This is my go to BBB. They have great customer service buy sometimes very long lines to pay. They have a pretty good harmon section, nice nail supply area, you can find great deep conditioners. Some of the other items can be hit or miss - depending on what youre looking for eg steamer, coffee maker, toaster oven. They also have decent snacks - used to be better. Cant forget the complimentary diy gift wrap section...
Wonderful store..everything you could imagine for your home and personal items..Unfortunately, this store is closing on December 24th...It will be missed 😢
Its my best go to place I am so sorry that is going out of business but the staff is lovely in the supervisor Tonia shes the greatest I wish them all success and all the endeavors
Most BBBs are nice, except this one. Gladly they are closing down. The energy is very bad, the store is like looted, the security and cashiers are very rude, maybe because all the staff will lose their jobs soon. Well, to say it outloud, you guys deserve it. A good store knows how to maintain its grace even if its closing tomorrow.
Well stocked as you would expect. I just ran in to run out. I guess if you were in there to linger and browse, it may feel more organized. But the worse part was the waiting on line... Did I mention that I wanted to run out? Couldnt happen, not with that line that went nowhere fast😕
The Bed Bath & Beyond on 60th Street and 1st Avenue West excited for me a lot of things that I was looking for at the Halloween store wasnt there I found it on the one on 60th Street and 1st Avenue one of the supervisors day I remember her from the Harlem store she was so nice to me she let everybody know that I was one of the best customers up there or at the Holland location and shes helping me find different things that Ive been trying to look for for the longest my name is Alex Miss Alex she is extremely well I love going there Im going back this Tuesday and this Thursday God willing I can get everything that I need I think Im going to stay down there until December thats when they close finally she said it wont be no more Bed Bath & Beyond that which I will truly miss them so I hope they will be transferred to a location that everything works out fine for them Im praying for them
Had good memories about this store. Always nice service and the best layout and size of them all. Too bad this location is marked for closure.
I came to this location last week to return a purchase I made with an Affirm Virtual Credit Card. Ive returned an item purchased with Affirm once before to the Queens location with absolutely no problems. For some reason at this location it took 1 customer service representative and 2 managers to figure out a way for me to return an item. I had to explain SEVERAL times that Affirm is not a gift card, but it is actual money that I have to pay back. So a store credit will not do.After treating me like I was scamming Bed Bath & Beyond, they finally allowed me to get a refund on the card by allowing me a one-time courtesy. I will avoid this location as much possible and just use the Queens location since they seem to have a better trained team.
I liked the 410 east 61st. Store. They are very kind and well trained. The store is well stocked. The line may be long but I really like that they 5-6 cashier stations and they are all occupied for quicker transactional exit of customers. I leave very happy with my experience.
I used to go to this location because of the variety of kitchen tools and pantry items. Since COVID-19 took hold, theyve had a drastically reduced stock. I can still pick up kitchen tools, but I can no longer use the grocery section to put together my holiday gift bags.
Ghost town. Looks like everyone is doing the online thing for future purchases. This place has been gutted.
Terrible experience it is not organized at all I went to buy buy baby but the didnt have anything and things were totally unorganized and barely have anything. Very poorly maintained. I recommend shopping online instead. Doesnt worth the visit. Very very busy area wont find parking easily
The place is like a looted store. Could be because BB&B is going to close soon, but there is almost nothing inside, empty shelves and closed departments. go to another one or try online, my suggestion.
Sales associates were super rude. I had to really remind the young lady theres no need to be nasty when u picked this job.
This place has plenty of choices on a wide range of items. While there may be better options as far as price, this place will have everything you need. The highlight of this place is its coffee selection.
Kind of a messy place, it is impossible to find what youre looking for and most of products that you see first arent for babies... Wont come back !The staff is super nice though
Curbside pickup was easy even for non-car goers. Ordered the night before and items were ready the morning after. I just swung by and they scanned my emailed barcode and showed id and gone. Probably one of the better curbside pickup I had this covid experience.
Has basics you need and made it easier for social distancing. They do sell refills for SodaStream.
Their window treatments department was a mess. They would have gotten a higher score if it were tidier and better stocked.
Apparently their lease at this location expires at the end of the year so theyre not buying more stock of some things... Now helpful when the only thing I need isnt here lol
One of the best stores in New York City they have everything you want and very friendly
Excellent Customer Service! A product I picked up was priced incorrectly. The Manager gave me 20% off of the product for their error as well as a $5.00 coupon off $15.00 spent. I went back the next day for something else and was offered another coupon, even after telling the gentleman that offered it to me that I already had one. This store is well stocked and organized. There is always someone available to help you and the staff is so friendly. Even the Security Guard is welcoming. Great prices and no long lines. Ill be shopping here more often. Thanks for such great treatment in this tough city.
