I have found communication to be a consistent issue with Dessy group. My biggest issue is that my bridesmaids ordered dresses in June which were supposed to be delivered by September 3 at the latest. Half of my bridal party received theirs the first week of August and the other half hadn’t received theirs as of September 3. The week of Sept 6 I attempt to call Dessy showroom only to find out they are not taking calls. Emails only. I reached out by email and only on 9/10 AFTER I had to reach out to them are they letting me know that the dresses are not coming due to COVID delays at the warehouse. Listen, I get it, everyone is having supply chain issues right now but they did nothing to notify me of this delay when based on the review a few reviews down, they’ve known about it for 2-3 weeks at a minimum. This should’ve been handled with a phone call from Dessy to the bride explaining and offering a multitude of options and an automated email to the affected orders as soon as they were aware of a delay. It shouldn’t have taken me trying to hunt someone down for a week via email. Dessy ultimately only wanted to offer 2 options that not only were hideous, but did not complement the current dresses at all and offered no way for my bridesmaids to get their money back but I cannot have my group in different dresses.Additionally, when were in the showroom, we we’re assured by our stylists that my remaining bridesmaids would be able to go to any location that carries Dessy and be measured for the dresses. We we’re told that we should order directly online and let our stylist know when the order was placed. I asked a number of times if these locations would be willing to measure even though we’re not buying from them and was assured that it would not be an issue. FYI- even outside of COVID, they only let you bring 2-3 bridesmaids) This was not the case, as all of my bridesmaids encountered the opposite- the locations that carry Dessy will not measure unless you are buying from them and we had been asked not to buy directly from them. Either Dessy showroom should have been clear upfront that they would not be able to offer anywhere for girls to get measured or they should not have asked that we purchase directly from the website (it’s not like it made a difference - based on the way that the dresses were shipping at random times, they clearly don’t go through the standard process of working on/sending each bridal party together)Unfortunately it seems like the focus here is only on making the sale but once you hand over the money, there is no further care taken. I sincerely hope no bride has to deal with the amount of undue stress that dealing with Dessy has added.

I spoke directly with Iris in regards to ordering a dress recently designated as no longer available. She could have easily said it was unavailable and moved on, but she inquired with the production team and got back to me almost immediately. She was extremely accommodating, professional, empathetic, knowledgeable, helpful, and reassuring. I’m not sure what else you could want in customer service! Thank you for your help, Iris!! Incredible customer service and a thorough knowledge of what dresses would work best for my daughter made purchasing a bridesmaid gown from Dessy a most pleasurable experience. We were able to ‘say yes to the dress’ without all the hoopla and drama of a huge showroom. Leandra’s personal attention made all the difference. My experience at first wasn’t very great. The dress came in way big and honestly wasn’t and (still isn’t) true to size. All have to be altered just know that. I had the help of Iris to aid me in getting a different size and because of her quick responses and pictures via email of the dress I was able to get the item I needed. I am grateful for her and all her help to make my life stress free.

Leandra had all the dresses pulled for me that I had previously told her I was interested in and pulled additional ones that she thought would compliment me. She had good feedback regarding what dress would work for my body type. It was a very beneficial experience going into the showroom versus just ordering online!

I cannot express just how fantastic this company is. My original bridesmaid dresses were backordered due to COVID outbreaks in their vendor, completely out of Dessy’s control. Dessy was empathetic, and was dedicated to making it right. They offered alternative options that would meet my deadline, and these dresses turned out EVEN better than I could imagine. Their communication was superb, effective, and extremely quick. Shoutout to the entire Dessy Team. If you’re between Dessy and another online retailer, always choose Dessy.

We came to Dessy after searching high and low for mismatched purple bridesmaids dresses. Dessy has such an awesome selection of colors and styles, so I knew we would find something here. I made an appointment with Melanie, and she even pulled in one of the designers to work with us and find the perfect color combination. During the ordering process, Melanie was extremely helpful, even with suggesting sizes for my girls based off their measurements and tracking our order numbers. My girls looked perfect on my wedding day!

