Now is obviously a surreal moment to be buying a car, and we feel nothing but lucky to have chosen a MINI Cooper from MINI of Manhattan. Matteo, the rep who guided us, was candid, informative, not pushy, and accommodating—pretty much everything we could ask for. And we love the car!
Just bought my first car in ages from MINI of Manhattan. We were a little burned from previous interactions at other dealerships, but had a great experience here. We worked with David mostly, with additional interaction with Jordan, Catherine, and of course the accounting team in various parts of the process. Everyone was easy to work with, responsive via email for follow-up, and respectful of COVID precautions. They answered our many many questions fully and up-front. The whole thing from start to finish was efficient, straightforward, and fun. I was impressed and would recommend them highly.
Made an appointment to have my car oil changed. Came and I’m told that my appointment is during their lunch time and I have to wait until after their lunch is completed. Then why did you give me an appointment during your lunch time? Worst dealership experience ever. What this dealership fail to realize other people time is just as valuable. Had to leave my job and clients fo be here. Ended up leaving without oil change. Will go elsewhere.
Well there are some superstars at this Manhattan Mini such as Jordan and Mateo! The manager Catherine is very efficient and friendly as is the other salesperson Dave who helped with my custom convertible...and there could be some more that I havent met. The inventory is very low everywhere right now due to covid-19,but its a great showroom and they do everything in their power to please you and actually deliver the car to you when it finally arrives!
Mateo and all the employees at Mini of Manhattan were super knowledgeable and helpful. They communicated with me so efficiently and helped me choose the right Mini for me and my family. They helped get all the paperwork done before pick up, so all we had to do was sign while they changed the plates on the car. And of course they handled my trade -in easily. I love driving my new Mini and love that I can use electric or gas. Recommend 100%

This was a terrible experience overall..I arrived to Mini Manhattan on June 29, 2021, looking to purchase a new vehicle and was helped by Matteo. I selected a 2022 mini cooper (black). Matteo and I discussed the payment details, in which he ensured me final prices. I was scheduled to pick up the car the next day.As I returned to Mini the next day, everything changed. When I was reviewing the contract, all the final numbers had increased, when I asked Matteo for explanations, he could only answer with its just the number. I would ask for breakdowns of every amount, in which he failed to give me explanations. The whole process took about two hours, where Matteo would leave and come back when he pleased. Rather then working with me as a customer, he seemingly did not care whether or not I stayed or walked out the door. Matteo was rude, arrogant, and not helpful. Even when we had finally received the car, Matteo did not come out and say goodbye or a thank you.This experience really shocked me, as I have purchased one mini cooper before. I admire these cars, but this service I wont tolerate, and its a shame that there lack of customer support subsituted my whole experience. I hope something can be done about this situation because if I could I would give 0 stars.
A very pleasant experience in buying my Mini Cooper. The entire buying process from the initial visit and test drive to the final delivery took exactly a week. I really loved the fact that they took care of my DMV documentation and registration process. I also think I got a great deal on my Mini. David was very thorough in ensuring that all my questions and concerns were addressed and I was completely satisfied with my purchase.
My wife brought our mini in for routine service. It appears the service people tried to manually close the oil cap rather than properly using a torque. After approximately 50 miles on the road the warning sign came on instructing us to pull over immediately and add oil to the car (which we did). The following day we had the cap properly torqued at another service station and added even more oil. We are lucky that our engine was not ruined by Mini of Manhattans incompetence. The service people at Mini of Manhattan agreed to reimburse us for the oil change and oil but they have not sent us any of the proper paper work. We have tried calling them multiple times. They are the worst.
I have nothing but good things to say about this dealership!My Mini Countryman 2015 needed to be towed (here) as it would not start. They ran a diagnostic report on the car (took 2 days of thoroughness) and I received the bad news from my insurance adjuster that the car was a total loss (due to a natural disaster). Maileen was a pleasure to work with at the service dept. (upfront she told me the diagnostic costs as well as early options). I decided to look at cars here to purchase and the pleasantness continued! David Lata was my sales advisor and the process was smooth and seamless. (Hes very seasoned.) I bought another pre-owned Mini and this time a hardtop - beautiful blue with white trim. The car is in mint condition and priced right with low miles. Im very pleased. This location is a hip and cool place and owned by Mini corporate. I would recommend.

