I love this place! Every time I walk in, I feel welcomed by the cafe & retail staff. As a cyclist, I appreciate their expertise when it comes to bikes beyond just attire. I enjoy chatting with the staff here about all things bike related! The group rides are plentiful and welcoming. I recommend this place to everyone!

These guys remind me of the cool guys that work in my SF store. I walked in and they said; “Sir you look tired ( which I was) and asked; “ if I needed help”. I kindly replied “no thank you” and asked for a shot. It’s a good feeling to know there’s a spot while on vacation I can be welcomed in while taking a break from all the walking I’ll be doing in NYC for the week. We even had a fun chat about what John Hughes movies a younger staff member should watch for his first history lesson on 80’s pop culture. Thank you rapha store NYC!!!!

I dislike cheesy one star reviews myself and I wish I could say good things about my experience here but I can’t. Similar to what others have said, the staff’s attitude is arrogant and detached. I’m not sure if it’s a management problem, but I would never have a store where employees literally walk around with no people skills. Even the most basic of courtesies would go a long way. Tip to the staff there: all you gotta say is “hello” and “thanks” and that might reduce those 1-star reviews you’ve been receiving.

The customer service at the shop was absolutely phenomenal! Everyone was really nice and helpful. I was helped by Chris and he was super patient and helpful. I’m not sure about the previous comments but everyone was very attentive, took the time and patience to explain all the gear the store had to offer, and helped me find the jacket, shirt, and shorts I was looking for. I never felt like I was being upsold or ignored. I even left a bag by accident and was contacted by the store. I’m not a bicyclist — but would even consider being a member to rent their road bikes.

As others have previously said, the staff here are snobby and quite unhelpful. Not much customer service even considering I walked in with Rapha gear on me, so I am a returning customer. The most they do is the friendly greeting and stop there. I was very interested in checking out some pieces but nobody bothered to help me out. Also unfortunate to mention but during my whole time browsing at the store there was a south Asian gentleman and myself (Asian) who were trying things on and nobody was helping. However, when some white folks came in, they were attended to immediately. There was another fellow standing around whom I thought was another customer or friend of the staff just hanging out, so I was hesitant to approach. But when they were packing things up near closing, he started fixing things too. So he was really just sitting around and deliberately only helping select customers. Also, during the multiple times I’ve been to the store there has always been this tall fellow that comes off as management. Whenever it’s 30mins to closing, he’s always standing by the door which I feel makes customers unwelcome. It comes off like he just wants to kick everyone out on the dot and close up.This review along with what others have previously mentioned, is really just a reflection of poor management. It sounds like all they do is reply to poor reviews offering free coffee, but no improvement of actual customer service.TLDR: poor management as reflected by the terrible customer service, or lack thereof. Only helpful to select customers.

I have never written a negative, one-star review about anything in my life, but unfortunately this is going to be my first. I have always shrugged off rude, impolite customer service but these store representatives were extremely unpleasant and arrogant just like the other one-star reviews described below. I know that the company’s mantra is ”putting the customer at the centre of everything we do” but judging by the reviews combined with my experience at the NYC store, their mantra, from time to time, could be more like putting white customer at the centre of everything we do. I even had a friend with me and we were both speechless by the time we left the store.

Nice! What a concept - coffee cafe and cycle lifestyle. Love the bike hooks where the coat rack would be. Great gear albeit a little pricey. Paying for the neighborhood and the unique. Looked worth it. Comfy place to hang, WiFi etc. staff a bit detached. I was giving a bag a thorough exam, but nobody interested in exposing features or selling. Took it as somewhat snobby and maybe a little judgmental cuz of my age (older guy, avid cyclist) - looks can deceive. Will return tho

Rapha has the finest cycling apparel and accessories anywhere in the city. The “clubhouse” is beautifully designed with a cafe, seating area, bike racks and backyard. The staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly.Rapha also has an amazing cycling club (RCC) with approx. 4+ group rides per week. Plus, Rapha holds viewing parties for all the major cycling events, has presentations by cycling industry companies and lastly, Rapha is great place where the cycling community gathers and meets up!

The store is well laid out and its a great spot to hang out with other riders or to serve as a pit stop along your ride. Lots of cool and diverse bikes to see and chat about. Despite the Rapha stereotypes Ive yet to meet an unpleasant patron. It really is a good place to hang out.The cafe is good, only downside being that it closes at 5pm. My rides during the week are all after work so its hard to get the most out of the free coffee which comes as part of the membership.Id echo the words of the others regarding staff attitude. A bit of arrogance is one thing, but apart from one lady who is wonderful the overriding feeling I get is that they Im wasting their time and that Im not taken seriously. This is despite having spent a fair bit of money in the shop with those very staff members. These days I usually prefer to order online than to deal with the attitude.

Im in town for a week and could not skip out on visiting the clubhouse. Reasons? In chronological order:1. Buy things to make friends jealous2. Spend rent money3. Tell employees how awesome Taiwan is and how their next international cycling destination should be Taiwan.4. Buy exclusive NYC clubhouse merchandiseThe employee who helped me with my apparel purchase was super helpful and knowledgeable. I was on the market for a breathable cap and he knew immediately what I needed and found me the right size.I ended up chatting with him for a good 15 minutes at the register about everything and anything cycling. I really love how cycling can make it seem like Ive known him for a long time. I wish I had good enough memory to remember his name...Im such a horrible customerIt seems like they allow non paying customers to use their restroom. Ive been sitting in the cafe for 2 hrs and a lot of people have been walking over to the restroom without buying anything. This is really cool of them since I feel like a lot of places in NY dont allow it!PS Free WiFi and they have outlets under the larger TV for those wanting to do work.

Probably one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered. I bought two pairs of Loopback pants from the store within the past month. I got an email on Black Friday from Rapha informing me that the same Loopback pants were on sale. Being a smart shopper, I wanted to make sure that I wasnt overpaying for the items I previously purchased so I went to the store to inquire about any possible price adjustments. The store also promotes a lenient return policy, boasting you can return up to 90 days. The guy at the cashier was so rude when he explained the return policy to me, using aggressive/ condescending body gestures and pointing at me incessantly during the discourse. He spoke to me as if I stole something from the store, raising his voice and causing a scene to the point where other customers were staring. I even asked him why he was getting so angry. Albeit I was a bit persistent, I spoke to him in a polite manner. There was no reason for him to raise his voice like the way he did. Also wanted to point out that I have been a patron of the store since the grand opening earlier this year. I have purchased various casual bike wear products and all my previous encounters with employees at the store have been positive. But this one incident was absolutely unnecessary and tainted my image of the store.

The most important landmark in the state of British Columbia, as it contains an airport, helicopters and water wings that you can rent for a tourist trip at a nominal price, a yacht harbor, a cruise ship, a commercial port, restaurants, hotels and exhibitions as well.In short, it is the beating heart of the city, and the most luxurious and most expensive place I have seen since I hope God for the beauty of this placeOf course it is not the least expensive, but if you are looking for quality, discipline and good dealings, this is the ideal place. So as an experimenter of the place, I advise you not to miss the opportunity to visit the place. Thank you very much.