I ordered a flower girls dress according to the measurements listed on the Dessy website, but when it came, it was too tight. Iris & Chelsea went ABOVE & BEYOND to exchange the dress for the next size up EVEN THOUGH it was a very short time frame until the wedding by that point. They rushed us the new dress & it fit MUCH better. THANK YOU for your EXCELLENT customer service, rush shipping & a beautiful dress! My daughter wore it in the wedding & got a TON of compliments about how beautiful it was. :-)))

The Dessy group customer service is fantastic. The suit style I needed for groomsman was discontinued, however Iris Dominguez with customer support worked with me to have the warehouse look for my size even though it was not showing available on the website. They ended up having my size in jacket! I wear a 30 x 30 pants but they found a size 32 x 30 that I can easily have taken in by a seamstress. So if you do not see your size online, don’t let turn you away. Take a second and call the fantastic customer service folks and they will check the warehouse for you. They were so fast at communicating via email to confirm orders, let you know the status, and also when you should expect delivery. It wasn’t just an automated email that is typical of online orders. It is very personal and directed at you the customer. Delivery was super fast within a couple days of order finalization. I haven’t had this great of customer service, maybe ever. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!

After Brideside, a boutique in Manhattan, decided to close without fulfilling people’s orders, Dessy was left to clean up the mess. The pandemic has effected everyone and my best friend was heartbroken thinking we weren’t getting out dresses, especially since 3/5 girls still needed their dress. I called dessy and was given to Lori one of the supervisors to assist me in this disaster. Not only was she able to get my dress ordered but she was able to get it to me 2 weeks before the wedding date!!! She’s a miracle worker!! I’m so happy that as the matron of honor I will have the dress the bride wanted! Thanks again for helping!!! Outstanding service and communication!

I worked with Melanie, and her customer service was flawless. Her patience, help, and determination to find each of my bridesmaids their own unique dress made our experience at the Dessy Group an incredible one. She made all of the girls feel comfortable knowing that she was providing them with her honest and expert feedback, as she guided their individual decisions on what styles fit them best. I’m confident that all five girls are going to look absolutely beautiful on my wedding day- all thanks to her! Melanie and The Dessy Group were also more than accommodating with one of my bridesmaids who is expecting the birth of her first child the day after my wedding, which made dress shopping quite stressful to say the least. Its definitely not easy to picture what you’re going to look like 9 months into your first pregnancy, but Melanie truly helped to put her mind at ease- booking multiple appointments with her all the way up until 3 months to the wedding day, and insuring on-time delivery. I would definitely recommend the Dessy Group to anyone who’s in search of a store for a variety of quality bridesmaid dresses. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

So, after some less than ideal experiences shopping for a bridesmaid dress at other bridal shops (*cough* Davids Bridal *cough*) I was thrilled to find The Dessy Group. It was super easy to book an appointment. Customer service was attentive and the website user friendly. I just went online, picked out a few styles I liked, and sent the item numbers along with my appointment confirmation. One major plus is that they have a whole selection of gowns that are available in 3-5 days. So for me, that was ideal. When we arrived at the show room I was impressed with all the color swatches on display! Also, the fitting room is spacious, with great light and a comfortable dressing area. And I want to give a special shout out to Melanie who absolutely made the experience. She had everything ready for us, gave helpful suggestions along the way, and just made it all so easy and painless. I walked away having purchased the perfect dress (bride approved!) and came in under budget. Itll be delivered to my apartment in a few days. Highly, highly recommend!

