Visiting The Body Shop on Broadway near Union Square was a great experience. The location was very intimate however was chockfull of many different products offered by beauty shop. They sell their own brand and all of their items are sustainably produced and distributed to fulfill industry markets of beauty buyers that value the environment.Beauty Shop is nothing new. The Beauty Shop began in 1974 and the founders belief in revolutionary work, that businesses can be a force for good. An American brand, The Body Shop has continued business for over 40 years. The Body Shop promotes practicing Self Care with their fruity and floral products of different sizes.

The staff here was friendly and accommodating, in showing me the different products. I purchased the Avocado body butter, which I enjoy so much.

Been using body shop products for years now. Big fan of the tea tree range. Love the way it smells. So fresh and invigorating. It really helped control my acne and fade the scars and blemishes. Recently added the Drops of Youth cream to my routine and it’s been great. Such a pleasant moisturiser. So light and non greasy. Skin feels so freaking soft every time I use it. Also bought the ginger shower gel and loving it!

The atmosphere there was amazing. Everyone made my trip feel so welcoming and I left in an even better mood. Alexis definitely made my trip worth it. I wish I could give a higher rating.

This shop was better than any other! Their beauty products were effective and trusted. Besides, the beauticians that were working there were very talented, nice, and accommodating to the customers like me. When I asked for a pedicure, one of the beauticians were very entertaining and helpful to me. At the end of the day, I left with a smile because of his successful service. Good job!

I love The Body Shop. I also love that they help you find what you need in store and are super informative about the sales and promotions going on. They also honor online sale prices in store. I love that and Ive never seen that at any other store. My favorite thing from The Body Shop at the moment is their body butter. They leave your skin moisturized and soft for many many hours. They have so many varieties. My favorites are the seasonal ones though.

I love this place. Whether you want to pamper yourself, or have dry skin this store has some of the best products Ive come across. Theres one in Kings Plaza in Brooklyn and another in Manhattan. They also offer discounts when you stock up. My favorite products are the body butters. Theyre made with ingredients that really work to moisturize and soften your skin for an affordable price.

One of my favorite places to shop for all my skin products. Love the sales that they have. I turn my bathroom into a mini spa with the products I buy here! From body butters to a bath pillow and scrubs! I get all my home spa needs here!

I used to love The Body Shop. They have changed a lot of their products over the years and discontinued some great ones. They still have a couple of things worth getting such as the olive oil body wash, the sisal wash cloth and the Moringa line smells like spring.

Very nice place!! I did not know that they actually had a store around since I am used to buying their products from TJmaxx. The products in store are really expensive though but they they have great customer service and I had tons of samples the last time I visited it.

Its a bit rare to find a Body Shop these days but it has stayed true to its variety of products and many of which address certain skin care issues (aging, oily skin, etc.) so its not just about smelling nice. The Sales Associates here are friendly and helpful and havent been too pushy the last time I was there.

One of my least favorite locations. The products are amazing. But this review has nothing to do with the products. I can always order online. This location is one of the smallest Ive been to. But what really pissed me off was getting a whole 10 mins before closing time to find the place closed. Im not talking about Google listing them as open past the time the website said. If in fact there was a change, the the site needs to be updated. But I went out of my way to get there. So it was a big waste of time and metro fare. Not happy at all, especially considering the Groupon expired the same day as well.

Ive been here several times and got really bad experience. One time a sale promoted to me a lot products on sale but I told her I just want to have some travel sized products as I was about to leave New York in few days. The sale turned really unhappy immediately and told me why didnt I buy products with better deal to get more products. She also said even though I had the membership card I could not add points as I bought so little or I could not redeem my birthday reward. I felt really bad and I just wanted what I needed that time. Another time I was about to find body butter, the sale did not say hi but said what brought you in today as I came in. I told her and then she ignored me, not helped me try / find products but playing with her hands and chatting with other staff lol. I was the only customer that time. After a while, she suddenly talked to me loudly did you have any question ? I felt uncomfortable and wired as she just wanted to kick me out and I did not want to go back again. The staff are aggressive and wired, not friendly.

So, my experience goes like this. I bought some gifts for a friends, and decided to take advantage of the 3+3 sale. I asked for a powder, and when I told the seller this is too light for me, she took it back to return the right number. I saw her looking for my shade number and when she realized they didnt have it in stock, she came back and told me that a) this is my number b) I shouldnt look for another shade. Stupid me I trusted her. She seemed nice, after all. Naturally, I looked like semi-dead pre-halloween spirit. They will try to sell products that are not good for you, lie, and then make it a hell to exchange the misplaced product. At the end, they tried to overcharge me and on top of that, out of the 3 products I returned, they took one out of my hands, and didnt allow me to replace it. They practically, stole it out of my hands. The manager has a terrible attitude. I love Body Shop and the products, and never have I encountered such a behavior at these shops. They lower the standards for sure. Horrible service. Not going back!

If you decide not to go with their recommendations they just immediately turn down their face, no eye-contact, not even a thank-you when they check you out with the product you picked up yourself. Worst attitude ever.