Its exactly what you would expect from Bed Bath and Beyond. I came here to get some things I needed for traveling. It is a great place to buy necessities at a reasonable price. Check it out for your beauty products, they have a great selection. It is also a great spot to get travel sized toiletries and supplies. They of course have the usual Bed Bath and Beyond stuff here too.
Good place where you can find good quality home goods. Now they also opened a grocery store focused on international produce, quite pricey indeed but convenient to have if you live in the neighborhood (especially after the queensboro bridge food emporium closed a couple of years ago). This place got significantly better now that they changed the checkout process!
We went for but buy baby but the one here is really small! go to the Chelsea location for much more selection.
The store was clean little low on stock nice and helpful employees. The worst part was a long long long line to the registers.
You always find something you didnt know you needed here, and, besides, I love gadgets, and their gadgets are USEFUL gadgets that actually work! As an overseas visitor to the USA, there are things I buy regularly, for example, their cedar blocks. Also I buy a pack of good quality slim clothes hangers every time, too, to replace my bulkier hangers. The quality of everything is amazing, and very reasonably priced, and gosh, I can buy everything for the home, as well as snacks if Im hungry, AND my make-up all in one store! Whats not to love! The staff are always willing to help, too, if help is needed.
Many products to choose from, and the prices are reasonable and at times better than other stores.
So many choices, but the lines were long. I like how there are so many things to choose from but I can’t figure out what to buy or know what is the best product to buy.
A shame that they have gotten rid of World Market! Should have had it on their ground floor! Terrible floor planners in this company! Dont know anything about retail!
Will work to help you. But. Be careful about returns from covid. Give you a hardtime when returning.
Great shop. And staff always great and really nice and very helpful
Best place to shop for household stuff. If you are new on town this is The BEST place to go.Very friendly staffs they have. Price is cheaper then nearby supermarket (they sell some food products too), surprise to get some Asean noodles here too. They do delivery too @ $15 extra. ..Oh ya..remember to join their membership @ $29/annum n u get 20% saving on all items..Definitely a wise choice to join.At times The Cashier Q may be long but it is moving fast, very efficient indeed.I just came to NYC n Bed, Bath n Beyond is definitely way Beyond my expectations. Keep it UP..
A typical Ber Bath & Beyond, but the line at the cashiers are literally beyond human nature. Also the team at the baby/infant area were not so helpful and prepared to answer to our questions. The real good thing is the special offer area, we’ve always found very good deals.
It it truly hard for me to believe that Bed Bath & Beyond is in trouble, as sadly, most retailers are in any category. This BB&B is on 1st Ave and 61st St. has served and continues to serve me well, since it opened, and I trust, would be the case for most Midtown East residents. Just this past Sunday I needed to return a Christmas gift. I did not have the original receipt but I did have my Amex statement with the item detailed. I went to customer service, a few customers in front of me, but not a long line. Within 10 minutes, I was called to the counter, I stated my case. The Associate directed me to insert my Amex card and voila, the full credit was issued. No questions asked. Completely effortless. And the Associate was sincere and pleasant when she said thank you, do you need any additional help? I asked where the coffee makers were located in the store. She gave me very specific instructions. Found exactly what I wanted, went to check out, fumbled with my iPhone to locate the famous BB&B 20% off one item coupon, the cashier asked if she could help me. I said please, gave her my iPhone and she found the coupon, scanned, I inserted my card. All done. Always a great experience at this location. I only ranked a 4 because I am finding certain items have become out of stock...otherwise, a definite 5 !
Love it here ! Cant come in for one item as I always leave with multiple purchases. Those coupons they mail you, make it easy to shop good quality items at affordable prices. And they accept them even after theyve expired !!!
This store is the more complete when you need to buy home stuff including some supermarket stuff!!! The convenience of using the coupons for savings, makes it more attractive as they accept them even though could be expired!I love to visit there. I always find something to buy!!!
Clean and pretty much organized. We found what we couldnt in other BBB stores. Staff helpful, they seems know what where to find. Great choice of many merchandise they offer, loved especially the travel size goddies and veriety. There were not many people at the time when we where there, so no lines at the cashier. Also convenient that they have Buy Buy Baby in the same store, in the basement level.Parking is not that easy, on the street cost $5 for an hour minimum. Covered parking not sure, didnt use it.
This is a pretty big store for NYC, which is great. They have have a have a good amount of merchandise and the Buy Buy Baby section in the basement is great for infant things. The staff is very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend it if you need household and/or baby products.
I loved shopping at this store. It was easy to locate everything on my list. The discount is awesome.
The staff was wonderful despite their future work uncertainty. Sorry to see this store go.
Not crowded. Can order in advance.