I am so glad I chose to shop at Dessy for my bridesmaid dresses. I wanted the same style dress but in a spectrum of different shades. We chose to go with different shades of green of the After Six Bridesmaid Dress 1517 after we made an appointment at the Dessy Showroom in NYC. The dresses were affordable with great quality. We worked with Melanie who was so incredibly helpful. She switched out dress colors so we have a more cohesive set of color choices. I recommend going two sizes up then tailoring the dress to your measurements especially if the dress is form fitting without any stretch. All of my bridesmaids have curves so they all had to make sure they were supported up top while being able to sit comfortably. Melanie was clutch when one of my bridesmaids realized how tight the dress was on the hips and she made a rush order a month before and allowed her to return the original dress. I recommend Dessy to all brides. Melanie is awesome !!

The dresses were very affordable. I also got matching ties and pocket squares for my groomsmen, which is really helpful. Love the Dessy Group and highly recommend them! After a lot of research regarding bridesmaids dresses, I discovered Dessy and I am so glad I did! Melanie, the stylist at Dessy, is AMAZING! She responded promptly to all my emails/questions and helped me find an array of colors and styles that worked with all ten of my bridesmaids. My Matron of Honor, Maid of Honor, and I visited Dessy Group (with an appointment) today to try on bridesmaids dresses. Melanie was our coordinator and she was AMAZING to say the least. All dresses we requested were pulled and ready. She offered advice on color choice (I was between Taupe and Oyster), and even made recommendations regarding shoes and jewelry - super, super helpful. We had visited another bridesmaids dress retailer prior to this and the experience was completely different. Melanie was organized, prepared, incredibly helpful and super pleasant to work with. There was a large variety of dresses to try on and choose from, and the material was lovely - not cheap or tacky looking. Todays experience is what made us decide to go with Dessy for the bridesmaids dresses!!!

I never write reviews, but I had to on behalf of Chelsea who went above and beyond to help me for over two months deal with returns, refunds, and finding the right dress that worked perfectly for me. I had ordered eight dresses before finding one that fit properly and appropriately, and throughout that whole process, Chelsea made herself available to answer any questions I had, and ensured that I was able to get my money back in a timely manner (making returns as easily as possible) - she responded to emails so quickly and kindly, looked into all my orders for me, and went out of her way to check on the status of all of my returns. If it had not been for Chelsea, I probably would have given up and tried to find a dress elsewhere, but her continual patience and willingness to help allowed me to find a dress I loved.

I set up an appointment with Dessy to have my 6 maids fitted for a dress and it was incredibly simple. Had an amazing experience picking out my bridesmaid dresses. When my group arrived we were promptly seen and all of the dresses I selected online to see were already pulled and swatches ready to look at. They even tried to get sizes close enough to my bridesmaids sizes so there was little to no use of clips! And the women helping us were so nice, and honest about the possible pros and cons of dresses and how it might fit my entire bridal party. It only took 30min to find the dress for my group and measure/size the members of the bridal party who came to the appointment. It was great!

Online the first available appointment I was able to get was the 1st week of Sept. Chelsea emailed me to tell me that if I ordered the dress then it would not arrive in time for the wedding and asked if I could come in sooner. She gave me an appointment for the very next day!! I was so impressed by her thoughtfulness. Melanie who took care of my daughter and I the next day was equally wonderful and did exactly what she promised. My experience with Dessy Group was amazing from the moment I discovered them and I know it certainly won’t be the last time I do business with them! From the ease of making an appointment online, to the fabulous customer service of Melanie at my appointment, to the delivery of my perfect dress, I am incredibly happy. Melanie was able to look at my body and pull dresses she knew would flatter my figure but would also still make me feel just as sexy as the other bridesmaids. The showroom was clean and the appointment was one on one personalized service. They carried MANY styles of plus sized sample dresses that are almost impossible to find in other bridal shops. The dress took 9 weeks to come in standard delivery and it fits perfectly. I have referred this experience to many friends and will continue to do so. Thank you!

We had the most amazing appointment. Melanie helped us. Im the bride, and was nervous (this was our first appointment for bridal party dresses). In 1 hour we found everything - even a dress for my mom! I ended up seeing what Id liked on-line, but then switching to another dress I found in the showroom. Melanie was totally relaxed and helped us switch gears, pulling out other dresses on the fly, and finding fabric swatches, styles and sizes for all my bridesmaids - we ordered the dresses that same day. And the Ring Bearers matching bow tie has already been delivered!

