I had a blast visiting grand slam today! Even though I had to pay a lot of money for a customized Detroit Tigers jersey, I was able to eventually take it home with me to my apartment the same day I bought and customized the jersey. But although I had a little bit of trouble with the communication with the store employees, they seemed kind enough to help me and even if there was an issue or so, I did end leaving with a happy face and the jersey. So I wanna thank Grand Slam NY for a great customer experience and I totally recommend this store to anyone who comes to New York City and wants a souvenir and/or a customized sports jersey.

Its more cheaper if you go to other store across the street. Some stores theyre selling shirts 4 for $10.

Great product selection. Prices are reasonable, some even lower than this store I visited in the Bronx. Customer attention could use some enhancement. Dont miss the top floor.

I purchased a custom jersey as a gift for a relative. The jersey arrived fairly quickly, but with three large stains on the white jersey. I immediately emailed images to Grand Slam giving them the opportunity to remedy the problem. After not hearing back from them I started to call, and with no one ever answering the number listed on the website. At this point it had been over a week, I have sent multiple emails, called 10+ times, and left 4 voice-mails, and have yet to receive any response. Horrible customer service had forced me to leave this poor review when simply fixing the error would have resulted in a positive experience.

I bought a luggage and paid for it then when i walked out the alarm rang. And then i went back to cashier and told them there is still a barcode inside the luggage but they were yelling at me and told me it was my fault. They accuse me of having some items inside by saying “no stealing in this store” BUT I DIDNT STEAL ANYTHING. I paid for the things i bought and have the receipt to prove it. Then when i asked for refund, the cashier a filipino woman with highlighted hair, yelled at me for asking a refund. But because i dont want to leave without the thing i have paid or the money i should get back, i insisted. After a long fight they finally gave up. I hate this store and i will never come back. If u care about being treated nicely as a guess who actually pay for things u buy, DO NOT SHOP AT THIS STORE!!

When walking by I saw Funko pop in the window so I checked it out, the middle floor didn’t have much but down stairs had a good selection but it was expensive! Definitely a must for any souvenirs or Funko.

This place had great options but things there were overpriced but its New York what do you expect. This place is nice to stop by while you are in Times Square. They have been open since 1991.

Best souvenir store in NYC. They have a huge selection on 3 levels. You find everything you need and its a fair price. Its really a lot of fun to brows thru the whole store.We loved this store 10 years ago and it still is the same!!!

My friend comes to NYC every year and always did her souvenir shopping at this store. I don’t come every year, but maybe every other year or so and would also patronize this business. I would have told you this was a good place to get souvenirs, however, this visit something alarming happened. My friend and I stopped by to purchase souvenirs as we usually do. I guess the store was not quite open yet, though I did not realize that as the lights were on and front door not locked. As I opened the door, there was some sort of a small wooden block leaning against the door that fell over as I opened it. A gentleman came running over, yelling at me, and got in my face and was being physically intimidating and aggressive. It took me a few seconds to understand that they must not be open yet, and he started screaming at me to back out, and when I didn’t react fast enough for him, he rushed me and continued to scream at me, getting in my face and being physically threatening and intimidating, he almost physically pushed me back. It was quite frankly scary. I’m not sure if this is a security guard or if the store is under new management, but I won’t be going back to this store and would advise others to stay away. A simple, “sorry, we aren’t open yet, come back in 10 minutes” would have been sufficient.

Options, good costumer service and easy access. I was with small group of young adults and we enjoyed our time in the store and the plethora of items. The prices were great and the check out process was smoother and easy.

Go downstairs to the cheaper stuff. So worth it. Lines get long but move quick. Great take home stuff for cheap.

I ordered the Jackie Robinson costume for kids. Excellent quality, offical MLB jersey. Fast shipping.From reading other reviews I knew to size up in baseball pants. They run on the small side. My son wears a 7/8 and I ordered Med 10/12. They fit perfectly. I called Grand slam with a shipping question and customer service was excellent!

Definitely by far my favorite store in Times Square when it comes to best souvenirs, especially for any kids who constantly are losing things.This store has three levels. On the lowest level, there are over 100 binds with awesome New York City souvenirs. Best part is that these items (downstairs on the left) are 99 cents. I got a lot of cute souvenirs.So again for the kids, this is definitely ideal. Also ideal if you have to buy a lot of NYC souvenirs for the family and friends and co-workers. There are a lot of tourist stores you can find that New York branded item and souvenir. Theyre all gonna have mostly the same stuff, but this place is on time square and is multiple stories. So, if you want to say I got this in Time Square then go here. Its ok to still shop around for unique gifts but make this place one of your stops.

Fast delivery and quality product. I am big fond of online shopping and mostly I buy my clothes online. Recently, I have bought a jeans from this store and seriously it’s amazing, fitting is perfect, the fabric is so comfortable.