Line moved at a glacial pace. Went around noon on a wkday. There were many cashiers but they or their registers were slow. Used a coupon. They wanted a lot of info on multiple screens. Yikes. Then I remembered why I dont shop there that much.
Great closing down sale!
Bit pricy but great quality.
Great store for linens, kitchen stuff, small appliances... The staff is friendly. The inventory is usually well stocked. The selection too. Good discount coupons are usually available.
Clean massive store. What you would expect from a bed bath and beyond. They have the clearance section right at the front of the store (which lets be honest, I was going to go there first anyways). The line system here is much improved, however getting barked at by a manager while in line is a bit obnoxious. Overall good experience.
This store has great prices and everything you need for your home. They move the line along very quickly and are so organized
This location is closing prices are 20 to 40% off but they are not taking coupons. Not a lot of merchandise left. A few bargins to be had!!!!
One of the bigger and more spacious BB&B stores in the city offering a wider range of household products and foodstuff. There are some really good deals to be had for the determined shopper. Customer service was satisfactory.
On entering, the doormen are always super nice and helpful. My experiences at this location have always been positive. The store itself is huge, and generally clean and in order... Its also very dog friendly yay! Maybe because its so large, its hard to find help though, especially to reach any items high up. Unless the item is in offer or youre using the 20% discount, most items are overpriced. Ive only bought stuff on sale and been very happy with my purchases. Ive used the order online, collect in store option too which has worked fine, although I had to wait a long time to get served. The manager is also nice and hands on, offering assistance when possible.
Best place to shop, get there in the am if possible.
This is a fairly typical Bed Bath and Beyond. It felt a bit dingier than the one at Lincoln Square and it is vastly larger than the one in Rego Park. Despite the size though, it felt somewhat limited in the core Bed Bath and Beyond housewares merchandise, since lots of food, bath products, and baby products were being squeezed in. They were doing a good job keeping the checkout lines moving on a busy Sunday afternoon and staff were helpful in assisting us with locating what we were looking for.
Fine place! I bought my appliances and electronics, so far. so good!
I love shopping here for all of my staples and every needs at great prices. The door attendants are always friendly and the staff will even help you get large items out to a cab. Weekdays are best to avoid long checkout lines.
This is the largest BBB I have ever visited. They have a surplus of literally everything. The staff is efficient and helpful. I was able to purchase exactly what I was looking for plus a little extra Command strips and place an order for an at home delivery which took no more than 3 days!! Shipping was FREE :)
Store at 1st and 59 has closed... Thats sad
This store has everything- including food. I was in here for about two hours. If I hadnt have had my coupons I wouldnt have shopped though. The coupons make the store.
Curbside pickup for an item costing only a few bucks took approximately 17 min. Only one clerk for a queue stretching all the way to stores entrance
Definitely the biggest BBB I have been to. Three floors filled with great merchandise. One could spend hours at this location.
I like this store. It is fun to look around and get ideas. I am a very big internet shopper. I am glad that there are still fun stores to go to and see and touch. Only problem is we buy more than we originally planned.
I like buying my cleaning supplies and makeup on Bed Bath and Beyond. The prices are amazing. Staff is helpful, clean and very organized store.
Ive enter the store thinking I was going to buy pillows and a few cans of Holiday cookies. Instead, Id exit the store with three humidifiers and one air purifier🤗. I never buy what I attended to. There is always something better on sale. I guessed they see me coming🤔hmm.Oh well😊
For manhattan this is one of the better stores to shop for home goods. With the famous 20% off coupons, prices are competitive with amazon and you are able to see things In person. The store is organized well and the lines move quickly. Other than the dirty and outdated restrooms, I have no other complaints.
Buy buy baby, the best if you have a new baby
I didnt get his name but this man helped me find the mirror Ive been wanting forever. Best customer service. Best shop
Very big store but total lack of employee help. went in to try to purchase a pillow and had to leave after 30 min of trying to find someone to help me get it down from a high shelf. They could certainly do with having more and/or better trained staff.
This location is only good if you know what you’re looking for and don’t need any help. The buy buy baby section doesn’t have a large selection and staff is not product savvy compared to one of their locations that’s is not combined with their sister stores.
Big for Manhattan but it’s pretty messy and has the rudest staff I’ve ever encountered
Great place for all your entire household needs!