My walk-in appointment at the Dessy Showroom was straightforward and effortless! I already knew what Dessy bridesmaid dress style I needed for my SILs upcoming wedding and I just needed to get my measurements taken. I called the customer service line the day before and the receptionist was accommodating and asked if I could come in the next day before 4:30pm. I walked in around 3:15 and everyone I interacted with was extremely friendly and professional. Christine, who took my measurements, was consultative in what size I should order for the particular dress style. I was in and out in 15 minutes and, as I was leaving, the receptionist gave me a swatch of the dress which my bride LOVED! Christine emailed me my measurements and her sizing recommendation within 2 hours. I would highly recommend visiting the showroom for anyone considering or ordering a Dessy dress.

My bridesmaids and I had an excellent experience at Dessy. The two consultants were polite, accommodating and fun to be around. They eagerly pulled dresses from the back when I had questions about color or fabric and easily answered all of our questions. It was very nice to be in a space with only one appointment happening at a time; it guaranteed focus from the consultants and generally made the experience better. I had the pleasure of working with Melanie as my consultant. The ease of trying on, sizing, and order bridesmaids dresses for ten girls was outstanding. Many of the girls were hesitant to order from a showroom instead of a bridal store but their worries were eased quickly. Being that we had so many girls, we had to take two separate trips to the showroom to try on the gowns. I never had any issues with scheduling appointments and they were very flexible(even staying late to accommodate some girls that couldnt make it within their office hours). The whole experience was a breeze thanks to Melanie and the rest of the staff at Dessy New York.The dress was received by the bridal party earlier than expected. All the sizes that were suggested fit the girls as expected. As soon as each girl received her gown they instantly contacted me to express how beautiful and well made the dresses were.I cannot thank Melanie and the Dessy group enough for helping bridesmaid dress shopping be as stress free as possible!

I had a great experience here getting fitted for bridesmaid dresses for my friends wedding. They were prepared with all the styles that I requested in reasonable sizes so I could get an idea of what the dresses would actually look like. They measured me and gave me a suggested size for my three favorites, plus they gave me a discount code for their website. Very friendly customer service, I would recommend and definitely go back.

Incredibly helpful on helping select the fabric and color for Bridesmaid dresses. We were able to see all the options right next to each other and how well the ties match the dress colors. They were willing to give us fabric swatches as well to take home which will be great to have. Highly recommend stopping by the showroom if you are ordering dresses from them!

Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. I sent an email to request an appointment and received a prompt reply. They were able to accommodate me quickly as the instructions I received gave the wedding party just about three months to get all in order! In a series of panics from color, to style, to timing, the woman who got in touch with me - Melanie - assured me all would be okay. I gave her a sense of what styles I liked, my typical dress size, and she pre-pulled some preferences plus dresses she thought would work, too. I walked in with some fear on my face, as Melanie and Chelsea noticed ... We tried on a bunch of dresses, each one building better than the one before it. They definitely got to know me, my style, my comfort - it all seemed to relax and evolve until we found a dress I never would have considered otherwise. It looked great, it was a pleasant surprise! They let me try it on twice, change the straps around to see different looks, took pictures for me so I could keep a reference, they were incredibly sweet, fun, and patient. After a while it just felt like I was hanging out with two friends! They took my measurements, helped me find the right size, and made me feel confident in my choice. I walked in with a frown but walked out with a giant smile! Melanie is very friendly, straightforward, and doesnt waste your time. I asked to have a few dresses pulled ahead of time plus whatever else they had in a similar vein and she did just that. Nice selection with no pressure or sales tactics.

