Went here on the morning of 9/6/21. I ordered the Western omelet & husband ordered 2 scrambled eggs with bacon. The food here was good. They were fairly busy at 8:30 this morning when we were there.

Great service !! Fresh and fast !! Had the Mayela French toast extra toasty and it was great along with the Mexican coffee

Such a WONDERFUL place. I’m a visitor to NY and felt so welcomed from jump. From my waiter Sergio to the Manager Mike, EVERYTHING was 10/10. I even met the owner Andreas and he was so welcoming and sweet! Oh and their margaritas are RIDICULOUS in a great way. Go see these guys! I’m coming back tonight

Tzatziki shall be the spirit for greek food. Without nice taste of Tzatziki, feel not so much greek. Nice souvlaki but the Tzatziki mixed with too much tense yogurt, not much like traditional cucumber yogurt jam.

Established in 1980, this family owned Diner is located in the heart of NYC. Come here anytime and order some of their specialties!They have a very rich menu :-)

I love burgers so I come to Applejack Diner for freshly made burgers so many different choice of burgers but whatever you get its delicious. Also waiters/waitress are very friendly and remembers what my favorite thing to get from the menu. You will not regret eating from here.

Went in for dinner because the restaurant was located right next to our hotel. The atmosphere / decor is unique; the walls are covered with autograph pictures of celebrities that have eaten there. The service was quick and the staff courteous. I am giving three stars because the food was rather plain. The calamari and fried shrimp had no unique flavor or spicing; it was just fried. The monte cristo sandwich did not come with jam, syrup instead, and was rather dry. Overall glad I ate here due to the history of the place despite the food being okay.

We were there in 2012. The food was massive. Coming from another continent we did not expect that much. The service was exellent. If I travel to New York again i will go there

Been in NY Four days now and this was far most the best breakfast restaurant I visited. Very friendly and attentive, pancakes were to die for and this is coming from a Georgia girl. I love everything about it. Definitely will return.

Finish With The Pie! Stumbled on this place while in NYC yesterday. Knew it would be more than a diner from home. Burger price was $14. Pretty reasonable considering the size and sides. Cheese omlet was close to the same price. My wife said it was delicious. So when you walk in this place, the pie display just stares you down! In it, a lemon meringue pie with a minimum of 3 inches of meringue met my eyes. After our main courses, we finished with the pie. Now, its $8 per slice, but well worth it.

Great Diner food in a COVID-19 safe setting. I had the Moussaka special. Eggplant done just right, heavenly bechamel topping, tangy red sauce. Creamy salty feta on the included Greek Salad. Oh, and dessert was included, a most comforting rice pudding. All less than $20. All a 2 minute walk from Central Park South and Columbus Circle. Best restaurant around.

I recently had brunch at Applejack Diner with my sister. Unfortunately the meal and overall dining experience was bad. We both had basic brunch foods, e.g. eggs, potatoes and corned beef hash, but my omelet was over cooked and hard, and the corned beef hash inedible. I wound up sending it back after a couple of bits and they took it off the bill, but what a disappointment. We dined outside which was stuffy and had no airflow. Fortunately they finally got a large fan to provide some relief. Our recommendation is find another place to eat!

Awesome diner in the middle of Mid-town! Very friendly staff and awesome service! Also they serve breakfast all day which makes my wife happy.

We went today at 10 am (mom with 2 teenagers). We were seated immediately. Couldnt decide what to eat, they let us take our time. We had a big stack of pancakes (3 large ones), avocado toast with eggs and potatoes and toast, 2 eggs, potatoes and bacon. Everything was nice, pancakes very fluffy and eggs cooked perfectly. We never had to wait for a refill of coffee. The service was excellent, very friendly staff. Its nice they already include the service on the bill (didnt have to bother to do the math). Left a couple of dollars on the table extra👍

Food and service were fabulous, and the prices were super reasonable! Would recommend to anyone for breakfast and am definitely coming again!

Food you could get anywhere. Way overpriced. Ordered eggs Florentine and the spinach was frozen not fresh. Very disappointed. Definitely diners nearby that are much better.

Great spot for a bit to eat and a drink or two. We stopped in for a couple drinks before a night out & the bartender came out to us each time, got all our drink orders right and took great care of us! Well be back!

Cute little diner on Broadway. Our server was Maria which was super nice and patient. The breakfast was ok. Between everyone in my group we had pancakes, French toast, omelet, scrambled eggs, & toast. The first batch of French toast came out overly cooked, so it was sent back. The pancakes were more dry than fluffy and moist. Prices were good and not so overly priced. The mimosa and coffee with Kahlua was very good.

Went there some years, Maria the best coffee in New York, made you feel important. 😎😷

I dont give many five star reviews, but they did evertyhing right. Friendly service, quick and efficient. And clean! Had a BLT with perfect crisp bacon on NOT limpy toast. Excellent coffee. Chicken panini was delicious and HUGE. I know its only a diner, but I couldnt find any flaws

An ok diner which was located very close to the hotel we were staying at. Visited for breakfast and the staff were very nice. I was expecting the prices to be a bit lower given that this is a diner but it wasnt the case. And the $5 tip specified by them sort of defeats the purpose of tipping. However the food was ok so no complaints.

