I am writing this excellent review for a transaction I made the other day. I needed to sell my old iPhone and my old MacBook pro but did not want to get ripped off by selling it to the store. I searched google around 47th St. and I found this place and a few others that buy electronics. I was greeted and I sat in the waiting room for a few minutes where they appraise my items and they gave me the highest cash offer versus everybody else on the block. I was glad to sell my phones and my computers to Sell Electronics because it was super easy, convenient and the bottom line is that they gave me the best price. The workers were friendly, professional, nice and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable, offered me water and use of the bathroom facilities. I know now whenever I have to sell any Electronics that I don’t need anymore, I am going to them and recommending them to all my friends and family.

I was trying to sell my iPhone 8 and watch series 5 but they not give the actual price which was mention in their website that’s really bad experience I would not recommend any one to visit!!

I went to their office because I needed to take care of some bills. I realize that they have to make money as well and they advertise high paying prices. I arrived and was greeted into the waiting room and someone saw me and my old iPhone and laptop right away. I was giving a price and it was more than I expected and was happy with it. I recommend calling and booking and appointment like I did to speed up the process and make sure they take your device. Dont expect to come here with a amazon fire tablet expecting full price. They buyer was courteous and sympathetic to my situation and gave me what I needed. I will recommend to everyone.

They really try to lowball you once youre in there! I went in trying to sell my Ipad Pro 10.5 2nd gen for $350 i was in need of quick cash at the moment and the guy wanted me to give me $100 for something i spent almost $900 for. The owner kept showing me a piece of paper on how he paid less than 300 for a newer version of the ipad i was trying to sell him. He came off as rude and very arrogant. I was so mad i couldnt wait to leave the place. Stay away from their business!

Went today to sell my Amazon Fire Tablet. The guy told me to go upstairs to the office, where another person told me he does not take tablets. I found this strange because I know full and well a tablet is an electronic device. If that was the case, where was the sign No tablets?I told him I needed the money to pay a bill. He didnt care about it; he just said the same thing, smiling at my face unfazed.So basically, I traveled to Manhattan in 93 degree weather to get a no from an electronic store that rejected an electronic.Dont go to this place. Youll waste your time, and it feels like a scam.

A complete scam they have prices on items in which they say they pay but as soon as u enter the place they treat you like garbage and with an attitude and whats listed they are not taking so why have a list of items if they are not taking them or interested. A disappointing trip to say the least no stars for this place...

Dont even bother. I sold my 2016 macbook pro in pristine condition. They keep you waiting just to low ball you. Go to Computer Overhauls. Their quote was $150 higher than Sell Electronics NYCs offer. I got the quote about 2 hours too late! Not coming here again.

The workers are nice, I was seen quickly and I received cash. However I only got 250$ for my iPhone 6plus Verizon 16GB.Their reasonings were what made them get the rating. If its just a close to none demand on the phone then I get it.But to tell me, a tech that works for Apple, its because theyre announcing the new iPhone 7sE or whatever they called it, March 21st. Was ridiculous. Lol I only took the money because I didnt care. I had offers for 3-350 which would have been more suitable but its just a phone.But telling someone lies just isnt acceptable. Went to sell and old TV and AV reciever, they wouldnt take the TV unless it was brand new and got a straight no for the reciever. Dont know whats the point of the business if they only take brand new tvs. Name should be changed to sell apple products nyc as it looks like they only take these, not all electronics as name sugests.

They LITERALLY tried to steal me and lied to my face ! Avoid that place and just sell online on eBay. Here is my experience :I called a first time Sell electronics to know at which price they would buy a sealed mini iPad 3 16GB that my boyfriend never used. First of all, let me tell you that the person answering the phone was not nice at all and could not provide me any information because he needed to see the product before determining a price. I mean ... Really ? You are telling me that you are unable to give a price for a SEALED mini iPad 3 ? I guess whatever ...I decided to get to the place anyway. Once I get there, I am welcomed by two men. I explained that I called and proceed to show them the iPad. Right away, one of them asks me how much I want in a very cold way. I mean come on, you are the buyer so shouldnt you be more professional and tell me how much I can expect to sell it ? I guess not. After multiple tentatives, I just told him that I wanted to maximize my profit. Finally, he and his colleague dared to tell me that the iPad was a first generation and that they would give me $100 for it. EXCUSE ME ?!??!!?!!!! He then shows me on eBay that the iPad is worth less than $200 and says alright ! I take it for $150 ! Does that make you happy?. I felt so insulted that I just left. Afterwards, I can confirm you that my iPad is indeed an iPad 3, worth $269 on eBay. I opted for a sell through intermediary taking a 20% commission. Therefore, I would get $216.So ... Sell electronics NYC, next time you see a young black woman coming to your shop to sell a device, please do not assume that she is stupid and in need, because that was CERTAINLY not my case.PS: I am French so please excuse my English grammar.

These are $350 used right now $500 new... I told him absolutely not and kindly walked 10 minutes down to the Gem Pawnbrokers shop and they gave me $150 more than what i was expecting for it… and it’s only a loan so i can go pick my watch up whenever I want.