WHAT A HORRIBLE COMPANY. I was the maid of honor for a wedding and my dress was so ugly I could not wear it. I called and asked if I could come in to buy another dress and NO ONE would help me. The said there was no way they could squeeze me and said I needed to take pictures and send to them so they could see the problem. I did this and they wrote back that they did not see anything wrong and there was nothing they could do. I was offering to pay more money for another dress and they still wouldnt help me. What a horrible company and customer service. I truly hope they go out of business.It took multiple times of the customer(me) following up to get a meeting scheduled (correspondence below) with them and when i finally did i had to fly last minute to CA for work and they wouldnt reschedule me:Feb 22, 10:22 -05Can someone please answer me?! Out of all of my dress shopping experiences (both for other bridesmaid dresses and for my own wedding when I got my dress at Kleinfelds), Melanie made my bridesmaid dress shopping experience at Dessy *the BEST* by far! She pulled samples in my hard to find plus size, helped me to explore dresses that would both compliment my body and match the other bridesmaid, as well as styled me to perfection! Normally, as a plus size gal, dress shopping can be daunting and a somewhat depressing experience but after my appointment with Melanie, I was thrilled with my dress selection and felt that not only did I have fun, but I had a very body-positive experience. First of all, MELANIE MARTICH IS A GOD-SENT!!! I live 5,000 miles away (literally) from the showroom and had to schedule TWELVE people for fittings. Melanie didn’t bat an eye. She took them in and always kept me informed on fittings and measurements, providing size recommendations, and even FaceTiming me in. She went above and beyond. I’m so glad I had her on the team. Hey Dessy, give this girl all the rewards. She made me a believer in bridesmaid dresses again.As for selections, they have a wide range of fabric types, styles, and colors. I think brides out there can find whatever style they’re looking for. Range of price is really fair so there were no issues there. Overall such an amazing experience. No complaints, all compliments here!

We had the best experience here. They had the dresses ready that I had requested and recommended some additional ones. They were extremely nice and made this really enjoyable.

It took a while to get an appointment, and I couldnt figure out why, but it is because they only have one fitting room (I think). Melanie helped me find the dress I needed for a wedding and she was AMAZING. Super duper friendly, made me feel comfortable and was honest with how dresses looked on me. I am so happy I got to meet her.

The New York showroom is a beautifully designed space, and Melanie is a FANTASTIC consultant — super responsive, friendly, and helpful! My bridesmaids all have very busy schedules, and Melanie was so patient and flexible with getting them in for appointments.

Received excellent service from Chelsea. I was having challenges ordering a dress on-line and took the time to assist me by verifying the dress, in my size, was available at the warehouse and provided me a workaround to place the order. Couldnt be happier!

I have never ordered a bridesmaid dress from the internet but my bride to be bestie selected our dresses on the Dessy website. I am known for being last minute (at everything) but with the production time of the dress with regular shipping being 9 to 10 weeks, I wanted to reach out to the customer service team of Dessy to inquire a better timeline with rush shipping. Chelsea answered all of my questions about shipping and offered advice about the sizing of the dress. I had prior concerns about the sizing (as any other person who is ordering online would) so I really appreciate her addressing that with me. Chelsea was incredibly professional, helpful and took great care of my needs. To my shock and surprise after ordering the rush delivery option, Chelsea upgraded my shipping for an earlier date. My initial visit was great. I found a dress for my bridesmaids and a jumpsuit for them for the reception. They had to get there measurements done for the dress. When the dresses arrived, most of the dress sizes was wrong. It looked like they added an additional 2-4 inches to the body. The dresses do not fit like it suppose to. I called the office and the only thing I’m getting is an apology.

My experience at The Dessy Group was a 10! Showroom is bright, clean, modern. The stylist who worked with me was knowledgeable, helpful with suggestions and ideas and a very pleasant and easy personality. Overall, a great experience.

I wanted a fabric and color that the Dessy group recently discontinued. When I emailed them they quickly got back to me and got me the exact dress I needed even though it was discontinued! Great customer service!
