Texas. It has been over a month and a half from the time I dropped off the item, and I have not received it yet. When I call to follow up on the pen, the staff informs me that, because of a new system, they cannot locate the item (they cannot locate the old repair ticket); their technician will contact the Texas office. They have not provided me with a quote, do not know where the item is, and, to top it all off, I have to reach out to them numerous times to no avail. I even left a message for the store manager, Christian Segal (spelling?), which you would think would be concerned with customer service. He has yet to returns my call! Unacceptable customer service all around!

Having owned many Mont Blanc pens over the years on one the white star on top fell off. I went into this Madison Ave store to get a replacement (simply a screw in top piece) and was told quite nastily they would have to send it to Texas to repair it which could take several weeks. Which means months.....I didnt spend $500 on a pen for this type of service. Why cant thye carry simple spare parts. This is the last mont Blanc pen I will ever buy. The sales person was very nasty, unhelpful and they deserve to go out of business with this sort of customer unservice.