On 05-05-21 I took my 2006 mini in because it kept overheating, I left it to be diagnosed and after 3 days I got a call that the thermostat was the issue and the radiator fan, and that it would be $992 to fix. I accepted and I picked it up on 05-21, on my way home from Manhattan to Bronx the car started overheating half way home. I called them and they told me to take it back so I did and then on 05-26 I get a call that what the car actually has wrong is the head gasket seal and that it would be $3400 to repair it. What I dont understand is why I was charged the initial amount of $992 if that wasnt what was wrong with my car to begin with. I took my car in thinking a professional would diagnose the problem and fix it instead I feel like Im being taken advantage of, beware of this place.

On the overall bad, customer service is not there anymore, I remember when I purchased my first mini in 2009 till 20th was fantastic, dont know what happened, trying to blame Covid-19 but still no excuse, will never bring my GP3 2021 to this dealership again.
Really nice staff, especially Jordan, the gentleman who provides help with understanding the nuances of the car operation once youve purchased your MINI. They call it the second date. Also, the service dept manager was very nice and helpful.
I was in the market to lease a new car for a while, testing out various competitors before considering MINI. After a few unsatisfactory experiences with comparable cars/dealerships, I came to MINI of Manhattan and met with Sasha and Joe. Joe walked me through the test drive of a Cooper S Hardtop 4 Door (which ended up being the one I leased), after which I was intent on leasing. Coming in with a decent grasp on the market value and available incentives, Sasha and I were able to find a lease deal that fit within my budget and incorporated all of the options I had sought. I’m very satisfied with my experience and would highly recommend MINI of Manhattan.
Matteo was very helpful and prompt! This was the first time I bought a car site unseen and it was very quick and painless. Given that I was buying a used vehicle off lease there was a benefit to me in working directly with the dealer. This proved to be true with a cosmetic issue that Matteo resolved before I saw it or had to point it out. Thanks for a great experience.

I had a great experience at Mini Manhattan even with the obstacles of working with the Covid pandemic limitations. Catherine and Joe were particularly helpful. I bought one of their used models and I felt I was getting top service. There were some delays and hiccups with the paperwork and picking up the car, but the whole team was really personable in clarifying and correcting things. They offered their cell numbers and emails to follow up with any questions.
Long wait for our Mini due to world wide COVID shutdown. The wait was worth it. A special birthday present for my wife. She loves it!!! A fun convertible. Much “peppier” than I thought it would be. Ride is quite stable.Dealership & their folks were a pleasure to deal with!!!

Do yourself a favor and make the extra trip to Westchester or Ramsey to receive better service (those locations also have Saturday hours). Dropped my mini off for service last week and was called later that day with an estimate over the phone which I agreed to. The next day I received a bill more than double the price I was given on the phone. I called to ask why there was such a discrepancy, and the person answering the phone said my representative was busy and that I would receive a call back. Needless to say I did not receive a call back. I found this customer service totally unacceptable for a high end Manhattan car dealership. I can understand somewhat inflated costs for the convenience of dropping off at the location closest to Brooklyn, but absolutely cannot tolerate such disrespectful behavior.
They wont tell you theres another building on the next block where the parts department actually is at.
Went here the other day to look at a car for purchase. When I walked in an overly aggressive and quite rude man screamed at me to get out since I did not have an “appointment”. I had just been at Audi, Mercedes and Porsche, and the staff were all quite welcoming, friendly and polite. The treatment at Mini turned me off to any future purchase as I would not want to have to deal with this individual or any company that would see fit to employ this nasty, nasty man.

This is a gamble from where I live, considering it is in Manhattan and I am in Queens...traffic is crazy. That being said, it was a pleasant experience. The staff was friendly, and the service was fast. The place is small compared to others but it does not take away from the experience. I would definitely deal with the travel for the quality here. 🤗
Wasted my time, called me to their showroom for test drive and confirming that vehicle is available .when ready to purchase their sales rep ALEXANDER SASHA tried to sell me something that i didnt want .reason given that manager sold it to someone else . then why would you call me down to your showroom and waste my time .instead of being sorry he is telling me that you can go ahead and write whatever i want on social media .VERY VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL .will give them negative rating if there is an option .

This dealership is a pleasure in every way. Aesthetically, it is a pleasure to look at at every step. As approaching, the square art building provides great thrill. Upon arrival there is a tiny lot with a drive way leading to an automatic garage door that opens to a welcoming clean and modern check in space for service. The staff is immediately attentive at check in and has everything set up quickly and efficiently. There are great snacks, water, and facilities that are modern and smooth. If you choose to wait for your mini, there is a very modern space with chargers and tables.Personal shuttle service was provided to the subway and the ride and driver were excellent. I was glad to know that this awesome,sleek, courteous, and hospitable service lounge was available, if and when it was needed.
This is my second time leasing with Mini of Manhattan and working directly with Sasha, he is the best! Due to COVID19, selecting a car this year was very different. I had a bunch of questions and wasn’t always the easiest customer but Sasha helped me every step of the way. Picking up the new car was fast and easy. Sasha even followed up with a FaceTime call to walk me through the new car features. I could not be happier with my new 2020 MINI. Also, Catherine the manager at Mini was helpful and listened to all of my concerns, I look forward to my car check up in a few months!