Walking around NYC with two young, picky eaters we finally stumbled upon Applejacks diner... They certainly have something for everyone! Shrimp and chicken fra diavolo for me, pancakes and bacon for the kids and shrimp scampi for the husband! A little pricey for pancakes but hey, it is NYC! #dinerfood

Worst place to eat. It takes effort to serve food this bad. My meatballs had an obviously rotten taste to them, I couldnt eat them. The sauce is straight from the Costco jar. Terrible breakfast, they cant even get hashbrowns right. The positive reviews are obviously fake. Do not eat here. When I go to hell there will be an Applejacks dinner.

Wasnt overly impressed with the staff. My friend and I were visiting from MN. When we were seated the took my friends drink order & walked away. They brought us both water (which is what she said she wanted to drink) so at least they thought to being me something. Their menu is quite large/several pages. As a tourist I wanted to look through and the waitress seemed annoyed I didnt know what I wanted after 2 minutes. I asked for more time and she was very impatient. The third time she came over (after 2 minutes in between) my friend ordered and I said ummm, gosh Idk umm I and the waitress just turned & walked away. I told me friend it was very rude and the waitress came back & asked what I wanted. I said nothing, I wasnt ordering anything. To which she turned to my friend and asked her if I really wasnt ordering anything. I would rate them different if I tried the food but after being dismissed (probably bc I weigh double the amount of my friend) I dont know if Id go back. Maybe they had a bad day or arent used to people wanting to actually read a menu lol

This place is awesome! They have the best homemade style food. The food is so fresh and the postions are so big you basically get the most out of what you pay for. The staff and the owner are super friendly and nice that you definitely feel at home. Give it a try and you will always go back 😊

Food was mediocre only, nothing in particular. Service was fast. Next time I would choose another location for breakfast. And the worst thing is, that they decide on their own, how much tip you have to pay! They don‘t ask the customer and add the tip without any note to the bill!!!

Do I love this place! Quintessential Greek diner with virtually anything you could want to eat. Usually go there after a show on the way back to the hotel. It is quiet and calm. We are usually the only out of towners. Stopped in one afternoon to order something to take out (egg sandwich, TO DIE FOR) and it was packed! Families, singles, couples all happy and pouring over the seemingly endless menu. While you wait to decide take a look at the desserts. Mile high pies and cakes. Go any time and enjoy it all!

Only good thing about this place is location. Food is barely fine, service is horrible. Waiter made us feel like he wants us to leave as soon as possible. Serving knives were sooo dirty.

True NYC style - fast, friendly, tasty food. This place is a typical NYC diner. Very busy, very international crowd with visitors from around the world. Outdoor seating available too. When in NYC I have breakfast here daily. Nice change from expensive hotel food.

Food was OK, had the veal piccata and the spaghetti was over cooked and veal was mushy. Salad was good.

Just a Great Family run business with super Duper Food. We had Breakfast and Evening Dinner, for breakfast my sexy young wife Nicola had the American breakfast, I had the French Toast with Crispy Bacon and maple syrup Totally Yummy. For Dinner I had a T,Bone Steak and my wife had the Sirloin, both cooked to Perfection and all washed down with an Ice Cold Miller lite.Very friendly and Attentive staff, the owner also came over to talk to us. Just a Great spot for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, make sure you call in on your next Trip to New York city. Cheers Colin & Nicola Mcilvenny.

Writing 9/2020...We were in NY 12/2019 for several nights and ate here a few times during our stay, including breakfast and a couple of dinners. The food was always delicious and all the staff were so nice and friendly. Wish we could go back this year.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would. Customer service was awesome for starters. Second off, the food was delivered really quickly which was really nice. Also, the food was so amazing. It was hot, fresh and the portions were not too much nor too little for the price. Anytime I come back to the city I will NOT go anywhere else to get breakfast.

Really enjoyed breakfast there this morning. Attentive but not intrusive staff and the coffee was pretty good too. Priced competitively compared with other places within a couple of blocks.

Best restaurant in Manhattan! Ate there for lunch today, and went back again for dinner! THEY HAVE EVERYTHING on their menu, and it is all prepared perfectly! And the staff is the friendliest I have ever seen! And they make very, very strong drinks, too! Wish I could give it 6 stars or more!!

Great local breakfast spot. This place just feels local and not like a tourist trap. The staff is great and quick to serve. We ordered and our food and it was out in about 5 minutes. Food was served at a good temp. Would definitely recommend Applejack Diner when visiting the Time Square Broadway area in NYC

We stopped here after a night out. Its open 24hrs which is amazing! Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious; and had a home cooked feel. We ordered various pasta dishes, which come with either a salad or soup. Loved it so much we came here a second time before we left!

Excellent breakfast

Stuffed the belly with a delicious breakfast. Was accompanied by my father in law who is in a wheelchair and the staff could not have been better. All in all I have never had a bad experience in the applejack diner. Great place a must when visiting the times square area.

This is a fantastic place. I dont know that Ive ever seen such an extensive menu. Food was great and service was great. Truly something for everyone.

Amazing breakfast and menu options as a whole! Great to get a little of everything and sample. Only reason did not receive 5 stars is that waitress had to be alerted to need for refill 3/4 of way through meal after waiting for her to notice for 5mins or so. She was prompt once we asked.

Coming from England this is just how I imagined a NY diner to be. Good food, fast service, reasonably priced but still has the feel of a family run business. Like the fact that a simple eye contact is all that is needed for a coffee refill.
