This cookie cake was literally one of the best cookie cakes I’ve ever had. Everyone loves insomnia but this was the first time I’ve had a cookie cake from here and would 100% get it again. Only recommendation is to ask for more frosting on the cookie because that was honestly the best part.

I usually order from here and the cookies are so good. I paid 12 dollars for a box of 6 cookies on seamless and the order never even came. I tried to call the number of the store and was told to call the store directly but there was no number for the store directly.

The cookies here are amazing and the staff is incredible!

2nd time ordering from here and they got the order wrong twice. Sent extra cookies the first time (I like free things but this is proof of how they don’t pay attention to online orders.) The second time, I ordered 3 chocolate chip chunk and 3 double chocolate chunk and they sent me 6 double chocolate chunk cookies.

Love love love. Cookies always warm and fresh. The staff is friendly and keeps my laughing. Some of the best cookies around. My favorite is the peanut butter cup and now they have salted carmel.

I used to work in a hotel in Little Italy. I would end my shift at 12am and head here to have the best ride home of my life. Late night driving with late night cookies, perfect combination. You will not regret this infamous place. Pillsbury who?

I ordered 6 cookies. 2 sugar, 2 salted caramel and 2 confetti deluxe and the latter was hard as a ROCK! The unfriendly and cold employee knew this and still didn’t care. I called what I thought was the stores number and I actually got customer service who was just as useless. Why would you put cookies you know are hard as a dock into a customers box?? And you wonder why you work at a cookie shop. Good luck in the future with that careless attitude!

Love them! Community minded. God bless small businesses in NYC who let you put up flyers for their school rummage sales, Hurricane Relief benefit, Open Studios, Blood Drives, etc. Because Key Food wont let you and neither will the LES hipster boutiques who are actually part of larger corporations (ask um). Yum ~warm cookies until 2am! This place was just around the corner from our hotel on the LES. Warm soft perfectly baked cookies. If you love cookies this is always a consistently great place to stop by almost any hour of the day.

Nothing beats this late night chain. Aftwr a night out after a meal and perhaps a few drinks it is a great way to cap off the evening. The cookies themselves are always fresh. Make sure you buy enough to take home with you because you with undoubtedly eat some in transit.

If anything, do not order their cookies through ubereats. Its like they deliberately gave me the mistake cookies or from the bad batches of each type of cookie I ordered. Cookies were of different shapes, uneven distribution of chocolate chips and Im annoyed I didnt get to take a photo of the the sugar cookie that was placed cut in half on the bottom of the box. If anything, dont get your cookies from this location (164 orchard St). Just so disappointed with the quality and just the disrespect in selling lower quality cookies.

I used to frequent the insomnia in west village and their cookies are great, well worth the price. Ive moved next door to this location now, and after coming here three times Ive found the cookies are stale, hard on the edges and not warmed up like Ive grown used too from their other location. Not worth the $5-$10 for me unfortunately. May be worth noting that I work late and am picking up anywhere between 11pm and 1am.Kind of a bummer man.

Great cookies. Even better as a late night snack. 1am cookies are always a good idea. The staff is typical of what you get at Insomnia, dont expect much in that area. As usual the bakery has a small seating area. This is the perfect place to wait for an Uber.

I sell chocolate chip cookies myself and I have to say this is a very good chocolate chip cookie. But what I love about this place is chocolate chip cookies 24 hours a day 7 days a week and they deliver. Cant beat that with a bat.

Loved it! Watch the calories, everything looks delicious and its easy to let your eyes order to much. A deluxe cookiewich can be almost 1500 calories. I had the deluxe chocolate peanut butter cup. So. Yummy. Good.

Cookies should be served in a spirit of hospitality. I experienced outright hostility today by the young lady serving us. Regardless of the quality or taste of the cookies, I felt so put off by her lack of any inkling of hospitality, so I wont be going back.

I order from Insomnia Cookies more often than Id like to admit, from multiple locations around Manhattan, and I have to say the Lower East Side location is my absolute least favorite.Got into an accident, came home and wanted to comfort myself with some fresh baked cookies. After an hour and a half of waiting for the app to change from Baking to On its Way, I called HQ to figure out where my order was and the man on the phone, who was less than helpful, notified me that the alert on my phone was changed before abruptly hanging up. Another hour later I still had no cookies, so I called again, only to find out that for a second time my address glitched and half of my delivery instructions were cut out. Not only that, but according to the store my CASH delivery was actually completed, but I wasnt the recipient; the cookies was sold to someone else (or eaten by their lazy delivery boys).I refuse to order Insomnia Cookies at home anymore because I cant deal with the people at this location and the low-lives they hire for deliveries.

The guy at the register with glasses couldn’t have been more rude and non welcoming than he was. Cookie was delicious but the energy and rudeness just messed everything up. Even after my friend mentioned his rudeness he said “if I would’ve known you never been here I would’ve explained” why would we have to mention we never been here ? Customer service is customer service. I have been in the hospitality business for over 10 years and my friend has been for 20 years. We know what real customer service is.Insomnia cookies- please hire ppl who are welcoming and pretend to like the job even if they don’t.

The cookies were good but the customer service was so atrocious that it’s not even worth it. the cashier was so rude to every customer I saw walk in. Didn’t even look them in the eyes, say hello, or thank you. She even rolled her eyes when I said I needed a minute.

I used to really love ordering from Insomnia years ago when I was living in the west village, so super disappointed to leave a negative review for the LES location.Ordered from Seamless; waited over an hour and never got my order. I called up Insomnia, asked to cancel my order (since at that point it was midnight and I needed to sleep), they said the delivery was attempted but I didnt answer my phone (definitely not true), but that theyd cancel my order.Two days later, Im charged on Paypal for my order. I contact Seamless, and it turns out the guy I talked to never canceled my order. Would not recommend.

Do not order from this store! Waited for delivery as a guest at Best Western Hotel. Delivery never came. Manager hang up the phone on me stating I was a liar and had received the cookies. Had to involve Front desk Manager of hotel who checked on camera feeds and also assured me than no Delivery man was bused into the lobby being past 12 AM. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD and WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Manager and delivery employees should be fired ASAP!

Cashier at 9pm Saturday April 28 was extremely rude. I ordered a cookiewich and asked if I could have a cup after she rang me up and she responded with “for what?!” as if I was a nuisance and not a paying customer. I took major offense to that, and responded with for the cookiewich that I just purchased and took a cup and she said “uh no” and I took one and walked out. Extremely rude service. Not my fault you have work on a Saturday night.

I hate this location. I have gone here two times around 12 - 1 am and the workers are outside smoking pot and tell me to come back in 15 minutes. This is rediculous and they just lost a customer. The cookies are great aside from that.