I have continued to service my car over the years with Mini of Manhattan and couldnt be more pleased with the professionalism and care. I recently attend their Spring Clinic Event and had a great afternoon. I had a service technician go over the car with me and explain what was needed in language I understand. Everyone was friendly and happy to be there. So was I!! Catherine and I talked about the Mini Coupe and I took it for a spin. My future may include the Coupe and will definitely include a continued relationship with Mini of Manhattan.
Friendly and professional sales department. Service management, scheduling, loan car five star but... service mechanics need more training. Practically after my each visit I had to come back to do some adjustments and/or corrections. Like it couldnt be done in the first place (thats why three stars).
Super easy experience. Just got my first MINI COOPER (3-cylinder) and LOVE IT. perfect city / weekend car. practical and comfortable enough for a daily driver. SUPER fun ride and even being small has extremely sporty driving characteristics and enjoyable power. Feels as powerful, perhaps a little more, than a BMW series 2 base model. MINI Manhattan team was great to work with. Alex (Sasha) Lezhen took care of everything and pricing was even cheaper than I budgeted for. Matteo Marsilii with finance team was great too... no over selling or being pushy with additional maintenance add-ons but after doing the math + the peace of mind, bought the extended and enhanced add ons. picked up vehicle with in days of contacting MINI. Curbside pickup was fast, safe, friendly and efficient. I kept thinking ... “whats the catch?” .... ordering food online takes more work sometimes. So happy with quality of the product and experience all around. for a guy that really wanted a Porshe or Supra... this MINI is equally as fun. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience taking my mini to get fix in this place. They are totally wrote off!!!!The engine of my car looked kind of damage (according to a diagnosis from another mini dealer). I had to pay almost $4,000 for outside repairs without looking inside the real problem. They made me believe that my engine was totally fine. They told me to drive my car to test it, while I was doing was damaging more my engine. I drove my car for 2.5 hours for a long weekend vacation. I couldn’t arrive to my destination and I have to pay for the towing expenses for a broken part that it was brand new replaced from them. I never get the reimbursement back.I took my mini back to the mini dealer at least 5 times after the full “repairs” for the same issue I brought it. My mini is dead now. The last time I brought my mini back to them, they simply said “It is time to get a new car”. They absolutely screwd me over.

This is my first time leasing and also my first mini countryman. I had a great time working with Sasha (Alex) Lezhen. He was very detailed and personable. Even though I did plenty of research before I signed the documents, as a first timer, it was still a little overwhelming. Luckily, Sasha made the whole process easy, explained everything to me and made sure I was comfortable with all of it. I had difficulty finding certain documents; he worked hard and very patiently to help me get things done just like a good father would. I couldnt ask for a better experience. Ive been driving my mini for 2 weeks now and I absolutely love this car. Im very thankful for Sasha for helping me getting my first mini. He is a great salesman who loves the product he sells, enjoys making customers happy and passionate about what he does!

Highly recommend Mini of Manhattan. I absolutely love the transparency of this location. I went in to trade my Mini for a new one. I didnt just want to give my car away. Gabriella Mauro was wonderful in ensuring that we worked out the numbers to ensure I wasnt giving my car away and staying within my budget. Unlike every other dealership that I have ever gone to, there was no running back to the Managers office. Gabriella punched in the numbers into the computer and showed me the screen. I saw every possible scenario until we found one that worked for me.The best part of my experience is that I received a beautiful Mini bag to go with my brand new car.If you are looking for great customer service and someone who will listen to your needs, go see Gabriella. This mini Cooper are ripped off to people they only fix your car if you pay for itwarranty doesn’t work thatif you bring the car I car have warranty coverage they say nothing wrong with your car you keep driving and you risk yourself and your family but if you pay your own they fix more part even part is not broken and they will change it they say it’s not safe to drive only when you pay guys be careful And also take your pictures of your car when you bring it you can compare after and before you can have a document go to lowyear
Sasha is a great salesperson. He helped me every step of the way, including coming in on his day off to deliver my car to me. I am so happy I chose Sasha as my salesperson and used BMW Mini of Manhattan. He was professional, courteous and organized every detail. I feel a welcome part of the Mini family.
Beware...this dealership is highly overpriced...I brought my car to them to because the engine light came on...they charged me a $200 diagnostic fee to figure out whats wrong with the car (If you end up fixing your car with them, which you never should, then you get the fee back). The diagnostic fee is a way for the dealership to make all other options not realistic. I ended up needing new spark plugs and coils ~$200 online and they charged me ~$700 plus labor of ~$400. Normally this job only takes an HR or two. I decided to eat the $200 diagnostic fee and not do work with them. Do not make the mistake of bringing your car here in the first place. This place is terrible.
I leased my car at the dealership on LI so cant speak to the sales experience, but I can absolutely say that service here is awesome. I choose to drop my car off here for service over LI because they are super nice, never annoyed by my ridiculous questions, and always get my car done so fast. The offer a ride to the train at Columbus Circle which is a great help as theyre pretty far west.
Bradley (in service) and the entire Mini team were wonderful! Our car was damaged by a parking garage attendant, and Mini treated us extremely well and was understanding throughout the process of getting our car fixed. We will gladly return for more service (if it is ever needed).

