This store is sooo clean and the products are displayed in an orderly manner. A little pricey but the friendly staff makes you want to buy anyway.

We were visiting some friends in the area and needed to pick up something to bring with us. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the store and great options for a few wonderful platters they quickly helped us put together. Everything was so fresh and amazing! Highly recommend for a party platter or doing your every day shopping. Very nice store! Kudos!

Foodtown is pretty okay. The deli section is nice and everything looks fresh. There is a small fish market section towards the back so the place smells fishy. They have what I like to call specialty sodas and drinks which I do like.

I have been shopping here for a few months and have been increasingly confused by how rude the staff can be while others are polite. Today a cashier said absolutely nothing to me during the entire transaction, even when I said thank you he just glared at me. He didnt even card me for the beer I was buying. I have had nearly identical experiences with at least two other cashiers. Most of the cashiers are too lazy to deal with the bag tax, even when I tell them that I will need to pay for bags. Then I got home and found that the loaf of bread I bought is covered with mold. Its too bad that some of the staff have to put up with these employees because I have had great experiences at the meat and cheese counter, they have handled the pandemic well and the store is generally clean and sells clean food. It is a nice place until you get to the check-out area or get home to open your bags and find mold. After this I will be looking for a new grocery store.The community deserves better.

Amazing new supermarket. Great prices and they carry this amazing Mediterranean garlic sauce. Wow the best thing Ive had in a while. Its called Tachbisha if you go there you have to get it. They have an condiment, marinate a dressing and a spread

Terrific grocery store, all the staff are friendly and professional, and it has a wide variety (and wide price points). I particularly love the fish department - the couple who run it are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and make amazing fish rubs. They also give excellent advice on how to cook different fishes, and with what. The neighborhood was really lacking a good fish department before them, so Im super happy that theyre there

A very helpful and intelligent staff. The best Supermarket in East Harlem. The seafood department is awesome. The fish is super fresh and of high quality. Guillermo who works in the seafood department seriously knows his seafood. He can answer all questions on the seafood and direct you in the right direction when making a choice! I have a choice to shop for food and seafood at Wholefoods and Fairway. They are not that far away. In fact before Foodtown I did! Now I find no need to go to either of those stores.

Great super market. Thus far theyve had everything weve needed, and their weekly deals are worth it. Amazingly friendly - they greet you individually when you walk in and are always willing to help if youre looking for something. I used to shop at city fresh, but after the the option of a rewards card, Ive switched over. Happy to have this added to the neighborhood.

Its clean and very well stocked with items I like (more healthy western vegetarian diet). Staff is friendly and empathetic. Unfortunately signs saying whats in the aisles cant be read until youre right by the aisle.

They would get 5 stars if they didnt play soul music all day. Bonus, its directly across from Blink Fitness (a lot of eye candy as you shop).

This is the place to shop in Harlem, forget all those other grocery stores they ain’t got nothing on this place. One of the cleanest grocery stores I have ever been too. This is the only FoodTown Supermarket that Ive ever shopped at. When they opened about a year or two ago but been going there since and The place is clean and shelves are stocked and fresh Fruits and vegetables seafood ilooks fresh, meat prices are reasonable. As for myself I enjoy shopping there and will continue.

Price marked on items inconsistent with price charged at register. I dont have time to ask for price corrections. When I get to the register I just dont get the mismarked items and I dont generally return to that store. They need to stay on top of their prices and make sure they are consistent with the price on the shelf.

This supermarket is gem, there is a great selection of organic products, many options for vegans and non vegans alike. Mr Todd T who is a cashier, the gentleman at the fish department and many of the stockpeople are great, helpful and friendly.

It is a new supermarket. The fish is very fresh, I do not really care for the sandwiches, didnt try the salad and smoothies yet, prices are pretty good, but noticed the produce cost more than the other local supermarkets.

Always so nice to me and my family, my 2yr old son loves everyone there! They show high interest in what the customers want and stock their store accordingly. All in all im happy to have them there, its one happy foodtown family!
