An understandable choice for late at night - however, there are simply too many better options in the vicinity for cookies to recommend Insomnia. The cookies are small, pricey, and nothing special. This is no fault of the staff, who were helpful, but this location was also out of multiple items that we were looking for. Overall, I dont plan on returning.

Went at 5:45 and they were out of most of the flavors of cookies or only had 1 of whatever was in stock.

I had white chocolate macadamia and green tea. Green tea was not good.

Small spot that fills up quick if youre giving 6ft. Its a standard insomnia cookies location with minimal (likely no) inside seating, and not a ton of nearby outside seats either. There a pinkberry and a van leeuwens ice cream real close if you wanted to get funky with an ice cream sandwich.

I decided to come here after a recommendation from my cousin. I got a six pack of chocolate chunk, sugar, and m&m. I don’t remember the price but I think it was fair for the taste. I enjoyed all cookies thoroughly. I usually hate warm cookies but they weren’t half bad. My favourite had to be the M&M one. Usually I am a plain old chocolate chip type of girl but I think the real stars of the show were the M&M and sugar cookie! Regardless, I would recommend anyone to get a box or two.

Horrible service! Ive gotten accustomed to the bad attitudes, but today @ 3:30 pm was just unacceptable! The Girl behind the desk was slow, didnt know if the cookie had nuts, wasnt wearing her mask, and had the worst attitude! I had to walk out without cookies. So sad!

The girls here dont care, I walked in and they were both there one was doing nothing just standing there and the other was putting stuff on the register and they were just talking within themselves and not even bothered to ask me anything. I really am beyond disappointed with this location. This has got to be my third time visiting. I really tried to give this place a chance each time thinking it was probably not the right time to buy cookies since it was later in the evening and not much foot traffic the first and second times. That time my cookies were cold to a little warm and seemed like they were sitting in for a while.Now this third time on Saturday December 19, I was outdoor dining and decided for dessert in this location. As I proceeded to walk inside I had to stop abruptly because of the amount of people not social distancing in this tiny space. They obviously were not controlling the amount of people for their cube sized store and their was a man sitting down eating his cookies in the store. I thought indoor dining and sitting were banned for now? Well thats not even my biggest complaint yet, in comes a young male employee with his mask covering only his chin and walks with a box from behind the register area to where the customers are to get napkins and proceeds to go back. At this point I thought he must of forgotten to put his mask up but then another employee baking in the back also was using a mask as a chin guard meaning not the nose or mouth covered. I was just livid at this point and wanted to leave asap, I ordered my cookies and walked disappointed to my car.Now this is where I decided to write my review once and for all. Not only do the employees have a disregard to a global pandemic and have no respect to themselves and customers...The cookies were cold and tasted like they were sitting in for awhile. Remember I opened the box as soon as I got in my car! This is not the amazing experience that 125st location gives me with their soft warm cookies melt in your mouth taste! This is just all together one too many times this second ave location gives me a sour taste in my mouth! After giving this place three chances since I live close by to it, I convinced myself that this is all about customer service and the employees at this specific location that are not representing this amazing cookie brand! Please please please retrain your staff at this location so they can live up to at least satisfactory standards. We also should respect one another and wear mask especially at your place of employment! I attached a receipt with time and server but the young lady was wearing her mask it was the other two employees that werent around her. My server just failed to give the fresh warm cookies like expected!!

So most of these locations are tiny but they pack a punch. They have so many different flavors, theyre also freshly baked and theyre so soft! The best part is theyre easily reheatable, 10-15 seconds in the microwave and theyre right back to soft and chewy. The cookies are a bit pricey but worth it. The red velvet cookies are especially fantastic. And the best part is they deliver, and theyre open until 3AM. Just wish they had as many locations in the Bronx or Queens as they do in Manhattan!

The cookies here are freaking amazing and they have an excellent menu selection. I highly recommend giving this place a go if youre a lil cookie monster like myself.

This location doesn’t appear to carry the GF/Vegan chocolate chip FYI. I tried 3 times, twice on a whim and once I ordered ahead for pickup and when I got there they said they didn’t have any. Idk why they couldn’t have let me know or cancelled my order so I didn’t have to walk there just to find out?

Rude and unprofessional staff the lady’s had a bad attitude, I asked for a pb cookie and was told they didn’t have any after I asked twice. I assumed I wouldn’t get a pb cookie but was surprised to find a pb cookie in my 6 cookie box with a half eaten sugar cookie. Walked in to five employees all huddled around the entrance with no masks on as if there was absolutely no pandemic going on whatsoever. They looked at me as though this was intentional so that they wouldnt have to be bothered to serve any customers (at 8pm). This place is incredibly small, so it is best you take it go. There are a few seats, but its better to take it to go. They have a good selection and good staff. It didnt take that long for my cookies, and they were great quality. Best first time experience with Insomnia Cookies.