All of the souvenir shops in this area are pretty much the same, with all of the same stuff. This one seems to have slightly lower prices than the rest of them. It is bigger, so feels less cramped, as there are 3 different floors. The 3rd floor is mostly designated for NY Yankee gifts.

Busy store, all the souvenirs you could possibly want.I took my purchase to the till and the staff made sure I got a new boxed one and not the one that had been on display. It was right on times Square and I expected the prices to be crazy, but they were actually quite reasonable.Loads of choices, loads of staff, nice location and good service.

WARNING: Be EXTREMELY careful in this place, i went to pay for something and put my wallet on the counter, turned around and my wallet was GONE, I believe staff stole it but was told i could not view security cameras until Monday, came back Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and still unable to obtain access. These people are thieves, watch your back in here.

The store has ideal location in the center of Times square. The prices are really good Id say its more than affordable. You can fine gifts for less than 1 dollar. Great choice!

I have visited Gram Slam now twice and love it!!! It has everything anyone could want in souvenirs. It is a clean facility and the people are super friendly. I will be there again this March for Spring Break. Keep up the good work.

I was in New York for the first time. And I found this great deal. There were many things to choose from. Some were also cheap. Tourist can buy satisfied. as much as he wants. I give a thumbs up.

Grand Slam was the closest place to buy the Converse shoes.The shop assistants arent especially nice guys. However when I had to come back and exchange the shoes to the bigger ones they did it quickly and without complaining.Overall - its a good place to do shopping.

WOW! All I can say is WOW. Delivered a personalized Mets Jersey, as expected! This was 2 weeks before Christmas...All other outlets had 7-8 weeks lead time. Place is a Tourist trap.. If you are from NYC stay away.. Prices in store are higher than the website.. I asked the guy working there for 6 custom printed shirts.. And it was 5 to 6 dollars more per shirt.. When I pulled up their website and showed him the prices.. He just looked at me with a blank look and mumbled something.. So I just left. They lost out on a sale for 6 custom shirts because of greed..

This store hacks me in 136.89$, Credit me for three deals that i didn’t do.I tried to pay hem in credit 3 times in the same transaction Every deal on a total 45.63$, they said that the credit cards is work after I enter the pin code، at least I paid in cash.When I check my credit detail I seen that they Credit me for three deals.

Cannot speak more highly of the customer service at Grand Slam. I had some mugs shipped to me- one happened to have a crack through the body of the mug and the other had a small chip (the others were in perfect shape). I called and fully expected pushback and instead they asked how many were damaged and what color mugs needed replacing. In two days I rcvd the replacements. Ive shopped here the last several years when buying bulk souvenirs and will do so again

The best shop to buy suviniers, as this is the only shop which is owned by the owner. Therefore, the prices are very reasonable. I bought a bubble head, it was $24 however, in every other shop they were selling it for $34. Similarly shirts and all other stuff is not so expensive, compared to others.

Ad potential to get 5 stars if it wasnt for the staff.We went in about 10:30pm on a week night. Time Square at 10:30 is pretty busy and full of all kinds of people. We were loving it.My son asked to stop in here because he saw some baseball stuff and fidget spinners in the window. We went in and immediately liked the selection and prices. They had some of the other stuff that are the norm for souvenir shops. But this place had a better selection and prices were good. We were excited to see the downstairs section that had 99 cents stuff. However, here comes my 2 star rating. We never made it there.....We had a few things and were checking out some shirts. It was only 10:45 at this point and some man started walking around the store yelling what we thought was clothes. Turns out he was yelling closed and other employees started walking around yelling at everyone to go check out because they were closing. It was early in Times Square time! That being said, Ive worked retail and know that they have to go home sometime and no one wants to be stuck at work later than they need to be. However, the store was packed. Some people just put their stuff down and left. We raced to the register to check out and had a very disappointed child because we never made it to the 99cent section. Perhaps they could have posted their hours, had the guy at the door tell people they were about to close when we walked in at 10:30 and lots of others walked in behind us or announced it earlier and perhaps a little kinder.The cashiers were incredibly rude and were practically yelling at customers.We will be back to NYC, but will not be back here when there are so many other stores with much nicer employees.

THE CHEAPEST! I have been to a bunch of gift shops around the city and this is the cheapest. Anything you buy here will be cheaper than it is in other stores. This is a three-floored place and they have all of those famous gifts plus sports ones.

Grand Slam is one of my favorite NYC souvenir shops. Especially good to recommend to visitors who arent really sure what to purchase. Grand Slam offers a little of everything from mini statues of our skyline to attire that celebrates landmarks. Also of interests are official souvenirs from NYC Taxis, FDNY, DSNY, NYPD and much more.