If youre thinking of registering here...dont! My fiancé and I work crazy hours and went on a week night thinking it wouldnt be crowded and easier to do so. Well we got there and asked at the customer service area which also said Gift Registry which is rather misleading. The girl (AA 20s wearing glasses) rudely said ugh it upstairs but you know what time we close? When we asked how long it took she rolled her eyes and said youll see. I should of walked out right then and there. But instead we walked upstairs to bridal registry to greeted by a less than enthusiastic consultant who wouldnt help us and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her. She basically said shed rather not do it tonight cause there may not be enough time and wanted to make an appointment but literally had no availability. We walked out without an appointment of a registry. Guess what? I WILL NOT BE REGISTERING AT BED, BATH & BEYOND AT ALL!!!!! We had a good amount of items we were interested in but we will now be taking our business elsewhere since the staff could care less and just the terrible customer service in general. Any place thats potentially about to get slot of business with a registry should show more enthusiasm not turn a couple off which they did.
Huge selection of everything you can think of and the staff is were super DUPER helpful!!
I bet nobody thought about getting distinctive products from here. They got some amazing stuff and love easy was it to get in and out.
The cashier was very rude slamming my items attitude, attitude over ten years Ive been shopping at this location and never had an issue.Love the store I will go back but the cashier needs to get a course in customer relations.
This a great place to shop for items you want for home. 3 levels full of nice and good quality goods. Elevators available . If you are looking for buying items for your wife, kids or yourself this is the place.
This location of Bed Bath & Beyond is a shoppers wonderland. The store is huge and on three floors. Staff is pleasant. Choices are marvelous. The only reason I did not give this location five stars is the long line at the cashier.
Hardly anybody to help you there. Eventually found someone, but she was engaged in a personal talk over the phone. Got totally ignored. Second time same person, in the basement, was talking to a colleague. I was nonexistent for them. I interrupted and then one of them acted like she was doing me a big favor.
Large selection, helpful staff and great prices
Came to this location yesterday, no one asked if I needed help after being there for Half an hour. Store seemed to be well stocked and in good condition, after going upstairs the staff there were helpful and enthusiastic. Downstairs not so much, I had one person help me while other staff were busy talking amongst themselves. Overall I think this location is good merchandise wise, I found some really great stuff for cheap prices, there were a lot of sales going on, the floor was kept clean.
THis used to eb a wonderful store with wonderful, smart staff including cashiers. Then they all left, seemingly and the wait times are deplorable. Its too bed; staff are not to blame, those who remain are as helpful as ever. It is a management problem and hopefully theyll get new management. On a Friday evening we just couldnt get waited on, only three cashiers and 40 customers. On a Monday morning there were no floor walkers to help. Sad, very sad to let a franchise be ruined by poor local management.
Tantalize your senses here with every fragrance you can imagine, its one of my favorite places💞
3 floors of stuff for your home or baby. Some good clearance items. Great deals available with Beyond+ membership. I save 20% on my entire purchase each visit. Paid for itself on first purchase.
We pulled over at the baby stuff section! I love all the witty parents who saw us shopping for a stroller and they stopped to give us their feedback and recommendations.
I shop here for household items, cleaning, beauty products, etc. because their prices are better than the Duane Reade/Walgreens stores. Gave it 4 stars today mainly for pricing as it looked like they were reorganizing, moving goods around leaving empty shelves is some areas and it is a bit messy while theyre in the process.
This is a great store for everything bath, hand sanitizers and scent candles. I bought a set of 10 hand sanitizers as a for a friend is this store and my loves it. It smells really lovely and fresh. The prices was very moderate and that’s exactly what attracted me to this store. I’ve also decided that henceforth this is my go to for hand sanitizers. #NewYork #Shampoo #BodyWash #HandSanitizers #Aroma #Conditioner
I didn t see hardly any bargins. And when there was one like a food item it was either expirered or about to be expired.
The staff is always helpful. everyone is happy to help you find what you are looking for which makes shopping here a delightful experience. Love this store...
Good location. Store has what you are looking for. Customer service is fine. Was given an item that did not have all the pieces in the box... What a pain, now have to go back and return it.
Edit: store closing. Many items on sale.Everything you need for your house: Ikea like store with a large variety of products but smaller in size. Prices are rather high. With a membership you get 20% off everything, so do your math.
The lady who works at the cashier did not wrap the glass bottle, and she did not take off the security tags anti thief, so I could not open the package to wash and I needed it badly. Some one who works there supposed know how to pack and wrap stuff or just throw everything in the plastic bag?
I liked it better in the last couple of visits, but its still nice to grab stuff for your house!
Love this store two floors of everything, and if they dont have it they will order it for, and ship it to your house for free. Employees are very friendly. And accommodating to everyone.
Really large store a lot choices. Never been disappointed 👍
Great experience every time.
One of our favorite stores
1 pm on a Sunday afternoon the lines to checkout was 30 people deep. I didnt even bother buying what I came for and left
They still have some real great deals and a huge selection on items. The staff are helpful and uber kinda. the wait in line isnt that bad. And youll always find what youre looking for
Found exactly what I was looking for! Long line at checkout, but it moved along at a reasonable pace