Spoke to a delivery man named kevin about a promotion buy one get one the delivery man was nice enough to go into the store and ask a server for me. As we enter the store one of the other servers who was coaching someone new said we were doing the promotion bogo and began taking our order! We were then charged for both and was also refused a refund! We were told that the promotion is only online and due to covid they cannot take the cookies back as well as process a refund it has to be done with customer care!

I absolutely loved insomnia cookies. It is located in Manhattan I believe on the upper west side and it is great. Open fairly late. To serve all you insomniac cookie fiend heads, this place is absolutely positively sure to delight whether you task into this establishment looking for sugar cookies vanilla cookies chocolate cookies red velvet cookie fudge cookie brownie cookies whichever is your preference Im sure youll. Upon entering the store I said hi to the staff and they continued talking amongst themselves and completely ignored the guest. It was an uncomfortable atmosphere to walk into. The cookies were alright, definitely not Levain.

These cookies are awesome! They are open late-hence the name-and they are pretty fast if you order. There are a couple employees who just make this place so great. They are always super happy to help and have fantastic customer service. I would say the only thing they need to work on here, is making sure the cookies are delivered or received warm when purchased.

Terrible experience. I go online and see a deal but I figured I’ll just ask if it can just be done in the store. Ask a man named Kevin that delivers cookies he went inside to ask if it is possible to redeem in store they said yes. As I go to pay they begin to charge me for both. I then ask where is the bogo deal I was promised. Rep said it has to be ordered online, and I wouldn’t have had a problem doing that if I was told that from the beginning it was just a complete waste of time.

I placed an order last night on the website to pick up today. The website gave me the option to pick up my order at 10:15am. I walked into the store and the person at the register didn’t say a word, I informed the employee that I had placed an order the night before and I was there to pick up. Her response was, “yeah, you have to wait, I don’t know why it let you order at this time, we just opened, I spoke to my boss and she said the same thing, you have to wait” and I said “Okay, that’s not a problem” but she was so rude about it.20 minutes later I went back to pick up my order and she’s throwing trays in the back as if she’s upset about something. I ask if my order is ready and she hands the boxes to me without saying a word. I say thank you and she still doesn’t say anything and just looks at me as if I have two heads. I didn’t have a problem waiting, I understood that she just opened and it takes time to bake the cookies but there’s a way you can deliver a message to a customer without being rude about it.

Delicious and on time. Staff is very helpful in sorting out order when I made a mistake. Will definitely order again.

I placed an order on the app for pickup. When I walked into the store there was no one there. After several minutes a girls walks up, looking at her phone while eating a cookie, doesn’t say a word. Umm I’m here to pick up my order. She walks in the back and comes back and hands me the box without saying a thing. I said thanks and left. Really an awkward thing when the customer has to say thank you. The cookies were nothing special, fairly hard and several broken. I’d rather eat stale chips ahoy than ever order from here again.

I drove 35 minutes for these cookies.I got there and I was unable to walk in.. an employee sat in a chair and rolled his eyes when I walked up..A note on through door said order online, so I had to download the app to place an order, I did.I instantly got a text that says if you want curbside please call this number.The employee answered the phone and said we dont do thatAlthough the cookies were good Iwould have liked nicer employees and better service.

Great food. Some of the best cookies ever. However, Weve, i would advice you go in and order, or user their app. Weve ordered from Seamless and its takes about twice as long as they say (so it took about 90 minutes to get to us). We even ordered a cookie cake once (which the y say takes an hour to bake) and it took 3 hours to get to us. It was great once we got it, but keep that in mind if you need it timely.

This is the main insomnia cookies store that I frequent too it has great cookies and many other great desserts. I like to take my time and enjoy my cookies in the nearby park . You should come down here and try a few cookies. You won’t like it because you will have something more to love.

The only reason this place is getting two stars is because of the corporate customer service people who I spoke with. DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THIS LOCATION. It took two hours for my delivery of 6 cookies (on a Wednesday night at 8:30pm). Finally get the box, open it and theres 4 cookies. I called the phone number listed and they were more than helpful and issued me a full refund. Unfortunately, lesson learned and will not order delivery from here again.

First and foremost, I was highly recommended to insomnia Cookies. Because I was around the area, I thought the most convenient place would be this one. However, after going inside, the staff treated me horribly. With just being inside for two minutes, they rushed my family and I, and quickly hissed at us when our order was not ready. Moreover, there was a particular staff member who was completely disrespectful and made the atmosphere of insomnia cookies, the worst. Needless to say, she was not even the staff member who was helping me, she was next to her. The rude staff member would say phrases underneath her breath like “When are y’all gonna order” with an attitude. As I was leaving, I heard her say “f&@k .... her”. I will never be attending this particular place and I hope nobody else does!However, the cookies were great and warm!