I took my 2009 mini hardtop to be serviced here and Bradley Johnson was my service advisor. Bradley is AMAZING! By far the best service rep at this location. I had a few issues with my car and scheduling conflicts but Bradley was very accommodating, quick and addressed all my issues immediately. I was hesitant about bringing my car to the dealership but after this experience, I have no regrets!
Ask for Sasha (Alexander) if youre going to buy a car there. Hes the best! Super friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about Mini Coopers! Be sure to take a picture with him at delivery.

I just bought my first Mini Cooper and LOVED my entire experience from start to finish. Kristin was my sales person and was so easy to speak with, was not pushy but very informative. I felt very comfortable buying a car from her and she seemed as if she really loves the product. It made it exciting! I will def do all my business with her as long as I am a Mini driver.
Took my Mini here to get new tires. The very next day one of them is flat. I took it back and they said the valve on the tire was shoot. They charged me for a new tire and the labor after their mistake. Never bringing my car back there again.

Am honestly hard-pressed to say anything positive about my experience leasing my Mini from here.Have found the service department to be obtuse, dishonest, and adversarial. Service department outright refused to do routine service on my car when mileage was still within warranty. To be clear, Mini’s advertising universally indicates that service covered up to 36,000 miles; that sentiment was emphasized by sales department when I was deciding whether to lease car, and was echoed by everyone I spoke with at Mini UNTIL I brought my car in for service at 35,500 miles, at which point service department took position that I brought car in too soon for service. At 37,000 miles, service light came on and service department said work/maintenance on MULTIPLE parts was required and would cost me $700; all of that work was covered if performed within 36,000 miles. Outrageous, and not one person from Mini has been able to explain to my satisfaction why those services weren’t performed when I brought in at 35,500, much less attempted to remedy situation. I should also note that I leased vehicle for 45,000 miles so this isn’t a situation where I’m trying to fleece these guys for out of plan work. Thought Mini would want to protect its investment, do right by a potential repeat customer, and just act in a generally principled manner. Sadly, that has not been the case.I am now preparing to return my car and feel like Mini’s entire process is about “making a case” as to why they are entitled to extract even more money from their customers on the back-end. That is a terrible feeling to have about your car dealer, but that is regrettably exactly how I have been made to feel.Really can’t express enough how negative my experience has been. Love the car, but will NEVER give Mini or its parent company, BMW, future business.I don’t normally post negative reviews about any company (I don’t generally feel such abject dissatisfaction, and even when my experience is poor, I’m not inclined to share). That said, my experience with Mini of Manhattan has been just that distasteful.

Mixed feelings. Receptionists, sales department extremely nice and helpful. However, the service departments attitude sub par. Additionally, our Mini wasnt even vacuumed after the oil change and basic service appointment.
Great staff. Absolutely great service. They even have a car loaner for your tuneup with reservation. highly recommended.

Awful service department. They never pick up the call, and they are constantly trying to rip you off for unnecessary things on your car and not solving the issues. Every dealer is over priced but this dealer is not two or three times over priced, but they are more than 10 times overpriced. Avoid at any coast. All I am saying shop around even if it is at different mini dealers. Never again. I love the Mini but definitely this dealer does not represent them.

The dealership was friendly from front to back, starting with the front desk to the service advisor, with clear communication and got me and my car in and out quickly and efficiently.
The service advisors know what they are talking about and care about your car and you as a customer. They fix the car and then clean it too. They also tell you when you need to get something done so youre not doing unnecessary work on the car. In other words, they care more about your car than they do about the money. If you want great service bring your car here!