5 stars for the cookies, one star less for the actual space and the lack of milk options! Come on guys, its 2016! All they have is regular milk and chocolate milk no soy milk, almond milk or any type of alternative for those of us with allergies or intolerances. Not being picky some people actually cant have milk and for a place whose main focus is cookies (that is obviously regularly paired with milk!), youd think theyd take this into consideration. Definitely worth looking into, Insomnia!Anyway, the space is tiny and really not meant for anyone to hang around. There are like 3 stools and thats about it and the decor is horrible and pretty unwelcoming. The only thing that IS welcoming is the smell!So, on to the cookies...theyre great! Not too too many options, but the ones they have are fantastic and relatively cheap. Always served warm and they taste great!

The staff here R so helpful in informing the customers about thier menu. This is the best place 2 go 2 when U have that very late night craving or just want the closest 2 an actual fresh homemade cookie coming out the oven. U wont b disappointed instead ull become ADDICTED!! 😍🍪🥛

The staff handed me my cookie over the counter and I sat down immediately to eat it. The cookie was COLD AND HARD! This location is a disgrace to the franchise! I have been to many Insomnia Cookie locations across manhattan and I have never received a cold and hard cookie over the counter. Insomnia Cookie’s motto is that they serve warm cookies and the cookie I received here was a cold and hard disappointment. Not to mention that the staff were sitting in all the customer seats except for one and loudly talking about how they were going to call out of work. I will never waste my time at this location again and no one else should either.

Theyve a great collection of cookies

Insomnia has the best warm cookies and they deliver until 3AM. My favorites are the peanut Butter Cup and the Smores cookie. They have about 12 flavors of cookies and also serve cold milk. The store smells so good just from walking by I want to stop in.

The best comfort food. I wouldnt rule out driving into NYC just to get insomnia cookies. Highly recommended.

Ive been to other insomnia cookies around the city and they are great. But when i visited this location the cookies i got were a little dry and not as soft as usual.

I came here Monday night around 11:30pm. The cashier at this place WAS SO RUDE. Not only did I walk more than a mile to this location, i had my dog with me. As a person who works in the food industry I know what the policies are and how to address them to customers in a POLITE manner. As soon as I stepped my foot in the door, the cashier yelled across the store for me to step out with my dog. At first I was caught off by the blatant disrespect. As he saw my confusion, he went ahead to make a comment about whether he’s speaking in a foreign language. He was by far the most disrespectful employee I came across and never felt more insulted. I will not be coming to this location ever again since the customer service is horrible.

The cookies are ok. I reccomend buying oven baked pilsbury. Other than that the service is absolutely terrible. Rude workers that ignore you when you are in the store and talk to other employees and constantly on the phone. Constantly I have problems with delivery, first they take way too long when I am very close. This wouldn’t be a problem if the cookies were fresh in the first place yet they rarely are. And second I placed an order at 12. Was notified that the order was complete at 12:20 when it had not been. Then I called once and was told it was a mistake and would be to me soon. Nothing... second phone call same thing. An hour passes. Nothing... third phone call and I’m told my cookies are sitting there because god knows why. It’s currently 2:00 and I have not received my cookies. Looking forward to my overpriced stall cookies. Thanks insomnia. Trust me make your own cookies you won’t regret it ever. Order from insomnia once, and you can’t say the same.

The main flavors like chocolate chip or oatmeal raisin are very underwhelming. I always go with the snickerdoodle cookies instead. Also dont get delivery if you want hot cookies, they will show up cold.

Cookies are decent but not mind-blowing. Theyre served warm, which is a fantastic touch. Classic chocolate chip is the way to go. Snickerdoodles are tasty but very sweet; many of the other flavors are overly loaded with add-ons. Worth popping in if youre nearby and craving a cookie, but certainly not worth a trek.

The best part about this cookie place is that they deliver and they are open until 3am!! If you have a late night craving for some delicious cookies than this is the place to go! Needs bike for deliveries so I worked with them because they said they worked for this place. Big mistake. First buyer on list, so after a couple days of leaving me hanging I reached out again one last time and went here to re-introduce and buy some cookies. They suddenly wanted nothing to do with me and was grilling me the whole time. Accused me of being a suspect (Really? The actual f?) Really obnoxious and definitely not worth $1.50They come in high, so if youre following up with them about anything other than weed or cookies they get annoyed. Boring staff members. Go to Subways for hot cookies. Everyone is just trying to make money and survive so I guess that explains them. Good luck with your strategy.

I went into the store. There was a large sign that clearly states 6 chocolate chunk cockies for $4.99. I asked for it and the lady at the registered says, no and says we do not offer that deal anymore, if u want it you have to pay full price. Then, I asked if she would please honor it being that the sign was clearly posted, she says, I said no and turns the sign over, And says I cant do it my computer wont allow me to do it and walks away to the back. Some customer service. Mind you I was there yesterday and I purchased a dozen cookies paid full price and the sign was not there. Very disappointed
